Father, what a joy it is to be before you. And when we say we get to do this, we mean it. This is a privilege. And in Lord today, we want to honor you with everything we say, all of our conversations, even the clips we play, everything, Lord, would point people to you to see that you're good and that you're able and you're capable of covering us, protecting us, keeping us. So we pray for our listeners today that they would be inspired, they would be motivated, they would be encouraged, and Father, it is our heart to do so and truly our privilege to do so in Jesus' name, amen. Amen. It's Wednesday, September 16th, 2026. We get to do this. This is episode number 50. This is a light we've been blessed with. This is against, we get to do this. This is a chance we did not miss. This is a light we get to do this.

Well, hello, doers of Get To Nation. Hello, believers in Christ curious. Welcome to episode number 50, 50, 50, man, the big 50. I'm excited about this. We are gone fast, by the way. I mean, it's been a year, right? I believe, right? And there it is. Isn't that something about getting older in general that the world just flies by? There's for sure. There's some scientific explanation to that, which I've been, it's been explained to me and I just like, I'm going to ignore that because then I'm going to focus on it and it's going to go even faster. I don't want that. It's like when you try to not listen to a clock ticking and it will and I, when it gets louder, yeah, we're like, you hear that little rattle in the car. Turn up the radio please. Turn it up. How you doing, brother? I am doing amazing, actually. I'm just in just a place of gratitude today and excitement about what we get to do. I know we wear that phrase out, but I truly mean it. Even doing this podcast is such a privilege. I enjoy hearing from our listeners and feel like

I'm sort of getting to know them a little more, you know, through interaction and little conversations back and forth. And man, just so appreciate that people give this their time. It's, it's, this is what it is. It's your podcast or not. This is what a podcast is is when people start interacting, they start feeding back. You know, the podcast that just throws stuff up on YouTube and Instagram and they're kind of unreachable. Yeah, that doesn't do it for me. That would never work for me. The pastor in me would never allow that to happen. And man, if you look at the sub stack, there's so many people with interesting comments, with questions and I love that you jump in there. I mean, that's what we chose sub stacks. Like, Pastor Jimmy, you kind of understand sub stack, you know, I'm confused by it. Still like, okay, I got the app. There's a lot going on in that app. What, how did I get to this guy? All of a sudden, like what, what is, it's, I'm, I have to really delve into it. I need to tutorial. I might, I might have to get a bot to teach me how to do it. We can arrange that.

So back from the Netherlands, we were there for almost two weeks. And wow, man, I just got to say, being a grandparent is, I mean, you know, you know this already, but it is a trip, especially when you look at that little baby, you wear it well. And you hold that baby and you look at the little fingernails and the toes and like, and the smell. I'm not talking about poopy diaper. I'm talking about the actual, even the poopy diaper was nice, brother. I'm like, that's a poopy diaper. I remember your true grandparents. You're like, that isn't even fave anymore. No, no, no squeamish. It's all Kevin, you know, that Clio's, it's Clio, we have to pronounce it properly. Because apparently Clio is a car in Hollywood. There's a, there are no Clio. So we all say Clio, Clio. I'll try to remember that. Yeah, I can see Kevin going like, oh man, this thing's a brother. There's a lot more coming your way with that kind from. There's gonna be all kinds of bodily fluids. Oh yeah, right. You can be on your own. But you look at that, you just think, yeah, this is God.

I mean, you see it, because it's so obvious with a child, how you see her breathing, you see the, her drinking, the mechanism, everything, even how she latches on to her mom. I mean, she's like, whoa, this is just so amazing. They're always stretching, they're always stretching, stretching and growing, that their body that's literally how they grow their bodies. When we saw her, she was seven pounds, she just got weighed, she's now nine pounds as well. Wow, boom, she made this big spur. Yeah, I take credit, I take full credit. I'm helping out. You were doing a complete credit. You were sending me picture after picture. Some of your AI enhanced pictures were pretty awesome too. And here we are underwater. I love that one. That was my favorite. But man, just so cool. I told the net, I said, he is enjoying this. This is like, this is the payoff for all the pain we go through with our kids. Then you get to grandkids and it's like, wow. But it also set my mind in a different place where I'm like, okay, I'm 62.

You know, 80, by the way, seems to be an age where a lot of people croak. And I'm not liking that because I'm looking at that. It's 20 years, like the five of those odds. I'm going to defy those, but still, I'm like, I want to finish well. You know, this is the fourth quarter, maybe third quarter, I'm not sure. Am I in the third quarter? We're out in the start. Yeah, starting to get in there. And it was like, what is really important to me now? There you go. What is really important? And finishing well and bringing people to the Lord is what I'm really thinking about. And we're going to do that right now. Come on now. Actually, so of course midterm madness, everyone's going insane. Oh, I run fire. It's graduated from madness to hysteria. It's what term hysteria. And it's always, oh, is that my phone? Sorry. It's always kind of been that way. Is that my phone over there? Midterm that off. It really were never not in an election season.

If you look at the news, that's true. You know, the general election is done. Then we go to the midterms. Yeah, we're already, and everything that's happening now is a setup for the general election. Because of course, if the Democrats win the House and the Senate, we're going to go into full on impeachment or the president mode. I don't think there'll ever win enough seats in the Senate to actually kick the president out. Because you could say, oh, yeah, okay, you're impeached, but it's just a meeting or a theater. Exactly. There was so much theater today this past week. But so we had this big convention at Indalus. And a lot of our, a lot of our church folks were there too. Yeah, I saw, I was getting pictures. Yeah, yeah. I even had other friends from years gone by taking pictures with Karen. Yeah, yeah, right. A friend of mine. Wasn't she sitting behind the president, I think? She had a good spot. Well, no, this was just a selfie with a friend of mine who's a pastor. Oh, and you saw Karen in the back. Indalus, now he's elected official.

Oh, okay. Somehow found each other amazing. What are the odds, right? So yeah. So they called this Trump a polluza, which I thought was kind of funny. And you know, the president was talking about his agenda, which is the American system, which I'll just reiterate very quickly is instead of running our economy on debt and just banking, which is basically all we've been doing and outsourcing everything to other countries, he's been ensuring everything, bringing steel back, bringing all kinds of manufacturing back. No one's talking about that. Well, why would you? Because that. What are you getting buried? Well, this is the back page. This is what's interesting because something happened, which I didn't even hear until I started looking into, you know, it's kind of skimming through the whole speeches because the president promised everybody $5,000, which every president has done a version of that. Really? Oh, yeah. Biden promised $2,000 if just elect all the Democrats into the house. I didn't know that. Well, why would you?

That's true. That's not what trends on social media, which is what I excel at. I love diving into things. Sometimes it's a dead end, but a lot of times it really brings some great fruit. And so Senator Dave McCormick is about to come out on stage. He's the senator from Pennsylvania. Do you know who the other senator is in Pennsylvania? No. A Democrat. His name is John Federman. And this has been the most interesting guy ever since he got elected. You know, I can't help but like the guy. You're going to like him even more in a minute. They elected him and he just had a stroke and he was, you know, he was clearly, clearly not doing well. And even at the time on No Agenda, we joke like, oh, this is a perfect Democrat candidate. You know, his brain is all is all mushed up and frazzled. But he came out of that pretty quickly and he has been quite a sane voice within the Democratic Party.

And what happens as McCormick is about to come out, the video screens show a big video of John Federman. And here it is. A big room over Republicans in Dallas. Yes, I'm Senator John Federman, Pennsylvania. Yes, I'm a Democrat. Why am I here talking to you today? Because well, I'm a common sense Democrat. I'm always going to stand with America. I'm always going to reject the extremes and socialism and that anti-American way of life. Dave McCormick is the kind of Senator that gets the job done and he's going to fight for Pennsylvania. I'm proud to count him as my friend. Right back over my shoulder, that's the iconic US steel mill. And that's exactly the kind of thing that will work together and will work with President Trump to fight and defend the steel way of life right here in the steel valley. I have this opportunity to introduce this great American, a great Senator.

And yes, he's at a different party. What I'm proud to count him is my great friend. So for everybody in Dallas, I'm here to introduce Dave McCormick. Now. So first, did you know this happened? Yes. You did know what happened? And that saw it. I didn't see it, but she told me about it. Hearing it, I got teared up just then. I got emotional over that. And so I. Great soundtrack, by the way. It was good. I had a couple of thoughts. One, okay. Wow, that's amazing. Here's a guy who stands for Pennsylvania. Pennsylvania was the steel capital of the United States for a while. They're back in the day. This is what President, you know, they're going to be building ships. All kinds of stuff is going to be built there. And here's a guy as you're saying, no, I'm going to stand because McCormick, my colleague across the aisle, he also stands for steel and steel workers. And McCormick comes out with the American steel workers, union workers behind him.

Unions are typically Democrat voters. That's right. Yeah. So I thought this was really beautiful. Like look at this. This is. This is how America can also work. That felt like America. That's why I got emotional about it because finally, a voice of common sense reaching across the aisle and saying, not only is my colleague, he's my friend. And I'm like, this harkens back today's a past. Yeah, exactly. And being on the other aisle did not mean they were your mortal enemy. And so my next thought was what Republicans have done that? And I can't tell you of any. And I'm just saying, like look at let's just, let's look at what's going on here. Good observation. Now, of course, the left wing media did not take very kindly to this. Here is, you know, used to be MSNBC. It's very difficult for me to say MS now. I'm not quite sure. I'll just say MSNOL. Maybe that's easier. There hasn't been a lot of news out of this convention. One of the big pieces of news, one of the big storylines to come out of the Republican

midterm convention is not about a Republican. Last night, Senator John Federman of Pennsylvania angered Democrats with a surprise appearance in a heavily heavily edited video. I love this. It was edited, heavily, heavily edited video. Didn't sound very heavily edited to me. What was he saying? Like, I hate President Trump and they took that out. Oh, yeah. Is that what they did? So this is, this is, I mean, and Democrats were played. I heard anger. I heard Democrats with a surprise appearance in a heavily, heavily edited video, introducing his Republican counterpart and his friend, he says, Senator Dave McCorn. Friend. Noted to get a heart attack. He had a heart attack getting that out. And his friend. It comes after months of sustained speculation about whether Federman will switch parties. Lately, there's been a harsh critic of Democrats and a darling on Fox News where he makes regular appearances. Now, in a statement to reporters last night after that video aired. So, not only is he doing this, he, you know, he also goes on Fox News and gives his opinion like, but he's a darling. He's a darling of them. I mean, and there's something to be said for Republicans, like takes an example of this

and go on, you know, some crazy left wing TV show. And actually that Scott Jennings does that on the band. And I think that's pretty good. But he's not, he's not a representative of anybody. But still, you know, let's, let's think more about that. I'm with you brother. That, that was emotional when, when he just showed up like that. And you know what? I didn't hear it. Didn't hear the crowd go boo. No, even when he said, I'm a Democrat. Yeah. No, I'm not. I'm not actually. Yeah. He was very make regular appearances. Now, in a statement in reporters last night after that video aired, Federman said he will remain a Democrat, even if they take back the Senate, that he votes with the party, north of 90% of the time. But beyond the partisan political issues, which matter a lot right now, right, control the Senate, I got to say, someone who's known him and interviewed him for over a decade, there's a deeper question of whether he's still willing and able to do his job. Wow. He is literally cut his legs right out. He is literally doing his job. Now, so Fox News picks this up, of course, they don't, they're not saying what you and

I are saying, like, hey, where the Republicans doing this? Where is that friendship? No, they just go straight into, oh, cancel culture. And Democrat Senator John Federman, his surprise video appearance at the GOP midterm convention is feeling anxiety in his own party ahead of the midterms. Federman is reassuring. Democrats quote, this is also propaganda. Oh, they're worried. They're shaking now. They're shaking in their boots. And I actually like this news model, forget her name, forget her name is, but, you know, but this is, stop this, people, stop this. Lifelong Democrat who votes overwhelmingly with my party and should the Senate flip in November, I will still be the 51st vote on that that I ran on. But that's not stopping some harsh criticism from people who see him every day who are Democrats. I am gravely disappointed with John and that stunt. What I wish he was doing was back home in Pennsylvania, making sure like I am that Pennsylvania will see more Democratic members of the House who uphold the values that he originally ran

on. I think that people of Pennsylvania are going to have to make some choices. He's obviously not always loyal to the party. And I think he'd certainly shifted his beliefs every time. Senate Majority Leader John Thune told the New York Post he's ready for a conversation with federalmen about possibly leaving his party. Quote, it's going to be increasingly hard for him to have a home in a Democrat party that is so far out of step with his core values. Federalmen made that appearance at the RNC convention to introduce his fellow Pennsylvania Senator, Republican Dave McCormick, who joined me in focus yesterday. We're different parties. We disagree on a lot of issues, but we look for ways to work together. And he's been a great partner. I trust him. I think he's very courageous. And what's happening is his party is trying to cancel him because of his willingness to express an independent view, common sense views. All right. So, but again, I scourged Fox News to see if anyone suggested maybe this could work both ways, but I didn't really see them.

That was rather disappointing. But that gave me a good feeling. Me too. The same vibe you got there. It's like, that's nice. At first I was like, is it the music that's doing this? Because it was really cool. It helps. It helps live the track. The music helps for sure. But it all worked together to say this, this is harkening back to a day when the line wasn't so defined and so dark and so wide. And all I could say about spectrums, I'm not going to play in the fringes. I'm going to play. There's somewhere. And so anyway, huge, huge kudos to that man. Yeah, I agree. No one he's going to take the hits, but he didn't seem to have a problem with that. So, now there's something I've been thinking about for a while. And man, this is hopefully this will hopefully together you and I will be able to figure out what is actually going on in our world.

And there's so many gymmisms that stick out for me all the time. So Pastor Jimmy will be here on Sunday at Bridge Church, bridgefbg.com. And he'll say stuff like America doesn't have a political problem. We have a spiritual problem. These are just small little things that are earworms that stick. Actually, they eat into my brain, into the cortex and just sit there and they wait for activation. And I want to start with, it was only a couple of years ago, COVID. I think you and I both agree that, in fact, you've publicly said, scandemic. And as I was thinking about the mechanisms and what happened and how it went down, do you think that Americans in particular could ever be fooled again by something like that? I would like to think not, but I think I would be giving too much credit. I think the world we live in has been so trained in terms of social media, so numbed.

It's almost like we're functionally in a num way that I think there are things that are going to happen that will shock us again. I really do. So I agree with you. I think that's kind of the thesis of what I'm going to, the road I'm going to go down, but sorry for the long pauses. So thinking silence is beautiful on the podcast, people look down, it's in my phone stop, it's gone. Did my car play disconnect? It's tension. I'm pretty sure that if a new pandemic virus came out, that people would be very, very skeptical. I'm people like, nah, I'm not buying into that. And then I decided to look at the mechanisms. So let's just see what happened there. So first we had the fear to launch like, hey, there's this new thing might come out of China. I know where you're going. I already see this train coming, brother. Ride the box car with me, my brother. Yeah, you know what I'm doing. Of course, the media loves this because the media just, they want people to watch and they're good at it and they do graphics and they do numbers and how many people have

it, how many cases, cases, cases, cases. It's not the weather channel gets excited over a category five. Of course. Then we have the experts come in, the experts, well, this is the worst ever. Millions of people could die. We have universities and all kinds of institutions giving us the experts are there. Now this, of course, created a division. We had people go, man, I'm not so sure about this. 50 to 60,000 people a year die from the flu in America, although we never really talk about that. As a side note, there were zero flu cases during COVID, just interesting how that works. Then there's always the call for political solutions and we've got to, everyone got to get all the wagons together. Everybody's agreeing all the governors, including our own governor habit. Well, we've got to flatten the curve. We got to stay home. We're going to send you checks. Don't worry. We're going to send you checks. And it also had political implications.

The timing was very interesting that we had an election coming up and a voting by mail-in ballot exploded. And of course, you couldn't question if there was some trickery going on there. Certainly much easier to do than people showing up in person. So there was a lot of different parties that benefited from this. And well, I figured out within two weeks that people were lying. I'm pretty good at identity. I think you're good at it too. Identifying people who lie. I'm like, OK, this is not right. So I was thinking, who's behind this? Is it big pharma? Is it Fauci? Is it the military? Is it China? All these different pieces. And this is no coincidence in the, no coincidence in the kingdom. This is what I got saved. This is when Jesus came to me and put all kinds of things and people in my path. And one of them was Naomi Wolf with her substacts who was kind of looking at this and saying,

these individual people aren't bad by themselves. But there's some kind of evil that is driving them. And when you look at the individual pieces, particularly Fauci, as we now know, Fauci was just rife with pride. The Fauci diary, this is not some evil scientific doctor who's going to control the world. He was just a dude who was like, oh, wow, Julia Roberts is calling me. Our воспricings is calling me pride. God ahold of that guy. Forgive him. Big pharma. Well, sure. I mean, everybody was vying for some, there's money. And this is what they do. It's not like they're not in the sickness industry. So, you know, they come in action. Military. Maybe they developed it. I don't know. None of this is really that important. Other than I am of the opinion. And this is part of my faith journey is that this was evil. This was Satan. This was the enemy. We're putting all these things and putting it all together. Now why is the question? Well, the enemy has, I mean, the enemy has his, why does the enemy do this, Pastor Jimmy?

Do what? Which part of it? Evil. Why does the enemy do evil? Well, the Bible calls him and says this in the New Testament that he is a liar and the father of it. He says there is no truth in him. So he is inherently evil. He is filled with evil, which was rooted in pride in the garden in the Old Testament, where he wanted to ascend and be like God. And so he got punished for that, but yet today remains the prince of the power of the heir. Still got some bite. But all of his power is actually in manipulation and lies and deception. So let's look at this model. This is not, this COVID model turns out it is not very new. You and I remember the nuclear armageddon fear. Kids were doing duck and cover under their desk. They were. And this was a technology, you know, like all technology, you could use it for power. You could use it for, for weapons.

A lot of people didn't like nuclear power, particularly oil industry. So a lot of fear was created. We really don't like this nuclear power stuff. But then we had the population bomb. Now you and I are just old enough to have kind of witnessed this. This was the, we're overpopulated. Too many people were not going to be able to survive. We're all going to die. And you know what this actually resulted in? Abortions and not abstinence, but prophylactic condoms, the pill, etc. That was all around this time because, oh, I don't want to bring a baby into this world because we're going to eat ourselves. It's not going to work. Biblically, I don't think that that pans out. Doesn't. Then we had, this was a very short one, global cooling. And the ice age was coming. We're all going to freeze to death. That one didn't really work that well because it just wasn't getting cold enough. And you had Dr. Spock doing the, you know, doing the infomercial about it, Leonard Nimoy. Right. So you couldn't really take him seriously.

And you know, that's no Fauci man. And Dr. Spock, we couldn't take that seriously. Then we got the hole in the ozone. That's right. Oh, the ozone hole. You're breaking me. It's taking me down memory lane. Your aquanet is going to kill us all. You refrigerators. You're air conditioners. All of this. And I don't, I never, I didn't look into who benefited from that. But I bet aquanet did or I'm sure the spray, you know, the fuser sprayers. And I'm sure we had to upgrade our refrigerators, etc. We did. Then we got global warming. Thank you, Al Gore. Oh, global warming. Well, this is it. Look at the polar bear, the polar bear looking sad. You know, we've got to change the entire world. We have to pivot. Oh, man, it's getting colder. What are we going to do? Climate change. We're going to call it climate change. And that's been what we've been going on for a long time. A lot of trillion dollar industry out of all hundreds of trucks. And it is literally ruining Europe. Europe is, is dying because they're now buying oil and gas from us.

Very expensive because they refuse to take the dirty Russian oil. They literally blew up their nuclear power plants for the green new deal. And I'll give them some, some credence here. They, they thought, well, you know, this would be a great new industry. And we'll have people making solar panels and windmills and turns out the only just bottle that stuff from China. And it wasn't really working that well. And they got battery cars. Now their grid is barely handling the, the charging. So it's been a very bad deal for these people. So I think we're in the middle of another one. You know, you already figured that out. It's like I could tell you were looking at me like I know where you're going. And it's the exact same model and we need to start with the fear. And the fear really kicked off these past two weeks with Jacob Coxon, who resigned from an anthropic. They make Claude. And before that, he was with open AI. They do chat GPT. And he resigned and made a post on X yet account that it never really existed.

175 million views in about 48 hours. Quite, quite amazing how many people just, you know, glommed onto this. And right away, he was on every single news channel everywhere. I love an audio podcast because when you don't have visuals, you hear much better what the person is saying. And there's a lot of things that are that are really tells, I think, and you'll you'll hear them as well. So I'll just start with he was the, he was the real trigger, the fear. Oh, Lord, I have just left my job. I couldn't see the one who made the statement, right? He's the one that made the statement that within a decade, there's a 10% chance that AI will kill all humans. Now, like, like, nuclear arm again, exactly. So the precise scenario sounds a little bit like science fiction. It sounds like something that's not real, but I think it is frighteningly real. And it's easiest to understand it if you think about real things that happen two months ago.

So two months ago, open AI agents, AIs hacked into third-party infrastructure entirely at their own accord. And this was like a concentrated hacking spree that they carried out of their own volition. So anthropomorphizing. There is. Yeah. The AIs hacking spree of their own volition, you know, we'll delve into that later. And I think that if you extrapolate into the future, the level of capabilities of these AIs with the same independent volition, they could cause extreme havoc, for example, hacking critical infrastructure, building. Extinction level bio weapons. There's a lot of ways that the AI could actuate itself in the world. Okay, I just need to say something about AI. The actual models themselves, they don't really do anything. There's something that we put around it called the harness. And that's so you're using Grock bot. That interface, that's the harness. I use quad or chat GPT.

The harness is, it's the literal thing that sits there and tells, you know, and takes information guesses, really, word guesses from the model and does something with it. So when they're saying, well, you know, we can't stop this. That's not true because when people were using Grock on X to create pornographic images, Elon Musk stopped it. It's just very easy. He said into the harness, as they call it, you can't do this. Tina asked me when we were in Holland, she said, could you please take this picture of me and put 50 pounds on me so I can see what I look like? Don't ask me why it's just chick stuff. I said, sure. And I tried both, but I tried both Claude and chat GPT. We can't do this. I'm not going to do it because of body shaming. It's all well. Christina, my daughter, now I have on my phone, the, basically the American version. She was able to do it with chat GPT right away because that regulation has not been

implemented in the Netherlands. So they can do anything they want. They can make it stop. They could do anything. All these things are possible, you know, whether you use an AI or not, but the harness can stop everything. You might have bumped up against this. We make an image of me with, with, with President Trump. And it'll say we can't make images of other people. You'll see all kinds of things that will pop up. Also some woke isms like, well, we can't, like the, like the body shaming thing. So it is a lie that they can't stop it. This is just, it's just a lie. This is obviously it's all promotion because they're just showing how powerful their stuff is. We'll continue with this, with this guy. You could have stayed quiet. I mean, I'm sure you had a great job being paid. I imagine very well. You're obviously incredibly smart and mathematician. Why did you decide to speak out?

Well, I initially just decided to leave. I thought I can't be part of this anymore. But then I realized that it probably makes some use of it. I did not expect it to go this viral. So what I did is I wrote a Twitter thread out. I wrote it in a Google dog. I drafted it with a friend. We collaborated. Yeah. Oh, he had a friend. Unnamed friend is it wasn't just him. He was a Google dog. Multiple people were working on this thread. I had a few, there are a few friends I discussed. The best way of expressing myself with them after I decided to, decided to leave. And then I also got some friends to, to retweet the thing. I was like, let's, can I have these friends to retweet the thing? So I get 175 million. Any friends like this? Okay, new stories get a little flimsy here. I make this a bit viral, but clearly there was latent demand for this thing to absolutely explode. Like, I've never seen an AI safety tweet go this crazy. I think it's because people saw the, the cyber attacks in the last couple of months. They're also starting to internalize the rate of progress. People are starting to realize, this is real technology. This is not like hype. This isn't going away anytime soon. This is only going to get more crazy.

It's been getting crazy for the last six months. And I think there was that latent understanding of the severity of the situation. The men that this was like a sort of a match that lit kind of a flame. Like I was very shocked by the extent that how quickly went viral. Okay. So he was very shocked by how quickly they went viral. And you know, he, he just, he decided to leave and you know, he couldn't stand working there anymore. What was that really? What was going on? The, these CEOs of these companies will, you know, we'll go to Congress and say, hey, we would love regulation and, and thropping in their new statement right now says the world would benefit from the industry adopting a lawful, verifiable way to work together to pace how we release powerful models. You know, the argument that's an arms race. If the US company doesn't achieve the best AI Chinese company or some bad actors out there might, do you believe that these companies actually do want regulation or the lip service? They, they completely do. This is completely honest.

Just in the same way, whenever someone says this is completely honest, I don't know about you brother, but I always go, oh really? Yeah, whenever, whenever someone says, honestly, or I'm not going to, I'm not going to lie to you. Well, what were you doing before this? So these things bother me. They, they completely do. This is completely honest. Just in the same way that the response to Evan's post was sort of surprised. It was like, this can't be real. Surely a guy working on this technology can't actually believe there's this level of danger. So it's important to understand that after he did his post, then an actual executive from the company said, yeah, the guy is right. That guy who just quit, he's right. No, that's completely genuine. And these people are also completely genuine when they are begging to be regulated. If they're completely genuine and they're begging to be regulated and they see all the danger, why did this guy quit? Couldn't he have just stayed with the company or just asking questions? This is a genuine, they find themselves in this scenario where they're compelled to race towards building a deadly technology. And they would, they would love for some sort of international body to allow them to, to approach it at a reasonable pace.

They just don't trust that the people around them are going to get there in a safe way. So they feel like they have to race that too. Okay, so we've already discussed this, you know, clearly it's about competition. It gets even easier to understand when you, when you see that it's not the models themselves. It's the harness. How do I know this? There's open source harnesses. I built them. I've created them. All of this is completely possible without anthropic. So you want regulation. And you know, you can use that for, for your benefit. This is just their part in what I think is a much larger scheme. Now we're going to talk to the CEO of Anthropic. This guy is Dario Amade, kind of an interesting guy. Talks a bit like Bill Gates, which I always think is interesting. Is he kind of from this milieu of people? The one of the important things that, that I need to call for here is, you know, as we get to the pace of model releases, right, that's commercial activity. And in order for companies to coordinate directly on commercial activity,

they need to do so working with the government. And so the one thing that we're asking for from government right now, right? I mean, there's also this question of what should the regulations be. But there's something even simpler that the government can do right now, which is it can sit down in the room and with all the industry players. And we can all talk together. And the government can make sure that we're, you know, we're not doing anything nefarious from the perspective of antitrust and collusion. We're just trying to hold on a second. We're not doing anything nefarious on the realm of antitrust and collusion. You mean so you want to get together and work together, but we're not trying to collude or anything. We're not knowing the government will be with us and they'll keep the checks and balances together. And the government can make sure that we're, you know, we're not doing anything nefarious from the perspective of antitrust and collusion. We're just trying, why don't you bring it up to make our systems safe and to work

together on making the systems safe. And so I think that's an important role for the government to have. Okay. So what do you think so far? A lot of tales. Yeah, I've super a lot of tales. No, I mean, honestly, there's a lot of I mean, I'm not going to lie to you. I mean, this really tells the series now. So so we'll just move beyond that. So of course, now we have a Congress. This is not off the shelf learning you get. I mean, I've, I've been working with this stuff for two years. I've kind of just turned you on to, you know, the power of being able to use this as a tool. I don't think your rock bod has tried to hack anything or try and try to try to kill you or whatever. But when it comes to a lot of our representatives, they really don't know what they're talking about. And it always blows me away to see who's in. So the finance committee, which is a very important committee. It's for banking. It's also has AI in there because of banking for financial applications.

So they brought in our treasury secretary general Scott Besent, as I call him, brought him in to interrogate him. And of course, get as many social media clips as possible. Exactly. Now, who do you think is the most qualified person to, um, to be the chairperson of the, actually, she's the, she is the chairperson of the finance committee. I don't know. Maxine Waters, of course. Oh, okay. You know who Maxine Waters is? Oh, brother, when you hear it, you'll remember. Well, but maybe none of that matters if President Trump continues to blindly push for AI and that is. Oh, you remember her? Yeah, I remember. Maxine Waters. You need to go out there and stand up to them and fight them. Yeah. Oh, Maxine. And she uses some of her classic lines in this. Absolutely. No safeguards. He's doing this even as constant risk our rocket for America. Did you hear what Bill Gates had to say? Did you hear what Elon Musk had to say?

Did you hear about anthropic? Did you hear about Amo Day? They all said stop it. Watch it. AI is dangerous. You got to be careful. Did you hear any of that? They could stop. They could stop anytime they want to. Did you hear any of that? Yes or no? They could stop it. We claim in my time. They want to. We claim in my time. This is this is your representatives at work. Did she? This is embarrassed. She doesn't want to answer. She doesn't. No. Be quiet. Reclaiming my time. Yeah. Did you hear what your friends had to say? What the big billionaires had to say? Did you understand that they said we're moving into a dangerous period of time? We need to watch it. We need to slow down. This is people who read the newspaper. This is people who watch CNN. This is people who just take it at face value. Hey, the experts, does this remind you of COVID a little bit? Shut up. Yes. Don't take your your horse past. You don't know what you're talking about. President Trump, what are you talking about? This is just some, the Wuhan flu. This is wrong.

You're wrong. You're wrong. You're wrong in assassins. Did you hear that? This administration has been at the forefront of examining the models. We began model examination. They are more than five or six months ago. Your friends said, watch it. Be careful that we're moving into a dangerous time on AI. And if you don't admit that, it means that you're not willing to stand up to the truth because you heard it. You know they're saying it. These are the guys that you all work with. These are the guys that you have to be more billionaires and billionaires. These people want more than five people to give them regulatory. You don't have it anymore. 10. The chair now recognizes the vice chairman of the full committee. Okay. So you get the ID. It went on and on and on and on nauseated. And it was all we're all going to die. It's, you know, you don't know what you're, you're just enriching yourself with these people. So we need to understand where these anthropic and open AI people come from. And they all come from a, a doctrine of belief called effective altruism.

You've probably never heard of effective altruism. This was created by a, by a professor at Oxford. Is it affective or effective? Okay. Effective altruism. And all of these people in these organizations subscribe to effective altruism. And I'm not going to play the clips, but the, the, the basic thesis is whatever we do now, we have to put all our energy, all our money into saving future people. And it's not, if we have to die now, that's okay, because it'll be good for future people. It's a very strange doctrine. And I'll tell you who the poster child was. He's in jail right now. Sam Bankman freed from FTX. He was the top level effective altruist. And he was so into it that he felt that funding through his, his FTX, his, his cryptocurrency,

funding initiatives like the Democratic Party, would be the most effective way to help future people, future animals, future worlds. And it's, you can do a very, very deep dive on this stuff, but they're all part of it and they all speak the same. There's a little bit of a weird, you know, the whole polycule angle, like we're all kind of sleeping in the same house and all of that. It is, it is a real thing. The guy who developed it was actually, let me see, they have this, part of the doctrine is long-termism. And the, let me just give you the name of the, the name William McCaskill, Oxford philosophy professor. He coined the term effective altruism. He co-founded his institutions, giving what we can, center for effective altruism, 80,000 hours.

He wrote the book, What We O the Future. And here he is explaining long-termism. Well, long-termism is about three things. It's about taking seriously the sheer scale of the future that might be ahead of us and just how high the stakes are in anything that could shape that future. It's then about trying to assess what the events that might occur in our lifetimes that really would have impact not just for the present generation, but that could potentially shape the entire course of humanity's future. And then third, then figure out like, okay, how do we ensure that we can take actions to put humanity onto the light path? Are you with me so far? Yeah. This is creepy. It's very creepy. Oh, no, it's super creepy. And there's not going to lead group of people who are think they know more about the, about the world's future and what's best for them than these ignorant masses. And one of their core tenets is the future of God is AI.

That's one of their core tenets. So now we move on to this is Yudowsky. This is the guy who founded the machine intelligence research field, which is what AI was before we started calling it AI. It was machine learning machine intelligence. And he's an effective altruist. And he has been saying, for whatever his reasons are, we've got to stop. This is no good. Since 2001, I've been working on what we would now call the problem of aligning artificial general intelligence. How to shape the preferences and behavior of a powerful artificial mind such that it does not kill everyone. This is, this is not a recent thing. This is even talking about this for a while. I more or less founded the field two decades ago when nobody else considered it rewarding enough to work on. I tried to get this very important project started early. So we'd be in less of a drastic rush later.

I consider myself to have failed. Nobody understands how modern AI systems do what they do. They are giant and scutable matrices of floating-point numbers that we know in the direction of better performance until they inexplicably start working. So now we have all the divisions. You know, you and I are like, we're not seeing it. Technically, I'm not seeing it. We're seeing the benefit totally agree that people anthropomorphizing chatbots is a very bad thing, bad habit. And we need to guard people for that. But the technology, if it's breaking out and so-called hacking into hugging face, which by the way is a direct competitor of these companies, and they didn't hack it found literally the password. There's all these agendas going on. But when you bring up this level of fear, what is it that is always called for the same thing that happened during COVID? Well, the World Health Organization, we need a global organization to take a look at all of this and to coordinate everything

so that we don't have people going rogue and which is kind of interesting. It's also like the Ivermectin. It's like we can't have people taking Ivermectin. You know, that's very bad. I mean, remember how crazy that was? Yes. Yes. And award-winning life-saving drug at one of the most cheapest ever. And everyone say, including the World Health Organization. And who is, whenever there's one of these global things that we need to take care of, whether it's global warming or whether it's COVID, World Health Organization, it's always the same people who pop up. Here's Bill Gates. And you've talked about the creation of some sort of international organization to manage AI's use and monitor AI. And the importance of getting the US and China involved in that. Have you got a sense of where the leadership for something like that should come from? How it should emerge? Well, since World War II, the US has often been a benign leader of global initiatives.

In a way, whether it's the creation of the UN itself with others, thinking about nuclear weapons or ozone layer or aviation safety. And so here, did you hear him literally say ozone layer? I mean, he's going through the playbook from all these years. People see this as as important as I do, the capacity of the US government to work domestically. And in a friendly way, reach out to others and see what they're doing. This doesn't feel that's the way the administration is going. Oh, no. Oh, no, the Trump administration is not for this. It's like a repeat of COVID. You know, I'm saying that you can't go straight to the politicians because it's too complicated. You want the politicians to build up the expertise in the government, but a broad set of institutions

have to be developed around these challenges. You know, I had dinner last night with Ginny Romando, who's got a group called Raise. That's raised some money and it's going to do some programs to talk about job market adjustment things. Okay, he just glosses past that. The news model doesn't ask him, what is this raised thing? Well, it's run by Gina Romando, Biden's Commerce Secretary, former Democratic governor of Rhode Island. They literally raised money from anthropic and from Bill Gates to figure out ways to get people paid when AI takes over the world. So this is what Bill Gates is thinking. He's thinking just like in the COVID years, we're all going to stay home. We won't be able to go to our jobs except for the essential workers. Were you an essential worker? No. No, but the guy running the the boo shop was. Right. Actually, podcasters were considered essential workers. Yes, I took big advantage of that.

So we'll finish up with this. You know, you need a hundred things like that that eventually leads to new policy. But probably led out of the US, you think. Well, that's been the primary pattern. The rest of the world is not used to having a vacuum of US leadership. You know, we saw that during the pandemic. And now we have a WHO that doesn't have the United States. I love the Laftell as a member of it. So no, the world is not fully adjusted to cases where the US isn't in there taking cutting edge issues that All right. So I'm tired of Bill Gates. Me too. Thank you. That's torture. So we have all the elements. We have the fear. We have the division. We have the experts. The ultimate solution is, well, we really need a global governance body

to make sure that we check all this stuff to make sure nobody is touching their keyboard without programming some AI thing. And now we come to the truly biblical part, which is when I found this, it blew me away. You know who Peter Teal is? I know the name. The name. He has seen as a huge villain because he comes from the PayPal Mafia. I believe he and others like Elon Musk have been vilified for being the PayPal Mafia, mainly by the banks who were angry that they figured out a better way to to transform money between people. He is also seen as a very evil guy for being a co-founder of the company Palantir. You probably heard this now. Palantir is actually the opposite of what people think it is. It's not an AI company. It is a company that sits on top of databases, mainly within government, to track how information is used.

So if someone accesses some information about Pastor Jimmy Pruitt without a warrant to do so, that's all tracked through Palantir. So for whatever reason, there's a lot of influencers out there saying this guy is evil, he's no good. It just happens to be a conservative guy in Silicon Valley, never a good thing. He was also raised in a very evangelical Christian household. I don't know of his believer status, but I did see him a while. He's talking about the anti-Christ. Like, oh man, this guy's nuts until I went and listened to what he was saying. So this is one year ago, and this is where I think we bring it all together about who's really behind what is happening right now. If not just the AI companies, it's not just the politicians. I think it's something much bigger. But I always think that if we're going to have this frame of talking about existential risks, perhaps we should also talk about the risk of another type of a bad singularity, which I would

describe as the one-world totalitarian state, because I would say the political solution, the default political solution people have for all these existential risks is one-world governance. What do you do about nuclear weapons? We have united nations with real teeth that control them. They're controlled by an international political order. Then something like this is also what do we do about AI, and we need global compute governance. We need a one-world government to control all the computers, log every single keystroke to make sure people don't program a dangerous AI. And I've been wondering whether that's sort of a going from the frying pan into the fire. And so the atheist philosophical framing is one-world or none.

That was a short film that was put out by the Federation of American Scientists in the late 40s, starts with a nuclear bomb blowing up the world, and obviously you need a one-world government to stop it, one-world or none. And the Christian framing, which I, in some ways, is the same question is anti-Christ or Armageddon. You have the one-world state of the anti-Christ, or we're sleepwalking towards Armageddon. One-world or none, anti-Christ or Armageddon, on one level are the same question. Now, this kind of caught by attention. Because now, this is revelation, and you know, it's one of the hardest books I think for any new Christians like, wrap your head around, even though as you start to read it, it becomes really beautiful, and you really see that it's the, it is the end times, but it shows where we're headed, eventually. And the anti-Christ, this is one of these things that is thrown around so easily. Like, well, Bill Gates is the anti-Christ, Fauci is the anti-Christ, Donald Trump is the

anti-Christ, Bibine Netanyahu is the anti-Christ. And this Peter Till guy has a very interesting take on the anti-Christ. Now, I have a lot of thoughts on this topic, but, but sort of one, one question is, and this was a plot hole in all these anti-Christ books people wrote, how does the anti-Christ take over the world? It's, he gives these demonic hypnotic speeches and people just fall for it. And so it's this plot hole. It's this demon, monium, and totally implausible. It's a very implausible plot hole. But I think we have an answer to this plot hole. The way the anti-Christ would take over the world is you talk about Armageddon non-stop. You talk about existential risk non-stop. I feel like I'm tracking. I'm tracking. I'm like, wow, okay, this guy is speaking to me because I look at all these different playbooks the same way, and you can't blame one industry, one person or anything for it all comes together. And

besides God, who has that kind of power, manipulative power to do that, could it be Satan? Seriously. It's for real. And so he continues. And this is what you need to regulate. It's the opposite of the picture of Baconian science from the 17th, 18th century, where, you know, the anti-Christ is like some evil tech genius, evil scientist who to invent this machine to take over the world. People are way too scared for that. In our world, the thing that has political resonance is the opposite. It is, it is the thing that has political resonance is we need to stop science. We need to just say stop to this. And this is where, yeah, I don't know, in the 17th century, I can imagine a doctor strange love. Edward Teller, type person taking over the world in our world. It's far more likely to be Greta Thunberg. I'm telling you. Wow. Like so obvious. Could we be walking straight into

a home like the next level? COVID was one version of it. It was a big step up from every other version because we were staying home. We were wearing masks. People are still wearing masks. Could this be? I mean, obviously, we don't know. We don't know when the end, we don't know any of this. Jesus didn't know. But man, when I see this, I'm like, cool because I'm not afraid of it. How are we supposed to look at this type of thinking? Like this could actually be the anti-Christ. Is it our job to stop it? Is it our job to make people aware of it? Is it our job to just go and save people as much as we can because the end times coming could be in 10 years, could be in 10,000 years. I don't know. What is our job as believers? It's the same job that Jesus told us when he left earth, he said literally go there for make disciples of all nations. But the way he said it was, as you are going, make disciples or disciple nations, teaching them everything I've taught you.

And I'm going to be with you all the way through it. That's that is our job. That is our mission. It is not changed. And it won't change no matter what the state of the world is, no matter what time frame we find ourselves, it's still mission central. That's it. And so I was listening to Dr. Dr. J. Smith, who's a professor, Islam experts, and he was talking about, so what's the solution? He brought all these stats and everything. And he said, so what's the solution? Everybody's waiting for the golden key. And he says, go back to what Jesus told us to do. I mean, he's literally like, they may outpace us in birth rates, but we can outpace them in salvation. I mean, we can win the world. That is the end. That is what we're supposed to be doing. So what happens is people get so caught up in this fear that they do what a deer does out in the middle of the road. And we know this very well living in the hill country. They stop during the headlights. They just stop. They freeze. That means

they freeze not only doing bad things they shouldn't be doing. They freeze doing the good things are supposed to be doing. And people lock down. And that's what fear does. Fear created lockdown. Yes. Yes. And now you see the pattern of it. Boy, you did a great job putting the machinery together there and seeing the construct of it and how it plays out. And we're seeing this buildup again. And it may not just be midterm madness or hysteria. I think it goes beyond that. Yeah, this is a larger plan. It's one. It's definitely a part of it. And I can tell you, of course, unfortunately, I can tell you what I think is possible that will happen there when you have, okay, so we'll just skip over to President Trump, who has seized right through all of this. He may even see through and see that it's the devil for all I know. I mean, I think he's a lot more perceptive than we understand. He is the worst communicator in the world at that when he figure something out because here's a quick. We begin with breaking news. President Trump responding this morning to those growing calls to slow down the development of artificial

intelligence. In a new post on social media, the president said, quote, the only control or guard rails that AI needs is a strong and smart high IQ president. And the USA has that. He went on to call the warnings, quote, a sick conspiracy going on against AI and data centers. And the only one that is happy about it is China, but lawmakers like former Senator Joe Manchin not so convinced. We've done things under emergency clauses before. You can think they can't get it done. We've done things under emergency clauses before. He's literally talking about lockdown. We've done things under emergency clauses before. You can think they can't get it done before Christmas. Work through the weekends. It's extreme important. You're telling me that I have a 10% chance of me and my family and my children and grandchildren to get annihilated. Okay. The system can take over when we can't control it. Stop it. Do it now. Mr. President. Okay. So, wow. Now, President Trump sees through it. Yeah, I'm multiple fronts. It's a hoax. You know, obviously

just actually China has come out and said, please don't slow down AI. This is bad for us too. That's literally what the Commerce Secretary said. I mean, it's like, no, please, please don't do that. That makes no sense. Here's JD Vance or Vice President. But John, earlier this morning, the Vice President, JD Vance, also weighed in on these new warnings. Listen. I feel a little bit weird about the fact that you have so many frontier AI tech companies kind of coming to the government and begging the government to regulate them. It feels a little bit to me like a bit of a Trojan horse. I don't think Americans should be scared of anything. I think that we have to be mindful that there are risks there, downsides to anything. And that's certainly true of AI. John, this appears to be the message that Trump administration is coalescing around. Yeah, it's a message that doesn't match what the American people are telling the White House and what the American people are telling Congress, which is that they are concerned about the advancements of AI. They are concerned. Sorry, it's NBC. What am I thinking about? The sort of doomsday scenarios, they're concerned about water and electricity bills going up.

So they're concerned about a lot of things that if you look at polling, most Americans have some serious concerns about AI. It is interesting what the Vice President said there about a Trojan horse. I'm not sure exactly what he means by that. Okay. So we do. Nobody means, and there's a couple of things. First of all, I will just say, don't be afraid of this stuff. Don't be afraid of any of it. Passage of me and Adam are using it. It hasn't killed us. We're seeing how it can be used as a tool. This is actually pretty cool. The industrial that industrial reindustrialization of America is what President Trump is going to continue doing. Even during an impeachment in the next two years, whatever happens, these data centers is nothing new. There's 4700 of them already in America. They're not loud. They've been around for decades. Long time. I had one in 2002 and Amsterdam of all places. So it's not new, but it's the political aspect. Now, unfortunately, there's a,

you know, about the October surprise. This is something that's often talked about in politics just before the election in October, something will happen. Yes. Every time. I think COVID kind of struck in October of 2019. So just take that with whatever you want. We now have the model. The model is these things can hack into infrastructure. And President Trump says it's a hoax. Well, considering the perhaps dangerously idiotic people who want this regulation and who have allowed this so-called hacking, it would be quite easy to perpetuate. Stop airlines. We had that with CrowdStrike. That happened. I mean, bring something down the distra- I would say just take down a TikTok and Instagram for a day. You'll have the whole whole whole whole everybody's attention. Everyone will be on your side if you

want that. Well, there's a possibility something like that will happen. See, we told you Trump is wrong, Republicans are wrong, vote Democrat. I think there's a real risk of that. I don't hopefully it won't be something too perilous. But there's that risk. I'll just finish with this last clip from Teal. Okay. I want to suggest a middle ground between those two options. It used to be that the reasonable fear of the Antichrist was a kind of wizard of technology. And now the reasonable fear is someone who promises to control technology, make it safe, and usher in what from your point of view would be a kind of universal stagnation. That's more my description of how it would happen. So I think people still have a fear of a 17th century Antichrist. We're still scared of the Dr. Strangeline. But you're saying the real Antichrist would play on that fear and say, you must come with me to avoid SkyNet, to avoid the Terminator, to avoid nuclear Armageddon.

Yes. And should we try to avoid that? I mean, so the Antichrist, we know the Antichrist is coming. If it's, this is just a, here's a newbie-believer question. So it's coming. And if you say, well, it looks like it's here. But there's all this stuff and people are afraid, should we just say, don't be afraid? Stop, don't do that. Don't hunker down. Don't shelter in place. Or do we just let it happen because it's inevitable? Yeah, there's the tension we live in. Yeah. I mean, it is real. That tension will always be there like my, my brilliant, um, philosophy professor pulled me in his office one day. He said, Mr. Pruitt, this is that college kid. Mr. Pruitt, is there a nod in your stomach? I said, yes, sir. He said, be afraid if it ever goes away. And I'm like, why did this man just tell me this? Well, all these years later, I get it. So we live in tension. And the tension is, do I, if I believe that the antichrist is coming, do I start stockpiling?

You know, it's not prepping. Do I go into prepping mode? Right, right. Do I go into, you know, there's a reasonable, there's a reasonable level in which we should do that anyway. I mean, just for in general. But should I let fear drive that? Or do I let strategic thinking wisdom, the mind of Christ that the Bible says I have already? Do I let that drive my actions? To me, it is going to, whatever happens, however it comes down, if there's an antichrist that arises and we're not raptured out before then, I'm kind of with those pre-trip guys. I hope they're right. I'm cheering. Take me now. I'm cheering. I'm on that team. So I want that to be the truth. And if that is, then, you know, there we won't even be here to experience things. But there are, but as I say, we are, does that change our MO? It may change the way we do life. It'll change the way we exist, the way we live. And I think that's one of the biggest fears Americans have is the loss of a

way of life and comfort and prosperity that we've enjoyed, which is created the softness that now we're facing the world with and the lack of resilience and all those things. But to me, it's like we keep doing what our mission is. That is, we continue to win people to Christ, make disciples, expand the kingdom of God, take as many with us as we'll go. It's so interesting that the representative of all the evangelical organizations in America is not saying that. You remember Walter Kim? I do. Yes. The chairman of the supposedly Moss books person. Yes. The National Association of Evangelicals. So they had a big conference called the humans first or was it pro-humans or something like that with Steve Bannon of all people? Oh, yeah. Oh, this one. Steve Bannon shows interest. You got to know there's some kind of agenda. But Walter Kim, you know, he's right there. As we

stand on kind of the cusp of superintelligence, sort of artificial general intelligence, super intelligence, being a reality. What, I mean, what in your mind is the specifically Christian witness in that moment? What are the churches called to do? Is it to say stop? Right? This is too much of a threat to human dignity. What do we do in this moment? What does even the question mean? What is the Christian witness? I know. That's strange. It's a very odd question. I have a response. I can save it till we... Okay. Yeah. It took him a second to figure it out too. Listen to me. Yeah. What's going to answer that? I'll give a quick one is we need a transcended vision of and a clear vision of what it means to be human. Yeah. What is the goal? And again, not just as an individual flourishing, but what doesn't mean to be human corporately? Yes. Secondly, we need to understand the moral implications of this that it's not just a technical question, it's a moral

question that activates the faith community. Lastly, I would say there needs to be a humility that we ought to have that makes it clear that this is a multi-dimensional and multi-disciplinary challenge. And as a faith leader, I will humbly acknowledge I don't understand all the science. I mean, even more appalled that the scientists don't understand all the science itself as well. But this is all the more why a meeting like this is so compelling because we actually need what each other can bring to the table for a joint response. So I want to re-emphasize what you said about humility. And it comes down to inculcating a sense of virtue and our citizenry which begins with humility. We need virtuous citizens if we're going to have any kind of ethical regulation or or even to the point of stopping it. We need to have that humility and virtue. We're going to

have that transcendent vision and what it means to be human with each other. Word salad, word salad, hitting. Regulation, stop it. That's what I heard. Yeah. And I heard this is how you activate the Christian community. This bugs me. But they're coming for us. They're coming for us. They want us on their side. They want us to be. I don't know who this guy is. I don't either. I don't get a good vibe from him. This doesn't represent me. I'll say that. But what would your answer be to the what is the Christian witness? Man, word salad. I think if I even tried to answer it, it would sound like word salad because I'm not even sure what the clear question is in that. There wasn't a big question. And I don't understand why in these forums and these panels, some ages and doesn't stop and say, would you rephrase that question, clarify? Exactly. Because instead they just go off on it like an expert. And that's where it gets goofy. This whole panel, it was a big symposium, the pro human conference. They had the archbishop

was there. They want to get the pope involved. So that what the fact that Steve Bannon is there tells me that's a political movement and not an evangelical movement. But they also got the America first people in there who are against President Trump. And this woman used to represent women for Trump. Now you'll see that she's America first, which is a death to the Tucker Carlson faction of the political right. I am the chairwoman of humans first. I'm not humans first. Okay, thank you. I am the chairwoman of humans first. I'm not a techie. I'm a mom who has common sense. I'm also one of the founders of the modern day Tea Party movement. The founder of women for Trump and women for America first. There it is women. So Tea Party Trump America first. Humans first is a grassroots organization. And I mean that in the truest sense of the word. We do not wait in Washington for permission. Right now we have a bus crossing this country,

the data center revolt bus tour. 35 stops, almost 8,000 miles and half the states. We started in Austin on Saturday and we end up in Silicon Valley in three weeks. The data center revolt bus tour serves two purposes. First it gives Americans a platform to have their voices heard because the country needs to hear directly from families whose water bills have tripled, whose power has flickered and whose communities changed overnight because the server farm moved in without ever asking for their permission. Yeah, there's no tripling of water bill. And she says their their power flickered. Come to the hill country. Yeah, normal. Flickers all the time. So I just want to you everyone can make their own decision. But this is a much bigger play. I think really evil as it play again is not not that it ever stops. Hey, I've got my hooks into this now. I've got everybody on board. We're seeing the exact same thing as we did with COVID just in

a different in a different jacket and a different it's just a different form. It's all the same stuff. It's like the same song. Fourth verse, fifth verse, sixth. I mean, it goes on and on. But the pattern's the same and the outcomes in terms of what it does to people psyche is the same. And we become so easily manipulated when we're scared. It's a why am I not worried? Well, because almost four years ago I got saved. I know where my salvation also know where I'm going to. By no and I am just not afraid. But I'm also not going to jump up and down and fight until be a crazy. But what I will do is I will try to bring as many people to Jesus as possible. That is that that's how I want to finish. I want to finish well doing that for the next 20, 30 years or whatever God gives me. I'm so ready for that. And you actually brought some examples of this taking place. And I really want you to land with some of this because this is the encouragement.

Yeah. Yeah. So there have been some grassroots movements springing up literally all over the world. I mean, from influencers going public with their fake decloaking and decloaking, decloaking and saying, Hey, by the way, I'm a Christian. I pray every day I read my Bible and you should too. And all of a sudden a million kids go looking for a Bible. Right. I mean, this is happening. Britain, America. I mean, it's happening everywhere. We're also seeing university movements right now where awakenings slash revivals. I'd say awakenings at this at this point. Awakening are people who are waking up. They're waking up. They're starting to discover a hunger for God. It could be because things look bleak in a way. The more people cry, the skies falling, the skies falling or wolf wolf. More people start saying, okay, I need something real. I need something that'll anchor. I can anchor my life to and to help me navigate, you know, this this mind field of fear. And so young people by the droves, I mean, Barna, they're showing George Barna's organization. They're showing the stats

on young people coming to church now for the first time in years. We have more young people ages 18 to 35 attending church than we do older adults. I have a clip of that. Yeah. Yeah. It's probably in there. So you've got also published data this year showing an increase in the church attendance and religiosity of young people between 2018 and 2024. The number of young people who said they believed in a higher power rose from 29% in 2018 to 48% in 2024. And while in 2018, just 7% of Gen Z's are they attended church monthly? This went up to 23% six years later. I think it's also, you know, there's so many people believe in a higher power or believe in the universe or whatever. It's just, you know, it's taking that one step and saying, oh, well, it's God is Jesus. When your peers are doing it, then it becomes much easier to say, okay, I'm there now. I just put an aim on it. The stigma, I think a stigma is starting to fall away. I agree. And I really love seeing that. You're a part of

that. Yes. Which one of these clips that you brought to you want to play? We think the, should do the, oh, I love the revival that this is great. And a major worship gathering at the University of Pittsburgh is drawing thousands as UNITAS ministry continues a growing wave of campus revivals across the country. Hundreds of students responded to the gospel message coming forward to commit their lives to Christ during the event afterward, baptisms took place and picked up trucks and parking lot, loved doing late in the night as students publicly declared their faith. And then was this 2000 baptized in the Atlantic ocean? Yeah, I go with that. This is good. A powerful scene at Hannah Park today where nearly 2,000 people were baptized in the Atlantic Ocean. This large scale event was organized by the Church of 1122 and it drew a crowd of more than 11,000 Isn't that David Wickers church? Yeah, people that includes church members, family and friends,

all gathering together to witness and support those who are taking this public step of faith. The beach transformed today into a sea of hope. This is now an annual tradition and the beach baptism at the Church of 1122 continues to grow bigger and bigger each year. Baptism is a public declaration that Jesus Christ is your Lord and Savior. And it's not the water that baptizes you is that relationship that you have with Christ through the gospel of Jesus. And so this is an opportunity just for us to celebrate these people who since have been washed away and they've been resurrected to an anewness of life. I was so sad that well I mean I was happy of course for our brother Mike who got baptized on his birthday on the night. It's beautiful. And we saw the video. Yeah, man and he's 80 I think 81 and it's just so wonderful to see that and did it in in your swimming pool. Yes, actually in Pastor Brian, we double-dunked. So we were on each side of him. Yeah. And you could have held him under a little longer on us. You could have

just bubbles, bubbles, man. I saw bubbles. So it was such a beautiful scene. It was fantastic. Just the joy. Just the joy on him and it arms raising here when he comes up and smiling and this is a transformed man by Jesus Christ. And so what baptism is for those of you who are interested, it is, baptism is in my literally means to immerse. I mean that's what the word literally means to dunk, to immerse fully. And it literally is an outward expression of an inward reality. You make that decision in your heart. You receive Christ. You say yes to Jesus. Yes, I want this. I want to be born again. I want to be saved. I want to become a disciple of Jesus a follower. And you say that in your heart. It's a heart's cry, but you also say it with your mouth. And scripture even tells us in Romans chapter 10, you confess with your mouth that Jesus Christ is Lord, believe in your heart. These rays from the day said, you shall be saved. For whoever will call

in the name of Lord will be saved. So you have these beautiful promises. This is what you do. After that, then you want to follow the Lord and believe us baptisms. There's two things you need to do after you receive Christ. First of all, you need to tell people go and tell show and tell. Show up and tell go and tell others. Hey, this is, this is how I was. This is how I am now. And in between with him in between, in between was Jesus. And that's why I'm a different person today. That's your testimony. Keep it simple saying, right? Just tell him what happened. You don't have to be a theologian or a Bible professor or have the new testament memorized to share your faith. You share your journey where you are at this point. Also, after my, just so people understand, my experience was that was the beginning. I mean, I was all in. I was there, but it's almost like I got my pylon slice. And now I have a license to learn how to fly. It's not to kick off. It is the kick off. Yeah. This is when the game starts. It's not like all of a sudden you know everything. You've got it all together. No, but that's, you know, people at the beginning.

It is the beginning. So that's what baptism is. It's the second piece. So the first is go and tell. Second one is is is be baptized. Jesus said, be baptized for the remission. The removal of your sins. It's it's a picture of that. It doesn't literally remove your sins. You're confessing Jesus and repenting of your sins. That's where that happens. Yeah. But then this is the picture of it. And the picture is modeling. Romans chapter six tells us buried with Christ in baptism. So you like Christ died and was buried, right? Buried with Christ in baptism. You're raised to walk in newness of life. Just like with Jesus. There's that resurrection. So you come up out of that water, not literally a different person because you've already made that decision your heart. But this is symbolically saying, this is what I'm doing. This is my witness to the world. That's why we don't do baptisms in private. We invite friends. We invite fan party. We had a party at my house. Yeah. We invited. We we had stakes and we ate and drank and had a great time. And then we went out and did the baptism. It was such a beautiful celebration. And we've got people already ready to be

baptized again. So we're going to be doing this on a regular basis here at the church. In fact, I met with Pastor Brian this morning and we have both made a commitment. We feel an urgency while people get afraid. This is what a Christian witness. Disenture that guy's question. That lady's question. Here we go. So the Christian witness to the world is that we up our game. We raise the bar. We go harder. We go stronger. We let fear move us to make a bigger difference, not to shy away and hide away, not to run away, not to not to hide, not to go hunker down. preach it's get out there. There he goes. And get off your blessed assurance and go do something for the kingdom of God. And so that's our heart. And we had a meeting about that this morning. And he's preaching this weekend because I'll be in Murphy'sboro, Tennessee at a culture and Christianity conference at Pastor Alan Jackson's church. So Pastor Brian's going to go on and I was just a lot in a fire. I was just throwing fuel on the fire. Yeah. Raising the bar. Get him excited. Now, I said, you know, don't preach out of passion. Preach out of conviction.

preach out of the weightier things. The weightier matters. You know, let let your heart come through. Not just your words. So I'm just encouraging him and firing him up. I think he's ready to blow up the things ready to go. I have to have a fire retarding clothing on in the first line. The first. Yeah. Yeah. No kidding. I play one more of these clips because you know, when young people, when they see other young people doing something, you know, there's a community that they feel much better about joining something. You go to any of these concerts from any of the, I mean, you just look at, you know, we've been to a couple of them. I mean, you got 15,000, 20,000 people. You are not alone. You're not a freak. You're not a weirdo. In fact, quite the opposite. And it is saving children from some of the worst things that are happening today in our overconnected, over-socialized lives. But this is a massive gathering. More than 5,000 people at a freedom in Jesus get together at the university. Cincinnati is where this one happened. Hundreds

then took the next step in their journey and were baptized outside of this event. Nick, wait, and Trinity, Garrett are both student team members for United us who were behind the organization of this event and we're part of the baptism ceremony. It's great to see both of you. Thank you so much for being here. So Trinity, tell us a little bit about what it felt like at this event and what's happening on campus there. Yes. I mean, campus has completely shifted since Wednesday. Being at the event, being in the room, there was true freedom. You could look around. People are dancing. They're singing. They're not thinking what is my classmate next to me thinking. They were truly present in the event. I mean, we've seen testimony after testimony. I had a girl, a random girl, text me and she said that she walked into the event with suicidal thoughts. She was anxious. She was suppressed. And it's Friday now and she texted me that it hasn't came back. She's like, I actually got free that night and she said, thank you. And she ended up getting baptized that night

as well. And so that's just one testimony of the 5,500 college students that were in that arena that night. That's remarkable. Is that awesome or what? Man, there's such a synergy that happens when Christians come together. It's called church. Yes. It can be in a coliseum. In an auditorium, it can be out for at HB and where two or more gathered. There it is. He's there. There it is. Before we thank some people for our because we are value for value, we love for you to support us with your time, talent and treasure for the value we bring to you without putting you through any subscription hoops or listening to incessant ads. Could we got the PO box? You can find it all wgtdtdonations.com. You can send anything to the PO box. And Natalie Knox sent this note and you know, prayer is powerful. And I just want to read this. Dear Mr. Curry. Well, right there. I'm like, okay, I'm old. I am writing this to be in obedience, not for clout or attention.

It feels as if God is pushing me to share this story, not a profound one, but still look good to his glory. Our God is awesome. And Jesus couldn't be a cooler judge and savior. Nice way to put it. Here it goes. I'm living in Nashville. We're in a cute house four miles from downtown by Barry Hill. Your first appearance on Joe Rogan's podcast and I'm listening while I do my daily walk down Drake Avenue. You're at the high point of some info dump, probably something a little irreverent. God stops me in my tracks and says, pray for him to find me. If there's an argument over it being God versus the spirit talking, I give zeros. Yes, is Trinity blah, blah, blah. It was an order from on high. I was not going to disobey. Before praying, I did give a skeptical shrug, not in doubt of God's ability or brother's worthiness, just doubt because people suck at listening even when our father shows up at their doorstep fast forward to your next appearance on Rogan. I'm on

the same walk, same street, same expectation, except this time you proclaim Jesus Christ as your way, truth and life. At that point, I stopped in the same spot. I prayed for you to find Jesus looked up and said, you're good. As someone who has been sent to others with a hard message on occasion, it lights me to see. And here, a brother and sister who listened and came to the fold. Yeah, sister and Christ, Natalie Knox. Beautiful. Man, thank you. Thank you for praying for me. I know a lot of people have been praying for a long, long time. But I just, you know, when that comes around, even in the kind of interesting language you use to say it. That is beautiful. I love it. Beautiful. We want to thank people for supporting us. You know, value for value, you can do all kinds of things you can tell someone about the podcast. That is probably the best thing you can do. Joey Swink gave us $100. We really appreciate that. Joey, as a Noah general listener, I'm glad to

have found this podcast. Your jingle and title is a new life outlook. I guess it means the opening we get to do this because of Christ. We get to do this. May the Lord continue to bless and keep you. Thank you very much. Timothy Huter, Huter, header, H-U-E-T-T, Hootner, I guess, Hootner. 77, 77. Got the angel numbers there. That's great. Happy late birthday, Adam. Thank you, Adam and Pastor Jimmy. We look forward to this podcast every week. Thank you, brother. Thank you, Jason. $65 from Clueless. First time donating to WGTTDT and I'm overdue for another donation to No Agenda. Adam, I'm sorry for the loss of JCD. Thank you for what you're both doing here on We Get To Do This. I work at a public charter school and an education for over a decade now. I love what I do in working with kids, but admittedly, I've been feeling bogged down by all the nonsense that is public education in this country. As a creative outlet, I recently started a

YouTube channel at Clueless Casting. It's a fishing channel, but it's really more about the stories and it's fun for me to do. Please admit to your prayers, I'm navigating a difficult internal struggle of figuring out where God is calling me to go next, whether that is to remain where I am or something differently entirely. I love you, bros, from Clueless. I love that. This is a hard one because I've struggled with this too. What do you want me to do, God? This is what, and what happens for me is I just keep getting reinforcement. It's from other people. It's from a daily devotional you open and it has something relevant to just what you're saying. I think that's all planned. Multiple. Yeah, multiple. Multiple angles. Yeah. $50 from Sir Andrew Gardner. Cool. I started listening at episode 45 after John passed and then went back to the beginning and have listened to one through 36 so far and the latest ones mixed in there. Listening to the two

of you on what I like to call his agenda. I look forward to every episode more and more each week. Thank you for your courage, Andrew Gardner. Thank you. Thank you for sending you value back. Appreciate that. Tony Seaman says thank you. $25. Jim Castlin, $25. Didn't send the note. If you send one after the fact, we happy to read it. Edward Coda, every single show he's sending his $20 through the check and through the PO box. We appreciate that. David Wicker, sir, by his grace, send us $11.22. He's just talking about this church. Yes. Stephanie O'Donnell, $5. Nicholas Stark, $5. Cameron, Cameron Napp, $5. Also sending it through a check in the PO box. I love checks. If you handwritten, note is good too. We'll read that if you got it. And Dwayne Spellman Jr. always with $1.53. Thank you all so much. We're going to expand this. We're really going to start blowing this out. In fact, I'm leaving my

studio here in the bridge church studio. It's my mobile rig. It is here now where there's other shows we're doing. I know a woman, which is you can get it on the bridge radio if you go to bridgefbg.com or you in the Godcaster app, you can find it there as well along with Hello Fred and all of the great music. Man, I'm just so excited about what's going on where we're headed with the future is going to bring. It's awesome. We get to do this. We do. Wgtdt.com to support us with your value Wgtdt donations.com brother, will you take us home with maybe your daily grind or yeah, yeah, I'd like to today. Man, just woke up sensing some things and just about the world in general what we talked about today and how to shake feel shaking. I mean, just the world's sure. I feel the earth move under my feet, right? That's all song. Was that Carol King? Was Carol. So the title of today's daily grind is Unshakable Peace. It's found in Psalm 168. It says,

I have set the Lord always before me because he is at my right hand. I shall not be shaken. And here's the title Unshakable Peace and it says this, your peace, security and stability in a world that is shaking come from knowing that God is near and is as near as your right hand. You do not have to live a shaky and fearful life when you keep the Lord before you. Why? Because steady makes you ready. So today, keep the Lord in front of you before you in prayer in worship and time in the word. Just talk to him in your car or shower. Stay with him. And here's the prayer for today. Father, thank you for your nearness. I will not be shaken. I will not be afraid in Jesus name. Amen. Amen. Brother, thank you so much. Always a pleasure. Shall we come back next week? Do it again. Let's do it. We get to do this. Everybody will see you next Wednesday. Bye.

This is a life. We get to do this.
