In a candid conversation, the speaker delves into the world of California politics, where the lines between accountability and corruption seem to blur. This episode of the Accountability Podcast explores the state's electoral system, where the speaker questions the legitimacy of recent elections and the role of the Democratic Party in shaping the state's future.
The discussion centers around the recent mayoral election in Los Angeles, where the speaker argues that the outcome was predetermined, with the Democratic Party controlling the narrative and manipulating the results. The speaker also touches on the topic of Gavin Newsom's potential presidential run, suggesting that his team may be setting up Kamala Harris to pass the baton to him, rather than him running himself. The conversation also covers the lack of viable candidates in the Democratic Party, with the speaker questioning the intelligence and qualifications of individuals like Kamala Harris and Hunter Biden.
The speaker also discusses the cultural shift in California, where the state is becoming a magnet for liberal voters from other parts of the country. This influx of new voters is changing the state's demographics and making it increasingly difficult for Republicans to compete. The speaker suggests that this cultural shift is not just a political issue, but a cultural one, and that it will require a fundamental shift in the way people think and behave.
If you're interested in learning more about the state of California's politics and the implications of its electoral system, tune in to this episode of the Accountability Podcast. The speaker offers a unique perspective on the state's future and the role of the Democratic Party in shaping its course.

She's the host of the Orange Report with Kira Davis. You can get her online at justkiraDavis.com. And follow her on x at Kira Davis. Kira Davis. Welcome. Hi guys. Well, thank you so much for being here. So my pleasure. Let's start out with that really bizarre interview that Gavin Newsome gave to Jake Tapper in the middle of a river for some reason. We're. The temper wanted to go fly fishing. Before you start, my husband is an amateur fly fisherman. And he follows politics a little, but he's not, you know, his head's not in all they like us. I showed him that he was like, wait, do they, are they even wearing waiters? What, what are they casting? Where are they casting? He was so, so even a green like a greenie like him like newbie political guy was like, this looks absolutely ridiculous. He was appalled.
I kept waiting for Oprah to come skip a pebble in the water. I'd love to know how that negotiation went. Newsome probably goes to Tapper and goes, hey, why don't you put me on CNN and Tapper goes, why don't you jump in a lake? And then Newsome goes, let's split the difference and do it in a river. But that's a good question though. How did it happen? How did it happen? Are, am I to believe that Tapper's, Tapper's podcast is called Out of Office. Which I think given what Trump has just done to CNN and other networks. Maybe that's an appropriate title, but it's called Out of Office. So Gavin sets this up. Then what? His team doesn't tell him they're going to a river to fish like put on a t-shirt or like his team doesn't go out and grab like a pair of waiters. The guy was fishing in a button down shirt. You know what? I'm just trying to picture how it all went down. Did nobody prepare him for?
This is part of my working theory guys that Gavin Newsome's team hates him. All right. Let's get to the big news that was made in that interview. When Gavin Newsome told Jake Tapper that he would not in fact run for president if Kamala Harris were to jump in the race and run herself, the answer was essentially they'd be working the same corner. They have the same donors, they have the same strategies, they have a lot of the same supporters, they come from the same state. So it would essentially result in the two of them cannibalizing each other and creating a lane for some other candidate to then win the nomination. So it would be a form of mutually assured destruction. However, that's not how everyone interpreted it. I don't know if you saw what Mark Halperin said on his podcast, but he believes that Gavin Newsome is not going to run for president, that the family doesn't want him to do it, but there's not really an available lane for him to win the nomination and then the
presidency. So he's looking for a way out where he can save some face and go, you know, I didn't run, but it's not because I did an assessment and I have no viability. It's because my friend is going to run and I couldn't stand in the way of her and the White House. That was my first instinct. I did hear an interesting three yesterday, which and I can't remember who said this, which is he's setting her up to pass the baton to him. That's another way to look at it that if he can get her to endorse him, then he doesn't have to worry about all those donors they have in common, the voters. I'm not sure I feel about that, but I do think that's an interesting way to look at it. I think Mark's assessment is, it's really what I thought right away, which is this guy is backtracking. He isn't so much trouble and let's not forget. He's under investigation. That's still going on in the background while we might not be getting a lot of reports.
The DOJ is digging into his stuff. Plus we've got the DOJ sniffing around our voter rolls, our electoral system. There's a lot going on behind the scenes that we're not seeing as well. I do think he's realizing that the path is closing and I don't think it's a coincidence that this comes on the heels of his most recent South Carolina visit. Or like, I'm pretending I'm running for President Tor. Those weren't hugely attended. They didn't generate a lot of excitement no matter what his Z team tried to portray on X. I think when they're out there, they're realizing the rest of America is a lot different than California. So I think he's trying to find a way to gracefully say face. I do believe that because how can he win? How can he win? How can this rich white guy win in this day and age in the Democrat party that is now taken over by the DSA?
How can this guy win? Well, what's his appeal? And I say that because you mentioned South Carolina. So CNN went and they videotaped one of his meetings in South Carolina. He did fill the room, so we'll give him credit for that. But demographically, he filled the room with older white Democrats, people who are at the No Kings protests, that crowd. That's I guess who he's popular with. But if you're talking about a Democratic primary in South Carolina in 2026, you're not going to win any Democratic primary in that state unless you can connect with black voters. And to have these events and to have virtually no black support show up at all, have a demographic fill the room that is now voting Republican in large margin in places like South Carolina, older whites. I don't see what appeal he has in the South.
I don't see what appeal he has in many of those industrial Midwestern states. And if you look at their calendar, South Carolina votes early, Georgia votes early, Michigan votes early, those are all states where if you can't generate some black support, you're not going to win. Yeah, I also think Kamala Harris has the same problem actually. So it's very interesting that they're sort of intertwined and he's having to denounce her. They're both in trouble with black voters and particularly because of what they've done here in California. Kamala is deeply unpopular because of her time as a G here in California. She's deeply unpopular in the black community. I think you're right, though. What does Gavin Newsom have to offer the rest of the country? We're watching him do a flurry of executive orders in this last year as he's doing his I'm pretending I'm big daddy Trump routine, which I guess was funny at first, but it's
really falling flat lately with his own base. But he's passing a lot of executive orders that I believe are aimed at hitting that Midwest middle, if you will, or that Southern middle, which is, you know, there's the one he's got a none of these are real. By the way, I mean, if you can tell me what's come to fruition, I'll give you everything in my savings account. You can go get them in and out with that. But I he had the programmer young men, right, which is after Charlie died, then he was like, I'm going to lead young men. It diaper, the diaper program diaper fate. He signed that he signed healthcare for illegals. He just did something today. All of these things are aimed at look, I'm just like Trump. I am helping the middle class person. So don't forget the AI kill switch. That's what I was thinking about the AI kill switch. That's right. The AI kill switch, which now is like, what do I love AI now?
I don't know. I have Gavin Newsom is against this. And maybe I should be for it. But what you're seeing is him scrambling scrambling to get some kind of centrist bonafides. It's not going to work because he's the governor of California. And he has absolutely destroyed this place. And there's no way you can put back together 20 years of destruction in six months of executive order. So you're right. I don't know what he's running on. Of the people that you know, who genuinely has affection for him? Who genuinely likes him? Because I was thinking about that from my own social network. And the only people I know who genuinely like him are the left wing wine moms who take their rhombauer shard nay by IV. I was going to say gay men gay liberal men. Those are like my gay liberal male friends. They love him. And they love Obama. And they think they're both their heart. They're real. They're well spoken.
I swear to you. I swear to you. So I actually do know grown men who have affection for that man. You draw your own conclusions about how that works. But there are people. Obviously, there are people out there who really like Gavin Newsom. I mean, they obviously genuinely voted for him. I don't understand them. Most of them are people who really aren't plugged in. Haven't made the connect between their leadership and their day-to-day lives. I think that's a big problem too. I don't know. I don't get it. I never got Barack Obama either, though. I never understood why everyone was like, he's so. He's so well spoken and he's very articulate. That's the word we heard about him a lot. And people say that about Gavin too. And I think they're both certified morons. Joe Biden said he was clean. Remember that one? Yes. Yes. Clean and articulate. The first clean and articulate.
Amazing that he got away with that, right? Amazing that he got away with that. We got away with everything. None of the Democrats talk about that. They don't talk about how he's losing his mind. That's amazing. There's a report out, I think it's in Axios, about Kamala Harris, where they quoted a number of advisers who were very close to her senior advisers. We're not talking about the interns here. And almost to a person. I think there was one who disagreed but said that she was on the fence. But almost to a person, they said they do not believe she's going to run for president. I can't imagine that that's true because she believes you go back and read her book about the last election that what caused her the election was she did not have all of the time that she needed to present herself to the public. And if she just had more time, she would have won the election. And if you genuinely believe that, I don't, but she seems to.
You genuinely believe that then why wouldn't you run when you'd have the full amount of time to go out and do all the things that candidates normally do if you think that would cause you to win the election? Very good point. I'd like to point out that I think we're also probably going to see Hunter Biden run at the presidency, at least in the primaries. And I'll tell you why. And this is why I mentioned his name with hers because both of them have no other marketable skills. They have it no way to earn money. They don't create anything. They're not talented. They're not intelligent. They don't have any real policy experience. Campbell Harris especially is really truly genuinely an idiot. And I don't mean that to be insulting it. She is genuinely an idiot. And so what did she have? She can't hardly write any. She go that book. I have that book too. But she that book was definitely ghost written.
She again, what does she have to make money from besides politics? And she's not smart enough. And she could do this, but this is another sign of her lack of intelligence. She's not smart enough to go just find a cushy job on a board somewhere, you know, just being a figurehead on a board, get paid a million dollars a year to go to one meeting. And you know, sit on the beach in Malibu and watch the cliff side of your house fall away in the tights. She's not even smart enough to do that. Same with Hunter Biden. They only have politics. That's the family business. That's the business. Is she going to run again? 1000% how else is she going to earn money? I would love to see Hunter Biden as a candidate for president where he goes to Iowa. He eats them the best. He kisses the babies. He throws out the first pitch at some minor league baseball game and then snorts up the left field foul line.
Let's let's let's put Hunter Biden on skid row. Let's let him do a little promo and see how that works out. Sanctuary of hope changed my life. I was only 19 scared, pregnant alone. They said there was only one way out, but I wanted my baby to live. I just didn't know how. When I found sanctuary of hope, they didn't judge me. Sanctuary of hope gave me a safe place, medical care, someone to listen and the strength to become a mom. Today my daughter is here because sanctuary of hope made room for girls like me. You can be that someone. Just $25 can help the next young mother find hope instead of fear. Give today at jhm.org slash hope. Or call 1-855-694-9647. That's jhm.org slash hope or 1-855-694-9647.
Sanctuary of hope because no girl should face this alone. Sponsored by Hageem Ministries. One of the questions that I get all the time and I'm sure you get it too because you're in the know here in California. We have seen one party rule run the state into the ground at the state level, at the county level, at the city level. Some of these big cities are just in a troscious shape.
You go to Oakland, California right now. It looks like the day after the end of the world. Los Angeles is not much better. In fact, Randy, you argue Los Angeles is worse. I argue Los Angeles is much worse because Los Angeles is much bigger. And people go, okay, there's always a pendulum in politics. And at some point it's going to have to bounce back. And you look at recent elections, take statewide and take LA for example. In the last couple of mayoral elections, the Republicans really haven't had much of a showing. The Caruso last time around was a right of center candidate who had some degree of viability. But prior to that, Eric Garcetti never faced a threat. Before him, Antonio Virugosa never faced a threat from the right. Statewide, when Gavin Newsom ran both times, he had token opposition, whether it be John Cox or Brian Dolly, who weren't active on the campaign trail.
They weren't aggressive. They weren't really making the argument in a persuasive way that would force Gavin Newsom to sit on the hot seat for a while. This time around though, things have changed. Steve Hilton is an aggressive candidate. Steve Hilton is showing up to the opening of an envelope. He is everywhere. And he's all the places he needs to be. He's in boil heights. He's talking to democratic constituencies on Podsave America. He's in the Bay Area. He's in the Central Valley. He's in San Diego. He's in Orange County. He's all over the place. He is one of the most active candidates on the Republican side, statewide that I've seen in a very long time. In Los Angeles, Spencer Pratt did virtually everything right. He won the debates. He showed up unbelievably prepared to his interviews. I peppered him with questions for an hour. Hit him with everything. And you could tell the guy was well read. You could tell the guy had thought these things through.
You could tell the guy understood the arguments and had solutions that he thought would help improve the situation, whatever the subject was. His AI ads went viral not just locally but nationally and internationally. He did everything right. He didn't make the runoff. And Steve Hilton, according to the latest P.P.I.C. poll, is down by over 20 points. And people go, okay, I get it. If you're going through the motions and you get crushed, but if you do everything that you're supposed to do, you throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball, you don't make unforced heirs, and you still get crushed, it's just soul crushing. What do you say to those people? I've been talking about this for a little while on my show. I've been talking about this for about a year, but really after the LA primaries, it ramped up. This is my honest question. This is not provocative. This is my honest question.
What recourse do the people have when you can no longer use the law to change the law? And we're in a place now where we are looking at some deeply unlawful things happening in our electoral system. And you can talk about, oh, the cheating is baked into the law. So it's legal cheating. You can frame it however you want. Which cheating going on, the system has been corrupted. The voice of the people has been diminished and stolen. And we watched it happen in real time with Spencer. And I'm going to go with Trump on this one. I was watching the returns that night. And I'm going to go with Trump. I do believe the fix was in for Steve Hilton too, but people made such a stink about Spencer that for once in their lives, the Democrat machine said, let's not rock the boat too much. It's not bring too much attention on ourselves, which is probably a good thing. So I don't know what messages of hope I have.
You've got to get out and vote. I do believe this is our last election where we still have a slim, honest majority that can come to the polls and elect a guy like Steve Hilton and the rest of that golden ticket that's running. But we are up against a major question here, which is what happens to a state in America when that state is no longer employing the democratic principles of a republic? Are we allowed to still call ourselves a state? If we're socialist, if we're basically communist, are we allowed to be a state in the republic? What recourse do the people, the residents, the citizens of that state have to counteract a government that is clearly corrupt, clearly cheating and not even the lawful legal peaceful act of voting on mass and campaigning honestly can overturn the corruption? What are our options? I do think people need to start thinking about that. I don't have an answer to this question because I really do genuinely think we're getting
close to the end of a rope here in California where we're not going to be able to fix this with the law and then how are we allowed to stay in the United States of America as a state underneath the Constitution? Well, I think the answer is in as to what people are doing about it and that's their voting with their feet. I mean, I've lived here my entire life. I've never lived in another state. The most I've spent, the most time I've spent out of state is I was in Key West Florida for 30 days during COVID because I was going nuts living here when everything was shut down and I had to do it for my mental sanity. And then you got COVID. No, I got COVID here and brought it there. Oh, well everybody was fine. But when people would come visit me in the 90s, in the 2000s, from other states, they would be enamored with California and inevitably a certain percentage of them would end up moving here and they thought it was the greatest thing in the world.
And then the teens came and the COVID shutdowns came and that's when everything changed. COVID really changed this state in ways that I didn't think were possible. In that every single year, I lose more people in my social network than I thought was possible. And every year, my network just gets smaller and smaller and smaller and smaller. And you think about how important those networks are for your own personal life. These networks help you get jobs. These networks help you when your dentist retires find a new dentist. These networks help you find schools for your kids. These networks help you if you're running for office, raise money for your campaign. They help you raise money for your charities. They help you with everything that you would need from a friend group or a network. And those networks are evaporating for Republicans in this state.
They aren't just shells of themselves. They're just gone altogether. And it gets to a point to where when there's nothing left, you don't want to be the last one to turn the lights out. And I just see so many people who are right of center leaving and they're not being replaced by other people who think like them. I had a conversation with Ryan Gerdusky, who studies political demographics on the radio program this week. And what he said makes sense and it reflects what I'm saying with my own two eyes as I live here. And that is that one of the reasons that California hasn't moved back to the right is the same reason that it isn't happening in Colorado and New York. He's saying that those three states in particular are becoming sponges for the purple hair crowd, that the purple hair crowd, they get their bachelor's degree, their master's degree,
their graduate degree, wherever. And then they gravitate to places like this. Well, if we're importing people with purple hair by the thousands on a daily basis, I don't see how we ever have a course correction. Because if we're making arguments that are resonating with the old timing new deal Democrats and some of those people are finding the light. And I have many of those sorts of people in my life. People who spent a lifetime voting Democrat in this state who recognized that the state has gone off the cliff and it's time to do something different. Gloria Romero running for Lieutenant Governor, one of them. But if the purple hair crowd, they're moving in by the plane load, I don't see how we fix things anytime soon. I really don't. And I don't see how New York fixes things and I don't see how Colorado fixes things. And that is depressing to think about. But it's also, I think, accurate.
That's a very good and depressing theory. I think the other side of that is a lot of those people don't vote. They protest, they make a lot of stink, but they don't vote. So there's that. It's an interesting theory. Here's my theory. This is not just a political problem. This is a cultural issue. So it's not all of it is going to get solved with voting. A lot of it's going to get solved with the culture shifting. And so that's another place. No matter if fact, I give this speech whenever I'm out doing public speaking. I'm available, by the way. But one of the things I say is that everybody has a part to play in the war. We are at war. This is a war. And everyone has a part to play and not every part is radio host or candidate. You know, these are big jobs and people think, well, if I'm not doing something like that, I'm not making a difference.
But sometimes, especially in a state like California, your act of rebellion is being a normal person is getting married, having kids, going to church, those kinds of things. The culture is going to have to shift. So that's one area that we can look at. And I do see signs of cultural shift in the state. The state is working hard against that shift. But I am seeing that as far as who we're importing and who we're exporting. Yeah, it is depressing. You know, it's interesting. If you look at what just happened in Sweden, I don't know if you guys have been paying attention to what's going on in Sweden. But they haven't, this is sort of the same thing. But they have an immigration issue, which of course we also have as well. But they have a lot of sub-Saharan African immigration problems there. It's to the point where the people of Sweden who are very docile have said, we've had enough. They, in rebellion, they did a recall election.
And they lost to the immigrant vote for the first time. Those people that had been imported, they lined up to vote. Don't do anything else, but they lined up to vote, which is why they're importing those people. And they've re-elected the very liberal government. Basically, what people are saying is, Sweden is over because now you've imported all of these voters. And they will never vote in the best interests of Sweden again. So in a way, I suppose that's happening here in California. We're importing all the purple hair, blue hair, weirdos. And it's overwhelming the normies. So I know it doesn't sound very, very hopeful, but I also, I never, I never count out the culture. I never count out the culture, the culture shifting. And I'm a Christian, by the way, too. I'm a believer. So one of the things that happened when Charlie Kirk died last year was this big revival swept the nation. And we're seeing the tail end of that here in California. Those numbers aren't getting reported, but church attendance is going up here in the state of
California. When we see things like that, shift, we will see a cultural shift. And that'll be reflected in the politics as well. So is that a little bit of hope I can give you? I don't know. Is that I don't even know what it sounds like to be hopeful anymore? Saturday, September 26th, two of combat sports most dangerous strikers collide. Bear Knuckle. Liverpool's own down in the Gorilla Tilt goes to war with Cuban powerhouse L. S. S. S. S. Drogad Romero plus the Bear Knuckle Midowent Championship of the world is on the line when the rating champ Dave Varednick Mundell defends against undefeated British challenger Jack Demeek Cleaver Cohen, BKFC 94, Tilt versus Romero. Watch it live only on the zone. Sign up now at thezone.com. Well, I just, I don't think the bulk organization is good. It's not good for the Republicans if every Republican voter lives in Florida. And it's not good for the Democrats if every Democratic voter lives in California. That's not good for the state. It's not good for the country.
It's not good for the people who live there. Yeah, no, I totally agree. Also, I want to say this to the people who stay who are choosing to stay in California, maybe just have to stay in California. If you have a problem with your government, the government that's that's that's most influential is the government closest to you. So I was at my central committee meeting last night here in Orange County for the Republican Party. And you know, there were four or five seats coming up in November that weren't filled. That's just going to go to a Democrat. It's a little seat like library board or, you know, the assistant deputy to the water commissioner. These little seats that are elected offices. No one thinks about their empty and Democrats love government. They love meetings. They love conference calls. They're those people. So they're going to run for those offices. So you if you have a problem with the things where with the way things are being run, you know, look for those little seats and get in there and and make a sacrifice. Everyone needs to rethink
what it means to sacrifice for your freedom for your country. It's not just about going to war, picking up a gun and laying down your life. It's sacrificing your time. It's sacrificing your personal comfort. Sometimes it's sacrificing personal finance. There's there are different types of sacrifice we need from you. If you are outside California and you're looking at us coming to you because we're escaping what's going on here and you're going, okay, fine, come here, but just don't vote the way you voted in California. You can't tell people how to vote. You can't tell Californians how to vote. So my suggestion to you is if you don't want your place to become California, you get on those positions right now. Fill the positions and then you don't need to worry about weird purple hair Californians moving to your red state and then, you know, filling these offices and changing things. I can't tell anybody from California how to vote. You can't tell anyone how to vote. You have no control over that. You only have control over your local government. So get in those seats and fill them so they're not empty for the conference
call lovers to come fill them up. Without lying to people, how do you get people enthusiastic to participate in the process? When the likely outcome is that their favorite candidates and causes are going to lose. And I asked that question in the context of a conversation I had with Roxanne Hogue who is the chair of the LA County Republican Party. And she's pulling her hair out because she said if everyone who filled out a ballot for Donald Trump in the last presidential election had filled out a ballot that was sitting on their kitchen table for Spencer Pratt, he would have made the runoff and this would not be an issue. But there were tens of thousands of people who didn't do that. They couldn't take the time out of their day to fill out the ballot for Spencer, mail it and then be done with it. I have had the same conversation with Roxanne on my show. One of the things I want to be clear Roxanne does not share my opinion on this but I want to be
clear. I do believe there is cheating. And there is she. So I believe that it's my personal opinion that if those 10,000 people have filled out those ballots and sent them in, there just would have been another 10,000 votes for Nithia. Ramen coming in. That's the part that's the the depressive part of the Republican vote, right? Just as you're saying, a lot of people are going it's useless, it's pointless. Okay, this is where leadership comes in. This is where it matters to have good leaders who motivate people who inspire people because some things you just can't control. Roxanne can't go out and get every one of those ballots can't go out and smack every one of those people on the head and get them to come in. But an exciting leader can't really Spencer Pratt did that. He got a lot of people out again. I think that race was his to win. And it's not just, it's partially but not just about the people who didn't come out to vote legally. But when you have
a dynamic leader, the game changes. We have seen examples of that throughout history. You look at what Donald Trump did in 2016. And again, in 2024, the right leader, passionate leader, can influential leader can change the hearts and minds of an entire population. I think we've got a great candidate in Steve Hilton. He's really energetic and he's when he's in front of people. He's very persuasive. I've never seen him be un persuasive actually. But he's just one man. I think as the Republican Party, if we can manage to do it, as the Republican Party makes space for people who are dynamic, outspoken, passionate, and don't always sound, right? Like the buttoned up perfectly educated, you know, suit and tie Republican, the more the Republican Party makes space for those people, the more people in California will respond. The numbers don't matter
to Californians anymore. The numbers, the stats, the points, the margins, the decimal points, they don't matter to Californians anymore. What Californians want and need is inspiration. That's what they want. So the more inspiring leaders, we can find either locally or statewide, the better off will be. But at this point, that's where we're at. We need deep inspiration. Not the percentage, the, the math of it. At this point, if we're talking about winning as Republicans, the math of it is irrelevant. Really what we need is passionate people. And then we need the suits and the ties, the people who are like, oh, we just want to talk about taxes. We need them to chill for a little bit and let people speak to the passions that are inflaming Americans right now. Let's go back to Spencer Pratt for a moment because you look at that vote and the largest block of voters that exist that didn't have their candidate make the November ballot are Pratt voters.
In theory, Pratt voters will determine who wins that election. And instead of courting Pratt voters, both of the candidates, Nithya Raman and Karen Bass are attacking Spencer Pratt. Karen Bass just went off on Spencer Pratt on Jamil Hill's podcast earlier this week. Insulted him, insulted his campaign, insulted his supporters, and bent over backwards to alienate the people who theoretically will determine who the winner will be. Both of them, both Nithya and Karen Bass are spending the final weeks of this campaign, the final month of this campaign, trying to appeal to DSA voters as if they're the voters that are the swing votes in that election. What do you make of this attitude that they don't have to go to the third place, finisher and make any kind of overture to them at all? Just keep pretending like you're running
against them and ignore your opponent or I guess put your opponent on the back burner for the time being to kick the person you want to kick. Again, I know we don't like to talk like this, but I think it's because they know the fix is in. They don't have to court those voters. They'll never have to court those voters. They will always have the votes they need to win. That's why they're appealing to the DSA. The more socialism you vote for, also, you know, you can vote it in, but you can never vote it out kind of stuff. So of course, that's their base. They're talking to the base that they know will show up. Again, I just think it's a signal that Los Angeles has lost complete control over its election system. And I don't know how to sound like very thoughtful or centrist about this. I think they're cheating. And I know in professional circles, I guess we're always talking around that, but I don't, I don't want to talk around it.
I think they're cheating. That's why they're doing that. They don't care because they don't need to care. And they proved that during the Spencer Pratt election. No one saying Spencer Pratt should have won the whole thing. You know, that he will go to November and win. That's a different calculation. But I think what we saw in the primaries and the ensuing responses from the ramen and bass campaign, I think it's pretty clear. They're working together. The fixes in, they don't care about those other Los Angeles voters because they don't have to. They can do whatever they want. Who do you think ultimately wins? The bass. I think that that's the only reason that the ramen is in there. Kira Davis hosts of the orange report with Kira Davis. You can get her online at justkira Davis.com. Follow her on x at Kira Davis.
