Teen Shooting in Winston-Salem: Adults Charged

0:00In Winston-Salem, North Carolina, a plant team fight at a city park exploded into a mass shooting Monday morning, killing two young people and injuring five others. Police just announced charges against adults who encouraged the whole mess. The chaos hit Lineback Park right before 10am, when a one-on-one brawl between Juvenile turned into a wild gun battle with multiple shooters, firing off rounds. Cops have ID'd every suspect involved and say no one's still on the loose. The dead are 16-year-old Daniel Jimenez-Millian and 17-year-old Arrow Bay, Romero Medina. Among the wounded, three miners aged 14 to 17 got hid, plus two young adults at 18 and 19 years old. Some might have been, shooters too, with injuries from minor cuts to life-threatening. Police chief William Penn dropped the news Tuesday after huddling with the district attorney. They're hitting those adults who watched, cheered, or helped the kids reckless moves, no matter what. This sends a strong signal. Adults fueling Juvenile crime won't slide in this town, and investigators are locking it down tight as they push forward, with cases.
