Hello and welcome to episode 1028 of the official, established the run.com podcast. My name is Adam Levitan, I am one of the co-founder, as always joined by fellow co-founder Evan Silva and we are three weeks into the NFL season. Some real trends are indeed developing. Evan, how's it going today? It's going all right. I mean, I was depressed after week two. I mean, there were so many injuries and the weather ruined things and this past week, I think we had a much better week. Sam brought of ETR, one of bunch of money, Dave Yurago of ETR, one of bunch of money. I saw a bunch of subscribers winning a bunch of money. I crushed on my bets.
So yeah, I'm taking down Polymark. I'm a little worried about Polymark it, actually. I'm taking them to the woodshed. It's so good. Yes, special shout out to, of course, Broughton Erego, but also Otaros, one of the best CFS players out there won the milley on FanDuel this week, shout out to him. On today's show, we are going to go team by team through all 32 NFL franchises discussing the most important things we saw in each and what it means going forward. Usage, injuries, performance, everything. Quick reminder for anyone serious about Fantasy Football or DFS this NFL season. Clearly I'm biased, but I could not imagine trying to play seriously without the ETR in season product. I pour over our projections for every decision that I make. I read Silva's matchups for his take on every player in every game.
I consult Thorns Rankings, tons more. Plus you get all our premium shows like Silver vs. the only weekly man vs. machine, myself, Silva and Wiggins on Friday nights, myself and Silva on Sunday mornings for last minute live stream. So head to the content schedule in the NFL tab for a full list that is the in season NFL product. Had established the run dot com. All right, going to start with the five biggest stories of the week and then we'll go team by team in alphabetical order after that. Story one, Evan comes from Las Vegas. The Raiders go to New Orleans and win a wild one 35 27 over the Saints. But the reason this is the number one story of the week is because it was the return of the chosen one Brock Bowers had the 2025 PCL issue had the August 2026 knee issue makes his season debut here and just immediately shreds 10 catches 116 yards and a touchdown
on a 39% target share. I mean, it's been one game, Evan. If we were redrafting today, I'd be hard pressed not to consider Brock Bowers in round one. Evan, what do you think of Bowers return and anything else? Raiders related. Yeah, people will throw around the terms like unicorn and generational. This guy is those things. Actually, her Daniel Jeremiah did a show this morning. I listened to it and he was like, you know, we have a bunch of awesome wide receivers in this league Jackson Smith and Jigba, Dramar chase Brock Bowers is the hardest cover in the entire NFL. I mean, he's out there whipping a cornerback in Kool-Aid McKinstree. And they're using him like an extra seaver. Clint Kubiak is almost like Jackson Smith and Jigba, you know, Brock Bowers is the Raiders number one receiver. And he's going to be treated like that going forward. Another 20 plus touches for Aston Gentie. He's got 20 plus touches in every game so far.
Raiders are three. You know, yeah. The thing about this Brock Bowers stuff is the pedigree just makes me feel so confident that this is actually him. It's not some like blip or outlier. Remember, he won the Mackie Award twice, nation's best tight end. 2022 and 23 while competing with some serious hard competition in college. Then as a rookie catches 112 balls as a rookie tight end. That was a record. And then in 2025, just season wrecked by the PCL. So yeah, they're using him like a wide receiver as Silva said. Michael Mayer is also playing almost every snap. Brock Bowers was slot or wide for 45 snaps in line for only nine. And so like, yeah, man, I mean, it's just total, total free. Evan mentioned gentie. Do you have any concerns on gentie efficiency, Evan? He has faced the dolphins and he was reasonably efficient. He had 2.3 yards per carry against the charges in week two, 2.9 yards per carry in week three against the Saints. Mike Washington was the one who broke off the 36 yard touchdown run and present run.
Do you have any concern around gentie efficiency right now? I mean, I know that you've always had, you know, at least slight talent concerns about action gentie. And I mean, I think it's fair. I mean, he hasn't been hyper efficient so far with his NFL opportunities. But I mean, the workload is there. I mean, do you think the Saints, they have a lot of size on their defensive front. They're one of the biggest defensive fronts on the NFL. They're not easy to move. But yeah, I mean, I, we're still kind of trying to figure it out with action gentie. Is he, was he really worth that number six overall pick? I mean, that was a very aggressive place to take a running back from Boise State. Yeah. There are some tape bros out there who are saying things that I didn't know you were allowed to say. Like you can't say anything bad about action gentie. Otherwise, the people are just all over you. I didn't know you were allowed to say some of the things that the tape bros are saying about action gentie right now about his lateral movement and some other stuff. But clearly, I mean, very, very good player with an awesome workload.
I'm not trying to like stay bad, bad things about him. But I want to see some efficiency in some of these really good matchups that he has had outside of Miami. All right. Story two, Evan, let's go to Tampa Bay brutal day for the Bucks. Baker was bad again. They lose to the Vikings at home to fall to Oh and three. And then with under two minutes left, Baker dislocates his right thumb. They say he's going to be out at least three weeks, which means the Bucks will turn to back up Jalen Daniels, an undrafted free agent rookie out of Kansas. Evan, Bucks are mess right now. Any thoughts on Baker, Jalen Daniels, anything else? Bucks related. Just feels like the Buccaneers were not prepared for Baker. I may feel to miss any time because this has got to be one of the words. I mean, it's got to be the worst backup quarterback situation in the NFL, right? An undrafted rookie who was like a dual threat at Kansas, who runs four, six, five.
I mean, he's not going to be running away from anybody in the NFL. He comes in and goes over three with a pick after the Baker injury. It's an absolute disaster. I mean, I think the people are going to end up like a mechag boot. I was going to end up getting dropped in a lot of leagues over the next couple of weeks. I mean, you're not going to use any Bucks pass catchers with Jalen Daniels at quarterback. So Jalen Daniels, Evan said is only six foot one to 19, not that fast. He was Dan Brugler's number 18 quarterback in this class. Brugler had an undrafted grade on Jalen Daniels and Jalen Daniels went undrafted. Then he gets to camp and there was an open competition in camp between Jake Browning and Jalen Daniels. Jalen Daniels won that. And so like Jake Browning started games. He's awful. You know, I mean, he's not totally torpedoed. The Bengal offense really last season, if you remember. Exactly. Yeah. And so beating out Jake Browning is not that much of an accomplishment. So I agree with Evan. I don't know who I can start confidently on the Bucks right now. They are playing the Packers this week.
Bucky Irving got banged up late in this game. Bucks came out after the game confirmed that he's fine. Opportunities in this game were Bucky 19 game well eight Tucker zero. So like I still think the Bucky usage is good. It's still going to be good with Jalen Daniels, but how many touchdown opportunities, how many catches can Bucky really have when playing with this dude? It's a fine matchup against the Packers, but yeah, we're going to have very low projections on Bucks stuff across the board here this week. Major, major concern. Hopefully Baker can get back on the earlier side of this week to week timetable. Yeah, it sounds like at least three weeks here for Baker. Last note for me on the Bucks, Jalen Mcmillan has the dreaded PCL Evan. And you know, once a guy gets a PCL at this point, I'm just like majorly, majorly concerned. Sucks because I do think Jalen Mcmillan was a little bit of a baller, but we're going to get to see a lot of Ted Hurst. Ted Hurst ran 36 routes on 46 dropbacks. Last week to get a 40 yard touchdown from Baker, obviously you can't start Ted Hurst,
if anyone in deeper dynasty leagues or anything like that, this Mcmillan run out. And I do not think Godwin has looked good this year. Hurst is going to have his chances here for the Bucks. He's going to end up being a killer like last round pick in Best Bowl. I mean, he's going to be a star to the rest of the way. Ted Hurst, big X receiver. You're not going to be able to start him in redraft until maybe later in the season when Baker Mayfield comes back, but he's a really interesting prospect. He's got upside. He had a lot of fans in the prospect profile community come out of small school during the process. Story three. Let's go to Atlanta. This was the Thursday game. Michael Pennicks returns as the savior for the Falcons makes his debut off of his third ACL tear. This is in Lambo played an excellent game. I thought considering his first game off of third ACL. His rolled the Packers 35 14, Pennicks 18 of 25 for 256 and almost all of it to his guy.
Drake London goes off for nine catches, 194 yards and a touchdown. So we knew Pennicks would be an upgrade over what Cooper Rush was doing or what to a would have done. He was a maybe even a little bit more impressive than I thought he would be was Pennicks. Ever what do you think of Pennicks and any Falcons thoughts going forward here? Yeah, I mean, it's not like Michael Pennicks has played a lot of really good football in the NFL so far. So I think I'm a little bit skeptical going forward, but no question. It's huge for Drake London. It helped Bijon Robinson. It helped the entire flow of the offense. What a massive upgrade from Cooper Rush. Now I think that there's some stuff to take with a grain of salt. The Packers, the Packers are a disaster right now. They're going to end up, they're a risk of being one of the like the worst 10 of the one to 10 worst teams in the NFL at this point with what they've going on with what they have going on defensively and also on their offensive line. We'll talk about them. But yeah, it was it was an injection that there was much needed for a team that in the
first two games, the Falcons didn't even go into the opposing red zone one time. And then they put up what 35 on the Packers, truly a breath of fresh air, Michael Pennicks. Yeah. The splits, if you look at the Pennicks splits, the London Drake London splits with Pennicks are absolutely crazy. He had a 40% target share here. I mean, with Michael Pennicks, we're talking about this being in play every week, 30, 35, 40% similar to the JSN dominant target shares. When London's been in there and Pennicks has been in there, every other pass catcher has been a tough click and that includes Kyle Pits. Now Kyle Pits has not even had the greatest usage this season. He's only had a 63% of the routes is Kyle Pits. He's only seen 7.6% of the target. Kyle Pits has two catches for 20 yards. And again, on the splits, Pits targets per route run the last two seasons. Drake London on the field, 33, 17%. Drake London off the field, 33%.
We're talking like double the amount of usage for Kyle Pits when London is out there versus not. So this was the point that I was making before the season, Evan, about the pit stuff with London. How word are you about the pit stuff right now? Oh, I mean, I wrote in the right up before this game that Kyle Pits was not a fantasy starter anymore. So I mean, that's how I'm viewing it going forward. And one other thing I wanted to know is that you know, B. John Robinson had an unbelievable game on Thursday night against Green Bay, but Brian Robinson has given the Falcons a lot of successful runs this season. And if something were to ever happen to B. John, which obviously we hope that does not happen, I think that this, the way that this offensive line is clicking and the way that the scheme to Kevin's defense game, Tommy Reese stuff, it looks, it looks like they're going to have a really successful running game, especially when now you have competent quarterback play. So Brian Robinson should be rostered everywhere. Did I mean, watching B. John Robinson on Thursday night was so wild like he just shreds
like sheds people they cannot tackle this dude. I mean, the first guy never brings him down. It's crazy how well B. John played huge difference maker in that game for the Falcons. Story four, let's go to the Vikings Vikings go to Tampa Bay and win 23 19, but I wanted to have this as a top story for two big reasons. First, we now have 70 snaps of Kyler Murray in this Viking scheme. Still very small sample, but we have 70 snaps of Kyler Murray with this Kevin O'Connell Viking scheme. And quite frankly, it has not been good. And second, somewhat related, Justin Jefferson went down with an ankle injury after two routes in this game. Sounds like it's going to be fine, but I did want to note that Evan, any thoughts on the way Kyler has played so far as a Viking. Again, very small sample left week one after 11 snaps and then played one full game here against Tampa. Evan, any thoughts on the way Kyler's looked anything else Vikings? Yeah, we talked about it on the Friday show that before Kyler Murray got concussed in
week one, he looked really uncomfortable, but it was a super small sample size. As you mentioned, it was 11 snaps and now we have a full game on it. And this was a really good matchup on paper. The Buckingeers have not rushed the pass so well for an extended period of time. They were missing Rubin Bain and Josiah Trotter. They haven't really, they haven't covered well. And this was a spot that I thought that Kyler Murray, if he had taken to the system that he could smash and he didn't at all, he continued to look highly uncomfortable. It makes me think that if this continues, then Carson Wentz, the Vikings are going to turn to Carson Wentz. We know that Carson Wentz can get the ball to the pass catchers. We know that Kevin O'Connell trusts Carson Wentz enough to drop him back a lot because this was not pretty in a really good matchup for Kyler Murray. And yes, it's a small sample with the Vikings, but if we expand the sample to the last couple years that Kyler Murray had with the Cardinals, he got an embarospodial go bersetch.
Goeperset came in and outplayed Kyler massively, I thought. Kyler was not good late in his Cardinals career. So yeah, I have real concerns here. The one thing that I do want to say though, playing without Justin Jefferson is brutal. And by the way, Justin Jefferson only ran two routes in this game. He caught two passes for 32 yards. Like if Justin Jefferson doesn't get hurt, maybe Kyler ends up playing really well and we're not having this conversation about Kyler. It's at least possible. It's entered my mind. Justin Jefferson, they're calling him day to day. He needs to get the swelling out. He did have an MRI, came back as a sprain. He would probably try to get back into the game in week three and couldn't. So I think it's pretty good news on Justin Jefferson. If even if he does sit out week four, sounds like he should be back four week, five, but yeah, Kyler stuff is certainly a concern. Running back, I don't even know how Aaron Jones is doing this the last couple of weeks. This like full workhorse thing with Jordan Mason on IR. I mean, Aaron Jones looks dead out there. Like peeling him off the ground, but he just keeps trucking along.
He had 23 opportunities here for Aaron Jones, just three for Demon Clayborn, one for DJ Dallas. So one reminder is that Jordan Mason, his injury was supposed to be just the minimum four weeks. So he should be back immediately when he is eligible to return. Yep. Story five. Let's go to Miami. Well, it's loose to the chiefs, of course, but that is not the story. The story is a sad one. One of the best players in the NFL, one of the most exciting players in the NFL is done for the season. Devon H. Ann tore his ACL Sunday. He's out for the year. I know we both had big fades on Devon H. Ann. Evan, I think both of us thought, you know, I thought he was like one of the worst fantasy football round two clicks I can ever recall. We talked about that a ton all summer, but still I hate to see such a great player go down
Evan. Any thoughts on H. Ann situation Miami going forward? Yeah, I love Devon H. Ann. So we're not taking any victory laps here. You know, we don't want to see our fade win because the guy suffered, you know, a season ending injury. Yeah, you know, Ali Gordon came in and got a ton of work, but Jaylen Wright was inactive for this game with a minor injury. I believe I believe it's two injuries, but not considered serious. And the dolphins traded for dark was hunter. He is currently on the practice squad as soon that he will be brought up though. I don't think that it's definitely it's not definite that Ali Gordon is going to be the dolphins are be the rest of the way. And really, you know, when thinking about like FFPC main event bids, how badly do I really want a dolphins running back? You know, I mean, we thought it was going to struggle be a struggle with Devon H. Ann who is like an unbelievable talent.
And now we're getting a big talent downgrade in an offense that, you know, it's not a functional offense. They actually were pretty competitive in this game with the chiefs for like three quarters. So hats off to them. I mean, they, I think they played decently, defensively, but this offense is not going to produce many touchdowns over the course of the year. Yeah. And you can check out dagels, waiver column, waiver show, discord Q and A for more like your specific situation around Ali Gordon, because I do think it's pretty team dependent. Like if you're in a really deeply starting running back, clearly is very, very valuable. If you're in a 10 team league, I'm not even bothering with Ali Gordon. Like what is Ali Gordon really worth? And to still was point, yes, I think Jalen Wright, my play, Chuck has Hunter, my play, they gave Malik Washington a couple carries here. I mean, if I'm the dolphins, I'm using Malik Washington as like extension of the run game. You be on handed to him. So like get the ball in his hands quickly. And that could be part of your running game as well.
So yeah, super league dependent on what to do on the Ali Gordon stuff. I do think he'll be the starter. But as Evan said, I'm not convinced he'll go full workhorse. Caleb Douglas was not active for this game. He has an ankle injury. Hopefully he's back soon. But I did want to say that it is great to see Chris Bell out there balling saw seven targets in this game. 30 routes on 41 dropbacks, four catches for 67 yards against the chiefs. This was a great pick by the dolphins, man. Like I don't know what the rest of these teams were thinking. Chris Bell was a first round caliber talent. He had a November ACL tear. Guys come back from ACL tears. Like it's nothing now in nine months, 10 months. And so they got a steal on Chris Bell. I think here Evan, I thought he looked really good. He does look good. And I think I like their entire their whole draft. They had a ton of picks that dolphins did. And because they were in sort of this rebuild mode, they were willing to take a risk on a guy like Chris Bell. And they're already reaping the benefits of that.
All right. Go to the NFC. We will go alphabetical order here, starting with the Arizona Cardinals. Silva was on this one. We talked about it a bunch Friday night. Silva's on the Cardinals offense to perform well. And they did, especially late. They scored 30 points in a 36 to 30 loss at San Francisco. One of the early season themes and trends to me. That's important is this new Cardinals regime is letting Jogoby Berset drop back. And insane amount of times, just like the old regime. You know, Cardinals were down 17, 6 and a half. Screw it. Berset drops back 54 times. I mean, obviously you're going to have really good fantasy games when that kind of stuff happens. So, could call by Evan what you think of what happened with the Cardinals on Sunday. Yeah. All day, you know, all during the morning games, I was nervous about this game. I was like, man, I better get this right because I went hard on the over in this game and the Cardinals team total over. So that was that felt good to get this right.
Jeremiah Love separated himself from Tyler Algier, which you love to see. Michael Wilson played a really good game. Tremac Bride continues to be the best fantasy play at Titan weekend and week out. But yeah, this is this was a nice one. Yeah. Obviously got a ton of stuff wrong. You know, lots of stuff wrong. That's why it's nice to get something right. Yeah. If anybody watched the rest season, top 150 show last week, my one move to make at the end was by Jeremiah Love. I thought trailing situations would be better for him. And that was the case here, but just getting over the ankle injury and just being a freak talent, it's eventually going to win out. And so as Silva said, snaps in this game where Jeremiah Love 55 Algier 31 opportunities, though. Six opportunities for Jeremiah Love, six for Tyler Algier. So yeah, love to see it there clearly healthy. The more they trail in games, the more he'll be in there. The Cardinals are one and two. They have some couple reasonable matchups, giants and lions next two weeks.
Then Rams Broncos Cowboys Seahawks Rams chief. So it's going to get really tough. They're going to be trailing. I think that Jacobi Persephone, some people some money this week. Yes. Top five fantasy quarterback on the week, we talked about him on the Friday show as a fun tournament play because this game could end up going back and forth. And it did definitely got fortunate with the rushing touchdown and the game script. But I mean, you can see that coming. The 49ers are extremely depleted already on their defensive line. And we saw the Cardinals have rushing success in addition to passing success against them. Yeah, the brisket to Michael Wilson, with or without Tramik bride is what you need it. And yes, Michael Wilson continues to absolutely dominate the artist, formerly known as Mazdemarva. I'm not using that term anymore. Everybody's using that term now. I'm out. It's enough. It's like when I was talking about germs, a lot than everybody started talking about germs. Once it goes mainstream, I'm out. So I'll call him Marvin Harrison's son from now on.
Michael Wilson, 17 targets in this game, catches 11 of them. It could have been even more. He almost made a crazy catch in the end zone early. But yeah, I mean, when Brasette throws as far as at 52 times, Marvin Harrison gets going to get free catches, you know, whatever. And McBride and Michael Wilson are going to go nuts. It's like, Brasette is the perfect setup. He is just good enough to not get benched, just good enough to sustain drives, but bad enough to always be trailing. It's just an incredible setup. It really is. All right. Panthers. Panthers went to Cleveland on Sunday and lost 21 to 18. But the past heavy trend continued. Another 51 drops for Bryce Young here, sucked that he lost Jalen Coker to what looks like a minor injury. Teneraman could do anything. The efficiency wasn't great, but it tried to be really past heavy here. Again, Evan, what do you think of Panthers performance in Cleveland? Yeah, Bryce Young is leading the NFL in passing yards now.
But I mean, there are still red flags because as you mentioned, Jalen Coker goes out. He'd already been dealing with an ankle. This was a quad, right? And Damien Lewis, the Panther stud guard, one of the highest paid guards in the NFL, has some sort of a UCL injury, which is an injury we usually talk about in baseball. But I remember last year, Darnell Wright, the Bears' right tackle, how did you see out injury? I think he only missed maybe one game. I don't know. We'll have to see on Damien Lewis, but that's a big concern because Bryce Young is the most pressured quarterback in the NFL. He's been pressured on 53% of his dropbacks. They're already on their number two left tackle and number two right tackle. And now it looks like they're going to be down to maybe the number two left guard as well, at least for a little bit. Yeah, not ideal. And certainly not ideal on Jalen Coker either. Some of them mentioned the ankle injury he came into the game with was listed questionable.
Then he strains a quad early in this game. They say it's not bad. He's dead a day. They're not really a map for week four, but we'll see. One other injury here, Evan, I want to get your take on. There's not many corner injuries. I think matters. JC Horn went down in this game. He is out indefinitely. He tore his quad. My gut is that this one matters. Evan, how much do you think the JC Horn injury matters? Oh, it's massive. It is absolutely massive because also their number two cornerback Mike Jackson suffered an injury as well. So the Panthers could all and that's what their defense is built around. They play zone coverage with two big. They're two that I think that might be the biggest cornerback duo. Queen Young Mitchell and Rick Wolland might be bigger. But I mean, it's one of the biggest cornerback duos in the NFL. That's what they build their defense around. So yeah, I mean, they're probably going to start giving up a lot of points. And they play home against the Lions on Sunday. I mean, this is a bad time to lose JC Horn when you guys play the Lions.
Maybe Jamison Williams can finally get off the Schneid. Yes. We'll get to him in a second. Last thing for me on the Panthers, you know, no Jonathan Brooks here. Obviously, Chuba Hubbard got 19 of 23 running back carries. Four of five running back carries. He played 65 of 77 snaps. 23 opportunities overall. I mean, it's Chuba Hubbard role was awesome. I mean, it's awesome. So yeah, I mean, that was that whole like Jonathan Fade, Jonathan Brooks that we got real high on Hubbard at one point and real low on Brooks in the rankings and stuff. It turned out to be really good. Ran hot on injuries there for sure. We need to talk about Darren Waller. Go ahead. Well, if no Jalen Coker, then Darren Waller probably becomes the Panthers number two receiver behind Ted McMillan and Darren Waller is old. But I mean, he could still play a little bit. So yeah, I mean, I think that he will be if Jalen Coker misses time, which it sounds like
you probably will miss a little bit. I think Darren Waller is a top 12 option at tight end. So Bryce Chermaine came in when Jalen Coker went out in this game and handling himself. I thought reasonably Waller ended up playing 39 out of 77 snaps. Waller around the red zone is like a legit thing, a legit thing. I don't know how much more he can play. Can he play more than 39 snaps? I don't know. But the red zone stuff is legit. And yeah, it definitely matters, especially more touchdown heavy stuff. You could definitely consider some Waller bears. Oh, man, Evan, what a night last night for Case Kingdom and the bears on Monday night football. The Caleb timeline is reportedly three to four weeks with the greats you hamstring pull. Tyson Beigeant was in concussion protocol. So 38 year old Case Kingdom starts balls out. I mean, the bears stomped the Eagles 27 to seven. It must be a wild scene on Chicago sports radio today.
Evan, how is it going? What do you think of the bears last night? I mean, they could make a statue for Ben Johnson right now. It's like, God, Dicac Ben, Ben Johnson owns this city. Yeah, incredible. I mean, the Eagles have a lot of issues. The bears offensive like, kid asks in this game. I think that Case Kingdom was the least pressured quarterback in the NFL in week three. And that's with like the bears dealing with injuries to Braxton Jones too. We think that Ozzie Trapillo actually might come back in week four or week five, but even dealing with injuries to Braxton Jones, the bears offensive one has been really, really it was really, really good in this game at protecting Case Kingdom and he was dealing. Would you go back or do you think, I guess, what would you do and what do you think the bears are going to do? Would you go back to Beigeant who won the job or given this performance, would you stick
with Case Kingdom? I was listening to Brad Biggs long time Chicago Tribune beat reporter on the radio this morning and he is pretty sold that they're going to stick with Case Kingdom. I mean, I think you got to let him start another game. They get the jets next. Yeah, I think you got the ball to Luther Bird into. Almost got to touchdown in the Colston, Loveland. Khalif Raymond. Wow. I didn't see that coming. Like even a little bit. I thought that he would be like a little speedy guy who would run clear out routes and open up the middle for Colston, Loveland, Luther Bird. But Khalif Raymond has been a problem for Colston, Loveland. Yeah. I got to say, I did not even think or consider this Khalif Raymond thing as a possibility this summer. And you know, that's on me. Like, I screwed up. I didn't even cross my mind that Khalif Raymond could have a 21% target share through three weeks. He didn't even cross my mind that Khalif Raymond could have 21 targets through three games
and Colston, Loveland could have nine. I did not think that was in the range of possibilities. Now, Luther Bird and does have more targets on the season now than Raymond, but watching that game like the Amman Ross Saint Brown, S kind of routes and Ben Johnson's offense, they seem to be going more to Raymond than to burden. And like again, I did not even think that was possible. So I know Bird in showed up last week or on Monday night, like, I'm stopped and mistake there carrying the pile into the end zone. Yeah. That was a great play, but I'm still have like concern if this clue frame and thing is going to be sticky. And I have no reason to say right now that it's not going to be the YouTube comments are going to hate this. But Khalif Raymond was a two is a two time all pro punt returner. I can't even say he's played bad. He's played well. No, he's been great. Yeah. Um, Colson Loveland has run 89 routes. This season on 115 quarterback draft back 77% like usage is not the issue.
It's just like not being skeamed to him at all. So much more to Khalif Raymond first read stuff to Khalif Raymond and Luther Bird and a ton of it. Now, very good matchups for the Bears coming up. They play the jets, the Packers and the Falcons in their next three. Let's try to score 50 points Ben Johnson and maybe we can get Loveland going and Roman Bird and going a little bit there with Keenum. So if the touchdown that guy ruled down at the half yard line would have counted for Colson Loveland and Caleb Williams would have hit him on the deep throw down the middle where Caleb threw it behind him and Caleb would have hit him on the pass in the end zone where he clearly had a touchdown but Caleb missed him by four feet. Do you think that we're complaining about Colson Loveland if those plays had converted? I think we'd be saying that he has nine targets through three games and we'd be talking about that. Yeah, I mean, nine targets. We'd be talking about that but we would have a more like optimistic, I think viewpoint.
Yeah. Well, people will be saying we know this kid's great. We had to get in the ball. I think now people are saying, well, is he even that good? And I think that's misguided. I still think he's very very very misguided. I mean, he's awesome. So but it's weird that they're not making going out of their way to get him the ball more again, nine targets through three games is ridiculous. Cowboys. Cowboys went to Rio and I for one and just shocked that the field wasn't an issue. I mean, we talked about this on Friday. We talked about this on Sunday, just absolute hysteria from the media. Hopefully you guys listen to the solo pod that is audio only on anywhere pods. They're found I talked about this a bunch, but the game went all fine. It was actually a great game. 65 points, no outlier injuries. Coaches and players said the field was fine. Anyways, Cowboys weren't that efficient, but they did get 71 plays off in this game, lost it late. Evan, what do you think of Cowboys game down there in Rio? It was like the best game of the week.
You nailed it. I mean, calling out the field concern, a media creation. I loved it at the time. And now it looks like an awesome call because you were dead on. So good on you Adam Levitan. Pickens actually had more targets than CD lamb in this game. And I was actually thinking about like, because I consider CD the safer play on a week-to-week basis, I thought that his A dot would be much lower CDs, but CD is actually getting targeted deeper down the field this year. 13 yard A dot pickens 11.9. Last year, they're both around 12. It's more of the layup targets, scheme targets that go to lamb that I think makes me feel like CD is safer, but certainly pickens is has a really, really good role as well. But this team is also unlike a lot of teams in the NFL. They're in three wider severs sets so much and for no. Get to ton of targets. And so it's like not as clean for the wider severs during targets, the expense of tight
ends. For no, lamb and pickens were on the field for almost every passing play. The team does have to play the Texans next. It's going to lines. Lines have played three games, Evan. They have scored 30 plus points in three games. This time it was a 31, 24 win over the jets. Of course, the stars, Jemeer Gibbs. He actually had him for around 28 points in base projection here, which is just absurd. One of our biggest projections for any player in the history of ETR. And then he didn't just hit the 28 points. He hit the ceiling projection, another 164 yards and three touchdowns for Jemeer Gibbs. He is soaking up so much of the production in Detroit, Evan, what you think of their game against the jets. Yeah, it was like Bijon had that monster Thursday game. And then Jemeer Gibbs, like that motivated him to like, he just came in and topped it. I mean, he's one of scoring Jemeer Gibbs, one of scoring more points in fantasy than
Bijon Robinson after that unbelievable Thursday game. Yeah, I mean, this offense continues to hit on all cylinders. They have to continue to hit on all cylinders because they give up a lot of points on defense. That's just a weekly, week by week shootout scenario for Detroit. Yeah, so I know a lot of people are frustrated with the James and William stuff we talked about it last week. I'm frustrated with the James and Williams stuff. I mentioned last week, catch rate being a huge issue. Catch rate was not an issue here. He only saw four targets though. He caught all four for 49 yards. He has not gone any of those big yak plays yet. You know, like sometimes when he has huge games or a lot of times when he has huge games, he catches a crosser over the middle and just takes it 70 yards to the house. He has not done that yet. Now yards after catch is a very flimsy stat because you get one yak of 80 yards and inflates everything. That's coming. I'm confident that's coming. I don't know when. It was also annoying here for Jemo that Isaac Tesla actually played well.
He had three targets caught all three for 66 yards. I don't think that will be sticky. So I'm stopped at Mystic on Jemo. I know it's hard to be so. They do play at Panthers, at Cardinals, versus Packers, their next three games and they get the dolphins soon. Like we talked about it before the season. They have an insanely good schedule to the lot. So plenty more opportunities for Jemo. Yeah. It's got to Packers. Evan already mentioned it. I mean, Packers are looking like a really, really bad NFL team. They barely beat the jets in week two and then they get curb stomped in their home opener on Thursday night by the Falcons. Now injuries are certainly not helping. Thorne had the Packers with the 32nd ranked offensive line in the NFL coming into this week. Jaden Reed is out indefinitely. Michael Parsons is still out. But man, this is a bad, bad team right now. Evan, any hope for you on on Packers coming out of that Thursday night game.
When my hope stems from the fact that the Packers have a good quarterback and have two really dynamic receivers, Matthew Golden is making a sophomore leap and Christian Watson. You know, let's hope that he can stay healthy because I have a ton of Christian Watson. You were drafting too, right? All the Packers. I mean, I have a ton of Reed, unfortunately, Watson and Golden. Me too. I have a ton of Jordan Love as well. I mean, they're going to have to keep throwing the crap out of the ball because they can't run the ball at all in their defense. I mean, it'll get better when Michael Parsons comes back. But I mean, it's problematic all over the place. I mean, you can run on them. You can throw on them. So this is going to be another shootout team, at least, you know, as long as the weather cooperates. But Christian Watson and Matthew Golden, I mean, they are locked in every week starters in an increasingly condensed target tree because of the loss of Jaden Reed.
People want to talk about Tucker Kraft, though. Yeah. So he said some drops. Yeah. That was just my note. He ran 40 routes in this game on 55 dropbacks, did Tucker Kraft. He had two bad drops and like, he was mega tilted himself. I mean, he was just like screaming and yeah, he just played a bad game. I think he looks healthy to me though, but he just played a bad game. Yeah. I mean, I think that if you want to go, if you need to tie it in, like you could try to trade for Tucker Kraft in season long. I mean, I think that the arrow is only going to go up for him. Tucker Kraft is a stud. Yeah. Christian Watson and Matthew Golden have combined to see 40% of Jordan loves targets so far. These guys are balling. Like Evan said, look really, really good. Behind them, Sky Moore got 27 routes. Jay Michaels, they're deviant, got 20 and Bow Mountain, who's gone wide receiver, quarter back, back to wide receiver. Now he got 19. It's really just a mess behind Watson, Golden and Kraft. Evan mentioned the run game. I don't know that Josh Jacobs can save them.
This offensive line is so, so bad. There's nowhere to run. Marshawn Lloyd against the Falcons, four carries for 11 yards. Caleb Johnson, four carries for six yards. Like, I don't know that Josh Jacobs is going to save the run game. If and when he goes back. You think Josh Jacobs has a chance to come back in the next, you know, somewhere between three and six weeks, but we'll see. Rams. This was a wild, wild Sunday night football game here in Denver. Rams got out to a 16 nothing lead at half time against the Broncos. Then their defense collapses. There were some questionable calls late that I thought went against the Rams. They ended up losing 30 to 26. Those are now one and two on the season losses to the 49ers and the Broncos. Evan, what you think of Rams performance Sunday night in Denver? Well, we're a far cry from what we saw. The Rams looked like in week one in that Australia game because their offense is back cooking.
Devante Adams had Patrick Sirta. He beat up on Patrick Sirta in this game. He looked unbelievable. The vibes around Pukinakua right now are not good. I mean, there is talk that he might need surgery on his hip. I mean, and that's going to open. That just opens up so much opportunity in Devante Adams. I mean, he's still got it. Yeah. So the Pukin thing, I don't have a clear handle on either. There's been reports that he will not need surgery, but also been reports that surgery is not off the table. The last report from Rapsheet was, quote, I would say sooner rather than later on Puka, just may not be next week, next week referring to week four against the Eagles. So I don't know, man. It's some like weird hip slash growing thing. I don't know. As Evan mentioned, it doesn't matter who Devante Adams is up against when he has Matthew Stafford.
Without Puka, Nekua, three games without Puka, Nekua as a ram to Mount Devante Adams, five catches, 35 yards, three touchdowns, eight catches, 195 yards and two touchdowns, seven catches, 137 yards, no touchdowns. Crazy, crazy, crazy. Um, there is a tendency. I was going to say the other thing that happened in this game was Terence Ferguson went down early with an ankle injury. He is likely out week four. Also Colby Parkinson heard his shoulder, his status is unclear. That left Matthew Stafford throwing to Tyler Higby who had eight catches in a touchdown and cannot a mumfield who had 93 yards in a touchdown. I mean, it doesn't matter. Stafford does it to everyone, but yeah, they are getting real thin at pass catcher. They could have used McKay Lemon when they took Ty Simpson at 13 overall. They really could use McKay Lemon right now here, Evan, but yeah, it's not great. Or Kenyans of the Eek, you know, I mean, they could have had anybody. It seemed to me from watching the game that when Terence Ferguson went out and they had
big plans for him. I mean, that was clear, you know, from the previous game too, when Pukinuku is out Terence Ferguson is a big part of the Rams passing game. But he goes out and it seemed to me like Tyler Higby jumped right into that role. And if you have Colby Parkinson missing time as well, like Tyler Higby is going to be a fantasy starter. I mean, you know, that's what that's what we're down to. That's what you're talking about so much attrition already. We know that the Rams are going to be productive. We know that Devon say Adams is going to get his, but another guy can get his. And I think that might be Tyler Higby. Yeah. Last though for me on the Rams, it's hard to watch that game and not think Kyron is awesome. You know, I know people want to bang Kyron for all kinds of things, not being explosive. I thought he was just really, really good in that game. He got 5.9 yards per carry versus Korim's 2.5 and he earned the carry share. I mean, 15 carries for Kyron, just six for Korim here. Kyron also caught six balls for 70 yards. So yeah, I mean, when Kyron is playing well like that, the gap got starts to get a little
bit wider. Saints brutal choke for the Saints on Sunday. They turn it over four times to lose to the Raiders at home. They also lost Travis ETN to an injury, which I will get to. But the good news for the Saints is that Tyler Schuck continues to shove it down the gullet of the prospect, bros. Four more touchdown passes here for Schuck also had a 36 yard run under up tempo, past centric, Kellymor. Schuck has thrown 132 passes through three games. That's the most in the NFL leads the entire Lee in pass attempts. And then he's shocked at what you think of Saints game on Sunday. Yeah, I mean, it's kind of more the same from this passing game. Tyler Schuck is number two in the NFL in passing yards behind Bryce Young. Chris O'Lava has clearly separated himself as one of the top 10 receivers in the NFL. Joanne Johnson wound up being an awesome value in drafts.
It makes me excited. I'm still holding the Jordan Tyson. It makes me really excited about the possibilities when he returns because he was putting on an absolute show during training camp before aggravating the hamstring injury. But yeah, a lot of fireworks from the Saints passing game. So we spent a lot of time on Travis ETN being just like this weird usage. The early game usage for Travis ETN was actually really good, but he came into this game with a hamstring issue and aggravated it during the game. Travis ETN is going to miss time. Kellymor did not say how long but Travis ETN is going to miss time. They went with Camera and Kendra Miller after that. Evan, do you have any interest in adding either of these guys if they're available, Camera or Kendra Miller? I mean, I think that the Saints are definitely going to use a two to three running back rotation regardless.
And I think that they've shown us that because they paid Travis ETN a bunch of money and he was being used as the lead back in a two and three way committee. So I think that there's not going to be one guy that for sure dominates the workload in the Saints backfield. I did text under Hill about this. I said, what do you think they're going to do in the absence of Travis ETN? He just responded, Alvin. So I think that Alvin will move into that lead back role. I know it feels gross. I mean, Alvin Camera was one of the worst running decks in the NFL last year, but he's next up. He's the next man up. Yeah. And I mean, they healthy scratched Kendra Miller. Then they turned around and Kendra Miller is active. They're going to have probably Donaldson active here along with Kendra and Camera. So not that exciting of a spot for me. I would say, but again, depending on league size, what you need, consult the day go stuff and the waiver wire stuff for more there. Ever mentioned Jordan Tyson.
He's eligible to come off I or return for week five. I don't know if he will, but this setup is going exactly as we hoped, like play really fast under Kellin Moore, play inside the defense stings. Shock has a rocket arm. The Office of mine has improved. Like it's all working. Jordan Tyson should be owned in leagues until we get an update on when he'll be back. He could be week five. Like we really don't know. Giants. This was the first game since the devastating Jackson Dart injury. Giants did beat the lowly Titans 12 to seven at home. As expected, the Boomer coaching staff installed a very run centric. High James Winston make no mistakes kind of game plan here. And it worked to beat the Titans. You know, James only threw 118 yards in the win. And then on Monday, Evan, Giants give up a round five pick to acquire nine. JJ McCarthy is now a New York giant. Evan, he thought some their game and how they'll play going forward with Winston and McCarthy.
I saw some people saying like, what's the point of acquiring JJ McCarthy? And I mean, the kids like 22 years old. I know that people like don't like him like clearly. And maybe even his teammates don't like him. But I think it was worth it for a fifth round pick to acquire a former top 10 pick who's 22, 23 years old. I mean, I think that that was worth it. James Winston obviously is not any kind of solution. And the Giants know that because as we predicted, wanted to keep James Winston between 20 and 25 pass attempts. Well, he was right at 22. And they kept giving the ball to Kim Scatibu over and over and over, despite the fact that he Kim Scatibu wasn't particularly effective, at least early in the game. He was not effective. But yeah, I mean, this really stings like guys like Isaiah likely and obviously Malik neighbors because for as long as they the Giants are just unwilling to throw the ball because they
have James Winston at quarterback and they're definitely afraid of him throwing the ball to the other team. It's going to be hard for Malik neighbors and Isaiah likely to produce. Totally agree on all points like it's a no brainer deer. Like you guys know what I think about Jason McCarthy. I think he sucks. But I still think this was a really good deal for the Giants. Let's say it's like 3% or 5% that McCarthy can turn his career around. It's probably worth around five pick to find out if he can turn around. If he does, it's just a ridiculously valuable asset to have. But man, it's not good for neighbors and likely and fields or any other Giants past catchers like if the Giants got behind in games, I still thought James Winston if his arm is right. I think there's been some rumors his arm isn't right, but if his arm is right and they got behind in games, I still think he would have put up numbers and slung it around to neighbors and likely JJM. I just don't think that's the case. So I'd be trying to sell neighbors. I know Evan suggested that last week.
Maybe it's too late now, but yeah, I just don't feel great about it. When do you think that JJ McCarthy is going to play? Yeah, I think they'll continue to give James chances to win games and similar to all these situations, percept back and cousins, Mendoza and Watson, Shedir. You got to have a two game losing streak and then the wall is closed in. The Giants have a buy in week eight and I was thinking maybe week nine, but I asked some of the dudes in our in our private slack and they were like even sooner than that. The JJ McCarthy would go in. Yeah, I agree with you though. I think it they lose a couple in a row. Then the central version C is created and JJ McCarthy will be thrown into the fire. Yeah. By the way, Demon Singletair was a healthy scratch here. Giants coaching staff is in love with Najie Harris. He got nine carries. He got a boo got 20. Eagles man, we've been talking about this. I mean, another really concerning performance from the Eagles last night in Chicago.
They were facing case key num and the bear struggling defense. Eagles managed seven points and like I'm not afraid to admit when I'm wrong. Maybe I owe Kevin Pettulo in apology man. Maybe the 2025 debacle was not all Kevin Pettulo's fault because the offense has been just as bad this year as last year last year they were 30 second and three in our rate dead last at the most three in our rate. Highest three out rate in the league this year. They're 28 in three in our rate. I mean, it's absolutely brutal. Evan, any thoughts on what's going on with Eagles offense right now. They're also not as talented as they were last year because they traded AJ Brown. They lost Dallas Goddard who played a huge role in the week one game. Lane and Dickerson wound up being a zero. You know, so yeah, it was ugly and this is not a good bears defense. I mean, the bears defense isn't talented. So for them to struggle like that, that's huge, huge red flags and they were red flags.
As you mentioned, you were talking about it after weeks one and weeks two, but this was the biggest red flag yet. I mean, unable to, unable to generate more than seven points against the freaking bears. Yeah. At the point, it's on the players and it's on Syriani and people in Philly are going to be all over Hertz, all over Syriani. Ideally, they would have kept Kellymor right. I know that was almost impossible. You weren't going to be able to fire Syriani off the Super Bowl and such great winning percentage. But man, Kellymor with this roster, I think they'd be one of the better teams in the league. Now, and maybe I'm putting too much emphasis on on play collar and offensive coordinator. You know, like, I don't want to be doing that because at some point, it's on the players. That's just so bad. I mean, why is Jalen Hertz not getting more designed runs? He has 87 rushing yards all season. And then offensive line problems, you know, sake one, I thought played a good game. It was against the bears. He still couldn't get in from the one yard line. And then all the things that Evan said before the season about McCuy lemon are coming true.
McCuy lemon probably is a very good player. Just such a bad fit. McCuy lemon is where 90 routes this year. He has 38 yards on 90 routes. So I mean, I've been worried and I am worried about E.H.O.S. offense. Like, just scary. Let's go to 49ers. 49ers improved to 3 and 0 by putting 36 points on the Cardinals. They did get another injury scare at wide receiver. Mike Evans went down with like a rib slash a bleak injury, but they're calling him day to day. They cannot afford to lose Mike Evans, though. Evan there lost Purcell, Stribbling, Christian Kirk, to Marcus Robinson. The good news is they have the beast, George Kittle, who is back and crushing Evan, what do you think of 49ers gaming against the Cardinals? George Kittle looks better now than he did before he tore his Achilles. I mean, he looks unbelievable.
I think he looked great in every game. He didn't produce in the week one game, but he was an unbelievable blocker on the move. And then last two weeks, I mean, he's right back to being, you know, one of the best three tight ends in the NFL. So I mean, what an absolute steal. I know that you were on that big time. He was going with like the ninth or the 10th round. You know, it's not always easy to wrap your head around. Oh, man, I'm drafting a guy who tore his Achilles last year. George Kittle different. The peptides are cooking for him. I was going to say in the era of peptides, I just don't even worry about injuries anymore. It's so unless you have a PPL other than that, it's like, it's like, uh, Tick. PPL. That's the only injury that matters. It really is. It's so crazy. I know. They need a more help of wide receiver, though. Like Mike Evans is not going to last the whole season. Like I can tell, like, what if they traded for Jerry Judy? And I hate Jerry Judy. I think he sucks, but it should not be expensive to trade for Jerry Judy. I mean, they need something because right now we're talking about Jacob Cowing, Carderol Hodge.
I mean, it's a joke. Now those guys out there is great for Kittle and CMC. You know, those guys are earning so many targets just by being out there and being really good players. Speaking of CMC, really good usage in this game. He out snapped Kaelin Black 45 to eight and now carried Kaelin Black 15 to four. How about the start that Brock Perdue is having? So he's like one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL. We talk about what is the definition of elite quarterback play in the NFL? That's elevating teammates. I think Brock Birdie is clearly doing that really good fantasy. Unbelievable football under underrated fantasy player every year is Black Prairie. And seemingly on a week to week basis to Broncos. Sorry. Niners do have a tough schedule coming up. That's by the Broncos and the Seahawks the next two weeks. But then after that, the schedule really opens up over the next month or so. Yeah, I'm interested to see how the 49ers fair in these tough matchups Broncos and Seahawks coming up. Speaking of Seahawks, this was a bad loss for them.
They go across the country. It's one o'clock start. They're playing the commanders, but it was Marcus Marriota. I didn't even think that the Seahawks played as bad as it seemed. You know, they lost. It looks really bad. They got 6.8 yards per play in this game. Did the Seahawks. That's elite. And the commanders only got 4.0 yards per play. That is dreadful. But Seahawks turned it over three times. Commanders didn't turn over at all. It was a weird run out late. Seahawks lose the game, Evan, what do you think of Seahawks performance in Washington? Yeah, I mean, it was obviously the probably the most surprising result of the weekend. And strange stuff can happen when a super far West Coast team goes East Coast for a game like this. Marcus Marriota was rock solid. Didn't make any mistakes. But yeah, I mean, offensively, Seattle looked great. And that was with Gidarian Price fumbling and losing a bunch of playing time. How much of a concern do you think that that is starting to become?
Oh, this is his second fumble in two weeks. And he mostly got benched here after this one. He ended up with 19 snaps. Did Gidarian Price 24 snaps for George Hullani? 24 snaps for Emmanuel Wilson. Price is not going off before Zach Sharman. Gets back. That's not great for his long term outlook. And in the short term, I don't think they're going to like saddle him up. I think it's going to be continue to be plenty of Hullani and Wilson. I wouldn't also note in the first half. I saw George Hullani get a first in goal carry from the one. Didn't work out, but he got that carry like, I don't know, man. I I think Gidarian Price is so much better than these guys. But he's got to get out there and prove it. Darnold 31 of 45 for 379 yards and four touchdowns. There is a chance that this commander's past defense is just like Oh, absolutely dreadful. I mean, one of the worst in the league. I'm willing to say that. Yeah, it's horrible.
I mean, um, Darnold just read it. So, um, I saw I talk about stuff that I got right earlier on the show. Well, I totally blew it when we were talking about JSN versus I'm on raw. This week never doubt JSN. I don't care if it's, you know, 30 mile an hour wins. Raining, I mean, I want to say that he's the best receiver in the NFL right now. JSN. It's absolutely insane. And Drew Locke, you know, reigned, it doesn't matter. I mean, right. It's ridiculous. Ridiculous. Also, I think that Brian Flurry has done a great job with him. We were concerned about that. Clint Coupiaks, one of the best skimmers in the NFL. He goes to the Raiders. We don't really know a whole lot about Brian Flurry. Brian Flurry's done a great job. Last NFC team is the Washington commanders. Just mentioned it, but they put 33 points on the Seahawks. I don't really know how honestly. It's like such a weird game. They did put 33 on the Seahawks. They got their first win of the season.
Mariodas Evan mentioned three touchdown passes. Zero turnovers. Evan, any more thoughts on commanders? I'll just say that it's like there was a lot of concern. I think after the first two weeks about Terry McClure. People were saying, oh, Stefan Diggs is the new, is the commander's new number one receiver. I mean, Stefan Diggs wound up being a really nice pick, I think in fantasy drafts where he went. But I still consider Terry McClure and the commanders number one receiver. And I think that David Blau also considers Terry McClure in the number one. Yeah, well, important to Terry McClure and his the status of Jaden Daniels. Good news. Jaden Daniels will not go on IR. He is not having surgery. In other words, expect him back sometime soon. Now the risk of aggravation is there. We saw it last year. He put, he dislocated his left elbow, came back in like a month, put his left arm down on his first game back and aggravated it again.
But I think he said something like he owes to his teammates or something to like try to play through this. So we'll see how that goes. Last though for me on commanders, you know, it was a really tough matchup for J.C. Croskey Merritt. I just want to note he had a 48 yard touchdown run called back by an illegal formation play. So what a looked way better if not for that on JCM. And he gets a very good matchup in London, which I know Evan is excited about. Commanders Colts in London on Sunday, first London Sunday morning game of the season. Reminder, this free show is brought to you by Polymarket, one of the world's largest prediction markets and one that is now available in every US state. You can go back to episode one thousand eighteen for more on my take. For why prediction markets make sense for people like us. But the bottom line is really two things. First, pie market is just another place we can look to shop for the best price. And because there's competition for flow, we can often get the best price
on our predictions on poly. And second, perhaps most importantly, there's no limiting in any markets on polymarket. And there's tons of markets, you know, traditional ones, futures, all, everything. This turned into an insane game.
Ravens win 3431 to move to 2 and 1. Story to me, Evan was Zay Flowers. Remember hurt his hamstring midway through week one. Didn't play it all in week two was a true game time decision in week three. Killing ran 14 routes in this game against the Cowboys. And he went off for five catches. 84 yards. He's run 25 routes this season. And he's fantasy's wider sea for 17. I mean, absolutely insane efficiency from Zay Flowers. When he's been out there this season, Evan, what do you think of Ravens game against the Cowboys? Yeah, it makes me really excited for the possibilities of Zay Flowers when he does get to 100%. And Declan Doyle was talking on Monday. The Ravens offensive coordinator. And he was like, our goal was to keep Zay Flowers between 20 and 25 plays. He played 21, I think, or at least that's what Declan Doyle said.
And so everything went according to plan, which things don't always go according to plan. And when I do, it has a hamstring injury that he has already previously aggravated one time. So, yeah, you love to see Zay Flowers producing in a super, super limited role. Wiggins was right. Wiggins read this correctly. That, you know, Zay Flowers was making a trip. They did play him. He worked out before the game. Got the thumbs up. Shout out Wiggins. You're awesome. I saw a tweet from Sean Sian. I'm sorry if I butchered that name there. He said, Zay Flowers has run a crossing route on 52% of his routes in 2026 under Declan Doyle. His previous crossing route percentage by season was 10.7%, 13%, 14%. I mean, 52% crossers. I love that. Get him the ball. That's why I want him to do it. Jamest and Williams also. Get him the ball running fast across the field and let him turn it up.
I mean, again, on 25 routes, Zay Flowers has more fantasy points this season than Rishi Rice, Lab McConkey, DJ Moore, Ameca Gbuka, George Pickens, Jalen Waddle, Teneray Mcmillan. It's exciting for sure. Mark Andrews had a hand injury in this game. He's just such a dad runner and like, I'm just not excited to click him. Anytime Flowers is in. Same with Bateman. Bateman had 20 routes here. He's just not a target earner when Zay is out there. Oh, last thing on Ravens, Revenge Game, Derek Henry, who appears to somehow be at the peak of his power still. Efficiency wasn't there against the Cowboys, but two more touchdowns. Home against the Titans will be Derek Henry in week four. The Ravens played this game without their stud left tackle, Ronnie Stanley. And they still put up 34 points on the Cowboys. I think that I know we're talking about the Ravens here. But I would worry if I was Christian Parker,
the Cowboys defensive coordinator, I would start to worry about my job security. Bill's, Bill did not play well in week three. Some really, really bad turnovers. Josh Allen will incomplete at 61% of his passes. He threw two interceptions. He took four sacks. But somehow, Allen, James Cook, find a way they moved to 3-0 with a 24-16 win over the Chargers, Evan, what do you think of Bill's game here against the scuffling Los Angeles Chargers? Yeah, the bills did not play their best in this game, especially in comparison to what we saw out of them in weeks one and two. That'll happen when you're given the ball to the other team. And that's what Josh Allen did a couple times. So that came back to bite him. James Cook looks incredible. I know that with Ty Johnson back, the receiving outlook for James Cook really isn't there. But man, the bill's offensive line can block out the sun from a run blocking standpoint.
And James Cook has been awesome in consecutive games now. Yeah, it's frustrating too, because I played a bunch of James Cook in DFS and he had a very good game. But it should have been more. Like they had a couple drives where he took them all the way down the field, all the way down to the one yard line running like a beast. They get to the one yard line and Josh Allen runs it in. But despite that dynamic where Josh runs in a lot of the close touchdowns, Cook has run for 30 touchdowns in his last 36 games. If it's three yards out, four yards out, that's James Cook and he breaks long ones too. So I don't want to like be too upset about Josh Allen's stealing touchdowns from James Cook. He still scores an incredible amount of touchdowns. Last note for me on DJ Moore. Came into the game questionable. The shoulder injury looked to be a non factor to me. He led the team with 23 routes on 31 Josh Dropbacks, caught six balls for 67 yards. So I think DJ Moore thing is fine. Kincaid I know is quiet here. He still ran 21 routes, which was really good.
Usage for him had a bad fumble just a quiet game. You know, I think it just kind of happens. They play the Patriots next in the AFC East Showdown. The Bill is committed five turnovers in this game. And that's how you end up really not running a ton of plays. And Josh Allen had 16 completions. So it's just it's going to be hard for multiple guys to produce. In the passing game when that happens, there will be better games ahead for Golden Kincaid. Let's go to the Cincinnati Bengals. Bengals went to Pittsburgh. They scored 27 points, but they lose 30 to 27. It felt a little like the old Bengals, Evan. And I hate to see it because I've been optimistic about their defense. This defense, the Bengals defense allowed a week Steelers offense to rip off seven point oh yards per play. That is a massive number seven point oh yards per play in this game for the Steelers. So suck to see the defense regress like this, but Evan, any thoughts on angles game against the Steelers.
We got that Steelers money line, baby. I was not confident in that though. And the game did not go the way that I like, I thought it was going to be, you know, 17 to 16. So I'm not going to take too much credit for that, but it's nice to win. Yeah, so yeah, I'm with you. You know, the Bengals really struggle at linebacker. And I think that that is a weakness that can be exploited. We saw Aaron Rogers in this game. In his first two games, Aaron Rogers was 0 for 9 on pass, his thrown 20 plus yards down field. In this, in this game, Aaron Rogers had five plays of 20 plus yards. So, and I mean, DK Metcalf, like, you know, resume catching the football, which helps. Um, I thought Burrow was very good here, despite the matchup. And like, this is what he does deeper into the season that we get. The better Joe Burrow plays, they're still so high in password over expectation.
Burrow looks very healthy to me. Jamar Chase is healthy. T Higgins is healthy. The offensive line Thorin had them 11th. Last week in the rankings in his article, like, the eruption is coming at some point for this past game. They played Jaguars, Dolphins, and Ravens in the next three. So I think really excited for them. I did want to note, um, Somajay P-Rine was in for a third and two in the red zone early on. And then he stayed in the game for a first and goal. Did P-Rine. So this is someone like to chase brown problems with the P-Rine being annoying. It was still good usage for Chase Brown. You know, he had 15 opportunities. P-Rine had six, but yeah, it's just going to be annoying. Browns. Deshawn Watson, Evan, has somehow won two games in a row. This was the home opener for the Browns on Sunday. They beat the Panthers 21 to 18. It's not like Deshawn Watson was great, right? He had 30 pass attempts. That produced 144 yards. But over the last couple of weeks,
he's limited mistakes. And he's been running more than I'd like Deshawn Watson is running more than Jalen Hertz by a ton. Evan, what do you think of Browns win over the Panthers? Yeah, I think that Deshawn Watson has at least shown that he can be functional to the extent that he can get the ball to Denzel Boston and Harold Fanon. And that's really all that we can ask of him at this point, I think. I mean, he's not like a true asset on the field. Well, but he can be functional enough that he can get the ball so that Harold Fanon is in dead. And Denzel Boston can have nice fourth quarters like you did in this game. Yeah, Conceptio had nine targets in this game. Only caught two of them. Do you think there's something going on with Watson Conceptio? Anything that's just like random that they've been struggling to connect? Yeah, I don't know. That's a good question. I mean, we know that Casey Conceptio, in his first, I mean, he's running a lot of low A dot stuff.
So to have two catches on nine targets, that's not good. Yeah, I think it's kind of random slash fluky, but Conceptio and earning nine targets is like more encouraging to me than the fact that he only caught two of them, at least for now. Last thing for me on Browns, Quinchot Jugkins, Evan has faced Jacksonville, Tampa, and Carolina. He's only averaging 3.0 yards per carry. And we know this team isn't going to score a ton of touchdowns. So tough click on Jugkins. They play the Steelers on Thursday night. I know you're right up for that game is up on the site already. I believe do you have any Jugkins thoughts ahead of this game? I mean, the Jugkins struggles in terms of efficiency aren't just this season. They go back deep. I mean, he started off really, really hot. Quinchot Jugkins did for the Browns, and then his efficiency took a nose dive thereafter. So I mean, this is not, yeah, this is not new. This is going to extend way back in the last season.
Yeah. Broncos. I mean, Broncos looked dead in the first half. The fans at mile high were literally booing the offense off the field in the first half. They were down 16, nothing. Then the Broncos flip a switch benefit from some calls that went their way. They get a huge home win over the Rams 30 to 26 on a bonix kind of goal line dive play with 47 seconds left. It hasn't been the most inspiring start to the season for bonics. Like there's a lot of bonus haters out there. And I'm not sure he's done much to quiet them through the first three weeks. What do you think of Broncos game against the Rams on St. Knife football? He is not always the prettiest watch, bonix. So I understand why people, you know, they don't, they don't fully buy into bonics. He's not the prettiest quarterback to watch. The running back room to me is getting somewhat interesting because Jonah Coleman has a high ankle sprain. He's on IR return now.
Tyler Baddie was up instead of him on Sunday night. But we get 17 Dobbins carries against two RJ Harvey carries. And then we get RJ Harvey six catches for 41 yards. This I think makes sense. Like this is what they do best. Dobbins ready between the tackles. RJ Harvey catching the football. Evan anymore thoughts on the running back room here for the Broncos. I just think it's very, very straightforward. The Broncos backfield and it's JK Dobbins is going to get the carries. And RJ Harvey is going to get the catches. And it's a two man backfield in an average offense. And that can be hard to, you know, rip a ton of fantasy value out of. Yeah. Really interesting game at 49ers for the Broncos on Sunday. Certainly a good match up there for the Broncos. Let's go to the Texans. Texans were again playing without Nico Collins. They managed just 17 points against a weak Colts defense lose 19 17.
Texans are now 0 and 3. There's just not a lot of talent out there on offense. Not a lot of explosive ability. It's especially concerning day I thought for Dave Montgomery. He had 11 carries for 33 yards. He lost the goal line carry to Woody Marx. Marx executes on that goal line carry successfully. I mean, I had major concerns about Dave Montgomery from an efficiency perspective. I started out some concerns from a usage perspective here. Also, he just hasn't played well enough. Evan, what do you think of Texans game against the Colts? Dave Montgomery had a lot of success in Detroit running behind a great offensive line. And now he's having to play behind a not great offensive line. And we're looking at the results. If you remember, there was a Texans B reporter before the season who said that Woody Marx was going to play a lot this year. And when even as far as to say 50, 50 with Dave Montgomery, maybe that was a little too aggressive, but we're seeing a play out that Woody Marx is playing a lot and is eating into Dave Montgomery's
production. Dave Montgomery is not an exciting click in one of the most boring offences in the NFL. Do we think that Nico Collins will be back in week four? The report was there was a quote unquote decent chance that Nico would return week four against Dallas. I mean, they need him back. Yeah. So, so, so, that's an amazing matchup for him too. I mean, so, so badly. And yeah, just to close the loop on Dave Montgomery, it's not like Woody Marx has been great, but Dave Montgomery is averaging 2.8 yards per carry. And like that was not that extreme, but I thought it was somewhat predictable that he would not be able to fix this broken run game. Snaps this season Montgomery 115 marks 98 routes marks 47 Monti 57. So, again, like he's not going to be efficient. He's going to have to score touchdowns. This offense is not capable of scoring that many touchdowns right now. Colts. Colts get their first win over those Texans. Wasn't a great offensive performance from the Colts. Just 4.2 yards per play 19 points was enough to win the game over the Texans though.
Evan, any thoughts on Colts win on Sunday? Yeah, an ugly fantasy game. Josh Downs had his second nice game in a row, though 11 targets for Josh Downs. He's going to end up leading the Colts in receiving this was Tyler Warren's best game of the season. So far, he had 10 targets. I know that Kenan Allen put some stuff into the box score in this one, but I'm not relying on that. Going for Alpheck, he looks very good, but Josh Downs looking good, Tyler Warren looking good again. Alec Pierce is officially on injury reserve now with this aggravation of his heel issue. Again, this is going back to the March surgery. He's not going to get surgery this time. Alec Pierce, he's going to try to rehab it and come back, but we'll see. As I've mentioned, Josh Downs, you know, Downs, Kenan Allen and Tyler Warren combined to see 30 targets on 36 Daniel Jones pass attempts, which is great. The problem is it's all so close to
line of scrimmage. Tyler Warren's average depth of target this season is 1.9 yards. That's 40th among 42 qualifying tight ends. Kenan Allen's average depth of target is 6.5 yards. 85th among 95 wide receivers. Josh Downs, 60th. It's just tough to have big games when you're throwing the ball short so much. You just need so much volume. You got it here. Don't complete a 24 passes, but I don't know. They do play the commanders on Sunday in London. That's going to be a really good spot for these guys in that London game. Let's go to Jacksonville, really good win for the Jaguars. They put a beat down on the Patriots 35 to 6. It was a bit weird though. For a team that scored 35 points, no one really went off for fantasy. That's because the Patriots actually possessed the ball a lot. Jags had a lot of short fields, Evan, what do you think of Jaguars gaming against the Patriots? Yeah, a lot of short fields, a lot of just executed. I mean,
scored a bunch of touchdowns. The Jaguars did. The Jaguars, you know, at the end of last season, their offense really caught fire. But it also occurred against one of the softest schedules in the second half of last season, but they have kept it going into this year in difficult matchups against Denver, you know, at New England. This offense is absolutely legit. Basel Tutin looks great. By the way, Chris Rodriguez doesn't even look bad, but Basel Tutin looks a lot better. So I think that the arrow was pointing up on him. This offense has become bankable, even with Parker Washington. He didn't have the biggest game here, but he scored a touchdown over Marcus Jones. A lot of reliability in the Jaguars offense because you know that weekend and week out, they're going to get you points. Okay. Two big stories for me in Jacksonville. The first one is this Brian Thomas Jr. stuff. If you're only going to give him 15 routes on 32 dropbacks. And by the way,
again, Trevor Lawrence 32 dropbacks in this game, Parker Washington 30 routes, Jacobi Myers 29, Brian Thomas 15, Josh Cameron 9, Travis Hunter 4. I mean, that is a major red flag to me on Brian Thomas from your eye. You know, we've talked about how he just does not play well since his rookie year. And quite frankly, since the start of the 2025 season, Trevor Lawrence has played 20 straight games. Brian Thomas is catch rate in those games with Trevor Lawrence is 53% pathetic. And he has zero hundred yard games. Again, most of Brian Thomas's NFL production has come from Mac Jones. I don't want to call him a Mac Jones merchant, but that's just what it looks like. And the Jaguars are almost giving up on him now. Again, 15 routes on 32 dropbacks. Now this was a blowout. They played a lot of two tight end, but I'm not convinced that they think Josh Cameron doesn't deserve more routes here. He caught a touchdown here in this game. Yeah. I mean, the Jaguars like Josh Cameron clearly. And they probably want to play Nate more culture more than they have so far.
I mean, they were trade rumors surrounding Brian Thomas at the deadline last year. You know, I wonder if he might be available again. Teams in the report this all season was teams inquired on Brian Thomas junior and the Jaguar didn't want to hear it. If you're why not, why don't you want to hear it? You know what I mean? Like, they clearly he clearly needs a change of scenery at a minimum. A last thing for me Evan mentioned it. Um, Bay shell tooton. It looks closer in the end, but in the first half, Bay shell tooton was really dominating backfield usage. First half snaps, Tutin 21, Lequinn Allen eight, Chris Rodriguez just three in the first half. Opportunities, Tutin 10, C-Rot three, Allen two. So yeah, Tutin is playing well and separating here from Chris Rodriguez. Important note, I think. Chiefs. Chiefs got the cupcake, the non-conference opponent in the dolphins before the real game start. They go to Miami and win 2410. They didn't even play particularly well, but it doesn't matter. The best thing that happened to the chiefs, I thought was they got Rishi rice going more like the Rishi rice of old. He had 37 and a half percent of
the targets here. He's doing the thing where he takes a short pass, racks up the yak finishes with seven catches for 88 yards. Evan anything for you on chiefs win over the dolphins. Not a ton to add to that. Travis Kelsey continues to look good. He only needed two targets in here. He got 59 yards in a touchdown. Kenneth Walker looks great. Patrick Mahomes is balling again. Patrick Mahomes looks like vintage. Patrick Mahomes. Chiefs are three and oh. They face fellow three and oh raiders in Vegas on Sunday. Come more small notes for me on the chiefs. Xavier were these run 99 routes. This season 90 percent of them and he's gotten targeted at decent amount. The result is still 63 total yards. He has not top 25 yards in a game this season. I've just ready to say that Xavier were these not good enough like period like just like not good enough at football to be a real asset. Last thing on the chiefs. I know Kelsey only had two targets here. Man, he looks good. Another
big play 48 yard touchdown reception for Travis Kelsey here in this game. Chargers. Chargers generated five turnovers in Buffalo. They only turned it over once themselves and they still lose in Buffalo. 24 to 16. Evan, the charges are now 0 and 3. The people not just in Los Angeles everywhere. The people want my brother Mike McDaniel. They want his head on a stick. They want Mike McDaniel fired immediately and take all the blame for this start. Another tough loss. Evan, what do you think of Jargers lost this time? Yeah, it's just the most disappointing team in the NFL. Hands down. And I don't really see a ton of light at the end of the tunnel. Nate Tyson was talking about how he thought that O'Marion Hampton wasn't a fit for Mike McDaniel scheme. Then I heard Greg Cosell talking about how he thinks that Justin Herbert is a tough fit
for Mike McDaniel scheme. So at what point does Mike McDaniel need to tweak his scheme to fit the players? Yeah. I think that's valid criticism. When Tua went out, I thought the worst job that McDaniel did in all of his time in Miami was not being prepared for backup, not handling the backup situation well. It's a new situation. Maybe this new situation, he has not handled well either or probably he has not handled well either. They have to play at Seahawks versus Broncos at chiefs in their next three games. I mean, it's really tough. From a usage perspective, the Hampton stuff is concerning. Herbert has dropped back 69 times the last two weeks. Keaton Mitchell leads the running backs and routes with 22. Vidal next with 18. Hampton only 15 routes on Justin Herbert's last 69 dropbacks. Hampton has seen three targets. All season. On top of that, in this game, Hampton only got 15 of 24 running back carries. So like the usage on Hampton
isn't looking great either. Yeah. Yeah. Gatsden ran 28 routes. I actually played some Gatsden. He ran 28 routes. Airballed. Maconky looked healthy. 32 routes. Same as Quentin Johnston, but yeah, it just has not found enough explosive plays. It's really, really, really, really concerning, especially given the schedule coming up. I wonder if they start to give Keaton Mitchell more touches to try to generate some of those explosive plays that they've been lacking. Yeah. I mean, he ran a ton of routes in this game. Maybe Patriots. Really bad game for the Patriots. They are now one and two. They lost in Jacksonville 35 to six. It was so bad after the game. Vray Bull said my concern level is very high for this football team. In three games so far this season, Drake May has taken nine sacks, turned six interceptions and fumbled once in three games. I mean, that is egregious. Evan, any thoughts on Patriots after their horrible loss to the Jaguars?
It's been for an extended stretch. The Drake May has struggled. It's going back to last season in the playoffs. It's about a seven game sample now of Drake May not playing good quarterback. What point do we start to think that maybe Drake May might be an issue? Certainly losing AJ Brown. They were planning to lean on him heavily because they traded the way Keaton Booty. They thought that they had a glut. They were rich, wide receiver. Then he goes out and everything just goes in the crapper. I think the Drake May needs to own some of this. There have been a lot of tough matchups in their Seattle twice. The game against Denver in a snowstorm. It's been going on for a while now that Drake May has been struggling. I still really like Drake May. The criticism of him was that he beats up on bad teams and he struggles against good teams. Against good teams when you roll out Mac Holland's Romeo dobs and pop Douglas as your receivers
and hunter Henry as you're tight end. I don't know what you want him to do really. Obviously he has to take care of the ball better, but I don't know, man. They need to get him more weapons badly. I don't know why they got rid of Keaton Booty. He's just ridiculous, but whatever. Running back was a story coming into this game. Remember Ramondrey Stevenson fumbled in week two. Travion came into that week two game. Broke a big touchdown run. On Sunday, Ramondrey started. Got a catch on the first play. Travion got a carrier on the second play. In the end, opportunities were Stevenson 10. Shredgown Henderson nine. Snaps were 33, 23. In favor of Ramondrey. That's kind of what I think it'll be going forward. That's kind of how we had it projected that kind of evenish split here going forward. The rest of the way. Barring more fumbles from Ramondrey. Agree. Jets. Jets go to Detroit for one of the best matchups they'll get all year. Gino was really good. They lost Breast Haudel a quiet injury. We'll talk about that. They lose the game 31-24, but big time breakouts
for both Garrett Wilson and Kenyan Siddeak in this game. Evan, what do you think of Jets performance against the Lions? Yeah. I mean, the Jets are like low key exciting. I mean, I was just begging for can we just have a functional offense this year. Jets, please. And it's been more than that. It's been more than that. And they were concerned. You know, Frank Wright couldn't had success as an NFL coach in a long time. Gino Smith was horrible with the Raiders last year. You know, I didn't know. I didn't really know what to think, but I love what we've seen from the Jets so far. Their offensive line looks great. I know that Breast Haudel got hurt in this game, but it doesn't sound like it's too severe. It looks like you might get a weaker too of braille an Allen though. That'll be interesting. Kenyan Siddeak, my god, man. What a baller. Yeah. So I do think the Breast injury is worth spending a minute on it. This was a quad injury. The report was it is not as significant of an injury as they initially feared. They're calling him week to week. I'm not sure exactly what
that means. I do want to note that Isaiah Davis has been active for all three games so far this season, but it's played zero offensive snaps. It's been all braille and Allen on offense behind Breast. I'm not sure that will be sticky. Like with Breast out, I think we are going to see Isaiah Davis for more. It's hard to say exactly how much more, but I've always liked braille and as just a really young productive player. He's really big. He's 61235. This is third NFL season. He's just 22 years old. He does have five targets already this season. He hasn't been great in terms of explosiveness in the NFL. His longest career NFL run his 20 yards. He gets the bears and the browns in the next two weeks. I'm actually excited to pick up braille and Allen for these two matchups and see how it goes. It's encouraging to me for braille and that even though I think Davis will play more, he hasn't played a single offensive snap all year. You can read more about that in dagels. Wave or wire article. Yes, Sadeek. He only ran 25 routes on 44 dropbacks even with Omar Cooper,
80 Mitchell and Mason Taylor out. But yes, 71051 on eight targets. That's on 25 routes. Guys, just a total, total free. He has a chance to be special. Yeah. A lot of people had their eyebrows raised over our Garrett Wilson ranking preseason. I think we ran around like 38, 39 or something like that on Garrett Wilson. You can see how good of an NFL player. He is. When Geno can play like this, Garrett Wilson is going to have really good games. Stealers. Impressive win for the Steelers over the Bengals because they did it with offense. 30 points. I mean, they ripped through the Bengals defense. The fantasy story, Evan was Jalen Warren after a literal years of begging for Jalen Warren workhorse role. We get it as Rico Dattle missed this game and Jalen Warren delivered 176 total yards on 20 touches. Actually, should have been way more. He got tripped by the turf going to the end zone. Jalen Warren's just a total smash when Rico is out. I don't know what Rico status is going to be here for week four. Evan, any thoughts on Steelers performance against the Bengals? Yeah. The Steelers, of course,
have the Thursday night game coming up. I don't think the Rico Dattle will be ready for that. So, I think we'll get another full workload from Jalen Warren. This will essentially actually be his third straight full workload because Rico went out early in the week two game. So yeah, I think we'll get a lot of Jalen Warren against the Browns. Yeah. Jalen Warren had 21 running back opportunities. This backup Travis Homer. He had one. I mean, just total domination from a workload perspective on Jalen Warren and obviously a very, very explosive player underlying metrics on Jalen Warren have always been awesome. In terms of the pass catchers, most weeks the offense won't play this well. Like Rogers will not throw for 292 yards and three touchdowns. So the fact that it's so spread out, you know, meccaff and pitman are not dominating targets. We're seeing Roman Wilson and Firemuth and Darnel Washington and Bernard and Skaronsky all get targets. It's just not a great setup for meccaff or pitman. So I'm trying to be lower on these guys on a week to week basis.
Obviously show down the Thursday night game against Cleveland in Cleveland. They will be hot topics. All right. Last team is the Tennessee Titans Titans fall to 0 and 3. They're now 3 and 17 in the cam ward era. They could muster just seven points against the Giants cam ward gets picked off with 24 seconds left in the end zone trying to win the game. Titans have lost the jets, the Eagles, the Ravens. There's just no end in sight or no hope for Titans. Have any thoughts on their latest loss this time to the Giants? I don't have anything interesting to say about the Titans at this point. Tajley Spears got banged up with an ankle injury early. So Tony Pollard got 17 carries. But even if you tell me Tajley Spears is out, I'm not even excited to play Tony Pollard. So and they're at the Ravens next. I mean, really, really tough. All right.
