Teacher-Pastor Arrested for Child Sex Crimes

Former Teacher and Youth Pastor Facing Child Sex Crime Charges: A Shocking Arrest in Wake County, North Carolina

A former teacher and youth pastor from Wake County, North Carolina, is facing over twenty child sex crime charges. Mikah Brondyke, along with his wife Chloe Brondyke, an assistant principal in the same county, were arrested on Tuesday. The arrests were led by the Holly Springs police with assistance from the Franklin County Sheriffs Office.

Mikahs charges include soliciting a child by computer, indecent liberties with a child, and first-degree sexual exploitation of a minor, among others. The seriousness of these accusations has left the local community in shock.

Both individuals held trusted roles in education and youth programs, raising significant concerns about child safety in schools and churches. Parents and officials are now reviewing how such allegations went undetected for so long.

Chloe Brondyke faces felony charges for possessing schedule one drugs and maintaining a dwelling for drug use. The couples arrests underscore the risks even in professional settings.

Mikah is currently being held in the Franklin County Detention Center on a six hundred twenty thousand dollar secured bond. Investigations are ongoing as authorities seek more details.
