0:00It's April 24th. I'm Corey with The Story, and this is Entertainment and celebrity news today, AI-powered and star-driven. Fans of the Bachelorette are buzzing about Taylor Frankie Paul's sheld season, and whether it'll ever see the light of day. ABC yanked it back in March, after a video surfaced, showing her in a heated fight with her ex, Dakota Mortensen, complete with yelling, hitting, and thrown furniture while a kid cried in the background. A top Disney exec, Rob Mills, spilled some tea in an interview, saying the network's top priority right now is making sure Taylor and her family are, good on a personal level. They're taking it one day at a time, still processing the whole mess while eyeing plans for future Bachelorette franchise shows. The drama kicked off with a Utah police probe into a domestic incident last year between Paul and Mortensen, where both through accusations. She got arrested in February on charges like assault and domestic violence around kids, but entered a plea deal that paused the felony case if she stayed clean.

1:03Fast forward to mid-April, and the Salt Lake County DA dropped all charges against her, saying they lacked enough evidence to prosecute. No criminal case moving forward. Meanwhile, Mills left the door open for guys from her unaired season to pop up in the next Bachelorette run, stressing they won real stories with heart. ABCs keeping options wide for fresh journeys ahead.
