About this episode

“There you are surrounded by fans, sharing wings, sharing drinks, high-fiving random strangers. Nobody remembers the guy coughing behind you until a few days later. At 2am, you wake up with the fever and your throats on fire.”From the transcript

Independent journalist Tara Palmeri said she was removed from the Republican Midterm Convention in Dallas and had her press credential revoked shortly after she questioned Republican congressional candidate Robert Burke about the Jeffrey Epstein files. Palmeri entered the American Airlines Center with a valid media credential, accompanied by her producer and three Epstein survivors who had been admitted with guest passes. She said the group was not protesting, carrying signs or disrupting the event. Instead, they spoke briefly with Burke, who told them he supported releasing the Epstein information and wanted to know what had happened. Roughly nine minutes after that exchange, security approached Palmeri, and within about 35 minutes of entering the building she and the survivors had been escorted outside. Palmeri said officials never clearly identified what rule she had violated, and she was later told she could be arrested for trespassing if she tried to return.

The incident immediately fed criticism that Republican officials were trying to suppress uncomfortable questions about Epstein rather than confront them. The optics were especially damaging because Palmeri had been accompanied by survivors of Epstein’s abuse, including Marijke Chartouni, and because the question that apparently preceded the removal was not hostile or disruptive but concerned whether a congressional candidate supported releasing more Epstein records. Palmeri said she repeatedly sought an explanation from the RNC afterward and received none, while the RNC had not publicly explained the decision when the story broke. The episode therefore became about more than one reporter losing a credential: it reinforced the perception that Epstein had become such a politically toxic subject that even raising it at a Republican convention could trigger removal, with survivors themselves being escorted out alongside the journalist asking the question.

What's up everyone and welcome to another episode of the Epstein Chronicles. Yesterday we touched a little bit on Terrapell Mary and the fact that she was kicked out of the RNC. And it wasn't only Terrapell Mary, but it was also a couple of Epstein survivors that were with her. And considering the PR problem they already have when it comes to Epstein, not exactly the best idea that they've ever come up with. Like, can you imagine that security decision? Who made that call? Who was like, you know what? She's asking questions about Epstein. She has to go.

On what planet is that acceptable? And if you think that their opponents, the Democrats aren't going to latch onto it, you're crazy. They will. I mean, look at what's going on down in Texas. Can you imagine if the Democrats flipped that seat? Talk about Bedblem. And I know they don't want to admit it, but this topic is going to cause them great harm during the midterms. And about a year ago, I told you that the Senate was in jeopardy for them too. And people were like, no way. It's impossible that all those seats get flipped. Well, I told you back then that it was going to be an issue. And here we are. And that's because it's an issue. And it's only going to get worse for the GOP with this kind of bullshit. And the Democrats, they're going to latch right on like they're doing. And they're going to try and ride this bad boy all the way home. Now, the one thing I'll caution the Democrats about is don't try and just use this as some kind of ploy because you're going to be held accountable. If you win office, don't think that everything just ends. And we just go away and we don't continue to demand accountability. So you better deliver.

And if you don't deliver, take a look at what's happening with MAGA. Because that's going to be your fate, especially on this podcast, because I don't give a damn about either of those political parties. Neither of those parties has ever done shit for me. In fact, they make our lives worse. They divide us. They, you know, get us grouped into teams and they hurt us wherever they want us to go. Meanwhile, we have real problems that if we came together, we'd be able to solve some of them. But just like with Big Pharma, there's no money in the cure, is there? Today, we have an article from Newsweek and the headline reporter kicked out of R&C over Epstein files question. Imagine being so soft that somebody asks a question and you get so booty hurt that you got to throw them out, call security to deal with these couple of women, pathetic, honestly, pathetic. This article was authored by Alice Gibbs. Journalist Tara Palmerry claims that she was removed from a Republican National Committee event and had her press credential revoked. After questioning a Republican congressional candidate about the handling of files connected

to convicted sex offender, Jeffrey Epstein. Oh, sorry, Mr. Congressman. Is that too much of a hot topic issue for you? Maybe we should talk a little bit more about what? I don't know, the golden age or how great things are going over an Iran. Maybe we should talk about that. These people are so soft and so weak that they have no business holding public office. And you know how I always tell you, well, I'm not an expert in that topic, or this topic, or whatever. Well, this is a topic I am an expert on, okay? You know, went to school for it, got a degree, the whole thing. So when we're talking about political parties, we're talking about this bullshit you see on the campaign trail. And we're talking about the corrupt nature of these people and how they don't give a fuck about you. I'm talking about it from a place of experience. Talking to you about it as somebody who knows. The vast majority of these people, it's not about love of country. It's not about love of district or about what they think they can do to help

their neighbor out. It's all self-serving. What can I do to increase my own stature in my club? And if that means, you know, backing up the president when it comes to Epstein, that's what they'll do. Bunches six sons of bitches who are all for sale. Whether it's to the administration, to a foreign adversary or somebody else, the point remains. Tom Erie said she was covering the Republican midterm convention at the American Airlines Center in Dallas when security personnel approached her shortly after an interview with Robert Burke, or a Republican candidate for Congress and Massachusetts, eighth congressional district, Massachusetts again, huh? The worst state in the union. I'm sorry if you're from mass and that offends you, but your state is a shithole, an absolute dump. And if you want to get away with a crime, that's the state to go to. Ask Karen Reed, ask Lindsey Clancy, ask Whitey Bulger, and I usually don't have anything bad to say about Jerry's, right?

I tried to avoid that, but since that cat's out of the bag up there, the whole entire jury was pretty much corrupt, okay? You want to talk about the holdout juror? What about the free Karen Reed lady? That was runner fat, yeah, all the time, and fucking posting during the trial. Here's an idea, stay off the internet. Catmom, go have some wine, and relax, and unfortunately, the state is filled with people like that. Every time you turn around, when there's a case in Massachusetts, outcome the clowns, and it can all be traced back to the free Karen Reed bullshit, which was all made up anyway. Look, the reason Karen Reed got off is because the law enforcement officials who were involved in that investigation were terrible. Like I told you during that trial, I don't like Karen Reed one bit, and the circus around her is even more off-putting, but they didn't have the goods to convict her. And that's what I said on the podcast. If you can't convince me past reasonable doubt, my emotions don't come into it. I don't

care if I like you personally or not. This is about the evidence. And up in Massachusetts, they did a piss poor job investigating Karen Reed, and I stand by what I said previously with that. If that would have happened in just about any other state, Karen Reed would be in prison right now. The problem in Canton was the investigation. You can show up with red solo cups and collect evidence in those and expect a judge to be okay with it or a fucking jury. I mean, come on. But that's the Massachusetts way, isn't it? According to Paul Mary, she entered the venue at approximately 205 pm with her producer and three survivors of Epstein's abuse. Paul Mary said she had a media credential while each person accompanying her had obtained a guest pass and been admitted to the convention. Why wouldn't you want them to speak, even if you don't agree with what they have to say? You can't be an adult and hear it out. You're an elected official. You'd better be able to take some of that sand. Paul Mary posted footage of part of the

encounter with security on X and describe the circumstances surrounding a removal in her substack newsletter, the red letter. In a later video, Paul Mary said officials did not identify a specific rule that she had violated. Of course not. They can do whatever they want. It's their convention, right? The RNC is not publicly commented on Paul Mary's claims of removal. Newsweek reached out to Paul Mary, Burke, and the RNC by email for comment. What happened to Tarot Paul Mary at the RNC convention? Tarot Paul Mary is an American political journalist and commentator best known for covering the White House, Congress, and national politics. She has worked for major outlets, including ABC News, Politico, CNN, and The New York Post. Paul Mary said she introduced herself to Burke as an independent journalist before beginning the interview. She also disclosed that survivors of Epstein's abuse were accompanying her and described the subject she wanted to raise as a tough question. Isn't that his job as a candidate?

Like you think this is tough? What happens when somebody comes to you and tells you that an American operator has been captured on the battlefield? Now you got to make some hard decisions about policy. You're going to be able to do that, Congressman? What a bunch of soft ass punks. Oh no, you asked some hard questions. We have to throw you out now. According to Paul Mary's account, Burke called Epstein a great topic and said the public needed to know what happened from the beginning. Well, okay. Paul Mary said she asked Burke why more records had not been released, whether it had been no further prosecutions beyond Epstein and Max Well, and whether he would push for additional disclosures if elected. She reported that Burke said he would support releasing the files. Well, that's good. Nothing wrong with that. But will he go through with it? How many times have we heard these people say that they're going to do this or that and then not do it once they get elected? One of the survivors then told Burke that the issue should be viewed as a human rights matter rather than a partisan political dispute.

According to Paul Mary's substat post, well, I agree with some of that. It certainly shouldn't be looked at as a political dispute. But this is more wide ranging than just a human rights matter. And people need to wrap their minds around it. This is not just about the sex trafficking. Of course, that's the most nefarious disgusting part of it and the people that engaged in that shit should have a vacation trip set up to the volcano. But this is much more than just human trafficking. And if you want to hold people accountable, there's one way to do it. Follow the money. This podcast is sponsored by Talkspace. Paul Mary said the conversation lasted approximately eight minutes and ended with Burke shaking her hand and giving the group his card. In her accompanying video, she characterized the exchange as a great dialogue and said Burke invited them to speak again. So who threw them out? Who got them tossed? Was it somebody else? Did somebody else see the interview and decide that they're going to go snitch the security or whatever? Paul Mary said at least three security personnel approach the group shortly after the interview ended. She reported that security asked whether they were carrying signs, which of the group denied? Footage shared by Paul Mary shows her pointing to the group's clear bags and telling security they had no signs. When a security guard said they were not in the area designated for the media, Paul Mary responded that journalists were allowed to speak to guess. Were allowed to talk to people? That's why we're here. We're media. Paul Mary can be heard saying in the footage. Paul Mary said that she repeatedly asked why the group

was being removed but was told that her press credential could be revoked. She said security did not provide a more detailed explanation or identify a convention rule that she had broken. Well, unfortunately, they don't have to do that. Once they rent that space, it's a private event and they can throw out whoever they want. Now it doesn't make a right, but them's the rules. Paul Mary and her producer were escorted toward the exit while the survivors were also directed out of the venue, according to her account. Paul Mary said she tripped and fell on stairs as security escorted her from the building. Well, that's nice. Usher this lady out and try and throw her down the stairs, huh? Bunch of tough guys. By approximately 240 pm, around 35 minutes after entering the venue, Paul Mary said the group was outside the security barricade. She reported being told that she'd been barred from the facility and could be arrested for trespassing if she tried to return. What the fuck are you guys even doing right now? You're going to be trespassed and arrested?

Oh, we're going to send ice after you. Bunch of jerk offs, dude. I swear to God. I'm a journalist. I just wanted to ask them. Paul Mary said in her video, adding that viewers could evaluate the recorded exchanges for themselves. Paul Mary wrote that she subsequently asked an R&C official what rule she had violated, why she had been removed, and why her credential had been revoked. The two-day gathering on September 9th and 10th was the R&C's first midterm convention and was intended to build support for Republican candidates before the November 3rd election. Yeah, they're going to need more than that. Tell you that much. The R&C had expected more than 20,000 people to attend, which would make the event larger than the party's presidential nominating convention in Milwaukee, according to CBS News, Texas. Among the notable moments was a surprise prerecorded appearance by Democratic Pennsylvania Senator John Fetterman, who was introduced to his Republican colleague, Senator Dave McCormick. Trump

also used his nearly two-hour first-night address to propose giving every U.S. adult citizen of $5,000 payment if Republicans retain control of Congress. Well, that shows you how confident he is that they're going to retain control. They're not going to retain control. I think it's almost a foregone conclusion that the House flips, and as far as the Senate goes, there are some very, very hotly contested races. And when I put my political science hat on, I'm telling you right now, Paxton's in jeopardy. Now, does that mean he's going to lose? No. But some of the signs I'm seeing are pretty discouraging for Mr. Paxton. And I think that as things move forward, if Tolerico can capture just a few more percent, things are going to get real, real interesting down in Texas. And as far as a $5,000 payment, shit, I'll take it. I'm not going to sit here and be one of those people acting like he's not going to take it. If everybody else is picking the bones clean, let me get my cut.

The convention generated further headlines on its second day, when Trump led attendees in a mock pledge, to vote in the November midterms, joking that supporters should cheat like hell. As he repeatedly claimed that the Democrats do, on nothing like the president talking stupid, oh well, the Democrats do it, so we should too. Let's all engage in the corruption. Meanwhile, during Vice President JD Vance, keynote speech on Thursday, Members of the crowd chanted JD 48, a reference to a potential presidential bid in 2028. The convention also featured tributes to conservative activists Charlie Kirk on the first anniversary of his assassination. And there's people out there that call that shit Kirk aversory like, what's wrong with you? Honestly. I truly need to understand, what's wrong with people's brains? I don't really care about Charlie Kirk one way or the other, certainly wasn't a fan of his while he was alive. But does that mean you have to run around and be disrespectful?

Do dumb shit like make a video where you're like getting shot in the neck? I find it to be stupid honestly. I don't even find it to be offensive. I just find it to be dumb and pointless. And it takes away from any conversation that you're really trying to have. I know this is going to come as a shock to some people out there, but you know, there's going to be people you disagree with and you're not allowed to kill them. Paul Marys removal occurred amid continued pressure over the government's handling of records connected to Epstein and whether all legally required material has been disclosed. The Department of Justice released more than 3 million pages, approximately 2,000 videos and 180,000 images in January after Congress pressed the Epstein Files Transparency Act. Attorney General Todd Blanche said the department had completed it to review, but lawmakers and journalists have continued to challenge redactions and the withholding of some material. Well, that's because they're lying to us still. And all of these documents should be released. More than 100 lawmakers have signed a discharge petition backing Masses' latest bill,

which would expand legal avenues for challenging the DOJ's handling of the records and could eventually force a vote in the House. Not going to happen. Masses on its way out, they call the recess, I'm sorry, but I have no faith. The Justice Department's online Epstein Library states that officials applied redactions to protect survivors, private individuals, and legally restricted information. It also acknowledges that the volume and material created a risk that sensitive personal information could inadvertently appear in the disclosures. Yeah, only if you're a survivor. Not if you're one of Jeffrey Epstein's fucking buddies, right? One of his Eskimo brothers. Questions about the records had already surfaced around the Republican Convention before a palmarie's removal. Days before the event, a website made to resemble the Convention's Official Site, redirected visitors to the Justice Department's Epstein Library. The RNC said the website was not affiliated with the committee and directed people to the Convention's Official

Website. Now that's pretty funny, honestly, and the GOP has earned all the scorn they're getting when it comes to Epstein. Talk about a bunch of big talk, no walk motherfuckers. The whole last lot of them. And the person that seems to have the most courage out of all these people is Nancy Mace. Imagine that timeline sitting here talking about Nancy Mace being courageous. What a fucking wild time to be alive, folks. But if there's any good news to be had, the good news is, at least we're on this ride together. And like usual, the ride will continue.
