About this episode

Suspense presents “Lazarus Walks,” episode 9, originally broadcast October 1, 1943.

After Roger Holcombe survives a period of clinical death during surgery, he seems to possess an unsettling new relationship with truth and lies. Orson Welles stars as psychiatrist Dr. Graham, with Hans Conried as Holcombe, in this early supernatural-tinged psychological mystery adapted for radio by Robert L. Richards from a story by J. Marion Speed.

Suspense presents the original broadcast with a newly produced contextual introduction, a short closing announcement, and gently cleaned/mastered audio for a more consistent listening experience.
