About this episode

Steelton’s Mayor Ciera Dent is stepping down after five years, calling it the right time for fresh leadership and new perspectives. She credits her tenure with strengthening public safety and building vital partnerships with the borough council, citing initiatives like the public safety walk as proof of her collaborative approach. Though the walk drew modest crowds, attendees praised the community connection. With her final day August 17th and applications for her successor due by August 10th, Steelton is poised to welcome a new mayor ready to steer its next chapter.
