About this episode

Steelers face early-season safety woes as veteran DeShon Elliott, their top tackler and starter, goes on IR—missing first four games despite claiming he’s healthy. With thin depth at safety, Jaquan Brisker and Rayshawn Jenkins must step up. The injury wave continues: rookie Donte Kent (foot) and veteran tackle Jack Driscoll also sidelined for Week 1. But there’s a glimmer: cornerback Joey Porter Jr. is activated and ready to play opening week.
