Story Transcript:

Uk: У весняний ранок, коли сонце тільки-но вище піднялось над Карпатами, група школярів зібралася у туристичному таборі.
En: On a spring morning, when the sun had just risen higher above the Karpaty, a group of schoolchildren gathered in a tourist camp.

Uk: Зелень навколо заспокоювала, а в повітрі витав солодкий аромат розпускаючих квітів.
En: The greenery around was calming, and the air was filled with the sweet aroma of blooming flowers.

Uk: Оксана стояла осторонь, захоплюючись краєвидами і мріючи про свою таємну мандрівку до поля диких квітів.
En: Oksana stood aside, admiring the scenery and dreaming about her secret journey to the field of wildflowers.

Uk: Оксана була цікавою і відчайдушною дівчинкою.
En: Oksana was a curious and daring girl.

Uk: Вона читала про прикарпатське поле, де квіти цвітуть як килим на землі.
En: She had read about a field in the Prykarpattia where flowers bloomed like a carpet on the ground.

En: When the group stopped to rest, Oksana whispered to Iryna about joining her in her search.

Uk: Ірина вагалась, але її турбота про Оксану перемогла страх.
En: Iryna hesitated, but her care for Oksana overcame her fear.

Uk: Вони вирішили обережно зійти з маршруту.
En: They decided to cautiously go off the route.

Uk: Оксана і Ірина обережно пробиралися між деревами, насолоджуючись свободою від шкільної рутини.
En: Oksana and Iryna carefully made their way between the trees, enjoying the freedom from the school routine.

Uk: Незабаром вони натрапили на те саме поле.
En: Soon, they stumbled upon the very field.

Uk: Це було справжнє диво!
En: It was a true wonder!

Uk: Квіти танцювали у вітрі як барвистий килим.
En: The flowers danced in the wind like a colorful carpet.

Uk: Дівчата забули про все навкруги, зачаровані красою.

Uk: Водночас Богдан помітив їхню відсутність і, замість того, щоб піти до вчителів, вирішив сам перевірити.
En: Meanwhile, Bohdan noticed their absence and, instead of going to the teachers, decided to check by himself.

Uk: Він відчував відповідальність за групу.
En: He felt responsible for the group.

Uk: Сонце спускалося, і Оксана з Іриною зрозуміли, що загубили дорогу назад.
En: The sun was setting, and Oksana and Iryna realized they had lost their way back.

Uk: Оксана почала панікувати, але Ірина заспокоювала її.
En: Oksana began to panic, but Iryna calmed her.

Uk: Саме в цей момент з-за кущів з'явився Богдан.
En: Just then, Bohdan appeared from behind the bushes.

Uk: Його поява була як рятівна зірка на вечірньому небі.
En: His appearance was like a saving star in the evening sky.

Uk: Богдан допоміг дівчатам повернутися у табір, коли вчителі вже збиралися викликати рятувальників.
En: Bohdan helped the girls return to the camp just as the teachers were about to call for rescuers.

Uk: Оксана була вдячна Богдану і здобула нову впевненість у собі.
En: Oksana was grateful to Bohdan and gained new confidence in herself.

Uk: Коли все заспокоїлося, однокласники з повагою дивилися на Оксану.
En: When everything settled down, the classmates looked at Oksana with respect.

Uk: Ірина теж почула себе більш впевненою.
En: Iryna also felt more confident.

En: She understood that sometimes risks are worth taking.

Uk: Богдан навчився важливості турботи і співпраці, і став більш чуйним до своїх однокласників.
En: Bohdan learned the importance of care and cooperation, and became more attentive to his classmates.

Uk: Так, у весняних Карпатах, троє школярів повернулися до табору, ставши кращими друзями.
En: Thus, in the spring Karpaty, three schoolchildren returned to camp, becoming better friends.

Uk: І навіть холодний вечір не затьмарив їх теплих спогадів про несподівану пригоду серед квітучих полів.
En: And even the cold evening did not overshadow their warm memories of the unexpected adventure among the blooming fields.
