About this episode

“I've been seeing a lot about the discovery of... I guess it's recent discovery of Noah's Ark, the Mount Ararat. I thought they did this ten years ago, 20 years ago.”From the transcript
Recent reports came out that a team went to the site at Mount Ararat where claims of Noah's Ark rested. They were able to use modern technology and GPR imaging to analyze a bulging region where unnatural geological formation occurred to determine that the anomoly was not natural geological formation, but something of man-made origin. Did they find it was actually Noah's Ark?

Wake up radio network. I've been seeing a lot about the discovery of... I guess it's recent discovery of Noah's Ark, the Mount Ararat. I thought they did this ten years ago, 20 years ago. I think even in the 70s, they thought they found the site and they thought they found what could be Noah's Ark, the resting place, and a shape of some formations on the earth that looked like it could be the hull of a ship. But it wasn't substantiated. And I think there was rumors that the Turkish government would not let people go in there, or archaeology to dig or anything. But since the discovery of new technology and ways to do it without disturbing it,

and I guess with the relationships between the Turkish government, some American Christians and others were able to go back to the site recently and reconstruct the substance of what could hint to being the original Noah's Ark. And there's been interviews by spokesperson, I guess, an eyewitness that helps scan some of the items, some of the area. Lauren Witski, she's made a compelling argument for why this recent project is valid and closer to proof of Noah's Ark, that even claims the atheist archaeologists who have nothing to claim for Christianity agreed that there's a construct of some boat, some vessel.

However, their interpretation is a little bit different. It could have been built by humans someplace along the lines. It doesn't have to be Noah's Ark, doesn't have to be the same depiction of the biblical accounts. But after careful analysis of where each of the holes would be and each of the points of contact for, like, I guess they found metal fasteners with washers that seem to fasten the blocks together of the shape of the ship, it's in deliberate intervals and it's not made by nature, it's human, it's some kind of man-made thing, whether it's really the Ark we have yet to discover. But this Lauren is officially listed as Noah's Ark scans as the director of marketing and fundraiser.

She holds the fundraising for them to go out to do the exhibition expedition. I think that's it. The project is directed in Turkey by Professor Dr. Ken Kerr Atilla, I think his name is. An archaeologist at Civis, Komahayat, New University, I'm going to blow that one, I should have never even tried. But anyway, so when she says they found what they've done is found something that they can claim through scientific analysis of what they found. And remarkably, the physical dimensions of what they found matches that similar to the Bible. This thing was approximately 157 meters, 515 feet long, and it connects with being 300 qubits that's recorded in Genesis 615.

And at the qubit of approximately 20.6 inches, 300 qubits works out to be 515 feet. Incidentally, this isn't just by the Christians, by the way, so I don't want you to think that this is a Christian narrative. This is also by the Turkish people that were there, the atheists that were there. But what's important is that they're radar they used. They weren't able to extract this structure because first of all, it's too fragile, and if it's petrified, it still has a chance of breaking. So they'd have to dig around it and try to do it. And the Turkish government allowed them to come in. See, that's the thing is we were told that the Turkish government guards it and doesn't let anybody near it proving that they don't want to prove it's the ark. But you got to remember Muslims as well as Christians and Jews have it in their doctrines because Muslims believe in Noah too.

They have it in their doctrines. They believe in the part of the Bible's claims of historical accounts as children of Abraham, Hegar, namely, but nonetheless, they just said we can't disturb it. And they have to come up with ways to try to try to stiffen the wood before they try to look further. But what they're able to do is they're able to use GPR radar to analyze. It's almost like an X-ray or an ultrasound to analyze the structure underneath. And they were able to get some sort of reference as with the parallel linear features, the right angles, the corridors, the chambers, the tunnel-like structures, the multiple horizontal levels. There's a central passage that they were able to determine that this was a three-tiered structured boat.

And follows the Bible where it says Genesis 616 says a window shall make to the ark and in a qubit shall finish it above and the door of the ark shall thou set in the side thereof with lower, second, and third stories. You will make it. So this follows the biblical criteria of either a replica or of the original ark. Now, it's originally the team's language was cautious of being biblical because they don't want to make it sound like they're biased. But the scan shows that there's strong subsurface anomalies and layers that no bedrock boundary had yet appeared in the processing data, but specifically acknowledged that failure to see bedrock does not prove bedrock is absent.

The radar anomalies alone don't prove archaeological origin. And there's Dr. Cosgrove Bactar according to the team's October 1st preliminary report Bactar, and now analyzed the specialized radar data. They said they had a conclude that it didn't behave like a continual geological mass. He described it as having deliberate organized corridors, chambers, and hallways rather than geological anomalies that were naturally done. And his conclusion is reported in the project is extremely strong that the subsurface object is organized and structural rather than normal geological mass. And he even reported that this is some kind of ship or spaceship.

He's not discounting the spaceship vessel. He just isn't saying it's necessarily what the biblical Christians think it is, but did conclude that it's either a ship or a spaceship of some kind. Not saying who designed it or who, you know, not taking claim to any origin to know or anything, but it's a man-made structure. So they are kind of determining that part of it at least, and then they're doing soil carbon evidence. What they're going to do if they can is take the decomposing wood and analyze it and actually take elements around it as they can get it out and bring it through a DNA testing, a specific animal DNA testing lab to determine if it was really animals in that arc, in that structure they saw.

And that would be interesting because they said that it would analyze the exact species. She said specifically she cannot determine what variation is because Noah's Ark didn't have every variation. It just had every two of every species or every kind. So it may have had two cats, but not necessarily two cougars, two lions, two, you know, whatever. We don't know that for sure, but you know, that's what we, and then everything mutated from there. You've got to remember, this is like a second creation because the first creation led to this and then Noah's, Noah and his family took one of each kind and re-structure, re-created the population and the animal life. But they did a drilling also. They were able to drill a little bit in to try to see if they can get a recording.

And what they would do is they did a core drilling and they were intending to drop down a drone of some kind, like a hand machine drone, that they could have it go below the surface and take pictures. But unfortunately the sand started caving in and it got jammed up and then water kept coming in it. So they said, let's not keep doing that because they didn't want the site to be contaminated and destroyed. So they had to stop the drilling. They got, I guess four to five meters below the surface. That's as far as the drill went before it broke. But they did speculate from that that it's petrified wood, highly mineralized wood and something, you know, something to that effect. But they don't know exactly what it is. They cannot tell from that. So I'm not saying that's a dud, but they didn't really get much from it. I guess there is pictures of it online. You can look.

But they did report seeing recovered pottery fragments in the area, suggesting that there was people around and that it was something that was, you know, people were there. But to have a, you gotta remember this thing was on a high elevation on Mount Error. They some claim that I think they're claiming that it's not really exactly on the site that it would be if it was Noah's Ark. So people are discounting it as Noah's Ark. They said it would have been much higher up. But there's not a, it's not impossible that wherever the Ark was resting it dropped down a couple of tears over time. And you know settled into where it was. So we got all these things to think about. But they do think that, you know, they hear Mount Error and assume that the formation was on the geographic location itself.

But it's roughly 18 miles south of modern Mount Error. But Genesis doesn't exactly say the Ark landed on Mount Error. It says it rested upon the mountains of Error. And that's plural. So it could have been any part of it. And they argue that being in the era at mountain region doesn't require the formation to sit exactly on modern mountain called Mount Error. You know, like we have the Appalachian Mountains, but it's not necessarily one mountain. It's the whole structure leading right from Pennsylvania to New York. I mean, it's, it's long. Now, there are some issues. A 1996 paper by geologics Lawrence Collins and David Fassold, argued that the formation is a natural geological structure.

And that it's not really a man made ship. And they're, you know, the, it's not just atheists scientists that don't want Noah to be real, because there's creationist geologists who have rejected this as the Ark. So there are biases on both sides. So we can't say that it's just the secular scientists denying it, but we also can't say that the secular scientists didn't confirm it because there's some that did. This 2026 resurface or subsurface data has at least successfully distinguished an artificial structure from a geological area through the processes of their experiments to determine enough that they do think that this is possibly if not Noah's Ark, at least an Ark.

The same size as Noah's Ark and having the same description. So I guess you could be the judge. I can't say nay or EA because I'm not really there. But you know, at first I was skeptical because I'm like, oh, where they resurfaxing the old, the old stories that they said they found archaeological information. And they're just basically regurgitating, recycling the news and making it modern or did something else happen. And I guess this is a newer expedition. And they are discovering new things with new technology. So it's resurfaced and it's still a possibility. So I'm going to leave it open and see where it goes from here. In the meantime, just you can either believe it or not and take it for what it is. All right. Thanks for listening. We'll see you next time.
