SpaceX Engineer Dumped Murdered Wife’s Naked Body in Driveway

Authorities have charged Samuel Whitmore, a 34-year-old former SpaceX engineer, with the murder of his wife, Margo, following a horrific discovery at his parents' home in Maine. Police found Margo's unclothed body in the driveway and the suspect's mother critically injured inside the house. Despite a public image of a perfect life filled with global travel and high-level professional success, the couple’s marriage ended in this sudden act of violence. Due to the suspect's behavior and the bizarre nature of the crime, a judge has ordered a competency evaluation to determine if Whitmore is mentally fit to stand trial. Legal experts suggest that his impressive background and active social media history may complicate potential insanity defenses. Currently, key investigative details and the official cause of death remain under seal while the legal proceedings are paused for psychiatric assessment.
