It's time for the 6th and 6th on KCMO talk radio. Number one, top of the list, pastor Adam Hamilton Church of the Resurrection is in the United States Senate race. He will run as a Democrat against, well, if he wins the primary Roger Marshall coming up this fall and pastor Hamilton will be on this show at 830 this morning right here on KCMO along with not with her, but Laura Kelly. Governor Candace will be here at 8 o'clock. Number two, all right. In Liberty, this is getting some action. A massage therapist has been charged after client reports sexual assault.

1:01According to court records, 56-year-old Tong Fu has been charged with one fell in account of second-degree Sodomy in connection with a reported incidence at many massage on Reed Street in Liberty. Now to be clear, Fu is a female and allegedly pulled down the client's shorts and touched him inappropriately without his consent. The client told police that he immediately left the business and reported the incidence. So that in Liberty. Number three, next up in our six six, a sad news in LenExa. As the fire department is mourning the loss of one of its own department announced yesterday that engineer Sean O'Brien died off duty on Monday. O'Brien had worked for the LenExa fire department since 2015. The department said that out of respect for O'Brien's family, no other information will be shared at this time and the funeral services have yet to be announced. Number four, next up an update from the Kansas State fraternity.

2:07We're Jack Flyshacker, 19 years old, fell from a second story window and died in the last few days. We now are learning that the incident which occurred early on Saturday comes from the same fraternity in 2022 at KU, the Sigma Chihouse that was shut down by the national organization for participating in years of hazing activities and lying about it to national leaders. Now what's happening at the K state Sigma Chihouse and the KU Sigma Chihouse may not have anything to do with each other. However, it is notable that this same fraternity at KU was shut down for hazing a couple of years ago when this happens at Kansas State just a few days back. Is there a connection there? I don't know the investigation into Flyshacker's death is still being investigated by Riley County authorities, but it is notable. Number five, next up in the six six gas prices, surging here in Kansas, a Missouri.

3:17The average price in Kansas hit 376 a gallon of Missouri. It's 383. That's an 80 cent jump since the war in Iran began in late February. The national average is now 430 a gallon that is the highest in four years. Number six and chiefs rookie mini camp. Let's go there. Chiefs announcing Jersey numbers for the rookies. Then sword delaying number five Peter Woods number 99 and our Mason Thomas number 34. Those are the defensive numbers that you want to keep an eye on.
