Should NHL Stars Stop Taking Discounts? + Expansion to Europe?

Should NHL stars take every dollar they can, or leave money on the table to help their teams win? Jason Gregor and Jeff Marek dive into one of hockey's biggest offseason debates as they discuss the NHL salary cap, player contracts, and whether stars like Connor McDavid, Macklin Celebrini, and future superstars should ever accept discounts.

The guys also discuss Morgan Rielly's future with the Toronto Maple Leafs, the Canadiens' situation with Arber Xhekaj, free agent goaltenders still searching for contracts, the growing conversation around NHL expansion into Europe, and why several NHL teams are abandoning dedicated radio broadcasts.

Plus, thoughts on the Hlinka Gretzky Cup, the next generation of NHL prospects, Columbus Blue Jackets contract questions and Bill Daly's comments on the NHL's "inevitable" expansion to Europe.
