Good morning, everyone and welcome to this weekend episode of the Maritime Warning. Brief brought to you by the Meringue Exchange of Puget Sound. I'm your host Sarah back again this morning bringing you the essentials on vessel movements and maritime conditions today in Washington. It is Saturday September 26th, 2026 and today we are anticipating the arrival of seven vessels. This is expected to include two tankers, one container ship, three passengers and one ATB, we're also expecting the departure of six vessels including one container ship, three passengers, one tanker and one row row. For today's tides in Seattle we will have high tides at 0512 and 1725 with low tides at 1114 2347. For the weather we're expecting a high of 61 degrees and a low of 50 degrees here in Seattle
with variable winds of five knots or less and cloudy skies. This is the weekend episode so now I'm going to cover tomorrow feel free to stick around or tune back in. Tomorrow is Sunday September 27th, 2026 and we are anticipating the arrival of 12 vessels including three bulkers, five tankers, two container ships, one passenger and one vehicle carrier, we're also expecting the departure of three vessels including one passenger, one tanker and one vehicle carrier. But ship schedules are dynamic, they are subject to change throughout the whole weekend so if you need more up-to-date information please log into our AIS feed check out the daily paper or call into the operations center. For tomorrow's tides in Seattle we will have high tides at 0558 and 1749 with a low tide at 1151 for the weather we're expecting a high of 62 degrees and a low of 50 degrees with winds from five to seven knots and sunny skies in the afternoon then partly cloudy in the evening.
For our sign-off here I just wanted to do a quick update on arrivals as of Thursday we are at 2047 arrivals in 2026 which is 120 more than this time last year when we were sitting at 1,927 for the category breakdown that looks like bulkers up from 242 to 280 container ships are even at 560 general cargo down from 66 to 47 others down from 49 to 29 passengers up from 273 to 308 ro ro ro up from 75 to 82 tankers up from 373 to 434 ATBs down from 74 to 69 in vehicle carriers up from 215 to 238 of course if you want more info on those reach out to us and we will get you all that we can't with that I'm going to sign off for today's episode thank you for coming to join me and I look forward to seeing you all bright and early again Monday morning.
