En: Nadav and Shira sat in the shade of the Etzba HaMelah by the Yam HaMelah (Dead Sea).
He: חֹם הַקַּיִץ הָיָה כּוֹבֵשׁ.
En: The summer heat was oppressive.
He: הַמַּיִם הַמְּלוּחִים נוֹצְצוּ תַּחַת שֶׁמֶשׁ זוֹרֵחַת, וְהָרִים חוּמִים בָּקְעוּ מִן הָאוֹפֵק.
En: The salty waters shimmered under the blazing sun, and brown mountains emerged from the horizon.
He: נְדָב, בָּחוּר חָתִיךְ וּמִסְתּוֹבֵב בְּמְקוֹמוֹת שֶׁל סִכּוּן, שָׁמַע סִפּוּר בָּרִמּוֹנְט בִּקְרָב יוּתֵר מָקוֹם.

He: שִׁירָה, מֵקִיפָּה וּבַרְנִינִית, נִטְיַשׁ הִשְׁתַּנֵּתָה, בְּלִי עֲצָתוֹת בְּדָרְכֵי נְדָב.
