This is the Not on a Forest match reaction and all Arsenal preview. We're going to roll it all into one. It's a quick turnaround, isn't it? So we thought we'd roll it all into one and get out there before Wednesday night, because yes, that is a big night football could be on both ends of the table. Well, actually, more so European qualification potentially Jack with a win back to back wins now. Let's raise the roof.

2:05Is this the way to Barcelona? Is this the way to Amarillo? Yeah, so yeah, Jack, a big, big win back to back wins. Yeah, I guess not a first. First of all, actually, how are you? How's things? Yeah, good, good. I had a lovely day at the football yesterday. I got really wet watching my brother do the half marathon. Did he bend? No proof that he completed the marathon? He wasn't participating. He was watching. I thought he was in it. No, no, he was watching his girlfriend and his brother. Well, that's a bit shit, isn't it? No congratulations to Ben and congratulations to everybody else in his life. So a lot of people I know who were running in a marathon, so shout out to everybody who did the half marathon, half marathon, big shout out to him. And yeah, that had a nice day and I waited right by the beginning. So I could see my brother beginning and then go to the pub. One of my mates did it in like one hour twenty six. So I could actually see him finish and still get to the pub for opening.

3:07And so thank you to my friend Matt for doing it in a very quick time. Yeah, that is a very good time. I think that's like, everybody's saying a big time. That's a serious time. I'm a casual runner, Jack. And I'll be doing a few five Ks this week, the last week even. And yeah, got my time down to like five fifty and I think your mate would probably be averaging about four twenty. Yeah. Which is insane. Something like that. Insane. Insane speech. I've already done to everyone in the right and half marathon. And Jack, I am a little bit under the weather. This is cold. It's just not left me for like two weeks now. It seems to like go and go in waves as in like I feel all right one day and then the next day I feel like absolutely crap. So fingers crossed. Covid twenty six. Yeah, I don't know what a hell it is, but it's just not leaving my body. So hopefully I'll feel a bit better soon. And yeah, let's get into it, Jack. Forrest, big win, two one. Great first half. It all kicked off in the first or first fifteen minutes, didn't it? Yeah, yeah. It all went off. But unchanged, Jack.

4:08Yeah, potentially the first time he's been listening. He's been listening. He's been listening, Fabian. I think we actually mentioned that. Then we ended. Yeah, I wanted to go on change and I thought it worked really well. You know, we've got a week between games. There's no need to rest players. He's going to have to change it midweek, obviously. But you know, like it was good to keep that kind of rhythm when you were we were doing everybody had their roles. I think Milner put another really good shift as well. So fair play to Hammer's mill now. Yeah, and I think it was really good in that sense. He did the correct thing. Yeah, Gomez put in a really great performance, a player who people love to hate. We for it right back, I think we'll get on to. Nottingham Forrest goal where he obviously made a bit of a booby, but. Yeah, like I think he did well overall in the whole game. Yeah, yeah. No, it was yeah, I was happy with the untrained eleven. I thought I thought it worked well. Yeah, you could see that the energy of Gomez causing them a lot of trouble. And then, yeah, two, two good goals in their own respect, really.

5:11Well, sorry, three good goals got to give credit to. Three very good goals, all very different goals. Actually two sort of similar Gomez and Gibbs White in terms of like the technique and the distance kind of thing. But then well, but yeah, great bit of play, great first touch and a great finish. So yeah, of course, we're going to dissect them a little bit more. But yeah, Jack, how important was it to get those back-to-back wins? Yeah, yeah. How important was it to get back-to-back wins? Because yeah, we have had a terrible run, one game, one winning 14 games prior to the two back-to-back wins now. Or be it against a struggling Nottingham Forrest side. But also a high flying Frankfurt side. So two sides of the coin there. Yeah. How important was it to get those two wins back-to-back? I mean, it's big really, isn't it? Because also we can start looking up the table rather than down, which is really important. I think that now puts 12 points between us and West Ham down there. So you know, that's quite a big gap. I don't think it's fully light. I think we don't win another game. Our season will still be looking over our shoulder a little bit.

6:12But you know, it gives us a bit of breathing room, doesn't it? And it takes a bit of pressure off what is going to be quite a tough run of games. Because I think we've got what Arsenal, Sunland away, which they have lost there now. But you know, they've not lost many at the stadium of light. And then Liverpool at home. And then we've got the international break. So it might have ramped up the pressure a little bit. But we're definitely going back round to being in a better position in that way. So that's really good to see. Yeah. And I think it's good for confidence, the whole squad. It's amazing what a little bit of confidence does. Look, I don't think we should be getting as much of a joke to the game. You know, Europe again, LA or LA. But it's, it's, I don't want, I don't think we should be getting to ahead of ourselves. There's still quite a big gap to make up. Although we are only four points away from Walker potential six off Brentford in seventh. Yeah, six off Brentford in seventh. And then only actually like three points off of Everton in eighth, which is another,

7:13which could potentially be conference league football, depending on how the cups go. So there's not that, you know, there is some sort of respite there. But for me personally, I think it's a little bit too far away from us. And I think we should just concentrate and finish it as high as we possibly can, which I think we're well on our way to doing. And then sort of reassess at the end of the season. I don't think Fabian's fully out of the woods yet in terms of like, I still think there's some interesting signs that we've basically done exactly the same things we did last season, which was, you know, going through a terrible run. And then win a couple of games on the bounce, maybe more. So I think you definitely need to sort that out. But yeah, look, it's great. I'm back to back. It's a bit of confidence. Great. So we march back amongst other things. And, you know, it's all is looking good. Yes. Yeah. And then inevitably it's going to go all wrong. Yeah. No, no, I'm joking. Let's roll a coaster, isn't it? Exactly. Exactly. No, no, I agree.

8:13I agree. I think it's great to see a bit of consistency. First of all, in lineups, in performance. I think just to have a bit of a couple of runner games where we're actually looking quite solid at the back. We're looking good going forward. You know, this is, it's the basic things that we've been screaming out for, isn't it? Yeah. Last couple of weeks. And it seems like just slowly, maybe. Again, I agree with you. I don't think hers has sort of, you know, turned it all round and it's all everything's rosy again. I think there's still obviously a lot of things that we need to work on. A lot of things we need to improve on. I think a few of the players as well need to raise their performances a little bit. But I think in general, generally speaking, these past two games, you've seen a huge improvement, I think. And I think that is down to knowingly bringing in the experienced players, you know, that core of, you know, Milner started from the off. I think he brings a lot of experience. But also just, yeah, doing the simple things right, you know, that, I think, again, there's a little passage of playing that first half where, when Matoma, when he should have scored. Like that, again, that, that, that little one touch passing. Yeah. Great to see.

9:13It was like, it was at a brighten of old. And like, I think we missed that for a long time. So there's, there's signs, which I'm, I'm really happy about. So let's, let's go on to the first goal. Jack. Yeah. The Gomez goal. Six minutes in. Absolutely. Great for, again, for talking to confidence. We'll do wonders for a team to score that early. And yeah, what a great strike it was. Old, old. Yeah. And he was very much instrumental in not only battling for the ball in the first place, but then, yeah, then obviously being scoring the goal. So the fact finishing it. Yeah, exactly. Yeah. So like, you know, he's battling for the ball. I don't know if I think it was Williams who had a bit of a stinker. And then gross. Obviously passes it onto him and then he strikes it. And yeah, well, great strike it was, Jack. Got a foot like a traction engine. And he's like, it's, he hit that like, um, he hit that. I don't know. I was trying to think of the Alan Partridge quite there, but I couldn't. He got off it. Yeah. There was no, yeah, a foot like a traction engine. That'll do. And he did it. Just, he just hit it as hard as he can. And, you know, Gomez, such a like interesting finisher, isn't he?

10:13Like, he scored some of the, you know, you can have a highlight. This season of like Gomez goals. Like, they all seem to have been pretty good. Um, and then I'll say our second new segment, Jack. Gomez goals. Yeah, Gomez goal of the season as well as goal of the season. Um, yeah, I feel like that should be a good idea because then you can have a separate award because there's been any other podcast slash the club. Don't steal that idea because we know where it's come from. Yeah, exactly. The Gomez goal of season and the goal of the season. But yeah, no, it was, it was really positive, wasn't it? And we sort of, you know, he hits it really well. I think maybe the keeper could have done better with it. But also, I think a lot of that. Yeah. The mistake has come from the power he's hit it with. So that he's had to get down quickly. Cells had a funny game, actually. I felt like he was injured all game. Um, I don't know why they didn't come all this. Yeah. Either they just don't rate Angus Gunner tall law. Well, it's funny. It wasn't because I mentioned, uh, in the preview. Come on. I said about the defense.

11:13About, uh, I don't know for us. The fence feels like it's improving or with cells coming back. Yeah. Funny enough. Actually, uh, Williams was pretty poor in the goal. Yeah, yeah. And cells as well. So yeah, that didn't work out. Hot take. I've, I've never been impressed with, uh, Williams against. I'm interested. No, never, never, never want to catch the eye. I think he's, maybe not against us. But I feel like he is pretty solid for them. Yeah, yeah, he is. He's never impressed with us. You probably paid well in the seven nil, but I'm, I'm just blanking out from my mind. Yeah. Um, but yeah, I think that was, and he sort of set the tone. I think of the good way to start because they had a couple of chances very early on. Um, and they did look like they were, they were pushing on the pressure. But I think we gave away corner quite early, didn't we? Um, so it's good to sort of just basically say, like, bang, right. We're here. This, this is how this starts. Um, and then it ended up being a bit of a mad sort of 10 minutes after that. Really, didn't it? Yeah, because, you know, we conceded that goal and, and then it all started going a bit topsy-turvy. But, you know, great finish by Gomez. And actually, like, shout out to Gomez because the last three Premier League games,

12:15uh, we'll forget about the cup, because I think I drank too much and don't actually remember what happened in most of the game. But, um, the last three Premier League games, he's putting a really solid performance, like, probably, like, borderline man of the match performances in all three games. Um, and I think it's work rate. And it is one of these players who just gets so much stick online. I just don't get it. Like, I just, you know, I think people just, is one of these players. I think he's probably a bit like Dale Stevens, although when he's playing out wide, I kind of get, because he haven't got paste. That is his downside. But what he brings in work rate, and it does sort of create an overload on the other side. It gives Matona the space because they're chasing after him with a wing and sort of keeping a line in him. And it's sort of, yeah, it sort of gives him the opportunity to work hard and, and create these chances and score them. I've actually got a bit of a theory about why he might get a bit of hate because it's, it's very similar to Weefer. And I feel like it's, you know, it's, but Herzler putting, trying to put, it was it square pegs in round holes. Yeah. Obviously Gomez on the right wing. And then Weefer at right back, look, me personally, and I've, I've been very vocal about it.

13:16I'm not fan of Weefer at right back. I'm, I'm just not. No matter how many people tell me, oh, he's, he's actually very good. We're better with him when he starts. And actually, statistically, we are, he's, he's now playing two games back to back and we won both. So, yeah, you know, that, that does definitely back off that kind of argument. I just don't, he's just not the answer for me. Like, he's just not the answer at right back. And fair enough, if it works, it works in the season great, you know, stick, stick with it. No problem. But similarly to Gomez, everyone moans about Mint and not being like right wing. And I think maybe that's, that could be a potential why fans aren't, you know, really jelling with the idea of Gomez being out on the right hand side. Even though he's actually, like you said, genuinely, being one of our best players in the last five to ten games, I think, I think he's done a stellar job there, just that energy, I think gives that energy, that work rate, I think, but, but I think what's a bit unfair with Minter, for example, when I could probably on some way, if he is frustrated why is because he actually was, his work rate was second to none, I thought when he played, you know, he was running up and down that wing, but then maybe his end product, you could argue is worse than going up. Yeah, I think that's been a little bit of the problem of Yankee with Minter.

14:18Look, I like the player. I think he's good. We'll have the guy in the comments moaning about Yankee with Minter again, like saying that we all hate him. I just don't think he'd been performing recently. And I think it was the right thing to bring Gomez into the team to allow him to sort of fulfill that role. You know, Minter was, he's quick, he works hard, but he wasn't creating anything. And, you know, two goals and two games now for Diego Gomez and probably should have had one against, or deserved one against Villa for just his work rate. It's sort of justifying why Fabian Herzler does that. He for the very different story, and that's probably a great segue to go into Forest Goal, because we for did get absolutely sent to the shops for that. I think they actually, it was quite a clever sort of dummy by there. I don't know who gave the dummy, but he said to Eagle Haysus, yeah, it was a... Yeah, Eagle Haysus. I think not about the only thing he did all game. Eagle Haysus obviously had a busy day on a Sunday today, because like, yeah, he, he's

15:23pretty useless. So he obviously had a busy morning as Jesus does most Sundays, but he, yeah, the second goal, we for did get skinned. And I think for his overall performance in the game, Max Weaver, was really good. He cut inside. He was almost instrumental at times. I think he's going forward. Yeah, I should just say, I think going forward, he's really useful. And I really like that extra body, you know, when we are going forward. It's just a fantasy. That's my gripe with him. Yeah, of course. He knocked it out. Yeah. And he got, he got caught out in that, in that situation. And yeah, I think with Weaver and Duncan, that sort of left side of the fence roll, it can, I'm sorry, right side of the fence. Oh no. Van Heck and Weaver on the right side of the fence. I mean, it doesn't really matter whether it's Duncan Van Heck, because they're both pretty slow. It doesn't mean that we have quite a slow back line. And that can often leave us, you know, sort of desperately running backwards, because we fizzle at someone getting behind.

16:23And then that's, to be fair, fair play to Morgan, give to White, because that was an absolute screamer of a finish, like, you know, T.T. and the squares on that. It was almost like Diego Gomez is just not quite as skilled and not as far back. So obviously he's still win to award on that one, but, you know, it's, um... Hi friends. 18:31on the train. I'll do my shout out now. Met a guy in a pub, Prince Albert, who listens to the podcast, came from Boston for the legend. Sarah Hill. Shout out to Sarah Hill and the Red and Boston Seagulls and apparently there's like 40 of them. They watch it in Brighton in Boston, anyway, good guys, nice guys showed him all the good places to get Guinness in Brighton. I'm sure he'll appreciate the shout out, but I said to him, he said, what do you think of Weeper? I just thought I said, I just think he's crap all round and I don't think he's that good in midfielder and I don't think he's the future at right back, but he does a pretty good job there for now. I don't think he's ever quite got with the pace of the game in this country and whereas in midfield, he's never quite got with the pace of the game, allowing him to go right back sort of allows him to maybe where he is more adjusted to the pace and he can sort of do his talents there. So, I don't think he's the long-term answer, but he's definitely the answer for now.

19:34Yeah. I mean, I think to the end of the season, if that's how hers will have used him, I'm all good with that. And as well, he got booked and had to be taken off, which is also a negative of the performance. Not to be too negative. He does get quite, he does accumulate quite a few yellows, doesn't he? Yeah, yeah. Back to back, he's done it. He's got a yellow card. I think he got injured and had to be taken off. Another just like horrible red flag over Weeper is the injuries just keep on occurring again and again and again. And Veltman came on and did a good job for the last 10 minutes and I do like that little combo of Weeper on for like 60 and then Veltman on for 30, but it ultimately takes away one sub that you're going to have to make every single game that you know you're going to have to make. So, there is that problem of it. 100%. Yeah. And like I said, it was one of those goals, you had to put your hands up really, didn't you? And sort of like, yeah, fair play. You know, you can't really do much about those ones. No, it's great. Morgan Gibbs. But all right, just quickly. Uh, Sydney's the only thing that's 18 games is I have six yellow cards. Which is pretty insane.

20:35Yeah, yeah. Exactly. I mean, Dunk is no only one yellow card away from a too much ban. Yes. I've seen those, which is a little bit of a worry, isn't it? Yeah. That hex got seven. Yeah. We got gammes on six. I think Labour on five, we've only got two more games until it resets, I believe. Oh, sure. Well, no, no, no. Actually, anyway. I think about that. We're quite dirty team. Looks like. Yeah. Yeah, great goal. One of those things you can't really avoid. But Jack, what I was really impressed about was our response to that. Because what, three minutes later, we ended up scoring. So yeah, I think that's what impress me most. Obviously, disappointed as to see the goal. So early on in the game, I suppose. But then for us to give that response, I think that's what I was really most happy about. It was the fact that we went on the attack again. We tried, we didn't sort of, not that we would, but we didn't sit back, we didn't invite pressure, so to speak. It was more so, we went on the attack, we went on the front foot, and we got the dividends from it pretty much instantly. And yeah, like I said earlier, great first touch from World Cup.

21:37Great finish. Again, could you argue cells maybe doing a bit better? Yeah, I actually think it was a good finish by the way. Yeah, good finish. Yeah, on the turn, like lovely little finish. Hit it down into the ground. It's a great way to finish in it. It's probably the best way to do it. Because then it bounces over the keeper. Yeah, I just think it was just really good play. Lovely crossing from, I think it's the metoma was it in that all the cadioglues? No, it wasn't the other, it was on the right hand side, right? The ball came into it. Yeah, it was. Left hand side. No. No, left. So you left them right, put it down on the pitch, came from the left. Oh, okay. And then the Hinchwood headed it down. Oh, sorry, sorry, sorry. Sorry, that's what I meant. 22:38sort of feeling a bit shaky. It was like, right, let's go on the attack again. It's first half, let's get back in front. And yeah, a great cross over to Hinchwood. He rented it down and well bet, you know, a lovely little turn and finish. And you know, a fantastic goal. And what's the start now, sir? He scored, he scored 10 plus goals back to back seasons. Only player, I think over the age of, was it 34? Something like that. Yeah, him and Varney, the only two players to do it. He's the first Brighton player to do it since Glen Murray. Look at that. There you go. It's a good company, that, isn't it? Yeah, a good company. Great, great company. And it was great to see him amongst the goals. And yeah, hopefully he had a few more to the end of the season as well. Maybe get a tally to like 15. 20. Imagine 20, John. 20. Imagine 20. 20, you'd have to score a goal again for the rest of the season. Listen, Danny Wellbeck, I've got faith in you, mate. Yeah, yeah. Start, start Arsenal Wednesday. Get him on that plane. Yeah, exactly. So the world can't. Generally, there's a lot of shouts for who goes to back up Harry Kane, doesn't it? Yeah. Dominic Hammett, Lewin playing well, Danny Wellbeck playing well.

23:39He'll want to go. I mean, it could be one of the, it will be probably the last world cup he ever gets. Oh, yeah. So I've been great to see him go, wouldn't he? Because let's be real. Like English strikers, apart from Harry Kane, there's not much that's many. The two, the two options that really stand out for me to go to the world cup are, are Calvin Lewin and Danny Wellbeck, really. They're the two options, really, aren't they? And Calvin Lewin's getting on a little bit, isn't he? He's not, no, spring chicken, is he? So he's not, no. Depends on your asking, really. But yeah, yeah. And then, where are we now? Oh, yeah. And then, yeah, I'm just called Farragot. And then just a crookie, Jack. Second opposite. Well, I'm going to say, we actually played really well for the rest of the first half. Should have got third. Motoman did a great little move through. And then Hensha would have had a great header, well saved by Matt Cells, so fair play to him on that one. But yeah, could have been essentially three, four, one. Yeah. Yeah. Probably should have been. Yeah. There you go. So it's disappointing not to be further ahead into half time. Yeah. And again, that's a testament to sort of, you know, we've struggled

24:42with goals, we've struggled, you know, we've conceded a lot of goals. So we really go forward. Yeah, look at our blast, what, five, six games, we've lost 1,0, 1,0, 1, all, 2, 1, 1, all. And like, yeah, to get two goals now, back to back, it's all on the upward trajectory. So it's all great. And yeah, second half, Jack, I know you said that you can't remember a chance they had. So, yeah, it felt like we did well, we did well, defensively. Yeah. Second half. And then one of the solutions, he sort of trusted the team, didn't he? It was only until late. But it seems like he, both, I remember, both Brentford and Brighton now, sorry, Brentford and Forest, sorry, he's, he's left the substance, substance quite late on, which was a bit of a worry to me when we're not like in real time, I was like, why are we not making change? I felt like we need to, especially at Brentford. But it feels like he's sort of now trusting that the 11th is out there and they're only bringing on players if he really needs to, like you said, with a weeper, you know, yellow injury, sorry. And then yeah, you know, he's only making change if he has to

25:43really. Well, that was quite interesting as well in the second half. Yeah, definitely. Like I think he's trusting the team more at the moment. And yeah, I do think we, we, we were guilty in the last couple of games before this and maybe overcomplicating subs a bit and trying to sort of change too much at once. And, you know, bringing on a couple of players like, you know, you know, when we were sort of changing whole formations in that sort of 70 minute period, he has kind of a bit more basic, the players are doing well, why change it? If the players are solid, especially in midfield, because I think midfield's been a real problem for us. Sorry, I keep on getting like a hiccup. I ain't my dinner too quick with the other thing. I think people mention that on the course. Yes, someone mention that in a comment. I've got like a hiccup at the moment and probably from talking too much. And so, but yeah, it's, it's, we seem to be controlling the midfield a lot more, which is strange considering that Carlos Belieber is not in the team, but, you know, in the present about Milner and Gross and, and who else, and, and

26:44Hinchaw would, I mean, Hinchaw would in the sort of hybrid 10 nine role where he sort of just kind of runs around a lot and, and just kind of, he's almost like an agent of chaos, isn't it? That's what they call it. And I think he's working really well at sort of giving us a good standing there and it's making us concede less chances and maybe be a bit more solid in defense. There's less of, you know, us suddenly being in a position where Duncan Van Hex and Lea are sprinting backwards desperately trying to stop a goal. So, yeah, I think we did really well. I think we really contained Forrest's threat. And it reminded me when we played Forrest probably two seasons ago, so not last season, season before, under the Derby. They had so many options that they could bring on, make sounds, bring people on. And they just created nothing really with it. I mean, yes, they had a couple of, they had a, a great free header for, for, I can never say this guy's name. Are you on me? Are you on me? Yeah. Yeah. See, you didn't mean you couldn't say it. And, you know, they had a good chance of him there, a bit of a gold mouth scramble, which I was, as that was happening, I was

28:48changing your entire team, every window it feels like, because you've got a new manager who wants to do something else, you, you've got a kind of like, I don't know, I find it all a bit like, bizarre. It's, wait, he talking about us or for us. For us, for us. Yeah. But the one I'm going to make is that we also have a new squad pretty much everything. We do, we do. But for us, more so, like they've, like, they're that quiet guy. When they first went out, they signed up 25 players. 25 players and they do seem to be going through the manager. And if it, it looked very much like a team that's been told to play in four different styles at different points this season. And none of them seem to be quite jelling properly. I think there's some very good players in that for a side who, look, humbly, I'll say, I don't think that for a squad should be playing as badly as it is. Mad seems to have disappeared very briefly there. But he, um, yeah, he, he's muted as well. So no, sorry. I'll just get my charge. You carry on, mate. 29:48that squad who are much, much better than their position allows them. You know, Morgan Gibbs, why Elliot Anderson, you know, they're very good players. Hey, they're starting. It's not 11. It's really strong. Whereas they look at it. Yeah. Yeah. And I think they should be playing at a much higher level. So credit to us for doing that. Like, it might seem like an easy win because of their position in the table. But I think they've got a much better squad than that. And as well, they've got a new manager. So a new manager bounce, which is always a, um, a thing, isn't it? So, you know, we have to, um, Jack's now having another hit cup. So I'll say, I'll say we hit Jack. But, um, just final thing on the game, Jack. Um, yeah. You mentioned it earlier. The return of solid mark. Oh, yeah. Um, so that was always positive. You know, albeit what the final five, 10 minutes. Um, but still him coming back was a bit, a big boost. I suppose for him. The squad. And Ursula described him as, uh, which I was a bit over the top. But he said he was the best play, one of the best plays in the Premier League before his injury. Yeah. Well, okay. Not before the second injury, but before the first injury.

30:49I don't. Premier League. That's pretty mental. The best in the Premier League is a little bit insane. But I will say that he was at the very, very top of his game. No, I've been in the England squad. He should have been in the England squad. No, I agree. I agree. He was fantastic. Just, I, I thought it was a little bit, it's a bit much when he said, yeah. One of the best players in the Premier League. Look, he was fantastic. He did have that unbelievable run. I remember. He was like, top, top, top, top. And a lot of teams. Yeah. I'll be honest. I thought I'd never see Sully Marks play a game for us again to be brutally honest. Like free ACLs is a hell of a lot to come back from. So all credit to Sully for that. Um, and when he appeared becoming on, I was starting to go, no, no. I think this is the wrong substitution. Like I don't think this is the, this is the right move because he's not fully fit. And he came on and he proved me wrong. And Ursula proved me wrong in that sense because he did really well when he came on.

31:49He won that foul, started, you know, he sort of stretched it game a bit in a role that I thought Minter would do and I thought he did really well. So yeah, it was good to see some of the old guard and we sort of have these players who were in their prime age really and trusting them with it. And it kind of summed up how the whole game went really that, you know, the old guard sort of saved us. Really. Yeah, for sure. No, um, it was a great see Sully back and hopefully he can rekindle that form that we did see the first time Ryan before his second injury, like you said, Jack. Because yeah, the last comeback wasn't great. But hopefully, you know, we'd better this time round. Let's just say that. But yeah, great game, great win. Great to get back to back wins. Now that leads us brilliantly onto the next game, Jack. Can we make it three on the bounce against League leaders Arsenal? Now that is the big, big question. I'll start. I feel like it's a massive free hit. I think who, like genuinely, we've won two games on the bounce now. We're pretty much out of the relegation fight now in my, in my opinion.

32:49I don't think we're going to even if we were to lose the rest of our games. I think we'll still be safe just purely because of how bad the likes of West Ham forest and spurs are at this current moment. Although West Ham to be fed to them, they've actually been picked up a bit. Yeah, they picked up a bit. But yeah, I think with the teams below us, I'll be very shocked if we were to be relegated at this point. So I feel like this is a massive free hit for us now. Just go there. Go there. We're at home. But go into that game knowing that really, like, if we lose, we lose. Cool. We lost against a team that's five points clear at the top of the league. They're arguably one of the best sides in Europe. Who cares? But if we can even get a draw, we can derail their premier league title push, which will be fantastic. So there, that's where I sit with the other moment. I feel like it's a massive free hit. As long as we go into that game playing well, we've put in a good performance. I'll be fine. Whatever the outcome. So yeah, how do you feel about your Jack?

33:49Yeah, I do agree. Like we've got a bit of a free hit here. Really haven't we? Like I don't, you know, there's not a lot of pressure on us. All the pressure is on us now. And rightly so, you know, they want to win that league title. And, you know, as much as, like, you know, in a sense that I think a lot of people are getting sort of salivating at the idea of it. Disrupting their season. And, you know, it's always good to ruin someone else's fun. Like I've always enjoyed that in football. I got thrown out of South Shields Ground. If we can't win it. 35:54But, yeah, yeah. You know, it's a free hit. The pressure's off us. And I think we can give them a good game. I certainly think with the confidence that we've got and a more defensive solidity, we can definitely do it. Just don't concede any set pieces, basically. Well, yeah. And the game goes Chelsea. All three goals were set pieces. Yeah. And all scored by Arsenal players. Yeah. So, there you go. I have to say that game was like for a... You know, like one of the big Premier League games of the season. It was a hard watch. Yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I mean, look, I... So, I was talking to... I was on the FTV show earlier. Like a Brighton preview. And I actually said, I felt like there's a few chinks in there in Arsenal's armour. Like, they don't look as, you know, formidable as they maybe did right at the beginning of the season. I felt like there are... We can cause them problems. Obviously, set pieces are going to be big. You know, we all know how good they are from set pieces. So, if we can stop them doing that, we should have a chance in the game. I remember the League Cup game we played against them. I arguably the best side that day. But they put on the Calvary towards the end.

36:56I remember they made like four, five, four subs. And it was like Sackar. They bought Tim Buron. They bought like, basically, the big gondon and they ended up winning that quite comfortably towards the end. But, yeah, I thought we played really well that day. And I remember, correct me from wrong as well. We played it back three, didn't we that day as well. Coppola. Yeah. Coppola Biscagli. And... Don't play it back three, Fabian. Yes, I was just about to say. I was about to say... That seems you seem to be listening to me. Don't play... I don't think we've got enough defenders to play it back. Yeah, I know. 37:56And we have got, like, what? A week and a half to the game afterwards. So, we've got a long gap afterwards. Exactly. He's just a few like Milner. Like, like, maybe sort of... Maybe Mitomas, whoop him out for a minter. Something like that. Yeah. Maybe the... Just to keep the players fresh and... Yeah. Yeah, yeah. But you don't want any re... injuries as well. Like, for example, if Mitoma gets re-injured, that's obviously a big blow for the rest of the season. Yeah, you want to try and keep the... maintain these. And then, just quickly, on the Arsenal team news, Jack. There's rumours. I think he got injured potentially against Chelsea. Celeba might not be playing, which is obviously... If that is true, that could be a huge, huge positive for us. However, in saying that, they have got a good... They have got a good backup, as we saw in that lead cut game. Their second 11 was... Yeah. You know, arguably could start for a... Most, you know, mid-table size upwards. So, yeah. You know, I think he capiated to play center back. I think... Was it mascara? Was a very good... Understudy. So, they've got all the options there. But, Jack, if, for example, let's say Celeba and an older guard aren't playing... Do you feel like it's going to play into our hands? Would you feel like they still got enough players to...

38:56You know, come in and still be... You know, defensively solid. I mean, they're still defensively solid. And we saw that in the lead cut game. I'm a big fan of him, Campey. Actually, not because I'm a part-time by a leather cousin fan. But he was very good for... By a leather cousin when he was there. And I think mascara is also very talented. Sent a half. So, yeah. Celeba's sort of been in and out, really. I wouldn't say he's been as... You know, as big as maybe Gabrielle or someone like that. But I think he's still a great... You know, he got a goal. He proved very pivotal to set pieces as well. Well, I was going to say as well. Like, was it the goal against... The one they considered Chelsea, obviously, was an own goal. And I feel like Rhea was a bit disconnected. Like, one notice with Raya, he's top. He's top... I mean, that save he made earlier than the game was. Yeah, oh, and at the end with the gone atro. Yeah. Yeah, that was ridiculous. Don't you wrong, look. He's a top guy. He's arguably the best goalkeeper in the league. However, I've seen little moments of like impulsive decisions he makes,

39:59which is custom goals. And the same with Gabrielle. I remember the goal was the goals. It was last minute where Gabrielle did communicate with him. He went to go punch it. And then the ball fell to the young lad, the dozey. And they ended up drawing that game to all. So, there's little moments. I'm not going to say, look, I'm not sitting here. Obviously, we're getting to predictions in a second. But I'm not saying we're going to win the game. But there's definitely a good time to play them. Let's say you that. I feel like a few teams are showing that they can't be, you know, get at. And I feel like we can hurt them if we want to. We've done it when plenty of times before. Why can't we do it again? But yeah, it's going to be tough game. I do agree with you about David Raya. He's always been a goalkeeper. He's obviously a fantastic goalkeeper, as you've just said. But like you say, he does have his moments where he has your bowzo moment, doesn't he? Yes. He's got the bowzo gene. Yeah, he's not quite up. Not as often as Sanchez. But he keeps it in.

41:00Or his predecessor, Aaron Ramsdale. He was the king of the bowzo moment. He can't concentrate for more than five minutes. That's never a good side for a goalkeeper. But yeah, I think he's either top goalkeeper, but he does have his moments. And maybe we can exploit that a little bit. You know, Wolf's worst team in the league, aren't they? But they still got a point. So, you know, there's sort of these moments where you can sort of exploit. And you can get through some of their weaknesses. They're playing in such a hyper pressurized thing. And I think there has been a little bit of chat, even from Arsenal fans, that can they take the pressure of being of everybody expecting them to win the league now? Which is maybe where they're struggling a bit. It'll be a hard game. I think do Manchester City play on? So, Manchester, you've got not a forest at home on the 4th. On the 4th. So, that's the same night. So, maybe I don't know whether they're the, no, we're the 730 aren't we? So, they won't have the pressure of knowing that Manchester City of one, which will always come into a little bit of pressure in that sense.

42:02But, you know, at the same time. But you'd expect them to beat for us, right? As Arsenal players, you're probably thinking, well, they're definitely going to win tonight. So, we've got to do the same. Not to say they will, but that's how they'll be thinking, I suppose. Yeah, of course, of course. And that's how you've got to think. You've got to have that mindset when you get to this part of the season, especially when you're at the top, that every team's going to win, aren't they? So, whereas, you know, we're in this position now. And if we want to look at Europe as well, we've got to have the expectation that every team that's going to be fighting there. It's not like relegation when we were looking down, maybe even a week ago. It's crazy. Well, I was just about to say, going back on what I said earlier about the free hit, now I'm thinking a little bit more about it. Three points will get us to 40 points on level with every turn in eighth. Three points behind Brent for obviously, again, depending on what those teams do. Of course. But it does push us towards that conference league spot, which we might well get if we carry on this kind of form. I need to start getting all my annual leave back as well. You might need to make a contingency plan. Yeah.

43:02Obviously, look, obviously, it's a bright fun. Of course, I want us to win. I'm just trying to be realistic at the same time of like, you know, a very good Arsenal side, needing to win is always going to be really, really difficult. But on the flip side, like Jack said, that could invite a little pressure, because all the pressure is going to be on Arsenal, and that could work in our favor. I don't think that was in our favor in the sense that there's a free hit. We've got no pressure on us, really, have we? And that's why it was good to get the win in these last two games. That's because it's the point I'm trying to make, isn't it? It sort of pushes us away slightly. And we don't have to suddenly be looking down and going like, oh, yeah, OK, we need to get a win against Arsenal here, or we're going to be, you know, people are going to be in a, we could be in a very dire situation. So, yeah, it'll be really good to have that pressure off a little bit and just kind of see how it goes for a season, really. No, 100%. 100%. Yeah. Well, look, it's all good stuff at the moment. Hopefully, hopefully that carries on. On Wednesday night, we can get a positive result. What are your score predictions, Jack? John, positive and realistic, no, no, no, we're not doing that anymore.

44:04One one. And it's not just, it's not just a special one. One one, I think, I think it'll be. I do think we'll take points of them. I think we've got enough confidence in that. I've got a lot. Yeah, I'm going to go reverse psychology, three, one, Arsenal. And we are, no, no, no, generally, I said this earlier as well on AFTV. I think it's going to be one all. Yeah, I do, I believe as well, Jack, I think. I reckon there'll be a bit of referee in controversy, as there always is in this. Interesting. Well, do you know what, Arsenal have been quite lucky, I'll be honest. In the Northland and Derby, I thought that was a push, which they got there for their second goal. I know, it's supposed to equal, I'm sorry, to make it to all. And then, against Chelsea as well, they had a few decisions, they're a bit dodgy. So, I feel like they've had a rub of the green here. So, yeah, look, does it catch up with teams, Jack? I think it caught, I mean, it's catching up with Villa now. You look at Villa. Like they have to ask, you know, expected points. That starts a load of bollocks, but, you know, they're just, they're just not... Yeah, they're exceeding, though, XG. Yeah.

45:04And now they're getting back to that position. So, luck does catch up with you. Although I do think Arsenal have been unlucky in other circumstances. So, maybe this is luck catching up with them. I don't know how the football, how the football gods are thinking right now. So, I guess we'll see, won't we? 100%.
