Nicky Glazer, this stunning tour. The thoughts of death I don't like to dwell on them for longer than like 10 or 15 hours a day, so... November 19th, Yamavath Theater. No wonder women rushed to have kids were being trained for it since we were kids. They're like, here's a baby doll. Here's an easy-bait coffin. I got one of those. I stuck my head in it. I was like, I want out of this narrowness. Tickets on sale now at Yamavathether.com. Don't miss Nicky Glazer. Yamavath Theater. You may be paying for phone insurance you already have. It's hiding in your wallet. So let's go find it. I'm Kim Kamada for Kaveron, formerly Nord Protect. Same trusted protection, now with an even stronger focus on today's identity theft scams. Get 71% off at Kaveron.com slash Kim. Plenty of credit cards cover your phone against, say, crack screens and theft. The catch, you have to pay your monthly cell phone bill with that card. Well, the no-annual fee Wells Fargo autograph card covers up to $600 with a $25 deductible. The no-feed chase freedom flex covers up to $800 per claim.

Carrier insurance can run you more than $100 a year. So here's your move. Search your card's name plus cell phone protection. If you're covered, switch your phone bill's auto pay to that card. Crack it later and you file a claim with your receipt. And I leave you with this. My insurance agent said most accidents happen within a mile of home. So I moved. And for more money moves like this, get my free newsletter at GetKam.com. A credit card that stays home should be the safest one you own, right? Well, that hasn't been the case for James in Myrtle Beach. He had to cancel and replace his card five times because thieves kept getting the number and he's out of ideas. So what's really going on? Kim has the fix. Next. It's October, which means it's officially Raycon Month. The Raycon everyday earbuds classics have genuinely become part of my daily routine. They're super comfortable for all day use and they're 20% off right now.

My Raycons are with me everywhere I go, whether I'm traveling, walking the dogs or running errands. And they're packed with upgrades. Active noise cancellation tunes out distractions. You're up next. Hi, James. Hi. Welcome. What's going on with you? Well, right now I'm relaxing in my son's room and enjoying retirement.

Nice. And yes, it's beautiful. And you're the first person other than my wife and I having this conversation. And I just recently became a fan of your show because I didn't know you existed. I just didn't know. And then I listened to a talk show in my truck and then you came on and I started listening and I said, oh my gosh, there's a person who knows a lot of stuff. And anyway, well, where you've been for the last 25 years, buddy? Just a second. I just recently retired. I was the gentleman that you have in the and the officer are talking to about the children and all that. Yes. I'm a retired school teacher. So I know all about that. Ah, yes. All the slang. Yes. You're enjoying your skibbity retirement. Oh, I love it. But anyway, here's my issue and I'm hoping you have some advice for me.

We have two credit cards. We have one credit card that we carry around each one of us. And if we go shopping or something, or we just push it through the little machine, the other credit card never leaves the house. And that's because it's auto pay. And the only only and we only have, I think we have 14 or 15 vendors that every month hit that credit card because it's an ongoing process and you know all about auto pay. For the past five years, and it started five years ago, somebody has been scamming our information. And it's happening in different states. It happened in North Carolina, South Carolina. And last month, it happened in Rhode Island where they, I don't know how they get it, but they go to a big box store like it happened in Lowe's and then in Rhode Island, it happened

in Walmart and they purchased a couple thousand dollars or the tools. And they actually leave the building with it. They're able to order it online and then show up and pick it up. And they fl-flash a phony ID. I was told by the fraud department they flashed. They had an ID with my name on it. I was in the military. They had a military ID they show, they show a driver's license. And then they get away with it. And what we have to do is the origination is a bank. They give us a fraud alert, of course, and we, they no, no, no, we don't live there. We live in South Carolina. Okay, so is this credit card we're talking about? Is this the one that's on auto pay? Yes. Okay, so- Just that one, just that one. So the auto pay is the one that keeps getting taken for fraud. Correct. And you don't cancel it and get a new number? Oh, five times. Oh, okay, okay. So the problem we're going through, a saw, we don't have to pay

for anything, of course, we're covered, the bank, but they more and more scrutinize, you know, the, the credit card holder, because they don't know if we're the scammer ourselves. For sure. So they put us through the ringer on the phone several times and then they say, okay, no problem. And then they, they issue us another card and it takes a week or so to get it. And then we have to contact the, the, uh, it becomes, it becomes, it becomes a bit of a nightmare. I mean, it does. Oh, man. It almost sounds, it sounds like to me that one of the 15 people you're auto-pan is got no security. Yeah, there's something going on with one of the 15. Because your new number keeps getting out there. So it is, there's, there's, maybe they were part of some big data breach. Maybe there's somebody on the inside that, that's, that's, you know, what you're seeing is exactly what my wife and I was talking about. Um, there's either somebody on the inside of one of these vendors or, um, there's a multiple number of people out there that are, have a way

of getting inside and pulling my information out. So you get 15 different credit cards for the 15 different auto pay. Right. And we'll find out who it is. You know what? That's interesting. Now, you know, make sure that you set up alerts. So anytime the, the auto pay is used, so that number is used is that you can get an instant notification. Uh, we do, we get it. And then they may be able to use virtual card numbers too. So, uh, so that this way the card number doesn't get put out there. That it's only a, it's basically it's a virtual card number. It's only good for one time use. Oh, so how, how do we keep it as an auto pay though? We have no, no, they, if you, it's, they will generate virtual card numbers itself. Like American Express will do that. So, so you still has, so your, your main number gets secured, meaning that nobody gets that, but it comes up with a virtual card number that's only good for that

particular transaction. So, uh, that's how I have my American Express card set up. And it works great. It works great. I mean, I used to give, I remember that one time I had, they called me up and they said, did you buy, uh, four iPhones in Germany and a Lufthansa ticket to New York? I'm like, no, I'm Phoenix. It wasn't me. Might be fraud. Okay. You can admit it. No one's going to make fun of you. You love me. Yes. Say it out loud. I love Kim Commando. And you can get more of me in a few ways.
