The trial about Sandra Birchmore's death murder is going to be coming up very soon if everything stays on track. Welcome. We're here to help educate you on all of this as it gets closer. This is a case that just erages the hell out of you. The deeper you dive, the darker it gets, the more corrupt the police department gets. We did that dive. We're going to get a little bit more beneath the surface here. Just kind of take a look at this case and the perspective of, okay, you want us to believe that she did this to herself, Stoughton Police Department. Matthew Farwell? Why should we believe you?

3:06What reps do you have in demonstrating behavior that builds trust in those that look to you for authority and guidance and to protect and serve? What exactly do you bring to the table in that vein? It turns out not much. And here's why. They want you to believe Sandra Birchmore killed herself. A former Stoughton Massachusetts police detective will walk into a Boston federal courtroom in October. We'll be covering it here. Press subscribe. An assajury to accept that a pregnant 23 year old tied a duffel bag strap to a closet door knob and ended her own life. Closet door knob. Yes, low hanging somehow did that to oneself without actually hanging anywhere. Just, you know, a door knob. Federal prosecutors sell and, and, and by the way, the man who's accusing with his DNAs

4:10on the strap. Nothing to say here. Federal prosecutors say he strangled her with that strap and staged the, the attempt in the apartment. One side is catastrophically wrong. And before the jury decides which, there's something the audience deserves to know about the institution that wrote the first version of the story. The first version that was pitched out there and then walked away from it. And nobody looked at it further. We're good over here. Everything's great. And then the FBI comes and goes, what are you guys doing over here in Stoughton? Oh God, we've looked at you in the past. We've had to investigate you in the past. First shady ass shit. It looks like we're back doing that again. Some things never change. Ah. Sandra Birchmore was 12 or 13 when she joined the Stoughton Police Explorer's programmer on 2010. You know that the story's going to start well when we're starting the story of talking her being about being a young teenager among officers. Her father was gone, her mother and grandmother, the people raising her died while she was a teenager.

5:16She had nobody. And guess what? She wanted to be a cop. This could have been wonderful. This could have been a great story of responsible adults who got together and supported a young woman helped her into her career path, helped her grow as a young lady and find a career that was fulfilling and that she was good at. And be there as support systems through the rest of her life, through the milestones of her life. Instead, they looked at her as a piece of meat and passed her around and violated her repeatedly from person to person. Yeah. That allegedly started when she was under age too. But many of the officers who passed her around because there's a lot of them. Well, it all happened when she was 18 and it's her fault. It was her choice. She's manipulative. Oh, oh, is she, is she, it's not, that's not you.

6:18You're not dervowing the shit out of this because you don't want to be responsible for taking advantage of a child. Yeah. Hmm. Many of the officers are free by the way. So if you happen to seem with the pigly wiggly, say hi, hey, the explorers program was supposed to give her that. Things she was missing, mentorship right along, structure from adults with badges. Stoten could produce only a single one year agreement with the national program. No records that the adults who ran it completed youth protection training. The adults who ran it were deputy chief Robert divine and the far well twins. It sounds like a Stephen King book already. Matthew and William, federal prosecutors alleged Matthew far well began a physical relationship with Sandra when she was 15 and he was 27. Even mentioned to her in a text, wish I started doing that sooner. He was a Stoten patrolman's union president.

7:18The man whose job was to represent officers in discipline was allegedly involved with a child, the department's own youth program. William far well, Matthew's twin also was stolen officer exchange and appropriate messages and images with Sandra while on duty. He encouraged her to secretly record encounters with other people and send him the footage. Ah, a good officer does. What do these people come from? I mean, what what I love to know they're upbringing. I love to know those homes. What the fuck was happening there? He ran her name through law enforcement databases 26 times with no legitimate purpose. He lied to state police about when he last saw her. Robert divine met Sandra when she was in middle school. He ran the program that put her in front of these men before Sandra. A prior investigation found he had an appropriate contact with a different teenage girl. He supervised allegedly. Jesus. He closed the door, lifted her onto a desk, told her she was a knockout.

8:19The allegations go. He said he'd take her on a date when she turned 18. She later told investigators she believed boundaries are being crossed when he deliberately said these things allegedly. And after that finding, they put him in charge of the explorers. Hey, it looks like you're getting a little too close to that young lady over there. How about we put you in charge of more kids? Good decision making Stoten. In late 2020, according to post findings, divine used a fake Facebook identity. Marty Riggs, a lethal weapon character to arrange an on-duty encounter with Sandra. When investigators asked, he said the account was hacked. Post-decertified divine in December of 25, his defense at the hearing was to blame Sandra. She lied about everything. Oh, yes. The man whose own prior investigation found him untruthful chose to attack the dead girl

9:23who can't answer. It was all her. Prosecutors alleged far well. Track Sandra's phone and directed her to delete messages in one exchange in the court record. Sandra asked far well whether she should try to resist what he did to her or just accept it. His answer, according to prosecutors, was one word, resist. The department used its section 12 authority against Sandra. The legal power to force someone into a psychiatric evaluation. Police power aimed at someone in multiple officers in that building had already crossed boundaries with. Let's make her look crazy, guys, because she's going to take us all down. Yeah, you're right. She is. In the fall of 2020, Sandra was pregnant, by the way, buying baby supplies, planning a gender reveal. She told far well, he was the father. The therapist screened her on January 31, 2021, the day before prosecutors say she died, and found no signs of suicide. A coworker got a Snapchat from Sandra on February 1st, asking if school would be canceled

10:24for a nor Easter. The coworker replied at 9.28 p.m. Sandra never opened it. Prosecutors alleged a friend called Stouten PD on or about January 20th and reported the relationship with far well. And that genius inside that incestuous police department told him about the call. Didn't report it to people who could take care of it. No, you know where it went? It went to far well. Complaint about you? Why don't you take it? Sometimes they must have had reps at that in that department of when people call into complain, let's give you right to the person you're complaining about. So they can dervou you down. And we don't have to deal with it over here. He texted Sandra asking to come over. He said she'd leave the door unlocked. She was probably thinking maybe he's coming around.

11:25surveillance captured him entering at approximately 9.14 p.m. and leaving at 9.43. His phone's last recorded movement was 9.40 p.m. A coworker had offered far well help with what the coworker called the problem. Prosecutors say far well told him the problem was going to take care of itself. She was found three days later, same closed, duffel, beg strap around her neck, closet, door knob, Canton police and state police assigned to Northboro County DA, Michael Morrissey, handled the death. They classified it as S, the same day the body was found before an autopsy before anyone looked at her phone immediately. It's an S. Let's move this along. We don't want people looking any closer to the discover that oh shit. Our officers have been passing her around like a sex doll. The ligature was misidentified as a scarf. Oh, it was a scarf she used. It wasn't a duffel, beg strap with your DNA on it. No DNA was compelled from far well.

12:25Nobody looked, nobody asked. His devices were never seized. The medical examiner was not at this scene. A broken necklace later described by federal prosecutors as possible evidence of a struggle, never made it to the medical examiner because local folks, local police, they knew they were too close to the sun. They knew there was too many of them that had been coming and going from this hot spot. The state police supervisor on the case, Lieutenant John Fanning was a former Stettwin officer who had served with divine. He did not recuse state investigators found evidence of what amounted to a crime against a minor in their own records. They filed no charges. Nobody had to coordinate anything. They called it an S and went home. So here's the department that wrote that story. You ready? Here's why we should believe them, right? Okay, here's their track record. In the early 2000s, the state sponsored study, the state sponsored study examined traffic

13:27stop data across Massachusetts and flagged stone as one of the worst departments in the state for disproportionately targeting minority drivers, a grand jury investigated seven officers, including the chief and both union leaders. The town brought into an outside, the town brought in an outside chief named Joseph Skadero to clean up the, the mess. He called the department incestuous and questioned whether some officers were stable enough to carry weapons. The town fired him. He put the old leadership back. So yet a guy comes in says this is incestuous. Some of these people aren't stable to hold weapons and watch the reaction of stone. Get rid of that guy. He's crazy. No, he's calling you out. He's telling you what's actually, he's more importantly, he's telling everybody else what's happening back here. The shit you guys don't want to have come out in an independent report found retaliation was built into the culture officers who cooperated with investigators, got punished, reassimons, isolation, a lieutenant who worked with the grand jury told investigators the chief tried

14:30to run him over with an SUV in the town hall parking lot. That chief was manual, Chapeaua. Before the SUV, one of his sergeants had run an on duty shakedown. The sergeant and uniform on the clock handcuffed a local businessman and told him he'd be locked up unless he paid $9,000 by the next afternoon. He was a private debt from a failed restaurant investment and the sergeant used his badge allegedly to collect it. Chapeaua covered for him in 2009. He was convicted as an accessory after the fact to attempt an extortion. He got probation. Then he tried to build the town roughly half a million dollars in legal fees. That's the department. Between 2008 and 2010, the FBI was running a wire inside the building because they trusted it so much. A 30 year veteran detective had spent years fencing stolen electronics through an informant. Television's high value goods. And when the bureau confronted him, he lied to federal agents.

15:31He went to federal prison. That's the department. In 2014, compromising photos of deputy chief divine and a mistress were emailed to the entire department and their spouses. Every officer in the building and every person married to one got those photos in their inbox. The investigation found divine untruthful and found misuse of department resources. The chief who wanted him fired couldn't make it stick allegedly. Divine was demoted to patrol men and stayed in the building. The girl from the Explorer program, the one he met as a middle schooler was stolen in their orbit. That's the department. In 2018, a stout sergeant drove off the road in Canton and his truck hit a 74 year old man standing in a driveway. He dragged him roughly 40 feet. The man died. The charge was motor vehicle homicide. The sergeant's defense was that he was choking on a lemon seed from his iced tea. So whoops, sorry I ran over your grandpa and drove him 40 some feet with my truck. He was acquitted and went back to work.

16:31Wonder if he still drinks iced tea. That is the institution. That is the record. That is who told the public Sandra Birchmore tied a strap to her door and ended it. A good thing the family refused to accept. Sandra's aunt hired Dr. Michael Baden, a forensic pathologist retained by the family, not by the state. He concluded she'd been strangled. The estate filed a wrongful death suit advocates protested outside the Norfolk. DA's office demanding to know why William Farwell and Divine still face no criminal charges. And the FBI opened its investigation in 23 and found what state investigators never pursued. Roughly 40,000 text messages. Farwell's DNA on the Duffel beg strap is biological material in the clothing. Sandra was wearing when found. On April 30th of 2026, the state medical examiner amended the death certificate. Cause change makes fix you by hanging to fix you a manner change from S to undetermined non homicide. Undetermined five years later, the state still couldn't bring itself to say what the

17:35family already knew. The federally indictment came in August of 24th, the magistrate who denied Farwell bail called the evidence very strong. If not overwhelming, one fact the defense arrays deserves to be heard straight DNA excluded far well as the biological father. Ah, all for nothing. Prosecutors say motive depends on what far well believed at the time that the pregnancy would expose everything. The jury will weigh that. The scandals don't prove Matthew far well killed Sandra Birchmore. The strap does his actions do a jury in Boston, the way that evidence starting October 5th. But this is a department where the sergeant shipped down a businessman and handcuffs and the chief covered for him where the FBI had to wire and inform an inside the building to catch a detective fencing stolen goods where a deputies chiefs compromising photos hit every inbox in the department and he still kept his job were the men who ran a youth program walked away with resignations instead of prosecutions.

18:38When that institution asks you to accept its story about a pregnant young woman found dead with a strap around her neck, you're allowed to ask what that story is worth. Sandra Birchmore trusted the police, standing at 12 years old right there with them. With no one else left, she trusted them with everything she had.
