How about Sam Levit? Big news a day ago is Sam Levit saying that he is 100 million. Really good. I'm all be 100% by Saturday. It was just a super light hamstring thing and got it back really good for the game and I just didn't really have to run around. So there you go. Sam Levit says he'll be 100% for Saturday. So I'm not sure I believe that completely. Let's say he's lying. I just don't know how you go from that A&M game where literally couldn't put weight on one leg to two weeks later like 100.
100. But anyway, we'll see. I mean, let me test it. Well, let's say some good mornings here. Please smash the like button. Subscribe to channel Facebook, like the page here. The post excited to see this. LSU Kentucky matchup. We are Eric and I are wheels up tomorrow to Lexington. So I will not be on AFR Thursday, Friday this week. I will be traveling tomorrow and then Friday we're doing the the bourbon trail. And I that was probably not a great idea to go to the bourbon trail and then try to host a three-hour radio show. You some of you may like that. Most of you would not. Anyway, and I will just enjoy my day. So I'll say some good mornings here. Hey, Michael, good morning. What's the key to victory offensively defensively for the tiger Saturday? Yeah, so interestingly, the the the Kentucky
defense is 12 or worse in the SEC in all statistical categories. The offense is kind of a mixed bag. They've been better throwing than running. Do I have that right? Oh, I know it's true. My desk will work. I know it's your minutes work. Anyway, Kenny Minchee has not really been a running threat this year. Um, these 25 attempts for negative one yard on the season. So it's not the guy that's necessarily going to take the game over with his feet. So pressure him, uh, play good coverage, limit them offensively and then for LSU offensively protect the football. Just keep doing what you do. And LSU leads the conference in total offense and total defense. So you're a better team, you're better coach, you're better players. It's just hard to go on the road and win in the SEC.
So go do it. Hey, Brian, good morning from Wichita Falls, Texas, Abner, Good Morning, Adam, Good Morning, Tommy, Buenos Dias, me, ATL, I'll bribe. Hey, Jacob, good morning. There's been a coach out to have a LSU that you liked to interview the most. First one that comes to mind years ago, I interviewed Houston Nut and he was awesome. Very personable. Some of a preacher and you can tell, but he was great. Very every man component to him that was very relatable, approachable. And maybe it was also just because I was a young broadcaster and he was the head coach at Ole Miss at the time. This was 2008, 2009. And for him to do my interview, I needed an F2. Was memorable. What do you think the SEC put in another 11 o'clock game in Tiger Stadium?
Yes, so by the way, that's not anything new. We knew that over the summer. I know there was this sort of collective melt nationally around the conference about that. But the SEC announced TV windows over the summer. So we knew that Mississippi State game was either going to be 11 a.m. or noon. Like they announced in May that was going to be in the early window. So I was surprised that people were surprised. We knew that was a thing. Mojo, good morning. Devon, good morning. Thank you, man. Drew's doing great. Hey, Sean, good morning. Justin, Thomas, good morning. Em Israel Chai, never forget. I hope I said that right. Excuse me. Brian, when you leave for Lexington, we leave tomorrow morning. So we're flying with the LSU Alumni Association, Traveling Tigers. That was a great job. I highly recommend if you ever want to travel to an LSU road game going with the Alumni Association is a great way to do it. Everything is turnkey.
Like you show up at the airport, they have a tape. You don't go through the normal check-in. They have a table set up. You drop your bags to them. It's a charter flight. You get there. There's a bus waiting on you to take in the hotel and you get to the hotel. You already checked in. They take your bags. I mean, it's just your tailgate party. Everything is game ticket. All of it is so easy. So always recommend travel with the LSU Alumni Association. And you do not have to be an alum to travel with the LSU Alumni Association. Just an FYI. Hey, Mike, Kevin, good morning. Brad, what do you think about Jim Marcello's daughter? Do you think she's to involve in colds operations? Nope. Her team. He's involved. Where's the little involved? Did you want to be? I kind of dig it. That she's standing on the side of my with the near piece in. As long as she's not over there, like during the game, telling the coach what to do. I mean, I do believe as a manager, like you hire good people and you let give them the resources they need to do their job and then get out of the way and let them do their job. And if they don't do their job well, then you fire them. You find someone who will. But I kind of dig the fact that she actually cares enough. I mean, she's the anti-gram all-gale who's asleep at the wheel. Actually,
grandma gale might not be asleep at the wheel. She might be asleep in the passenger seat while Mickey's at the wheel driving just just joy ride in the car. If banging into curves and going the wrong way on on one way streets and all kinds of stuff. Do we all need to be detoxing ourselves? Before I go asking, how can I detox? I have to look inward. Okay, what am I doing? Can I identify at least three ways that my body detoxes and ways to support that? I promise if my message was more dramatic like that, I would have millions of dollars and make millions of dollars. But I cannot sleep that night trying to sell someone something that their body already does naturally. If we're living in a crazy world now, I think it's a lot of people fear a lack of control. And as a result of this, this is the way of them trying to make sense of the world and try to take control over their own bodies. So by actively doing something, how many detoxify things, therefore I'm going to feel better, I think is absolutely one of the reasons that detoxifying has become so popular.

Confidence and Mental Edge. Fella's here's the thing. Those are classic signs that your testosterone has been sliding. And nothing drags it down faster than extra weight. The good news? Emerging research suggests that getting rid of it may actually be more effective than TRT. So why not take matters into your own hands? That's bioma.health slash GLP1 code CR Show for 15% off. Audrey, what are your thoughts on the Kentucky defense against our offense? I mean, the LSU's offense is the number one total offense in the SEC.
I like the LSU's offense to move the ball and have success against every defense. Kentucky is certainly not the most formidable defense that LSU will face this year. I think two things need to happen. One, protect football. When you got in trouble, is when you turn the ball over. And two, convert in the red zone. Those have been LSU's bugabuse when they've struggled. It's not been the ability or inability to move the football. I guess I said they're number one in the conference in total offense. They move the ball when LSU gets bogged down to when they get inside the 20 and they can't score. They can't finish drives. Stevie, does Easton's mom go on all these trips? That's no fun. Hey, Fred, any field former Tiger, John Johnson? Well, you didn't finish asking the question. I'll see if it's down there somewhere. Christopher, happy home day. So you do AFR locked on Morningscone plus. How does it work?
Is AFR the primary job and the others are supplemental? It's so much content. Thanks for your commitment to it. You got to be in. Yes. So AFR has been my nine to five air quotes since 2010. And then I started doing Morningscone eight and a half years ago. I've never missed a day. While we have great partners here, this morningscone has never really been like a giant you know, a revenue generator for me. It's mostly something I like to do that I have an opportunity to like parish, for example, is this is a great opportunity for me to promote parish every to wear a parish hat. Sure, put the logo on there and talk about parish. So but mostly I just like doing it. I'm building my own YouTube channel over the years of doing Morningscone with the intention to say, you know, one day I'll use this channel to do some,
I don't know what some maybe it's to prepare or should or whatever, but it's always been the idea that I would just I would grow this YouTube channel at I own and have it for some things some day. I don't know what that is yet. So it's got me 25,000 subs on this channel and I'm very grateful for it. But then 20 27,000 27,000 7,000 615. But the but then locked on has become just really strong supplemental income. That's been that's been a great blessing. So thanks to everyone who listens to or watches locked on it's locked on it's been awesome. I mean, it's the growth of that network has been amazing. It's given me a great opportunity, you know, to help support Eric and Drew and on top of AFR. So yes, I'm very grateful for it. Hey, try good morning. Anything new from Eastern Royal? Yes, so Eastern Royal announced is going to take four more visits. So we back at Florida this weekend. He's going to visit Texas and then he'll be at LSU for both the Alabama and Texas Games in November. So we're not expecting an announcement from Royal until after that
the LSU Texas game in November, like a final announcement. And the thing that I'll continue to have, like I am not a recruiting guy, but I do know a lot about what's going on at LSU and I know they've hit their cap of what they're going to offer Eastern Royal. Like they're not going higher. And Florida apparently keeps pushing that price up. So Eastern's going to have a decision to make. Do you maybe take more money at Florida or do you take it really, really good payday at LSU and play an hour from home where your mom can see you play, you know, every game and the 40 year decision being from Louisiana playing in lane kiffons offense and all that stuff, you know, that's the decision I'll have to make. Hey Thomas, heard us that yesterday Kentucky's ranked last in the country in third down conversion rate, though those are both well for them against our defense. I don't think a lot of teams are going to have a lot of success against LSU's defense. When you look at passing off fences,
Ole Miss is eighth in the country and that's the best LSU statistically LSU face all year. So I'll continue to say I think you've already faced your toughest test on your schedule. Not to say you're going to win every game, but you have faced your toughest test already. Hey dad, good morning. Happy birthday to Gramps. Yep. So Gramps is 94 years old today. Shout out to my Gramps. It's my mom's dad. And so Gramps asked me to take a movie at Haircut today. So I'm going to drop off Drew at St. Lily and then going to pick up Gramps and we're going to the Barbershop. Not for me. I don't need a barber. And you know how people say you get your hair genetically from your mom's dad. Yeah, that's bull because Gramps is 94 and still has to go to the to the barber yet hair cuts. I do not. He's 50 I'm 44. He's 50 years older than me. Fred. Oh, how would you want Johnson to do in the offense? Got it. I feel like it would be tailor made for QB2 to do this running ability.
I know he is there anymore. He seems to go, you know, Fred. I'm not sure, John Johnson would have stuck. And I do think look, he was a very good high school quarterback. No doubt. I I think the running component in Lane Kiffin's offense is essential, but you got to be able to throw the ball. And I don't know that we were going to see him do that. Hey, Ricky, Tony, good morning, Stevie. Love the adults only were hand on Monday night. Mr. Rogers opened up a can on Mr. McFeely. Hey, Dale. Good morning, Mordes Beach. All right. Dale. Good morning, man. Hit him straight. Hey, Jack. Good morning. Rocky. Enjoy the interview with PJ. Wouldn't thank you, man. So in today, Aluba. So how to change yesterday? Sit down with PJ Woodland and Aluba. So we dropped PJ yesterday. We'll drop the Aluba. My interview today and it'll be on AFR as well. So look at forward to that.
Aluze is a good dude, man. Interesting story. You know, one of the highest rated guys coming out of high school, IMG went to the University of Georgia. Was there for a couple of years transferred to Maryland, started the last two years and transferred LSUs. So really interesting football path. It has played really well to start this season. I think you're going to enjoy that conversation with Aluba that we'll drop here today. Hey, Ben. Good morning. Steven, new stadium name will be the FMOL Maravitch Center or they unloading the pistol. Yeah, I don't think it's going to be Maravitch Center. Tometh and New Basketball arena. I think it's just going to be our later, the Lake Arena is what it's going to be. I mean, the PMAC is the building on campus, right? But I don't know that that's been decided, but from the renderings I saw, I think it just was it's our later, the Lake Arena. Tiger diver, good morning. Looks like it might be wet when it can tuck you this weekend. Based on what I saw yesterday, Tiger diver, it looked like that rain might not get there till like Sunday. Like overnight hour, Saturday or Sunday.
Let me see. Yeah, I mean, it's showing 70% Saturday, but I, but again, I think it's like late. I could be wrong, but based on the models that it was shown with the storm, kind of making its way, it kind of looked like it was going to be Sunday. Anyway, we'll see. Hey, Zach, good morning. What are the chances Blake Baker returns LSU next year? Look, man, if he gets offered a power five head coaching, a good power five head coaching job, I think he takes it and he should. I do know this. Any wants to be a coach, a head coach, and will be and should be and all that stuff. I do know that he loves it here and his family loves it here. I think that was, you know, Blake even said it during his media availability or in fall camp.
You know, his kids are old enough now to understand what's happening. You know, they didn't want to leave last year and Lane gave me the opportunity to stay, to give him a big raise and he stayed and probably be getting a better job. I mean, two lanes, a very good job. You know, any much school there. But if you're, if you have the opportunity to go take a power four job, a good power four job, you're in the mix for that. Well, you know, I mean, what if what if Florida state comes open or I don't think Clums is going to come open, but I mean, what if that's the opportunity? Like what if Florida state comes open, they offer the job to Blake Baker? I mean, you got to take that job. Yeah. I'm not saying it will, but if Falcon, good morning, Phil, good morning, Tyler, I think Roman has a great game at tie in the Saturday. I'd love to see it. Jersey, good morning. Miss yesterday, there were several plays
the Saints cornerbacks. Horned even the camera frame when they lined up first Atlanta wide receivers. King Staley's terrible game plan needs way more criticism. I don't know that I agree with you there. Do we all need to be detoxing ourselves? Before I go asking, how can I detox? I have to look in word. Okay, what am I doing? Can I identify at least three ways that my body detoxes and ways to support that? I promise, if my message was more dramatic like that, I would have millions of dollars and make millions of dollars, but I cannot sleep at night trying to sell someone something that their body already does naturally. And sometimes, especially when you're facing a quarterback like Michael Penix, you're willing to give cushion so you don't give up the deep ball over the top. You're willing to give up the underneath stuff and say, I dare you to
go 9, 12, 15 plays down the field. They just didn't need to because the Saints didn't cover and didn't tackle and they're not very good. You're going to blame brand of salient. That's fine, but don't act like just because you line up off the ball, it's a bad plan. I mean, it's a very common thing, especially depending on situationally where you are in the game. What you don't want to do is give up the 60 yard touchdown over the top, which did anyway.

Hey, Bubba, Michael, good morning. Cody, morning mat, where do you rank lanes game day fit among previous coaches? The way windbreakers acclaimed them. Yeah, like the, I don't know if it's a windbreak. It's like a long sleeve dry fit hoodie with the visor. You got to be able to pull it off. Yeah, it's good.
Tommy Kotlitz. Sedona restaurant, Lexington is great pours of Pappy and others for really good prices. FYI, okay, good to know. Thank you very much. So I think I'm very excited about hopefully, hopefully, being there in the heart of bourbon country, I'm able to find some unicorns at an approachable price. I'm not crazy. I don't think I'm going to be able to buy bottles. There's on the shelf or anything, but it would be cool to actually get to go walk into restaurants and see Pappy 20 in it, not be 250 a pour. That would be cool. Charlie, good morning. Scott, your interview with PJ was great. He does a great job. Thank you, man. He was great. Great energy. Polite young guy shook my hand. Very personable. Really enjoyed that conversation. Say hello to Dave Schultz. Have you seen him on the bourbon trail? I would, Dave texted me,
yes, I need to reply to him. I was while I was doing those interviews yesterday as when Dave texted me, I forgot to get back to him. Dave works at Jimine. So I don't know that we're going to make it there, but still looking forward to being up there. Hey, buzz man, good morning, what, huh? Gee, Dustin, good morning. Cool. You doing the bourbon trail. Definitely want to do that. Enjoy the different tastings. Yeah, man. People are always surprised when they find out like I've never done that before. It's big as a whiskey nerd as I am, but so I'm excited. Tiger Poppy, good morning, Aaron, good morning, clown of house cats. Good morning from Stafford, Springs Connect Cut. All right. Hey, Jesse, today's my daughter Harper's birthday. She loves listening to Morningscale. Well, I love that. Well, happy birthday, Harper. Cheers to you. We'll raise our coffee cups to you. Although you probably, I would guess, have maybe orange juice. I'm looking at the family picture right there. So anyway, I'm guessing you don't drink coffee, but Harper, hope you have an awesome birthday.
Hope you get all the cake and all the presents. And it's the best day ever. And you get to stay up super late if you want because it's your birthday and you can do whatever you want. Have a great day, Harper. Happy birthday. Hillside. Good morning from South. Warhawk fan, Paris for the golf coast. Hurricane isn't looking good for Pensacola. Yeah, it looks like it's jogging a little to the east. So Mobile Bay Pensacola. We'll see what track that it continues taking. Something else worth keeping an eye on, a far less significant, of course, than the people in the path of the storm. Is the Alabama Georgia game? We call it game days there, the whole nine. For that game this weekend. So, I mean, do they keep that game there? Do they move it? They move it to Athens? Do they? Well, I mean, what contingency do they have? I would guess by Thursday, they'll have to have to have that answer.
True acts. Good morning. State is always an 11am game. It feels like it, huh? Hey, Brad, I rewatched that Kentucky whiskey wine. You talked about I forgot about a vulgar tea by boys. I told you man, you want to see peak that get I tell people this all the time. So tea Bob watched the whole game at Don Juan that that game. He had a little box of sigurillo. So he was like chain smoking sigurillos. He was drinking double misgales the whole game. He also had a prescription pen. And we always smoke a cigar during the show and he kept drinking the double misgales. I mean, he was on a different planet that night. More so than usual or what I remember. That's why that was always stuck out to me. Hey, Robbie, good morning. What about the Minnesota Vikings? Are you concerned about everything? They're a really solid defensive team and they have arguably the best receiver in the NFL and Justin Jefferson and the Saints don't have anybody who can cover him. So like literally everything. I can't believe is that still one and a half?
I can't when I saw that one and a half, I was like, grab it now. It's if go put your kids through college. Vikings one and a half is crazy to me. Crazy that that's one and a half. Adam, good morning. No doubt. And by the way, I know in the NFL, there tends to be with betting an overreaction. There's generally public overreaction. They watch the Saints get blown out. So you overreact to that. Like, for example, the the bears scored 59 in their open or against Carolina and then lost at home to the Vikings nine to three. Now that was a rain game, but everybody was on the bears night game. And Tyler Murray was hurt and they lost nine to three. And so there tends to be an overreaction from the public. And I think we'll see it's interesting what happens with the Saints. Like, are they able to get off the mat this week? But remember, you're on a short week and you played Monday. So you only have you have a short week to get ready
and it's just not an enviable matchup. Jack, it seems to me every middle of the pack or lower SEC team gets up to play LSU more than Alabama or Georgia. Is it because LSU is so hated? Oh, I don't know about that. I mean, if you're saying that it they tend to be close games that if they're close games, it's just because we have an inability to put teams away. I mean, Kentucky had a great environment for their game against Bamba. They led that game at half. It was 14 13 Keel and Russell threw a pick six early in that game. So and Kentucky missed some opportunities. And honestly, that game got away from Kentucky because they they went forward on several four downs in their own territory and get it gave Bamba short field scores. So the game got away in the second half, but that was a closer game. You know, then let's go 104 David Good Morning, traveling with Tiger tomorrow. Hope to run across you on the trip. Awesome. And I'll be there. Eric and I will be there.
Purple privateer. What up Scott? Good morning. Saints have a good lady, but a horrible managing owner. I agree with that completely. I think Mrs. Benson, I do believe she's a good person. I believe she wants to invest for the team and the city and all that sort of stuff. She's just not a competent NFL owner because she has. Look, the way oversimplified version of it is when Rita and Gale were feuding people within the organizations effectively lines were drawn on the sand and they pick sides. And Luma and Lausha sided with Gale. And when she won, they were made men. And so they're not going anywhere. I mean, they're the executors of her estate. So people keep saying, I'm going to fire making no, they're not going to fire me. She's not she's never firing him. So our only hope is he realizes how bad he is at his job and retires, but it doesn't seem like that's going to happen.
Hey, Paul, what are your plans for tonight and Lexington? Any good whiskey established Mr. Checkout, save travels and bow tigers because it's good. Erica God has dinner reservations. So with the group we're going with, I can't there's two. She got it for Thursday night, Friday night, and I can't remember. The well hang on. Oh gosh. There it goes. Tonies. We've dinner at Tonies on Thursday and dinner at Castle Farm on Friday.
Hey, Bradley, good morning. Jacob Matt, how much of one of the reason on Kellin Moore versus roster injuries does identify identifying Chuck by him more time and how many losing seasons should he get to rebuild to that? Well, first of all, I don't know who identified Chuck. That's a first thing worth mentioning. How much of one three is on Kellin Moore? I mean, the slow starts are undeniably on him. I mean, he's coached New Orleans half or 21 games and they've trailed in the first quarter, 17 of the 21 games. They've been shut out in the first quarter, 10 times. Like the slow starts are on him. Collapsing against the Raiders when you leave a double digits in the second half at home. I mean, ultimately, it all goes back to the coach. So I coach just way too much credit, way too much blame. It's cliche, but it's true. Leslie, good morning. O vote telescope, I will.
I'll tell Graham's the low happy birthday. Charlie, love locked on. Listen, every morning, we're getting ready for it. Thank you. Charlie. Appreciate that, man. Marcus, good morning. We might dodge. Big Hurk came both this weekend. How's Drew doing? You think they're going to play George a Bamba? I don't know. Uh, oh, cool. You saw the sign from the Interstate for Paris. Cool. I don't know how. Sorry. I don't know how with the track it's taking right now, they play that game in Tuscaloosa Saturday. I don't have any inside information. I'm just, I see the same models that you do. And those decisions have to be made with a predictive measure with time. But they don't share a common open date. So it's not like they could move the game to a common open date. So they either move the game up like to Friday, which again, could also be dangerous if people
are trying to evacuate. And you're having this major, I just remember all this from 2016 with Hurricane Matthew stuff and just and also with LSU in 2008 with Gustav playing that game at 10 AM. And anyway, or they could move the venue, right, they could move, they could play it in Athens, which I'm sure Alabama would not be thrilled about, but I mean, for so many reasons, you have to play the game for TV contract, for the standings, competitive balance, the whole thing. So it was there a neutral side available like an NFL venue that they could play. I know that's not what Alabama wants and that's not ideal, but again, like you have to play the game. So go play the game where you can play the game where there's someone who logistically can pull that together quickly. And typically that's, it's like when LSU hosted South Carolina's home game in 2015,
you know, I mean, you have to have a venue and a place capable of putting that together. So we'll see how it goes. Okay, I gotta go y'all.
