This is Lithporez from Let's Get Dressed, and one thing fashion has taught me is that the smallest details are often what makes something feel truly special. The weight of a fabric, the click of a clasp, or the way a beautifully tailored piece moves. Lexus approaches craftsmanship the exact same way. Their master craftsman, called Takumi, evaluates sensory details like the sound of a door closing, the click of a switch, and the acoustic feedback of the controls. It's a human perception and intuition to create what feels right, and that's engineering to be felt. Because a car that doesn't make you feel something is a car that stops short of amazing. Experience amazing at your Lexus dealer. Therapy's biggest impact doesn't show up in some dramatic breakthrough. It shows up in the smallest moments. You bite your tongue instead of escalating. You put your phone down instead of firing off that text. You say what you actually mean instead of what would hurt someone else the most. Nobody applauds those moments, but they quietly change your life. That's what growing feels like, and that's exactly what growth therapy is here for.

Wherever you're watching or listening to this around the world, there's always thank you very much for joining me here on the channel, the home of the Premier League champions who are now in the middle of it. Well, I wish we were in the middle of the beginning of a big long extended international break. Does mean obviously that we don't have the one in October, which is nice. We do have the one in November.

But yeah, at least we're getting the November one out the way as well at the same time, but it does feel like an eternity until the next Arsenal game. But it is what it is and we do have some plenty of good international fixtures to keep us entertained which will start a little bit later on in a week. I think the first one involved in proper Arsenal players is Germany versus Netherlands. We'll be kind of at the end of the year. In that one, so yes, we do have some international. We're going to talk about international football as well because Declan Rice has pulled out in England, Scott, so we're going to talk about that. News is a little bit slow today at the start of the international break. I thought I would have a look at some of the key things that I would like to see happen during the international break from an Arsenal points of view as well. I think we're going to look at that. Lots of you have been getting in touch in reaction to the sort of the midfield issue that we were talking about in yesterday's show. So thank you very much for that as well. We will look at all the women in action later on today in the Champions League as well. And yes, so got plenty to talk about, even though it is still relatively relatively quiet.

First of all, we're big, big, happy birthday to two of our discord members are inside Arsenal, patron members. DJ and Iris Goona, happy birthday boys. I hope you haven't good on me. I have already wished you a happy birthday on the on the discord page this morning. I just wanted to give you both a bit of a birthday shout out as well. I hope you had a great day yesterday, Oli and I hope you to have great days today as well. Right. Let's start with Declan Rice. Interest in news. Declan Rice, one of five players to pull out. Yes, they have Col Parma pulled out first of all the England squad. And then some more absences have five with Declan Rice from an Arsenal point of view anyway, the main sort of name in that list. Is this a good thing? I think so. I think it's a very good thing. Declan, obviously 69 games in all comps last season made it all the way through to the final weekend, basically, of the World Cup with England had three weeks off. You know, I remember at the end of that World Cup, we were sort of talking well, maybe we weren't even seeing him till the first international break,

just give him like six weeks off, eight weeks off now to recover. You know, been three weeks there he is on the bench in the community shield started in the opening game of the season against Coventry. And he's played pretty much all the games since then, not the Cararral Cup, of course. And it has been put down to load management. So the word we're getting is a sort of specific injury or anything like that. And I would say I would hope anyway that this is a decision that's been taken between England and between Arsenal, which just has lots of common sense ringing about you'll get all the rival fans and everything like that. So I know, pulling out blah blah blah typical Arsenal all of that. But you've got to put this one into context. This is a guy who plays all the time for England. There's played so much for 69 games last season. And barely had a break. And he was back earlier than I think we all expected. So maybe the whole sort of why it was like, OK, you're going to come back, you're going to play those first games. But then we're going to give you a second mini preseason during the first international break.

And you know, if England are quite happy of that, if discussions have been handling, England are quite happy with that. It just feels to me like a perfectly sensible decision for such a key player, not just for Arsenal, but for England and for Thomas Tuckle as well. So it makes sense for them, although it's frustrating, I imagine not to have him for some of these games. England of course, some big games coming out, got the world champions on sat there, Wembley against Spain. But sometimes you got to look more long term and you know, Declan Rice, you would imagine certainly hope is going to have a hell of a lot of games to play again this season because you think Arsenal are going to go deep in. In most of the competitions that they're playing in. So you're looking at another 60 plus game season for Declan Rice. So when you can give them a bit of a rest, you need to be able to do that. So I think this is a good, good decision. I'm glad. And the one thing with Thomas Tuckle. Is that I get the impression of him over any other sort of England manager we've had recently is that and maybe this is because of the sort of club experience he's had before he took over Arsenal of Chelsea by minute, you know, he knew he knows the demands these players are under.

And just like you know, the other top club managers do now maybe because of that he understands it a little bit more. But if it does feel like of all the England managers who've had a late. That he is the one that really sort of gets it when it comes to when it comes to rest in a rotation and things like that. So feels like a sensible decision to me. Good, good for England, good for Arsenal. Marley Sam is also pulled out of England international duty. I think that one needs more to do with a little slight injury he has picked up was obviously going to be playing alongside Max Downman in the 19s, I think England under 19s, but he's pulled out as well. So rice and Marley Sam and pulled out, Pierre and Capillets, we spoke about yesterday, not caught up by Ecuador because of the injury that he suffered just before the international break, although he was on the bench against Brighton obviously kind of has been caught up for Germany, but only play the first couple of games. So the second club name in two completely different squads basically one squad that's going to play the first two games and another squad that's going to play the second two games, kind of have it's in the first batch of those fixtures.

So once he gets first two games underway it out the way he will have a break as well, which is good. So let me know your thoughts on all of that in the comments below. So it's down when there has been suggestions with the players who pulled out with like Cole Palmer, like Declan, a couple other players as well, who off the top of my head names this gave me Livramento was one of them I can't remember who the other two were, but there have been suggestions or whispers that the suddenly Max Downman is going to be called into the England squads. So it's not the case where this sort of story comes from Charlie over the sun reported that Thomas Tukers very keen to have a look at Max Downman and given the under nine teams where Downman is included at the moment of the part of squad training at St George's Park, he might get the opportunity to come over and just sort of train with some of the England players. So you can have a look at him sort of make up some of the numbers, but not he's not actually getting a call up so I think people saw Charlie story and then that kind of grew a little bit snowballed a little bit into other people suggesting he was going to be called up as an actual official squad member I don't think that is the case, but if he does get to go over and train of England, even just for a couple of sessions during the session right now I'm another really big thing for him, I don't think you'll phase him at all I think would be fine.

And it probably would be beneficial as well for him as he continues to develop one opportunity to be to play play with England squad under the eyes of Thomas Tukers. So yeah, I wouldn't be getting overly excited, but if you're seeing suggestions that Max Downman is going to be called up seeing them squad, I wouldn't be getting overly excited about that I think it's more of a case that he might just be asked to come over and train for a couple of sessions to help make up the numbers and just to give him a little bit of experience. So I think it's going to be a little bit more of a case that he's going to be called up seeing them squad. So I think it's going to be a little bit more of a case that he's going to be called up seeing them squad. So I would just jot it down a few things of what my ideal my ideal arsenal my ideal international break would be when it comes to Arsenal. So number one is that Michaela Teta sign is a new contract that that gets confirmed and announced I think it will happen. I'll be I'll be surprised if we get into into the international break and Michaela has not Michaela's new contract has not been confirmed by the club.

He spoke about it last week before the the bright and games that we're all aligned on that when he was asked is it going to happen during this international break he was being very coy said I don't know might happen or I know we'll have to wait and see on it but all the suggestions are this will will happen. This seems a perfect time if you're not going to do it now then when are you going to we're going to get it done because as soon as you come back it's just got games left right center primarily champions league caramel cup. You're going to find the time to get it all sorted you got three week break now it's a perfect opportunity so and I think it's really important obviously just then just then uncertainties out when they're not that is really any uncertainty now because I think we all know that he's going to sign this new contract and he's going to be done. But if if you can actually have it done and you can see it then you know you don't have to go to your next press conference and have more questions or when you sign a new contract all that sort of stuff it puts it behind so that's number one. In terms of what I want to see happen during the international break number two is your greatest have a really good international break. Sweden because I think that'll be hugely important for us and all for him as well and that's been a really tough season for Victor so far early stages obviously hasn't scored yet found minutes tough to come by when he has played look pretty unwell underwhelming you know confidence understandably a bit low at the moment because of the start of season he's had so if he can go over with Sweden where you know we know he's comfortable he can score goals we've seen that plenty of times when he's at where he's going to be.

If you can go there get himself a couple of goals play quite well in a couple of games get some proper minutes under his belt you know I think that'll be massively important for us because Victor is going to be so important when the games start coming after this international break we need him you know any competition for kind of have us you need Victor looking like the the strike we saw in the final few months of last season when he was a real real handful when he was scoring some goals and yeah a good sort of confidence boost in international break for him would be really really good. And yeah it would sort of. It would kind of be just a bit of a message to our title wouldn't it if you if he goes away and he bangs in like two three four goals while he's away in these four games for Sweden you know it's it but make it really hard for for our title to ignore and that's just what you need because then when he comes back there will be the extra competition it won't be a guarantee that kind of have us you start in every single game you know what you want you want your strikers competing for that position so I think that's the only thing that I think is going to be a good one is the best way to do it. So I think we really we use all your course can have a good international break.

Sacka but kind of sacra as well I think this is going to be interesting I want to see him manage well during this international break and I really touched on it I do I do kind of trust to call to do that because I think he's I think he's quite good and he's shown he's quite good at doing it. You know Declan's pulled out no suggestion of the kind of sacra is going to is going to do the same you know like Declan we thought he might have an extended break after the World Cup it didn't happen he had basically a week off from with that training after that he started to season in pretty good shape obviously that a disappointing couple of weeks leading into an international break Mr. few chances was pretty disappointing against Brighton at the weekend so on one hand similar to your careers it'd be nice to get him over sort of confident confidence boost in. Couple of games or so we scores and goals looks a real real threat but I also don't want to see him run into the ground you know there's no matter what you can the squad. So who's normally the guy that took all uses to share the minutes with the kind of sacra so I don't want to see to call running him into the ground in this one so I think he needs to be managed I think that's really really important and another thing obviously is the arsowinger players use this break to really sort of come back and come back strongly Ben White for example we're going to see him.

For example we're real real boost if we can get to the end of the international breaking he's back and then finally we can have timber and Ben White. Play in together and you can use them rotate them start one start the other next game rotate at 60 minutes all that sort of stuff everything we've never really been able to do for last couple years when it comes to white. And timber so that be a real real bonus for scare as well mascara was at the bright and game. Travel with the squad which suggests he's obviously very very close so be really handy if he could come back fit at the end of this one celebs obviously that's pushing it we're not expecting to be about fit after this international break but is another long period of time where hopefully maybe by the time the international break so we start to see Cece Celeba in and around the sort of training ground the complex a little bit which we haven't really been able to do yet we know was not really been any signs of Celeba around the place so we don't even know if he's if he's there or not. So yeah that's so I think the main sort of for takeaways that I would like to see from this international break from an arsenal point of view are tetra that contract gets signed to be great just to see that picture of him with it done your careers as a really sort of confidence boosting international break sackers manage well but does have a good international break.

And yes some of those injured players to come back any anyone's I've forgotten or left out that you think this is what I would like to see you in international break please do let me know in the comments below if there's any interest in ones there I'll pull some of them together and get them included in tomorrow's show. This is with Perez from let's get dressed and one thing fashion has taught me is that the smallest details are often what makes something feel truly special the way to the fabric that click up a clasp or the way a beautifully tailored piece moves Lexus approaches craftsmanship the exact same way their master craftsman called to kumi evaluate sensory details like the sound of a door closing the click of a switch and the acoustic feedback of the controls they use human perception and intuition. in coverage vary by state and insurance plan. We spent a lot of time yesterday talking about midfield and the kind of the dilemma facing me. I'll tell you really given the huge selection of options he has when it comes to that midfield in terms of what's the best partnership do you do you have a best partnership with you have to look at who you're playing against in this strength for those opponents or weaknesses of those opponents before you choose your midfield you want to avoid just being out right Bruno and the only time to bring people in this there's injuries or anything like that. There've been lots of you getting your response in thank you very much for that we have Mark at the top says there are many options in midfield but Emma lesson rice to the key players are set a must stop asking rice to defend rice should be an attacking force Bruno should be the gatekeeper we have riot rice Gabrielle cons a timber odour down as starters it shows the weakness of the Arsenal team. I don't agree with that I don't agree that Bruno should be the gatekeeper of the midfield I don't think he's very good at that and I think if you ask new castle fans who have watched him over and over again over the last few years and say where's his best position it's certainly much in a more advanced position than a holding position when it comes to the midfield I think Bruno's biggest strengths are his ability in and around the final third as well.

So I'm not sure I agree with that but thank you for the thank you for the comment mark got so little day is that says why is everyone forgetting rice and super many partnership works so well with the start last season I know I mean super many just feel like kind of forgotten man at the moment. Zubi is obviously played we're seeing in play we're seeing him playing right back at the moment last couple of appearances but yeah I mean the start of season last season was fantastic the first half of the season as Michaela Teta rightly pointed out recently Arsenal probably wouldn't won the title had it not been for how well Zubi many played in those open in six months at a season. He does feel like he's pretty way he's pretty far down in the pecking order right now but things can change pretty quickly so if he performs well gets an opportunity then he could well forces way back into the side Robert says Bruno and Declan is a disaster we are too far forward to start an experiment all week in the team.

So I think we're in really or 60 minute showing against Bryson feels a little bit early to label them a disaster I think I think there's a lot to like potentially about that partnership and I'm absolutely convinced we're going to see a far better showing when the two of them next play together and we did against Bryson. And he says a great Bruno has to play 75 million his experience the team lost 3 year was not an individual problem it was a team problem I don't think what I'm saying yesterday there you know 75 million pound player that I don't think that means he has to start by any means but I just think if what I was trying to get across was you know our Tetanaster I don't think spent that amount of money on him at his age to bring him to Newcastle at 28 29 stroke 29 to be a bench player clearly they brought him in to be a key player in the start 11 does mean sign every game so I'm not sending but I'm not sending has to pay play because I'll spend that money but I just think from an ask for point of view that that sign in screams first team sign it doesn't scream squad player so I do think we'll see him back in the team and a mckel will look to get that partnership going as quickly as possible when it comes to him and Declan but thank you very much everyone for sending in your thoughts on that.

Just quickly the women in action tonight good luck to them in the Champions League been a difficult start to the season really certainly in the league obviously got late late equalized against Manchester United at a weekend but yeah disappoint and start no no sort of avoiding that one really already a little bit off the pace in the WSL but it is Champions League tonight against I can't I'm not sure how you pronounce it's a hokey from a Denmark 8 p.m. kick off at Medo Park so yeah good luck to the ladies when it's like a press conference yesterday she said we've looked at what chances to be in the game and what it looked like we're learning from the United game how can we set up our chances how do we arrive in the box those things that's what been speaking about mainly we're all disappointed with the four points lost in league what we do know is we are very very close we all believe that when it clicks it will click that doesn't take away from the four points we've lost but that's what we need to focus on moving forward I mean big big chances missed in both games not so much United game but certainly the opening game of the season you know how quite how awesome the Manchester score in that game sort of a theme that ran through last season to be fair yeah and can need to get themselves up and running very quickly in this opportunity away from the league to potentially do that in terms of team news like Wubemoy being assessing and some of the long term absentees obviously still out like like a Vandons Kate you read getting closer to a return show as you're mang as well so yeah that's the latest team news good luck to the women tonight you can watch that if you're not going to Boran Wudgy can watch it tonight it's on Disney plus over here

in the UK just one from Rohit now before we wrap this one up for today says morning Charles I have a counter view to all the negativity while the defeat was damaging why can't it give our tetra good problems or solve how to win versus teams which press the current squad I see it is an opportunity for us to evolve e.g. Conte in 2017 after we thrashed them 3-0 we moan about lack of pace but non-ease on the left is an option you can leave an attacker or two higher out the pitch for a ball up the pitch if our midfielders had been clean with a passing early on versus Brighton the game could have been very different misplaced passes early on sometimes like a disease which affects the entire team and that's what happens I think we need this break and the team to reset and to come back stronger I thought it was a really good point from Rohit the Comsy point was really interesting because I was thinking about that when I was driving home from Brighton I was thinking about that Chelsea game I often think about it in terms of what a sliding doors moment that was for Chelsea you know looks such as shambles that start that season came to us and we absolutely blitzed them 3-0 could do me more

and then Comsy obviously completely changed things changed the system and they just went on a you know fantastic march from that point onwards and what ended up winning the title so there are moments and games where maybe you do change I don't think that Arsenal aren't going to drastically change our tetra is not going to do a contact completely ripped things up and start again because of one defeat to Brighton after 9 Premier League wins in a row he's not going to do that but I do think it's interesting you do raise an interesting point in terms of how you know our tetra set afterwards we need to learn from this it's like hey exactly what what are you going to do what are we going to see that is different maybe there are things you can do differently in terms of when you're pressed like that again as I said yesterday I don't think we're going to face that sort of press every week is impossible I don't think many teams can do what Brighton do certainly not as well as Brighton do it so I'm not expecting that to suddenly become the blueprint of how to be Arsenal but there will be times when we come up against something similar when we go to Bournemouth for example who are very very good at we play Brentford when we play Brighton again man City of Shown they can they can do stuff like that against Arsenal as well so how do you do things

seems differently not to struggle one thing I will say when you expect certainly when you look at the goals none of the goals came from the press you know there were one one goal was a transition counter attack goal the second one obviously the first goal was just ranked bad defending from Arsenal really allowing Pascal gross that sort of space and the third goal was obviously a set piece see the press is what unsettled Arsenal when it got Brighton on top and they gave them all the momentum but and Arsenal were fortunate at times when they did turn the ball over deep that they didn't end up concealing goals so yeah it's interesting one I'll be intrigued to see what Arsenal do the matter wake on the left thing is interesting you know I do think that is an option that we need to see more of and I always say this but when when Arsenal signed Madaway case sort of conversations I had around that transfer of people who were sort of involved in it was that he was being brought in as a really strong option on the left hand side not just to purely be back up on competition cover for sack up but to be a genuine starter potentially on the left hand side but we just

haven't seen it apart from early on and it will be interesting if that is something we do start to see again as a season progresses anyway that is it from me today everyone thank you for watching thank you for listening appreciate your time as always I'll be back in the morning to do it all over again for inside Arsenal patreon members we do have the FPL show coming later this afternoon myself and Mark getting together to go through that around that latest standings we do have the September manager of the month to announce as well so take it easy everyone speeches soon have a great day bye eux pros savings days save more on the products you count on to get the job done right get a free two pack of do all twenty volt max x r eight amp hour batteries when you buy a select do all twenty volt max power tools plus save up to thirty five percent on select major appliances The right products, the right deals, ready when you need them.
