Lt: Balta žiema buvo apsisiautusi Trakų salos pilį.
En: The white winter had clothed Trakų salos pilį (Island Castle in Trakai).

Lt: Pilis stovėjo ant sustingusio Galvės ežero, lyg senovinis sargas prie ledinio kranto.
En: The castle stood on the frozen Galvės ežero (Lake Galvės), like an ancient guard by the icy shore.

Lt: Dovydas lėtai ėjo link pilies vartų, mintis paskandinęs praeityje.
En: Dovydas walked slowly towards the castle gates, his thoughts submerged in the past.
