Reality Stars' Birthday Drama: Harry & Jessi's Private Messages

0:00It's March 26, Durham news today starts now, AI powered and ready. HBO Max has a standout comedy this March 2026, with Rooster, starring Steve Carell in top form. Carell plays Greg Russo, the author of hugely popular novels about a character named Rooster, but his own life feels pretty ordinary by comparison. People even mistake him for his fictional hero, which leads to plenty of awkward and funny moments. Greg heads to Ludlow College as a lecturer, giving him a fresh start and a chance to reconnect with his daughter Katie. She's played by Charlie Clive, and going through a rough divorce from her colleague Archie, who left her for another instructor. This father-daughter setup drives a lot of the heart and humor in the early episodes. Fans are loving Carell's shift away from his office days, saying he looks right at home in this more grounded, yet relatable role. The show taps into themes of living up to expectations and family support, making it easy to root for these characters amid the laughs.

1:01The supporting cast elevates everything, with John C. McGinley as the quirky college president, Danielle Deadwiler as a fellow professor, Iangreg. And Phil Dunster and Lauren Sy, adding sharp edges as Katie's ex and his new partner, their chemistry promises strong comedic payoffs. Rooster feels built for a long run if it keeps this momentum, so grab your HBO Max subscription, and dive in for some of the best laughs this month.
