1:01Well, she's back and she is threatening to sue a comedian for telling jokes about her. Well, in other news, the Aussie comedian behind the Reagan and Spide Music all vows to get the show back on the road. After the city preview was cancelled hours before it's taboo, the Olympic break dancers legal team had threatened action over the show, claiming they're committed to safeguarding Rachel Gunn's creative rights. And you'll like this, the integrity of her work. I don't know if I would describe rolling around on the floor like you're having a seizure at the Olympics as a work with integrity, Rachel. I myself am a stand-up comedian and we protect our own. So this video is going to be a big one because not only am I going to point out how in my opinion, it appears that Ray Gunn is lying in her public statements about the lawsuit and the apology that I may have forced her to make. So this is why my management and legal team had to work so quickly to shut the musical down. But I believe that I'm able to prove that she is lying because, through an anonymous source, I managed to get my hands on the actual legal letter

2:04that Ray Gunn sent to Steph Rodbridge the comedian as well as the venue. It was really unfortunate that the show had to be cancelled so close to the launch. And let's just say the public statements Ray Gunn has made to you to make herself look like the victim don't line up with the legal threats that she's been sending to comedians and venues across the country. Before we begin, here's a recap that I posted on my Instagram that will become very important later. Remember Ray Gunn? The woman's so bad at breakdancing, it turned Australia into the laughing stock of the world and got the sport dropped by the Olympics entirely. Well, she's back to say, stop laughing by suing a comedian for putting on a parody show called Ray Gunn the Musical. Despite parody being protected by Australian law, Ray Gunn threatened to sue the venue as well. And now, like breakdancing at the Olympics, thanks to Ray Gunn, it's been cancelled. In her legal letter, Ray Gunn says the kangaroo dance is her intellectual property

3:04and that nobody else can perform it. You own the idea of dancing like a kangaroo. That's an interesting claim from a woman who did it 20 years after the Wiggles and 60,000 years after Indigenous people did. Although to be fair to Ray Gunn, unlike the Wiggles, she didn't do the dance with Ralph Harris. And as for your other moves, Rachel, I'm pretty sure Michael J. Fox has done most of these ones before and I've definitely seen this move on family guy. Also, isn't your PhD thesis titled, D Territorializing Gender in Sydney's Breakdancing Scene? Your entire doctorate is about why women are struggling to get into breakdancing and here you are suing another woman for getting into breakdancing. Seems pretty territorial to me, Ray Gunn. Look, Rachel, you had a real shot at becoming a relatable, likeable, funny part of Australian culture. But with this move, you've blown your second massive opportunity. Earlier this week, a comedian named Steph Broadbridge announced that she has been threatened to be sued by Ray Gunn's legal team after they found out that she was putting on a show called Ray Gunn the Musical, a parody of her journey from before the Olympics to performing at the Olympics.

4:09He is the poster that was used and he is some of the promotional material. Ray Gunn saw this and sent a letter to Steph Broadbridge threatening her with legal action as well as threatening the venues that were putting on the show and Steph had to cancel. Here's her response. Steph Broadbridge, I'm just hanging out in my casual day where I might try to show tonight for Ray Gunn the Musical has been canceled. Ray Gunn's lawyers got in touch with the venue and threatened legal action. So we will be refunding everyone their $10 or comp ticket back for that. Ray Gunn's suing a comedian for trying to sell $10 tickets, some of which were given away for free, is maybe one of the most pathetic things that I've seen from an Olympic level athlete. And I've seen Ray Gunn's performance at the Olympics. And they're also worried that I was damaging her brand, which I would never do. She doesn't need me to do that. They also said I wasn't allowed to do the dance because she owns

5:13the kangaroo dance. That one did puzzle me. I mean that's an Olympic level dance. How would I possibly be able to do that without any formal break dancing training? Steph goes on to say that Ray Gunn has trademarked the poster that Broadbridge made, which will be important later, as well as saying that she has trademarked the kangaroo dance, which will be even more important later. After these legal threats, Steph had to cancel multiple shows at multiple different comedy festivals. Now I am doing multiple comedy festivals this year. Tickets are there. I know how expensive this is. You have to pay registration fees, you have to pay venue deposits. She may even have booked accommodation. All of that money, seemingly she may lose out on because of Ray Gunn's insecurity. After this video that Steph made, plus my video and a video by a few other comedians, the entire country has been made aware of Ray Gunn's hypocrisy and inability to laugh at herself. She has done the exact opposite of what she was trying to do. It's also resulted in a massive amount of publicity. Four-step

6:15Broadbridge, she's now doing interviews with every major news organization like this one on the project. This last night was supposed to be a big preview night. What on earth happened? Yeah, so we were all ready to go. We've been doing rehearsals. I had a eight person cast. I had band members coming from Canberra and then I received a message from the comedy club that I was performing at that they had a cease and desist from Ray Gunn's lawyers and we weren't going to be out of proceed. I really sympathise with Steph here because I have had my live shows campaigned against by protesters, by powerful media figures and it is so so stressful because the decision for the show to go ahead is almost never in the comedians hands. The comedian will almost always want to do the show but the venue might be scared. The person running the room might be scared. The person running the comedy festival might be scared if any one of these three or sponsors or more people say no the entire thing crumbles and it's completely out of your hands. I've been very

7:16lucky where I've had people stand behind me but it's not even surprising to see other venues not want to get sued or deal with the legal battle that even they know they would probably win in court. It's just not worth the hassle for the venue like it is for the artist. To me she's an Australian icon, a female Australian icon, a white female Australian icon and I was like I could play that. I'm very excited to tell her story. It wasn't supposed to be nasty or done with any kind of malice and it certainly wasn't supposed to take place on the scale that it's taken place. This was meant to be very low case. It is very ironic that Ray Gunn's lawyers tried to cancel what would have been I don't know. I know the room she was performing at. I think it's like a hundred people max for 10 bucks. So like I don't know a thousand dollars. That wouldn't have recouped the flights of the band going over. They've managed to cancel that but now when this comedian manages to pull this show and put it back on the road which I'm sure she will, I think she might be doing theaters because

8:16Australia is going to get behind it. There's been a bit of publicity about it. We're talking to about it on the show. I know that the preview got cancelled but I mean this might fire up again and it might be great for ticket sales. I hope it's good for ticket sales. I don't know how it's going to be for creativity if I'm going to have lawyers breathing down my neck telling me what I can and can't say on stage. That's going to be very frustrating but we'll see how we go. And I think as Australians we should stand behind our comedians who want to make fun of powerful figures like people who are bad at break dancing. So with that said I would like to announce this unofficial petition not endorsed or known about by Steph Broderbridge. We don't know each other. Reagan's legal team come after me. Not her. This petition let Steph perform. Sign the petition. Tell the world that you want to see her show and whenever she organizes whatever show she's able to legally do I will notify every single person who signs this petition where to buy tickets and will send a message to Reagan that you don't sue comedians because you don't like their jokes. She seems like such a sweet person who yeah was trying to bring people into Reagan's story and lift her up with jokes not belittle her or steal money from her or infringe her copyright. It's so not malicious. It's such a blunder of Reagan to do this because Steph is right. She could be beloved by Australia. Australians have done this before. Remember the guy that won the the speed skating race because everybody else fell over. He was coming last and then he came first. We love that guy. We love that guy so much and he sucks at speed racing compared to all the other Olympic athletes but because he was a good sport and was just as surprised as we

Remember Eric the eel this guy who swam in the Olympics even though he couldn't really swim the guy almost drowned trying to complete the race but because he tried and because he was grateful for the opportunity and because he was able to laugh and embrace the tongue and cheek nickname that the world gave him you know what's happened in his country. He is now the face of swimming in his country. There are pools being built across his country that didn't exist before and children who before would have drowned in a body of water if they've stepped foot in one and now learning how to swim. He's become an ambassador for swimming. This could have happened for Reagan if she was able to laugh and join in with the banter but she's so insecure that she's deciding to sue people instead and if there's one thing Australians can't stand it's people too big for their boots who can't have a laugh. It's crazy that she can't laugh at herself especially when you look at how Reagan got into the Olympics. I mean she kind of essentially won because not enough people signed up to the hints that she competed in. That's how

11:27she got to compete in the Olympics because people much better than her didn't even show up to the trials. I mean her being in the Olympics is like when Hamish Black won the bodybuilding competition because no one in the weight class he entered in showed up. We picked the right contest because he can't lose tonight and all the other athletes in the show tonight none of them came in as a heavyweight which is 200 plus pounds. Hamish did. So now you caught up to current day and what's happening right now is the entire country has railed against Reagan and with Steph Broadbridge with the Australian comedy community it's amazing right. So Reagan because of all of this backlash has been forced to release a soppy fake apology that in my opinion appears to be full of lies because I have her apology but I also have her legal letter. Hi everyone, Reagan here. I just wanted

12:30to say a few words about this Reagan the musical. The first we heard of it was last Friday when it was a story in the city morning herald and on channel seven news. I'll stop her right there. So she says the first that she heard of this show was last Friday which is the sixth of December. Remember that date that's the first she heard of the Reagan musical. We were totally blindsided by this and unfortunately the blowback was quick. People assumed that we had developed it, that we had approved it and it damaged many relationships both personal and professional. What do you mean a damaged relationships personal and professional? There's no way that anyone believed that this was actually her and if they did it would be clarified with a text going, nah that's a comedian not me lol read the poster. It's a parody and parody in Australia

13:30unlike a lot of countries is actually protected in our copyright law. If this went to court Reagan's team would most likely lose. But Reagan and her legal team know that Steph brought bridge venues and many other comedians probably can't afford to go to court and have an extended legal battle to prove that they are actually correct and that Reagan is wrong. So they just have to fold it's bullying and it's throwing your weight around and it sucks. So this is why my management and legal team had to work so quickly to shut the musical down. You worked really quickly did you? So Reagan's claim here like I said before is that she first heard about the show on the 6th of December. Well let's see how true that is when we have a look at her legal letter. I was sent this letter by an anonymous source and it says urgent response required 3pm 6th of December 2024 it was sent on the 6th of December. But let's have a look at when they probably started writing this because I'm told that they received this email at about

14:3311am in the morning. So you're telling me that lawyers found out about the show did all the research they needed to do about the show and wrote this incredibly dense three page long lawyer letter in about two hours. I doubt it you know I doubt it because I have here a screenshot of a post from Steph Broadbridge the first post advertising the show. As you can see here we've got the Reagan the musical we've got the kangaroo pose the silhouette and when was this posted the 25th of September and we can actually see exactly when Reagan's legal team trademarked the silhouette of the kangaroo pose that you can see on the poster. That's right it was trademarked the very same day the 25th of September. Ooh watch a coincidence so you're saying that you only found out about this musical the morning you sent off the legal letter but we have here evidence that you trademarked the silhouette after Steph Broadbridge posted it on Instagram. It seems in my opinion that

15:39it appears that someone is telling a few fibs. You know who else agrees the producer of the show and the guy running the venue he's what he put on his Instagram. Thor Reagan's video about the musical I was producing and helping run basically filled to the brim with lies he's such as blindsided by it her and her legal team you know I've got proof here that they took the silhouette from the poster and trademarked it the same day followed the same day the poster came out so like sure and that was months ago yeah blindsided by us but also this is how you do a video without reading a script especially when you're going to apologize to the indigenous people my god bro what's that? Oh what's that? That's when it was filed. Oh what's this? 25th of September? That's when it was posted by Steph. Very interesting blindsided you say. Now look I don't know if this silhouette is a photo of Reagan if it is fine that's your copyright take it off the poster

16:44Steph should be able to do her show she can take a different photo of her in the costume dressed as you parodying you that's completely legal you can't cancel the whole show because there was some infringement around one poster and infringement by the way that seems only possible because you copyrighted it after you saw her poster. It was really unfortunate that the show had to be canceled so close to the launch I know the artist would have put a lot of work into it and that really sucks. A hot tip if you are talking about someone wasting time money effort and you stepping on their dreams maybe don't smile when you're making this weird pseudo apology where you just kind of justify your mean actions maybe don't smile when you talk about the harm you're causing another performer. But had we known about it sooner there could have been a different outcome. Had you known about it sooner you mean like when you filed the copyright claim around the same time Steph brought bridge posted her poster. Seems like you knew about it way before you're saying you did.

17:47Also what would that different outcome be? Well let's have a look at the legal letter to see some alternative solutions that they offered Steph brought bridge. Further to the online promotion the musical is sold out which is directly attributable to our clients popularity. I don't know about a popularity right now but okay the ticket sales are clearly a result of our clients influence and recognition. I would say it's actually because your client is quite easy to laugh at and Steph brought bridge is a good comedian and it's comedy festival season around now so that's why it was sold out. Also she sent you gave away a lot of free tickets this was a trial show so if your client is so popular why were the tickets priced ten bucks and why did she have to give some away. Our client would like to resolve this matter quickly and amicably to resolve this matter our client requires that you undertake to immediately cancel the proposed show scheduled to be performed on the 7th of December. Provide evidence that you've announced that withdrawal and cancellation of Reagan the musical by 3pm today sticks to December only a few hours after they sent this letter.

18:49Provide a comprehensive list of tickets sold and the total revenue made using our clients IP and provide a list of all future dates, times and venues in which Reagan the musical was to be endorsed and performed. I really do strive to support creativity and have loved the ways my performance has sparked so many different artistic interpretations and there were so many fantastic means that were clever and funny and creative. I have a whole folder of them on my phone. Guys isn't it amazing how cool I am when people use photos of me it's so great. I love people using photos of me and getting creative with them but if a comedian does it to make fun of me I'll sue them into oblivion. So not being able to take a joke is not what the issue is here. Wrong I don't think Reagan knows how to take a joke I think this is the biggest lie she tells in the entire apology. I mean just have a look at her reaction to Jimmy Fallon parodying her dance.

19:54Are you suing him Reagan or are you scared because they've got more money than you do and you're worried that you wouldn't be able to afford a legal battle with a much bigger entity kind of like what you're doing the Steph Broadbridge. I think the moment where I thought okay this is wild this is now out of control is when I saw the sketch on Jimmy Fallon and it's just I don't know about you look at this face do you think this is the facial expression of someone who loves to have a laugh and doesn't mind jokes being told about her or is this like the narcissistic veil being cracked and we're seeing the the darkness underneath I don't know maybe I'm reading too much into it but that's generally not the face I may add comedy shows. I have to wonder where Reagan is right now. What's that music coming from? This has also never been about the money. I have been contacted to go on just about every reality TV show out there and I've declined big money because I'm not about that. This has never been about the money. I wonder how true that is. Let us again refer to the legal letter that you sent. Our client has spent significant time, effort and expense in extensively promoting and using her intellectual property including her ray gun representation. The intellectual property rights accrued to our client have become a very valuable asset and our client takes the protection of their intellectual property rights very seriously. Our client's rights and their intellectual property are very valuable. Our client will take whatever action is available

23:03to protect its rights. I don't know in my opinion reading through this it sounds like money is very important to ray gun especially when you see the actual threat of consequences that they hold over Steph's head in this part of the legal letter. Our client's choreography is an original dramatic work. In our view if the choreography is used our client will suffer loss and damage by reason of the infringement committed including loss of a licensing fee that's them asking for money to be paid for Steph to do her dance. But it moves pretty far beyond asking when you get to this part of the letter the consequences. As such our client will have a clear course of action against your company for copyright infringement. We note that in the event of a successful copyright infringement action the courts may grant our client the following. A an injunction, B declarations of your company's infringements and either B damages or C an account of profits. We note also that the court may choose to award additional damages having regard to the flagrancy of the infringement. In this vein please accept this letter as a notification of infringement should the choreography be used.

24:07Bumping that down from legalese to common man speak they saying if you do this show and do our dance will take every dollar you make. I don't know about you guys but that sounds like it's very much about the money to me. So I also wanted to take a moment to correct some of the misinformation. Yes I've trademarked my name and my now famous kangaroo silhouette pose which is being used and just about every piece of Reagan merch out there which I'm not profiting from by the way. Again may I point out that this kangaroo pose was coincidentally filed for trademark the very same day that Steph Broadbridge posted the poster of Reagan the musical. So this sounds true but I'm not sure if it actually is. But to take a pause here from Trashing Reagan I would like to say that I agree with her she should be protecting her copyright when it comes to bootleg merchandise. There will be a lot of people making a lot of money selling t-shirts with her likeness on it that aren't parodies that

25:11aren't like comedic works that aren't commenting criticism not protected by copyright law. So in that case if people are making hundreds of thousands of dollars or millions of dollars selling photos of your face go for it. So if a comedian is putting on a parody musical about your life story that's protected by copyright law specifically parody and you have no case. In terms of the kangaroo dance I did not trademark it or claim any trademark ownership of the kangaroo dance. This is an important point which we'll get into later again referring back to the legal letter but this is a big point of criticism that I pointed out in my video that almost two million views in a day which is she's claiming to own the kangaroo dance but obviously Indigenous people were the first ever people to dance like a kangaroo. They've been doing that for 60,000 years and after them the Wiggles did it like 20 years ago. You can't own dancing like a kangaroo unless you are I don't know a fucking kangaroo. I did get this one comment though from this guy

26:16going oh there's absolutely no evidence that Aboriginal people have been dancing like kangaroos for 60,000 years. I don't know what do you want bro for them to pull out a camcorder in the year 58,000 BC so you can film it like do you think it's an absolutely wild insane assumption to think that Indigenous people with no technology around them surrounded almost permanently by kangaroos wouldn't at some point look at one of them and be like oh man see that thing uh that thing over there when I'm going to get the kangaroo that jumping thing I reckon kangaroo dance like yeah show me fuck mate that's pretty good hey that's sick that that looks just like a kangaroo I reckon I reckon I could do that too. I sure hope a white lady doesn't steal this from us and it in no way mimics Aboriginal dance it was instead inspired by the Australian Olympic mascot BK the boxing

That is a sneaky little half truth because again if we refer to the legal letter let's see what her lawyers have to say about the kangaroo dance or as they call it her choreography. In the legal letter Reagan says that she has trademarked this silhouetted and photo version of her doing the kangaroo pose as a logo or a trademark or like uh an example of her name without text right that is true. Now in her video she says that she does not trademark or claim ownership of the kangaroo dance let's have a look at what they say about that though. Our client's choreography performed at the Olympics was the culmination of over 10 years of training fuck maybe you should have done 20. Our client has spent significant time effort and expense creating her choreography you will recognize this Olympic level choreography is a complex sequence of moves and techniques of which

28:17our client is the creator and author copyright subsists in this choreography as an artistic work. So while yes it is technically true that Reagan has not trademarked the kangaroo dance it is also true that she is claiming that she owns the copyright to the choreography of which within the kangaroo dance exists. For the layman here's a quick little rundown of how copyright works for artistic work and why you don't have to trademark any artistic work to defend your ownership of it in a court of law. But simplicity sake I'm going to talk about drawing a picture. If I draw a picture I automatically own the copyright to that picture because I created it. If I can prove that I created I own the copyright to that picture. If somebody else photocopies it and starts to sell it I could sue them for copyright infringement even though I never paid for a trademark I never had to register it anywhere it is my copyright my intellectual property because I made it. For example

29:18this video that you're watching right now is automatically copyrighted by me because I've created it it is my intellectual property. If you had to show up to a courthouse and pay a trademark registration fee for every single thought idea and creation that comes out of our heads the court system would be bogged down for years no one would be able to afford to create anything so that's why this broad brush law of if you created it's your intellectual property exists. You do not have to trademark a dance a song a picture to own the intellectual property and sue someone else for infringing upon it. So while yes it is true that she did not trademark the dance she is still threatening to sue someone because she says they're using her intellectual property it's splitting hairs and the effect is the same you are trying to intimidate a performer by using lawyers to not perform your choreography also known as the kangaroo dance. And in no way mimics Aboriginal dance

30:18it was instead inspired by the Australian Olympic mascot BK the boxing kangaroo. In a no way mimics traditional Aboriginal dance I don't know man I've been seeing thousands of comments from indigenous people saying that it actually resembles their culture very very much. But it is interesting Reagan that you say that your dance was inspired by BK the boxing kangaroo which is owned by the Olympics copyrighted and trademarked by the Olympics because again if we refer to your legal letter and your legal team's words that would be very dangerous to do copy an Olympic trademark copyrighted dance move. As an additional note we have observed the use of the Olympic name in relation to the promotion the production bit of a typo there maybe they really did write it in two hours. The International Olympic Committee the International Olympic Committee what am I saying? The International Olympic Committee is well known for taking unauthorized use of its name marks

31:18and insignia very seriously. They then reference a legal case where the Olympics sued Jake Paul because he was talking about the Olympics in a product without their approval. So here they are threatening Steph Broadbridge for talking about the Olympics while Reagan herself talks about the Olympics in relation to the creation of her original work. One rule for me another for me. Also the court case they're referencing was not between Jake Paul and his drink prime they've confused the two Paul brothers they clearly mean Logan Paul between all the typos and misinformation in his legal letter and makes me think you found these lawyers from a discount bargain bin Reagan. Now I know that this misinformation about the kangaroo dance has upset many members of the Indigenous community and I'm sorry for that and I'm really sorry that this hasn't been corrected sooner. I have the utmost respect for Indigenous Australians who are part of the oldest continuous

32:20living culture on the planet. I'm so sick of white ladies talking down to Indigenous people. She literally says I'm really sorry if you're offended because you've been tricked by misinformation and if you believed it you're just stupid and I'm sorry that I wasn't here to save you by telling you what the actual truth is you poor misled Indigenous people. I also love how she's clearly reading from a script the entire time like she needs words on a screen to remind her that she should respect Indigenous people. Now it's disappointing to see how quickly misinformation and negativity spreads. Please remember that just because you hear or read something about someone on social media that doesn't mean it's the full story or even that it's true. Remember also that there is a person behind all this with a family, with friends and who until

Your PhD like I said earlier is about de-territorializing women and minorities in break dancing but here you are suing another woman for trying to get into break dancing who in her words was doing it to celebrate you through humor. It was never my intention to mislead people into thinking that she was involved in the production yet parody musicals even if they have the name of the person they're parodying in the title of the musical are not misleading at all unless you are a moron. She is not and continues to not be attached to this project in any way. I have changed the name of the show and the silhouette and will not use her name or the silhouette ever again. This is absolutely no criticism of Steph

1:18:01at all but yeah this is what happens when big legal teams come after small comedians they you know either have to buckle or way up the risk of losing everything to fight a court battle that they know they would win. It is a lot easier to just write statements like this with the approval of the other people's lawyers and sorted out privately and that is often the explicit tactic that big legal teams use when targeting smaller people they know that smaller entertainers venues kind of forward legal battles so they think they can get whatever they want. I am deeply sorry to learn that Reagan has faced negative backlash as a result of the media attention around the cancellation of the preview for the musical. The last thing I wanted was for anyone to experience hate or distress from this situation. It is obviously not Steph's fault that Reagan has received any hate because Steph hasn't posted it at all on social media other than this post and the new poster since this whole thing started like people are just responding to Reagan's actions and has nothing to do with

So again, I've not spoken to Steph about this but my theory is yeah, this was a statement that was worked out with Reagan's lawyers and Steph's team behind the scenes to avoid the stress and financial burden of a legal battle which I assume in my opinion was probably being held over Steph's head. I certainly don't begrudge her for not taking this to court. That is a super stressful and expensive scenario and a lot of people would just rather change the name, do the show and be done with all of this noise. This is pretty obviously a message where she's gloating about her victory over the evil Steph Broadbridge who was making fun of her. As we watch this video, you're going to see that she thinks that she's correcting the record and letting us know the truth of the situation because we're also stupid. We fall in victim to misinformation. But I think I found a few in my opinion fibs in this. You know, she still gets to go ahead with the musical. She's got a new name, new poster. And she still gets to take that show on the road. So, you know, it's really happy for her. And I wish you all the best with the show and with the tour.

1:24:16Again, I sound like a broken record. None of these changes needed to be made. The parody is legally defendable in court. And there is so many examples of one cases in court here in Australia and so many other examples of parodies that never made it to court because no lawyer worth their salt would sue something that they know they would lose. We have not sought any costs from all this. So there's a lot of talk around this $10,000. You didn't demand $10,000. That's funny. Let's have a look at the letter that you sent to Anthony Skinner where it literally says we require that you agree to the following absolute undertakings. You will reimburse our client with legal costs to date, which we estimate to be $10,000. What is that if not a demand? What are you talking about? That was from really early on. My like day one, my lawyers were acting on my behalf. They've sent out letters. And you know, they asked for a response by a certain time.

1:25:18Legal threats and legal letters and demands do not need to be responded to. You sent the guy an email. He doesn't have to respond. If you really believe in your lawsuit, take him to court. Then he has to respond. But as far as sending legal threats via email, nothing in the law says that you have to respond to those. Yeah, a lot of stupid people are victims of misinformation. They thought I was demanding $10,000 from the guy. But I only had to do that because he didn't respond to my email. All right, bro, I have thousands of unread emails in my inbox. I guess that makes me a negative billionaire. They didn't hear a response. You didn't get a response. So you had to demand $10,000. That's an interesting claim. Let us again refer to the legal letter where you demand $10,000, where it says in your own letter, if you're offered during this telephone conversation to compensate our client $500 is to be considered as a former offer of settlement. Please know that any offer to settle on this basis is completely rejected. They didn't hear a response. So how is it possible that Anthony ignored you and wasn't responding. But in the legal letter,

1:26:24where you demand $10,000, you reference a offer and a phone call with Anthony Skinner, where he offers you $500, which was supposed to go to a woman shelter charity. How is there an acknowledgement of a response in this demand and also a demand for $10,000. But you are saying that there was no demand of $10,000 and there was no response. All of these claims have got my head spinning. No, not not like that. Yeah, God, certainly not like that. I don't want to watch that anymore. And you know, we're worried that we might have to go to court. Obviously, no one wants that. Another veiled threat. And again, this is why I think this post that Steph made was because, in my opinion, it seems it appears I'm assuming that maybe they were keen to go to court over this thing, even though they know they would lose. Like she is still like, no one wants to go to court over this. Sounds like she does. And so the 10k was just be my potential legal costs

1:27:26if we have to go to court. You can just tell that she's an academic who went to a private school because she can just go, you know, the 10k, like everyone just has that in their savings account that they can just spend on legal fees. Oh, you know, like the 10k, like it's just, like it's $2 that you found underneath the couch. Oh, you know, I found $2. So I think I'll get myself a lolly. Also, she says, oh, you know, this would just be my potential legal costs, which is implying that no costs have actually occurred yet. So the $10,000 demand can just go away, like nothing. And it only would have been around if they went to court. But again, let us refer to the legal letter that was sent to Ed that he's skinner where they say, you will reimburse our client with legal costs to date. And the date is the six of December on this legal letter. So that means I assume these legal costs have been charged or at least they are implying that they've been charged to Reagan. You're reimburse our client with legal cost to date, which we estimate to be $10,000. So she's saying that there were no legal costs or legal costs would only happen if they went to court. But her own lawyers are saying the legal cost to date and the

1:28:31date is December six. There's been no court case. Who's telling the truth? I mean, Reagan, did you really think that after you accused everyone else of falling victim to misinformation that no one would fact check or look into the claims that you're making to set the record straight? Like sure, I bet a lot of people have believed things that are not true regarding this case, but the things that you're saying seem to be pretty provably false by looking at the words of your own legal team. So who's really spreading misinformation here? And that's will be an addressed with Steph's statement. You would have seen that she issued an apology today and she corrected or she addressed some of the misinformation and some of the hurtful comments really that's been going around. So I really appreciate that she's done that. But yeah, we're not seeking any costs. Look how happy she is that she got Steph to apologize. Like what this video is is gloating. She actually thinks that she's won here. Like this is such a private school academic mindset of,

1:29:36oh, well, you know, via emails through both of our teams and with our lawyers and her management team and the agents and we've come to an agreement by using paragraphs of text and she's apologized. So, you know, obviously I'm correct and everyone who thinks that I've done the wrong thing is just a victim of misinformation because they're not as well read as I. Yeah, I regret to inform you, Raygun, that the rest of us plebs who are victims of misinformation actually live in the real world and we can read between the lines here and see what's actually going on. Yeah, we're not we're not seeking any costs. So before it's not about the money and there's still not about the money. We've got no costs from them, not from Steph, not from the comedy club. In our view, it's all resolved again. This feels like a lie by omission because they in this legal letter, they demand costs. So what Raygun saying is like, you know, it's not about the money and we haven't gotten any costs. It's like the point is you haven't gotten any costs because one,

1:30:38they most likely weren't able to pay 10k like maybe you could, but two, because everyone has put this out into the public light and everyone has, you know, risen up against what you're trying to do here. The reason why no costs have been sought is because clearly as you are saying, you have made the decision to not seek them any longer, but you were like, you're dancing around the issue. You're going, oh, it wasn't about the money and no costs have been paid out and we're not seeking any costs. You're missing a word there. We're not seeking any costs anymore. That's the word. Like we're not seeing costs now. You obviously were then. It's in your own legal letter. If I repeatedly threaten to rob someone in private and then those messages that I've been sending to a potential victim of mine get leaked to the public and people go, oh, this guy's trying to rob someone and then if I go out and go, oh, no, there's no money. I didn't, I didn't rob anyone. So you guys have victims of misinformation. Brother, you still threaten to rob someone. No, they're being

1:31:40all legal proceedings from us as an intellectual property issue and now we have put it to bet. An intellectual property issue that you had no claim in the case. So many lawyers have chimed in on this legal experts have weighed in. You had no case. You were just slapping a potential lawsuit by threatening someone over email and demanding money from them, hoping that you would just get it so you wouldn't have to go to court to fight a battle that you know you would lose. That's that's what was happening. This is why it frustrates me that it didn't go to court because she would have lost. But again, I completely understand why nobody would want to do that. Okay. This has been a stressful time for me. Yeah, look, this has been really stressful for me. Like when I get my stick and I hit you with it, it really stresses me out as well. You know, I don't like doing that, but you upset me and you know what happens when I get upset. But you have to

1:32:44remember that I'm also a victim in this scenario. Like when I hit you when I hit you with my stick, all right, I don't like doing it and it gives me a headache. So stop making me hit you with my stick. And it's been tough for me, but I know that it's that I'm not the only one. I know that this has been tough for staff. This is a totally new environment for me to be in and I just want to say, you know, I'm sorry for any hurt that was caused. Of course, you know, I'm certainly not doing that intentionally. We're well over two thirds into this video and she finally does her presumably agreed upon apology. Like what appears to have happened is they've privately worked this out that they will both apologize to each other and then the show's name will be changed so that it can continue. But where Steph released, you know, a statement where she apologized immediately,

1:33:47Ray Gunn had to ramble on for two or three minutes about how you're the victim of misinformation for believing that she's the bad guy talking about how she never demanded money from the comedy club that this was never about cash when we have letters saying that Anthony Skinner never responded to them when their own legal letter talks about a phone conversation that they had with Anthony. And like this is just levels of narcissistic delusion that I've never seen before. I want to thank the people that have supported me through this world ride again. There's been so much misinformation online has just been so negative and just awful, just awful. No, it hasn't. It hasn't been awful at all. Every single person has been nice and everyone loves you. If you think that people have been mean, you're just a victim of misinformation, you're misinformed. There's so much misinformation floating around about this. And one of the biggest pieces of misinformation is that people are upset at you. No, of course not. Everybody loves

1:34:51you. You're really cool. Can you see how when you say things that are objectively untrue and then go, oh yeah, if you believe the truth, you're misinformed, can you see how that makes you look like you live in an alternate reality? So I just, I really want to say thank you to my supporters who have reached out with messages of positivity and kindness. And again, I'm not just defying anyone sending actual hate to Reagan. That sucks. I've never stood for that. I don't like that threats, really, really mean language, insults. I don't like that. That's no good. But the vast vast vast majority are just responding to like news reports of your own actions and going, that sucks. The girl should be able to do her show. Reagan is lame for doing this.

And after this controversy, it's had a lot of people scrutinizing how she even made it into the Olympics. And in this video, I'm going to have a look at how she was accepted and go through the conspiracy theory that many people are writing in the comments of all of my videos that ragone actually cheated her way into the Olympics and it was all a scam. All of us judges talked about how she was going to get smashed. Absolutely smashed. Of course, all of those claims are alleged hearsay and not asserted by me. We're just going to have a look at it. It's been a rough end of the year for ragone. I mean, everyone has been making fun of it over the holiday period. She probably thought we're all going to take a break. But even Netflix has been getting in on the ragone roast. If you thought that ragone had even a little bit of a chance of a claim against Steph Brautbridge when it came to her parody show, this clip from Netflix really blows that out of the water. Of course, parody via comedy is completely legal. And you can see here that Netflix is just rubbing it in ragone's face. They're doing her dance.

1:46:36They've got her costume on. They're calling her ragone. They're implying that it is her. And that's perfectly legal because it is parody. It's even happening at a comedy show. And it's happening at like a multi-million dollar event. If this was illegal, Netflix would not allow it to play. And to be honest, I didn't really think this would be that bad for ragone's reputation long term because I thought that maybe it was only something that real comedy heads and Australians cared about. I didn't think it was a global issue at all. But you've got Netflix's biggest comedians roasting her on stage at the end of the year. And then when Robbie Williams, one of the biggest pop stars in the world, came over to Australia to do our New Year's Eve special. He pulled

1:47:37out some of ragone's dance moves. Good show. Imagine being ragone right now. I bet she didn't go out to any big New Year's Eve event. I bet she was like, we're just going to keep it to be a quiet one. We'll sit at home on the couch. We'll turn on ABC and we'll watch the New Year's Eve show. That's what everybody does when they don't want to have a big one. They sit at home and they watch the ABC New Year's Eve special. She's probably thinking, oh God, I can just switch the world off and relax. And then fucking Robbie Williams gets up and starts mocking you on stage and the entire audience audibly laughs sucked in ragone. And now that brings us to the great conspiracy theory. Because I've been seeing this in comments sections under everyone in my videos in comments sections under every single post about ragone. People are convinced that she cheated her way into the Olympics and this is the conspiracy theory that other people are saying not me. The conspiracy is that ragone

1:48:39being a PhD educated academic with a specialization in break dancing and the scene used her know how to set up several different government bodies that were in charge of the selection process that decided who was going to go to the Olympics. Her husband, a man named Sammy free, is also a break dancer who happens to be her coach. The biggest part of this claim is that ragone's husband, who's her coach, was on the judging panel that made the decision to let ragone win all of her battles and send her all the way to the Olympics, even though she was nowhere near qualified and would definitely lose. That is the claim. And this claim spread like wildfire all across the internet right after the Olympics. I'm sure you've heard of it before and I'm sure that a lot of people watching this video actually believe it. I had a look at it and I thought, well, this sounds pretty compelling and so did many other people to the point where change.org had a petition taken down by the Olympics who called it defamatory. The petition ended up with almost 50,000

1:49:44signatures before the Olympics official body themselves had it taken down via legal threats. Startling new details have emerged about how ragone was able to qualify for the Paris Olympics. Now, of course, this claim does sound very compelling, but I've done a lot of research into it, so a lot of other people, including this amazing creator called flesh simulator did a deep dive into this thing and that is not true at all. Ragone did not qualify because her husband was on the judging panel. She did not set up her own government bodies that then elected her to qualify. That is not what happened. However, that does not mean that this is not suspect at all because the more you look into it and especially the more you have a look at the evidence that flesh simulator presents, the more you start to realize that this is actually pretty fishy after all. So I looked up 143 Liverpool Street Familiar and found a member list. You almost got away with it,

1:50:45didn't you? Oh, no, indeed. This controversy spread so far and wide that the Olympics themselves had to respond because ragone was going on interviews with Australian media to deny these allegations. In the aftermath of your performance, it got pretty wild actually. There were all kinds of conspiracy theories going on. Gunn, who set up her own governing body for break dancing, has manipulated the selection process. Yeah, the conspiracy theories were just awful. That was really that was upsetting because it wasn't just people that didn't understand breaking and were just angry about my performance. It was people that are now attacking our reputation and our integrity. This got so big that the Australian Olympic Committee actually sent legal threats to change.org to remove the petition and responded very publicly about what they thought of these allegations. The OOC has demanded change.org to take down the appalling petition saying it contains numerous

1:51:50falsehoods designed to engender hatred. The petition has been signed by 48,000 people. Now I and a lot of actual journalists have done some research on this and yeah, it's absolutely not true. Sammy free, Reagan's husband was not a judge on the battle that Reagan won that got her into the Olympics. Reagan did not found any bodies that were part of decision-making to put her in the Olympics. This is all not true. It does, in fact, appear that Sammy the free was in no way involved with Osprey. And it's unlikely that Reagan helped found it, although she was, in fact, as she was positively profiled by the Osprey Facebook page less than two weeks after was created, which is a little weird, kind of a certain fan should. So to qualify for the Olympics, Reagan had to win the Oceania Championship to then get put forward. Her husband had no involvement on that panel. She had no involvement with that organization, however, to get into the Oceania

1:52:50Championship, there were a lot of other battles that Reagan had to win. And this is where it gets very suspect because there are some very familiar names that are judging on panels to get there. I'm going to let flesh simulate it explain this because he does a brilliant job and you should definitely check out his full video, which I will link below. That judging process was done by an international panel of judges, none of whom were even Australian. But then I found a research paper by Reagan, Dr. Rachel Gunn. I found a research paper by Reagan, Dr. Rachel Gunn, from 2014, called Breaking Down Dominic Conceptualizations of Place, the transgressive potential in 143 Liverpool Street Familias engagement with the Downing Center course. God, if you write papers with titles that are that long, I know you can't dance. It turns out this building had its own sort of an oceanic break dancing illuminati associated

1:53:54with it. Both Reagan and Sammy the Free were members. The judges of every preliminary battle that Reagan won to make it to Oceania Championships had at least one judge from 143 LSF, including on at least one occasion per husband. So, well, yes, her husband was not a judge on the final competition that Reagan won to make it to the Olympics. He was a judge on at least one of the competitions that got her to that particular competition. And in several other battles, people that she was friends with and had worked with before were judges on those panels. So, while the big claim that most people repeat is absolutely provably false, it does seem that the spirit of the conspiracy lives on in reality when you have a look at who's judging the competitions that got Reagan through the steps to get to the oceanic qualifier, which got her to the Olympics. And it would appear that some of these people may be her friends. Now, you might be thinking, well, just because some people that were judging the competition know Reagan or were

1:54:58friends with Reagan, that doesn't mean that she didn't legitimately win all of her battles. Because, you know, this is like rap battling in Australia. It's a very small scene. Everybody knows everybody. It's pretty difficult to not have a mate on a judging panel or at least somebody that you know peripherally on a judging panel. So maybe she did legitimately win. Luckily, we actually have footage of one of the battles that Reagan won that got her through to the oceanic qualifying event that got her to the Olympics. Let's see who we think is the better breakdancer. This is Reagan versus Holy Molly.

1:56:00Yeah. Okay. I've seen enough. I don't know who you think won that battle, but I've got a pretty strong opinion who did. And one of the judges of this event on day two was from LSF, someone who Reagan appears to be intimately involved with that's who she wrote her paper on the LSF family. So that's pretty interesting, isn't it? So after winning this battle against Holy Molly, Reagan ended up continuing on and eventually made it to the oceanic qualifier, which she won, and that got her into the Olympics. Now, do you know who was a judge at the Olympic oceanic qualifier that got her into the Olympics? Well, I'll let flesh simulator explain it to you. You know who else was a member of 143 Liverpool Street Familiar? The New Zealand breakdancer, Rush, AKA Tei Hiratanga Robert Wipiha. You know what else he did? He was a judge on the panel

1:57:03for the Oceania World Championship. So, you know, it explains some stuff, doesn't it? Now, of course, I'm not asserting that Reagan cheated away in the Olympics. Absolutely not. That would be defamatory. I don't think that at all. In fact, I completely disagree with everything that flesh simulator has said, what do you think? You probably disagree as well. Couldn't be true, could it? All of us judges talked about how she was going to get smashed. Absolutely smashed. Now, I did some digging to see if Reagan talked about knowing the judges at any point in interviews. And I found this interview on the project, Bear With Me, with Wiley D'Ali, Bear With Me, where she directly makes the claim that she did not know anyone on the judging panel that selected her to go forward to the Olympics. And did you know anyone who was involved in making the selection already of the judges? There were nine judges all from overseas. I don't think any of them have judged anything that I'd been in before. I was, you know,

1:58:06super nervous about it, to be honest, because even though I'd won all these competitions in Australia, I was nervous about winning this one because it was all new judges. Is it just me or did Reagan's sidestep the question there? Wiley directly asked her, did you know anyone on the judging panel? And Reagan said, well, they weren't Australian and they'd never judged me before, but she didn't answer the question. Did you know them? Because as we know now, the guy rush from New Zealand is a member of LSF who Reagan wrote an entire paper on who has also LSF on their Facebook page two weeks after it was created, promoted Reagan immediately. That seems like a little bit of a fib. You didn't know that guy at all, Reagan. Now, of course, I'm not a break dancer. Neither is Fleshtimulator. So why don't we have a look at what actual break dancers in the scene thought about Reagan qualifying? In fact, why don't we go directly to the source? Let's have a look at what rush the judge that ended up qualifying Reagan for the Olympics

1:59:11said. All of us judges talked about how she was going to get smashed, absolutely smashed at the Olympics. She knew it was going to be rough, so it's actually courageous of her. Yeah, look, if the person that we end up sending to the Olympics who is supposed to be the best of the best of the best is someone that the judges know is going to be absolutely trashed. Why are we sending them at all? Especially when you have a look at what some other more talented break dancers have said about not even getting the opportunity to qualify for the Olympics. Fellow break dancer Leah Clark has now revealed new details about how and why the selection pool was so shallow. Clark told the Guardian Australia that Reagan qualified fair and square, but suggested she wasn't competing against the best breakers the country has to offer. According to Clark, the Oceania qualifying event took place too soon after it was advertised, meaning some breakers didn't even know it was happening, claiming there wasn't even enough big girls to fill the top 16. Yeah, look, this whole qualifying process seems to be bureaucratic hell

2:00:14that someone with a PhD would be very well versed in navigating and would even excel in jumping through these bureaucratic hoops to be able to try out. Clark also revealed breakers wanting to take part in qualifying had to register with three different organizations just to try out and they also had to have a valid international passport. When really, if we look at break dancers in general, they usually come from marginalized communities that are a little bit outside on the fringe, they're not ever well educated private school PhD owning white ladies that are making their way to 40 years old. It seems like the real talent in this country either didn't even know that these tryouts were happening or wouldn't be able to afford to enter them or couldn't navigate the bureaucratic process. And that is how we end up with situations like this. Clark added that the fallout from Ray Guns performance has really affected her and other break dancers. She said,

2:01:15how do I go to work now and try to get our sponsorship and get our grant money for breaking programs for a sport that's just been made a mockery of? And how do we go out and represent our country at other world level events when Australia has been made a fool of? This is actually affecting us on a much larger scale than just memes. And there you have it. Other break dancers in this country just left feeling very disheartened and it is. It's disheartening when you see someone who doesn't have the skill or the talent level that you know exists in your industry, go out there and compete at high level events. It's embarrassing. We see this all the time in Australia. People getting put forward to compete or to be in the public eye that just aren't as good as the people around them that maybe don't check the right boxes to be able to fit on that stage. And you would think that someone who understands the culture of break dancing in this country so well to the point they can write a whole PhD thesis on the idea of de-territorializing gender within it would know

2:02:19that maybe they weren't the most talented break dancer in the country and would know that they're not the best representation of talent from Australia. But unfortunately she doesn't think that at all. Did you genuinely think you are the best female breaker in Australia? Well, I think my record speaks to that. I was the top ranked Australian big goal in 2020 and 2022 and 2023. I've been invited to represent at how many world championships, Paris, Korea, you know, so the record is there. That is such an awesome claim from a woman who competed with so few people in the official competitions that they almost didn't have enough to run it at all. They needed 16 women. They only had 15 show up to compete. I mean, yeah, if you hold like a heavyweight boxing title event and invite nobody and then go, I'm the world champion

2:03:20by default. That doesn't mean you're the best boxer in the world. That just means that no one showed up to the competition that you and your mates put on because you didn't tell anyone about it. Allegedly, that's the claim, which I think is completely false, don't you? Anyway, that's what we're going to leave it. I'm Lewis Spears. This is Australian story, a very famous program here in Australia that the ABC puts out that usually features the person that the story is about. It's one whole episode, a sit-down interview about that person's life. And I'm doing a video on this because thanks to hundreds and hundreds of messages, apparently, I'm in it. But you know who is not in this piece about Raygun, her life, her career, and her story? Raygun, she's not in this, which is really weird for Australian story. If you have a look at Australian story pretty much every single Australian story piece

2:05:26they've made for the last few decades has featured the person that it's about. So this is pretty unprecedented for the program to do a story about someone who is not part of it. So I'm assuming she turned it down. You know who is in this though? Me and Steph Broadbridge, the comedian she threatened to sue. So I don't think this was the best move for Raygun who I assume is hiding from the spotlight, which is pretty understandable because I had a look at what Raygun has been up to since the last time I covered her about six months ago. And it's not pretty. Have a look at this. Raygun has taken a tumble. The break dancer was spotted at Sydney's Universal Nightclub showing off some of her iconic tangle-ru inspired moves. It is the crowd chanted her name. She stumbled over her own feet. I'll go let's have a look at the rest of it. Showing up to a nightclub and getting on stage for an impromptu dance, then eating shit when you're already very famous for not knowing how the dance.

2:06:28This is very embarrassing. This is not good. I had to look at the comments underneath this video on every platform. It's been reposted on it. It's got millions of views and everyone is just joking about her suing anyone who was filming that. I mean, this is not a good rep to have as a former Olympian athlete. This as we're going to get into is the tragedy of Raygun. She could have been beloved by the Australian public. We have loved terrible athletes before and so have other countries, but she blew it by suing people who tried to tell jokes about it. And as a result, now and forever when she is spoken about, well, she's just ridiculed even further. She admitted to having too much to drink and shit. She was suffering from anxiety. Can I just say watching that footage back of her stacking it to be honest? If she didn't stand up in an embarrassed way, I don't think I wouldn't notice that she fell over. Do you know what I mean? Like, if you watch before she stands up and kind of goes, oh, I'm embarrassed. I fell over. If she just went with it, you probably just would have thought, oh, this is exactly like what I saw

2:07:32at the Olympics. I'm not going to retread already walked ground, but God, it is so crazy to watch someone dance like a lunatic and then say, no, you're not allowed to laugh at me. I will sue you. Well, since she's been suing people for doing the kangaroo dance, it's like they're drunken and nice. I'm there. My mood. Yeah, getting on stage and he created falling on your face and then trying to snatch the microphone away from the MC just about any divorced 50-year-old white woman in a regional RSL could sue Ray Gunn for stealing this way. Now, I know what you're thinking. Why is Ray Gunn going into hiding? Now, I'm not saying that this is why, but her brother, Brandon Gunn. Brandon Gunn, the brother of Olympic Braggedancer Ray Gunn, has been charged for allegedly dealing with money that was the proceeds of crime. The Australian Securities and Investments Commission alleged he dealt with more than $100,000 in money or property that was reasonable to suspect were the proceeds of crime while the director of more markets are role he has held since 2019.

2:08:33Brandon allegedly dealt with two bank checks which contained four investments, totaling $181,000 by three investors who deposited the funds into convert to cryptocurrency. He opened several bank accounts to receive and transfer deposits on an ongoing basis. Asick alleged that the bank accounts were repeatedly closed due to concerns about scams and Brandon was informed of those concerns. Hang on, hang on, wait. You're telling me that a member of the Gunn family ascended to a position that they maybe probably didn't deserve and then took advantage of other people while in that position and handled money that they didn't deserve and profited from the misery of others in that position that they scammed their way into the first place. She has deleted all of the statements around suing Steph Broadbridge or threatening to sue her, including the apology that she made and the follow up and the explanation. It's all gone like it never even happened. Luckily though, all of that is covered in extensive and hilarious detail in these videos on my channel. What Ray Gunn did shop for is International Women's Day. It's some kind of local council type thing for a business center. I don't know what what an academic break dancing failed Olympian knows about running a business as a woman, but you get who you can get for these types of events. The budget is small. Dr. Rachel Guntz journey as an elite athlete has been nothing short of extraordinary. Yeah, I'd say it was extra out of the ordinary. Her unwavering strength resilience and determination in the face of adversity make her an inspirational figure to all what adversity. She's a university educated PhD, lecturing white lady

2:10:40who despite being aged out of being able to compete in a physical medium somehow was the face of break dancing in Australia. What adversity are you talking about? Mean Instagram comments because she wasn't very good at dancing. Well, let's have a look at what the women in the comments sections think about this because as a man, I'm not going to weigh in on International Women's Day and what is or is not inspiring to women. I'll leave that to the chicks in the comments section here. Top comment wasn't very empowering when you sued another female artist for her work. Was it adversity? She's a white woman on a high salary that can't dance. Only a white woman from the North Shore would think that she suffered any adversity. Man, we really got to raise the bar for what adversity means. Okay, because adversity is not people disliking actions that you talk that most reasonable people would describe as shitty. All right, that's not adversity. That is people going, I don't think you should sue comedians for jokes. It makes you look like a shit

2:11:46person. Check out Professor Chelsea Watego summary on Reagan. She's the one that should speak at your event. She has the extraordinary journey, strength, resilience and determination. She's inspiring not Rachel gun. Well, let's have a look at what that professor thinks about Reagan. We are going to get into the Australian story thing. I'm going on a bit of a sidetrack here, but this is fascinating. I love digging because sometimes you find stuff like this. This is a SPS radio news podcast with a professor after the Olympics, but before the controversy about suing a comedian. In this SPS piece, they took a look at the PhD that Rachel Reagan wrote, which was about overcoming adversity and and and diverse and all this kind of stuff within the breaking scene. And she specifically mentions her own fear that with breaking becoming more popular, it will start to detach from its roots, which come from poor African American and Puerto Rican people in New York, especially. That's where breaking comes from. And Rachel wrote an entire PhD thesis about her fear that those

2:12:52cultural roots will be ripped away from break dancing right before she as a privileged, wealthy, educated white woman became the face of break dancing in Australia voluntarily. A cultural studies scholar in the area of break dancing, I presumed that she would have a sophisticated understanding of break dance. It's history, it's political origins, it's function, but I mean that journal article that she wrote started with all the media requests she got when break dancing made on the Olympics stage. How was that the starting place for this story? Yeah, look, I think what you're going to see is a lot of reframing being done around the controversy with Reagan, reframing it from why is this person in the Olympics at all to, oh my god, people hated to see a woman on the world stage. The world, I think, was actually ready to celebrate

2:13:55Reagan if she embraced the joke. People weren't necessarily angry at her for not being good at break dancing. They became angry at her because she wasn't able to agree that she didn't have the correct skill level to be on the Olympics. And that's fine. No one was going to hate her for that. What people decided left a bad taste in their mouth was her insisting that she's actually a very highly skilled break dancer and then suing a female artist for telling a few jokes about that. That's what happened. It was, it was actions that turned the public against her not sexism. And this professor, Watego, goes on to point that out. In fact, if any group or type of person was left out in the rain here, it certainly wasn't the university educated white woman with a PhD. It is people with less opportunities, especially financially, from culturally diverse backgrounds that are maybe more marginalized. She's not the victim here. If anybody is, it's them. Let's believe that a white woman winning is, is advantageous for us all. And the Arnie is, she didn't

2:14:58win anything. She didn't even score a point. But this is a moment of progress for women. Only a white woman can pop up and cop such a fantasy and get such national buying to this story. There you go. I couldn't have said it better myself. This type of thing always gets morphed and transfigured into a discussion around sexism. But only if the woman who's supposedly a victim of sexism is a privileged white woman because that's generally the target demographic of mainstream media because those are the people that advertisers are trying to get because privileged white older women control the spending of household incomes. So that's who the mainstream media is trying to serve everything too. And that's how you get from a person being generally unlikable and suing a very much lesser known, less wealthy artist for telling a joke about them and twisting that into Oh, they didn't like it because she was a chick. No, that's not true. And the last thing that she's

And what's hilarious about that is my good friend, Anthony Skinner, the comedian who was hosting Steph Broadbridge's show that received the legal letter and had to cancel the show. He was the one that bought it and it ended up in Steph's hands. Oh, we love a bit of trolling, don't we? Does this law suit been the best promotion? I'm going to be able to patch? Like, sorry, but yeah, it's been so good. Now that we're up to speed, let's have a look at this Australian story piece that is missing the Australian that it's about. I just found it interesting. Really for really against it was the extremes and the huge emotions. I think is what made me feel like it should be a musical. If you're not Australian Australian story is a very famous program and it always features the person that it's about and it almost always is a puff piece, a very positive

2:17:06thing telling the person's story with them. It's essentially a giant advertisement for them. But because Reagan has declined to be part of this, it looks like the entire thing is about why Australia turned their back on her and it's now more about Steph Broadbridge and her musical than it is about Reagan, which is great for Steph, but not for Reagan. We've got a uni professor who doesn't look like a breaker who's wearing a green and gold track suit that looks like it's straight out of those. It just doesn't quite stack up to some of those other stories. We love cool runnings, Eddie the Eagle, Eric the Eel, because they're hard luck stories. But in this case, it's not a straight underdog. It's just a confusing mess and it's hard to make sense of. That's perfectly put. The only way that you could find Reagan likable is if she was able to laugh at herself because

2:18:06she doesn't have that underprivileged background. She doesn't come from a country that was so impoverished. They didn't have pools at all. She didn't win because everybody else fell over and it was funny. You know what I mean? She just did really poorly, but in a really funny way, which could have worked so well in her favor if she was able to get a little bit silly with it. But because she had such a giant ego and dare I see a little bit analysis is a marauder. She just couldn't take the piss out of herself. And that's one thing that Australia culturally cannot abide by. There's a shame. One musical is a hard halt musical. There's a shiipel call, be musical. So yeah, of course, there should be a Reagan one. Hey, hey, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, that's silhouette. That's copyrighted. That's silhouette. ABC, you're going to get sued. You better get that out of your story. That's not on me. But then Rachel Gunn was basically threatening to shut this musical down.

2:19:07I think at that point, a lot of people lost sympathy for Rachel Gunn. A lot of the people who'd been right in there with her the whole time started thinking this is getting a bit unfair. Absolutely. That's the you can actually pinpoint the second she blew it. And it's right when after the Olympics, she refused to do any interviews and she couldn't laugh along with other people. Okay. There was a pivotal point in her life where she had two paths to walk down and she almost went down the correct one, right? Because the Olympics happened. Everyone made fun of it was super, super viral, probably very, very overwhelming for her. She kind of pulled back a little bit. But then remember, she started break dancing at the Olympics with all of the other Australian Olympians and having fun and laughing and everyone was celebrating her. A rapturous reception from her Australian teammates as they headed to the ceremony. A lot of us were hoping that she would sit down and do that. That right there is the moment where she could have just lived the most

2:20:12amazing, well-liked life and become a cultural Australian icon. All she had to do was continue being the daggy white lady who had a crack and had a go. We wanted to like her. I mean, for Fuxack, even the prime minister of Australia stood up in front of the country and said, lever alone, she's trying very high gun had a crack. That is in the Australian tradition of people having a go. But instead of rolling with the punches, so to say, having allowed for herself joining in and I don't know, maybe making a few TikToks, she instead retreated from the spotlight, hid from journalists and refused all interviews. Such a misstep. Imagine if she just jumped on TikTok and started doing dance battle replies to people talking shit. She would have 10 million followers today. She'd be breaking in millions of dollars in brand deals. She would be the face of insurance ads. She would be crushing it. Not me more. A lot of us were hoping that she would sit down and do an interview at that point to perhaps take some of the heat out of it or at least address some of the

2:21:16questions that have been asked about it. But you didn't. And it left a lot of room for a lot of speculation, false words and a lot of highly, highly defamatory, nasty, unfounded allegations. Turns out she may have kind of cheated in a sense to get herself there at the Olympic. Yeah, I certainly don't think that she cheated her way into the Olympics. I've said this and I've talked about that very much in depth in this video. However, that isn't to say that it wasn't entirely above board and there wasn't anything shady happening. You can watch that to go into that. But that's not what this video is about. This video is about finding out where I mentioned in this television program, we're almost two thirds of the way through and I haven't popped up once. Where's me? I wasn't saying she got everything because she's rich. I'm saying there's loopholes that exist in art culture and sport culture and everybody's doing it. She's just playing the game that we're

2:22:19all playing, but we're calling her out in nobody else. And I thought that was wrong. Yes, Steph nails it here, especially in Australia. There are just so many shady practices around arts, grants and opportunities and TV spots and festival spots and cultural opportunities and everything like that in Australia. And it just comes down to who do you know and how well connected are you and how well do you tick certain boxes. A lot of that goes on, especially in Australia. And a lot of that is because we don't have the population to support a real entertainment industry. So we're doing our best impression of one, but hardly anyone is making any money. So talent and ability doesn't really need to rise to the top because when it does, it's not profitable anyway. So you might as well give your mate a job like that's our country. And that's why America, for the most part, very talented or commercially viable acts usually rise to the top.

2:23:22They have their own downsides. For example, if you don't make it in comedy, you end up schizophrenic on the streets of LA throwing your poet people. But you know, that's the price you pay for getting comedians like Dave Chappelle, I guess we don't have any failed comedians doing heroin on the street. We don't have a suburb full of homeless people doing heroin on spoons in the street and the fenty fold. But we haven't had a good comedian since Jim Jeffries. So I don't know what's the cost benefit analysis on that one. Also, I mean, I'm the next good one since Jim. I'm the next good one. It was a cease and desist. It said I'd had breached trademark something. I don't know. I mean, I can give it to you. Man, I just am baffled by the continuing missteps that Reagan is making when it comes to her public profile. She should have said yes to doing this Australian story thing. They've never really done a mean one, right? They've tried to show every single subject of their

2:24:24stories in a very positive light. But because she turned it down, all they have to work with is how she bullied a less successful, smaller female artist using lawyers. This makes her look really shitty. And I don't know. I just, I'm so confused by what she's trying to do. I don't know if she's trying to disappear. Her Instagram bio says she's not retired and she's made that very clear. So it seems like at some point she wants to make some kind of comeback here. Australian story would have been the perfect avenue to present her side of the story. Make up for a few mistakes that she made and try and gain some sympathy from the Australian public. But instead, I mean, nobody watches the ABC except for your parents and their parents. But now I guess even the boomers have turned against Reagan. There's an exception for works of parity. And this was clearly going to be a parody. So I don't think she needed to be scared of that. But she was happy to change the name from Reagan,

2:25:27the musical to breaking the musical. I agreed not to use her name and not to use the silhouette and not to use the dance in the sequence that it was performed at the Olympics. Now I'm certainly not going to criticize what Steph's done because everyone makes their own choices and it is so stressful getting threats of being sued and and and looming legal action. I've been sent many a season to assist some that you don't know about because often that's the nature of a season to assist. And let me tell you, it's not fun. But I don't know, she was completely legally safe and able to do Reagan, the musical, called Reagan, the musical. She was covered by parity law. She probably should have should have removed the silhouette because that is a trademark logo. But I don't know, agreeing to change the name and all this kind of stuff, that feels unnecessary. And it seems like they came to some kind of legal agreement between each

2:26:27party. And I don't know if Steph is limited speech wise and what she can and can't say because of that agreement. But it just feels really lucky, really yucky to see another artist say, I agreed to not do this and I agreed to not do that in my art, even though they are legally able to do so. That's why this whole thing leaves such a bad taste in my mouth because it's fucking bullying. But again, absolutely no hate towards Steph who probably just wanted this to be over with as soon as possible so she could focus on her show without the fear of her losing tens of thousands of dollars. So you know, it wouldn't have been well, probably not the choice I would have made, but I'm reckless. But saying that she felt dirty because other people made money out of her uniform, she didn't design the uniform and the men also wore it. It's not hers. So she's got no claim to it. I think that she maybe saw this as a way of like, oh, someone else is benefiting from me and my name. Of course, you can want to protect that. I mean, yeah, this woman says it perfectly what it's

That's not her fault at all. I don't get angry at African nations because they're bad at swimming. They don't have pools, brother. We crush it in the pool because we are good by sea. If the next Olympics introduced an underage shoe manufacturing event, I don't think an Australian athlete would place at all. In fact, I think the battle for first would be between China and Vietnam. If Reagan wanted to make money out of this, she could have. Also, she already did. She was the face of a financial services company for a little bit running competitions. She still today, right now, could jump on TikTok and have a laugh about herself. She could probably get a bunch of brand deals. If she jumped on the bandwagon with everybody else, she would have been the most followed Olympic athlete of all time. She blew it. She wasted her own opportunity and now is frustrated and angry at herself. But instead of directing that energy inwards to do better, she's pointing it outwards at artists. This is not about money. This is about her blowing her own opportunity and fucking up her shot, not at the Olympics because who cares she didn't do well at the Olympics? What

This, I don't think this has anything to do with her being a woman. I do think I will say it is a lot more difficult to be a woman online. It is a lot more difficult to be a female comedian online. It is a lot more difficult to be a female just about anything in the public arena than it is for a man because the

I feel like the reason she lost her job was not because of any controversy, not because of any budget cuts, but because one person looked at what her job title was and when, why are we paying for that? Dr. Gunn was enrolled as an undergraduate and stayed there to study and work for 20 years, her research focused on the intersection of gender and break dancing. Yeah, that's what we really need. That's what my taxpayer money should be spent on is like, oh, fellas, is it misogynistic for women to be break dancing or nah? She was part of McCory's performance and expertise research center. Well, maybe she should have done less researching and more break dancing. What was she fucking googling? Obviously not how to dance well.

The latest rounds of layoffs have prompted accusations of sexism and racism by staff. Well, I think there'd be an argument to be made that firing all of the minorities in your business is actually quite progressive because that must mean that they were earning more than

And this Netflix documentary, I don't think is going to present the truth of how it all went down because this Netflix documentary that Ray Gunn is a part of is produced by Ray Gunn's management company. He's not even a basketball player. He's an American football player. I don't know. All right, I don't know anything about your weird American sports. All I know is about our real sporting heroes like the break dancer Ray Gunn. Now, there really isn't too much about the documentary available online because again, it's sandwiched between two other documentaries that are about much more interesting

So it looks like this whole thing is going to be a puff piece unless the producers of the Netflix documentary have pulled a fast one on Ray Gunn

And actually she was the victim of sexism and and and ageism. And she was just trying to have a laugh and people hated her for it. And it's going to completely gloss over the fact that this woman definitely was taking herself seriously, refused to have a laugh at herself, got upset at anyone talking about her in a light manner, let alone a disrespectful one. I think that anyone who looked into the female break dancing division and the caliber of competition up against Reagan, I don't think they walked

I assume for doing this documentary because as we know since all of this has happened, she actually lost her job at the university. She was teaching at she, well, she voluntarily chose to take a redundancy or whatever terminology they decided to give it. She no longer works there. And I can't imagine that would be a great loss to

The reason why I'm critical of this without knowing anything about it is that yeah, it's made by her management. She's probably got a nice little paycheck from it. And it's only 30 minutes and it's done by Netflix and it seems to be sandwiched between two other documentaries that seem to be pretty positive about the subjects, which again, there's nothing wrong with a positive documentary. But when they're marketing it as addressing the controversy around her getting in and the fallout from it, I just don't think that it's going to be addressed with any sort of honesty, especially because I had a look at Steph Broadbridge's Instagram. 3:02:17wasn't even approached at all by this documentary. This is what she had to say. No, this is not me. I was not involved in a tell all Netflix documentary produced by her management. And it would be so weird if I was. So yeah, I don't know. I don't think that you can do an honest documentary about Reagan without talking to Steph Broadbridge, who this is all centered around. Like the entire negative reaction hit a flashpoint because of Reagan deciding to sue an independent comedian for telling jokes about her. That's where the controversy really is. And that's where the negative perception about Reagan really started to kick off and settle in people's minds. It wasn't just her dancing terribly. Like people were laughing at her. And I'm sure people were mean and did go too far in in probably several ways. But the real actual solidifying of people's opinion about Reagan

3:03:18was when she decided to sue a comedian. So to do a documentary and not talk to the girl who was the victim of law legal threats and defamation lawsuit threats is just ridiculous and dishonest, to be honest, and also lazy. Like why would you want to do a documentary about this woman and not cover properly the main controversy to do with her and her public perception? I find it very funny that the Netflix documentary is called Reagan Breaking Badly where Steph Broadbridge's show was called Breaking the Musical and the cover photo of the Netflix documentary is the Reagan pose, which is what Steph Broadbridge was threatened to be sued over that trademarked pose. I just think it's so hilarious that the Netflix documentary itself is essentially ripping off the branding of the parody musical while not addressing it at all seemingly and certainly not interviewing her.

3:04:21Maybe they do address it. Maybe they don't. I haven't been approached either, which again, I think is a little bit strange if you were trying to do a tell all documentary. I feel like I'm kind of involved in this whole thing as well. I don't know. I just think it's um, I have very low hopes for this project, but I will be reviewing it when it comes out. I believe Ray Guns one comes out, September 1st, which is a couple weeks into the future. So when that comes out, I will be doing a review. But before that, let's have a look at the trailer for the first untold episode. So we get an idea of the vibe. This is a episode one, the testimony of Vince Young. This trailer came out. She's episode two. So one would think that her trailer is coming out very soon. Maybe I'll do a video when that comes out and then another one when the serial, when the actual episode drops. But let's have a look. What's the tone going to be? I kind of imagine it's going to be too um, uh, investigatory. I think it's a bit of a puff piece, but I could be wrong. Vince Young be special.

I'm just so suspicious of her management being involved in this thing because if I'm her manager, I'm being very touchy and specific and in control of the narrative here because that's my client and my client is my money. All right. If you fuck up my money, I don't get to take a bunch of hauls on a yacht and be unfaithful to my wife. So I take this project very seriously. Everything I went through, the things that I never thought would happen to me in my life. It was nothing I can control. My anger and my frustration had the best of me. Yeah. So I guess it's just talking to people about their careers and how they went,

3:06:25but who knows if it's going to be at all critical or accurate or just a puff piece for Reagan. Yeah. I don't know. I just, I just feel like personally doing an entire documentary about Reagan or a film they're calling it a sports film and not interviewing the comedians that were threatened to be sued and the venues that were threatened to be sued and even the the the the talking about the charities that missed out on money that they would have otherwise gotten. I think it's just a little bit dishonest and lazy and not reflective of reality. So here's my promise to you, dear viewer. I went to my therapist panicked. She was like, what's the worst that could happen? The whole world could laugh at me. So do you think that's reasonable? Obviously, her therapist had never seen Reagan dance. I would be getting a new one after that. Do you really think that's reasonable? Also, I feel like Reagan going to her therapist and saying, yeah, I'm going to the Olympics. I think everyone's going to laugh at me. That's not an Olympian. You know what I mean? Like an Olympian is like, I'm the best in the world at what I do. I'm going to crush the competition. An Olympian isn't, oh no, I made it into the Olympics. Everyone's going to find out I'm a fraud. Am I wrong?

3:08:35I was like, oh no. Before we go further into the trailer, I just want to list a few things that I want to see in a comprehensive Reagan documentary because I had a look at some of the other videos that I made about this whole saga. I've been following it quite closely and I've looked at a few videos that other break dancing experts have made. And I've come up with a list of things that I would need to see in a documentary about Reagan for it to be an honest representation of reality. Because as we know, as I covered in my previous video, this documentary is being produced with the help of Reagan's management. So I don't think this is an unbiased look at what happened at all. I think this is a puff piece designed to make her look like a victim when we know she is anything but here's my list. This is what I need from a good Reagan documentary. One, I want to know how much did she train after she got selected for the Olympics? Two, I want to know why was she selected? As we know, she was only up against around 15 other women in the preliminary selection

3:09:42process. Why were there only 15 women that actually showed up for the Olympic trials? And after she won it, why, why didn't the rest of the governing body around the Olympic break dancing event think to themselves? Is a 36 year old white woman the best person to send to represent the country of Australia? Why didn't she ask that question? Three, I would like to know why with her being an academic, someone with a PhD in literally making break dancing more accessible to women. Why did she not find issue with how little people she competed against and why didn't she actually raise the issue to the judging body? Like, hey, I'm not the best break dancer in the country. I'm going to embarrass myself here. Why didn't she raise that? And you know, I guess why didn't she after becoming super famous? Share that publicity and shine a light on the big girl scene in Australia.

3:10:46Breakups, breakups. There was this frenzy. It was this growing monster. Four, I want to hear from Steph Broadbridge, the comedian that Reagan threatened to sue for parodying her with a fucking musical. I also want to hear from the other comedians that were sent legal threats and the venues that were sent legal threats, as well as I want to hear from the people representing the women's charity that was having money raised for it that ended up losing that money due to these legal threats. I want to know about all of this because that is integral to the story and that really is why the public turned on Reagan. The public didn't turn on Reagan because she was bad at dancing. People laughed at her. People made fun of her, but no one actually disliked her viscerally until she made the decision to sue someone for telling jokes about her. And finally, I want to know more about her losing her job at university after the saga. What's up with that? Let's continue watching and see if any of this is covered at all,

3:11:47or if this is just some stupid puff paste designed to make this woman look like an oppressed hero instead of the honest truth, which is someone who appears to be incredibly narcissistic and completely unable to have a laugh at themselves. You're off points. How did this person go to the Olympic? I know I'm a dokey white woman who's an academic and I'm a big girl. I know I'm a dokey white girl academic and I'm a big girl. It's like again, no acknowledgement of your character here. Like that is the issue that people have ultimately is not that she did some silly dances at the Olympics. People, like I've said a million times, actively wanted to like Reagan. We wanted to support her in an ironic way. People were making their own costumes and their own merch and their own stickers and everything like that. And she could have capitalized on that ironic love of her attempt at break dancing well. People, I mean, this footage of her at the Olympic village doing the dance with other Olympians and that went viral and people were saying,

3:12:51oh, it's so cool to see her acknowledging and making fun of her attempt. It's so cool that she's in on the joke. But then she turned and tried to control the narrative and say, actually, I'm very good. And if you laugh at me, I'll sue you. This is her right after the abysmal performance and all of the hate she was getting being celebrated in public by people who barely know her, having a laugh and she's bust in a few moves and they're okay. They're not Olympic level, obviously, but this is what was actually happening after her Olympic performance. There was an initial burst of viral confusion and people laughing with and at her. But after that, when she embraced it like this, people were like, oh, she's a good sport. We like her. So this attempt to reframe what was happening at the time as some sort of evil hate campaign is not true. The hate didn't stem from her performance. It stemmed from her reaction to not being celebrated by from her performance. Like that's what people initially took Umbridge with was her reaction to

3:13:56not being elevated as some incredibly amazing athlete, which she just objectively isn't. And that's okay. Not everybody is. Most people aren't. And I would say that most people in the Olympics are and maybe that's where the confusion kind of stem from. But whatever, we don't have any breakdances in Australia. You're not going to be amazing. We're a very small country. That's why we wanted to like you for the attempt. So anyway, looking very dishonest so far, let's keep going. I'm a big old. Did you ever associate Olympian and Rachel Grotto? Yes. Sorry, not the wrong reaction. I was furious. She was not prepared. She's five and baby. She's a legend. Some of the memes were funny. Let the time started to change. So Rachel Gunn cheated her way into the Olympics and then had her husband be a judge. That conspiracy theory definitely was happening at the time. People are assuming that her husband was a judge on the committee that decided that she should win. That's not true. However,

3:14:58there was a bunch of very suspicious stuff with the selection that led to her being chosen. That is real and has been covered in my previous videos. You should have a look on the channel. But yeah, her husband was absolutely not a judge. He was however her coach and perhaps he shouldn't have been because she didn't seem to train properly before the event. And instead, there's a lot of interviews talking about getting selected for the Olympics, trying to boost her profile and get as many followers as possible to get as much attention as possible because I think she's a bit of a narcissist. And because people didn't receive her performance with awe and surprise and love, that's why she turned on people for laughing at her like Steph Broadbridge and other comedians and venues, which is ultimately the real reason why people decided they did not like her not because they thought she cheated her way into the Olympics. That was just conspiracy cooker nonsense. And then have her husband be a judge. What?

3:15:58Now, and it just kept getting more crazy. What surely this is the part where they introduce Steph Broadbridge and the whole suing a comedian for making fun of her thing, which is the meat and potatoes of the Reagan saga, in my view, at least. This is where they're going to bring that up, right? And it just kept getting more crazy. What's going on? I can't just be a meme. Am I Rachel or Reagan? That's it. Okay. Well, I can't believe that they're going to ignore the whole reason why she's just generally disliked. Am I crazy? That's wild. Steph Broadbridge, as we know, has come out and confirmed that she is not in this documentary. This is what she said on her Instagram. No, this isn't me. I was not involved in a tell all Netflix documentary produced by her management. And it would be so weird if I was. She's not in it at all. She was not asked about it, which I assume means Reagan was not asked about it. And it's not covered at all in the Netflix documentary.

3:17:03I wasn't asked about it. I just think it's so confusing and strange to ignore this. Or at least, I used to think it was confusing until I realized that her management has a hand in the production of this documentary and is therefore trying to shape the narrative. And probably this is my prediction for this documentary. I will do a full review after it comes out September one, returned to the channel, like and subscribe. And I will do it. This is how it's going to go. It's going to be like, oh, I tried my best and I'm a woman and I'm an unrepresented demographic in break dancing. Anyway, so there's a small talent pool and the backlash that I got was unwarranted and sexist and crazy. And it was all because I tried my very best and people hate to see people try and they love to punch people when they're down. And it's going to completely gloss over the fact of the matter, which is people laughed at her and then laughed with her. And then she got really upset that she

3:18:07wasn't celebrated and taken seriously. So she decided to take that resentment out on the supposedly easiest target she could find, which was a smaller independent female comedian, making a musical about her that wasn't even mean or derogatory. It was just a bit of fun. So she attempted or threatened to sue them. And then it turned into a global controversy because people hate people that can't laugh at themselves. And we certainly hate people that want to restrict others' ability to make fun of a public figure. Like you're an Olympian. People are going to have comments on your performance, especially in a sport that is not objective like running or weightlifting where the fastest runner or the strongest weightlifter wins. It's a, you know, it's a subjective platform dance, diving, gymnastics. These are subjective things. So of course, people are going to

3:19:07have opinions on you. And especially if you're not very good. And especially if you're dancing in a dorky silly way, like what you did was inherently funny. And now you're angry at people for laughing at you. And now you're trying to paint yourself as a victim and completely just gloss over the fact that you turned yourself into a villain. If you have a look at Reagan's Instagram, she is deleted every single video that she made addressing the controversy around the legal threats. She actually apologized. Those videos are nowhere to be seen. You can still find them on steps profile. Right. But on Ray Guns, they're deleted. She's trying to like sweep that under the rug and represent her image as some sort of, I don't know, oppressed poor woman who did nothing wrong, except for try her best and gotten mocked. And that's just not what happened at all. And I think people see through this having a look at some of the comments here. I mean, this video has gotten like only 79,000 views two days ago, which is pretty poor for a Netflix trailer.

3:20:12Top comment Netflix will pick up anything except a second season of your favorite show. How about a documentary about the break dancing scene about people who we would really actually like to learn about? You can just tell by how her and her family are acting in this that they are really trying to cash out yet. This is like a obvious thing about Reagan. She's trying to get as much attention and as much money out of this abysmal performance as she possibly can. And she's trying to control the narrative and make sure that that attention is only positive. And it's just transparent. It's, it's just bullshit. Here's a comment from an actual Australian. As an Aussie, it's genuinely disgusting that you're giving her more money and attention. We aren't even ashamed of her because she was a terrible break dancer. Where ashamed because she could not even acknowledge or joke about it until she had dug her grave by reacting negatively to everyone else joking about it. That's the story. That's what the documentary should be about. It should be about how this woman had a chance at being a beloved cultural symbol of Australians having a go and

3:21:19then having a laugh. But instead, she got in her head and became too egotistic to accept the reality. So instead tried to punish people for making fun of her. That's what the documentary should be. And I think that's why if you remember, I made a video a few like last year, maybe when a documentary by ABC in Australia came out about Reagan, Australian story. This is a very famous program in Australia. If you're outside of Australia, you won't know it, but it's called Australian story. And it happens, you know, once a month, ABC will pick a very famous influential Australian and interview them about their entire life and their career and other people in their orbit and present their story to the country. It's a great show. It's really, really good. An Australian story wanted to do one about Reagan, but she declined. And I think I know why. It's because Australian story wanted to tell the full story and they interviewed Steph Broadbridge and

3:22:23other breakdances who were upset about Reagan getting into the Olympics. So Reagan didn't turn up. But instead of canceling the Australian story, they just did it without her. There's a Shane Warren musical as a Harold Holt musical. There's a Shipel Corby musical. So yeah, of course, there should be a Reagan one. And I was mentioned by Australian story as well. So I just think this is very ironic that the Netflix one doesn't reach out to Steph or seemingly at least even cover it. Maybe they do in the actual documentary, but it's not mentioned in the trailer. And I feel like there's a very important part of the story. So if it's not in the trailer, it makes me think that it's not there at all. And Steph wasn't approached for it. So I guess maybe it'll be glossed over and swept under the rug in seven seconds or something. That's my prediction. But yeah, that's my thoughts. I don't think you can do a Reagan documentary without talking about Reagan, the musical and the legal threats and the entire debacle surrounding that. I mean, I have been interviewed multiple times by news outlets about that. I even recorded like

3:23:27an hour long interview with a documentary crew that we're trying to put together a documentary about Reagan. I don't know if that project is materializing, but the last thing I heard and I think maybe I'm violating my NBA here was that they were approaching Reagan and really, really trying to talk to her, but she was just super cagey and worried about who they were talking to. And yeah, I think she just doesn't want to acknowledge the real reason why she had such a abysmal fall from grace. And it's not because of her lackluster performance at the Olympics. That was the that was an opportunity to be beloved. The real reason why people don't like her is because of who she actually is, the decisions that she made, the actions that she took and the thoughts that she has about herself and about others. We don't like Reagan because she's not a likable person. That's a lot worse than just being shit at break dancing. So I see why she doesn't want to deal with that because that's hard, but that's the truth.

3:24:33So I'm looking forward to this documentary, man. I'm very excited for it. There's a few news articles that have come out with some more information. Let's have a look at that. False rumors quickly swirled alleging Reagan cheated her way into the Olympics with speculation she was selected because her husband Samuel Free was a judge. This is false. I bet there would have been an incredibly talented 19 year old brown girl that we could have sent instead, but she didn't have the economic opportunity to be able to audition and Reagan took a spot and for someone who has written a PhD about minorities and their underrepresentation in break dancing, you would think that Rachel gun would be a bit more sensitive to that. But covering this in an honest and in depth way would just make Reagan look like a very unlikable person and considering the fact that she's turned down every other documentary I've heard of being recorded as well as
