With his written and directed by Willis Cooper and the speaker's Ernest Chappell. Quiet Please for today is called Good Goats. I never did anything wrong in my life. That's why I was told to step on the chest to murder me. I'm just standing there minding my own business and I choose to be full of this cannon and he points it out man, it goes full when I say out, chin on lion there. And he walks away with our lake street towards Michigan Avenue. Yeah, right there on the corner of Lake Inwabai, to the quarter after one in the morning, out, she said, and I just laid there. After a while I got up and I walked away, I was all mixed up. I guess I didn't realize I was dead because I walked over the Randolph street. I started up the elevated steps, but something stopped me, something like a rope, or something across from bottom of the stair steps when I couldn't get up. So I looked around the sea what it was and there was nothing.
There was a voice, speaking kind in my ear. You can't go out there, that's right. That's what the voice said. There wasn't anybody there. I looked. Well, right, I said to myself, there's more and more, we just can't catch. So I walked over to state street and I started down the subway stairs. You know what? I couldn't go down there either. There was just same voice, whispering, here. You can't go down there. Well, I really said, where am I going to go? I didn't hear any answer to that. So I put one foot out of the other and you know what I did? I walked. And for the first time in my life, for the first time. I feet, the teacher. So there's one consolation I said, being a ghost, your feet, Paul. Well, I was the woman, see? I walked and I walked and I walked and pretty soon, so five o'clock in the morning, nine o'clock in the morning, lobe and square.
And I said to myself, why, choose to let your eyes someplace don't eat. And I am in choose to just have to. Oh, see, I was a pretty new and experienced ghost then. Gosh, you slide a no-dite. When they had to walk all the way out to Logan Square, I could have flew her, whatever it is I should. But I've learned how to tell you about it. Well, like I said, now I am in choose to just house. Well, you didn't know choose to do it, did you? He was laying there, sounds asleep on the bed, pretty good looking fella and the kind that way. He was laying there, snoring at his hand hanging over the edge of the bed. And I never thought I'd just one overnight just hold his hand the mic's dead. Hey, sister. Sister. Hey, sister. Sister, wake up.
Who's that? Wake up, sister, it's me. Oh, well, gee, wish sisters, but not the murder of God yet, that's here to the life of them. Somebody had called in my hand. It was me, a cold hand. It was me, I told you. Who's that? It's me, sister. That's a hand, it's God. God, God, God. You awake now? You can't wait for me. You did. Yeah, I know, I didn't. Meant to wake up so violent, should I? I'm asleep, Bob. I'm dreaming. Oh, I'm a shoot. I'm sorry. I'm a beautiful thing. Why did I knock a lot? Hey. Why did you knock me off? That really you guys sure? Did you come to brought me? Oh, not specially. I was just wondering why did you shoot me? I'm going to turn on the light. There ain't nobody here.
I had a nightmare. There. You see a chump? There ain't nobody here. I'm here. It's a nightmare. Guys, I hear you. Sure. What do you want? I told you. Why did you kill me? Will you go away by that? Well, it was on a kind of aid. Aid? Yeah, aid. Will you go in now and leave me? Shuster. Shuster is your intention towards aid. The honorable. Oh, why? Why sure, guys? Will you go away now? Move over, Shuster. I want to do a little thinking. Well, Shuster, you put his head underneath the covers and he shivled all up in the knot and I saw him. He kept shivering and singing up dead and so pretty soon I went to sleep. And when I woke up,
Shuster was gone. So I got to think in about aid. See, he was aid that was Jewish. I sure did like aid. Aid always wore hair in a pompe d'or. Hair was so black and my eyebrows was so cute. I wish you always smelled some ice. I see aid. Now a solid aid that liked me pretty much too. Whenever I had a couple of bucks used to take aid out to the tree and on. A band she was about three four inches tall and made a wee band sole right together. That's where Shuster ran into set the tree and on. She was, I never thought aid had fall for Shuster. Funny that you're always the last one to find out I thought she'd like me. And every minute a chance to be jealous of Shuster. I sure did like aid out. I was thinking about the time Shuster drove us out to the forest to preserve aid for me.
The three of us had a picnic waiting since she made potato salad and we had a swell time. Then I remember I didn't notice it then she kept sitting next to Shuster all the time. Man, I thought playing there on Shuster's bed. I'm too late. And the aid alike Shuster. We all like and do this. Try to help him out. Shuster, now I could do without him but, but he, uh, I want her to be happy. And thinking about it all of a sudden I mean aid is apartment and Shuster's there with her and aid is crying a little bit. It sure is too bad aid. He was a nice little fella. I can hardly believe he said Shuster. Well, he is. I'll see you out here. What did you say? I didn't say nothing. I thought she did. Poor little fella.
They go so suddenly. That's too bad. She was just a U-Dunner. I was so fond of him. I know you was Ada. Now I'm all alone in the world. Oh no, you ain't Ada. I'm here. Sure, Ada. He's here. Oh, it's Shuster. I don't love him. Put your head on my shoulder, Ada Honey, and leave us week together. Oh, it's Shuster. And so she put her head on the Shuster's shoulder. She was aided and weep. He kissed her. And so I come away after all how much can you take. Oh. Well, so it looks like it's on the upper nothing besides what could I do? I am dead. So I said on a bench and they can park and I think when he done concrete benches used to feel cold when I said on them, but now they don't feel cold anymore.
I guess because I'm a coach. Well, I figure I have to talk to Shuster again. What? Well, I figure I have to help him out, help Ada, what I mean. I don't want Ada to go around being unhappy. And so if her and Shuster is going to get married, well, at least I can do is give my hand. I know Shuster ain't got a quarter and there's ways that I and my position can help see. Well, I don't know how I know that, but it's true. I go and do pretty nearly anything if he works it right. So I wait till night and I start to walk out to Logan Square. And then I remember I don't have to walk and Zing, I am in Shuster's room. Shuster is sitting there thinking when I say Shuster, hey, Shuster, he don't give me a tumble, but I can see his eyes moving, looking around the room. Hey, Shuster, I say again. I want to talk to you. And you know what he's done?
He jumped out the window. Well, I'm so surprised I can't even follow him up the window. You know what? That Shuster, he was the hardest guy to hold I ever seen. And look, I didn't want to do nothing. All I wanted to do was help Ada. Cheer what if he does shoot me? That's over. I've got to help Ada. Heck, I love Ada, Zing. Couple of nights later, I see him getting his car. I run my cutting alongside him and I figure this is fine. We're all alone in the car. And then I begin to worry. If I say something while we're driving, you'll probably wreck the car. So I wait till we're stopped by the light at the mercy of Lincoln Park. We're standing still. What can happen? So I put my hand on top of his on the gear shift and I say, hey, Shuster, then crash jingle bounce, he takes his foot off in the clutch and we're through a higher and fencing the car is upside down on Shuster, he's got a screen bank. So I go, she is, I said, I'm a heck of a ghost,
but he's laying there and I think this is a good time to talk to him before the ambulance comes. He can't move, but he crosses me up. He thinks, and while he's laid up for the tackle all bandaged up Ada comes, he sees him and the way she puts her arms around the moon, kisses him, I said, this is no place for me. So I come away again, I couldn't take it. But I don't mean it at worst. I should talk to him and see what I can do for Ada and him. So after while he's well and I see him and he never once in a while and they never he treated her like, he pushed the way out, we started treated her and she ended up here. Well, one night Shuster goes into a movie. I'd saw the movie before you got a lot of time on your hands when there goes, usually you can get the movie straight.
I followed him inside and finally was running the sign on the screen and said, next week, howo triumph, finally no proposed to him, and I say, Shuster, she, where's he, one up like a balloon, people with hollering and he was hollering and the air she was coming to cops and they'd drug him away. You know what the upshuttered that was? He kept hollering to the cops as he was haunted and they thought he was touched in the head and they put him in a wagon. They took him off the psychopathic for observation. Man, I sure made a mess out of things, didn't I? And all I'm trying to do is be a good guy, a good ghost timing. So come even out the psychopathic I go. Well I'm one of the place and I hunt high and low for a shoot but the litz of Opua Park. Then I hear a kind of gargle, I think it's familiar and I go through a little door and hold, boy, there he is. You know straight jacket.
Well for pretty sake, Shuster I said. Look, Shuster, stop it, I ain't gonna hurt you. There is, there isn't, there isn't, there isn't, there isn't. Don't you bust something. Now listen Shuster, listen to me, I ain't mad. No, she's dry, mad at all. I want to kill you. What? To kill you. Kill you. No, Shuster, all I want to do is help you. No, Shuster, somebody'll hear you. Look, I'm only allowed to kill one person, see Shuster? You ain't allowed to kill the color that killed you, see? I can only knock off one fella and he has to be a bad fella. I know you're kind of bad but you can't be all bad, Shuster, I'll say there wasn't love you. Does Ada love you? And do you love her? That's what I thought.
Don't you want to believe me? Listen, I said I wasn't coming kill you, I just want to help you. Yeah. I go, can do lots of things, Shuster. You need money, Shuster? You're broke? Yeah. Well, you can't marry Ada without money. Yeah. I'll get you the money. I'm not kidding, only when you promise to marry Ada as soon as you get the money. Well, I said okay then, and I reached those who impatted them on the forehead. And he'd keep them stuff up and again come out of his mouth. So I had to start all over again. I stuffed the thing back in his puts and all he can say is her go-ah-go, and I'd lay it all out to him again. He was found and determined that it was when the knock him off. He must have had a guilty conscience or something. Trudist was daylight, while my father saw him at the red dirt's look.
I kept saying it's me, I ain't taking off. This is Steve Covino from Covino and Rich. All right, quick round of trivia before we get back into the show. But we're doing it differently this time. Tennis, like I said, brought daylight when I slipped the gag away from my gen. I was already to put it back, but okay, can I say okay? I believe it. Just got to believe it. But you got to remember if you hurt me, you'll be hurting aided, guys. I know. I choose to do why else would I go to all this trouble? Aaxe, you sure? I love data. And he just looked at me funny and I said, okay, I'll clear chip ROLOS next Wednesday night. And I come away. ROLOS. I suppose you have been there. Yeah. Yeah. Can't believe you. I used to go there once in a while, but when I was alive, I got the couple of dollars. She's the crab. She's got two she's. They're close there. A lot to. Yeah.
For time standing by the way it was just a concern. I'm just standing there. And of course, she's the gen. She knew when it comes up. I used to get looking for her in it. Oh, ROLOS. Get in my hollow. Aaxe, they're in time. ROLOS. Get your bags down, Jens. Just these are plain 17. What'd you say? I said she's gonna play. Get your money down. Set 17. 5 on 17. Out that's down. That's all, Jens. And I left this in the red. And I pushed these finger off this 17. And I stopped. That's all. 17. Yeah, I just did. Turn your back, Jens. Four. Four. 100 dollars. 100 dollars. Glad you're right. You said spin the wheel. Out that's down. Round and round she goes and likes you. Stop's nobody knows. What the heck? Nobody knows. I know. Stop's on board. Oh, well, nice gosh, sister. Yeah, it is nice, ain't it?
The loving Schuster. Yeah, 11. 500 dollars. I could eat those Schuster. Spin the wheel. There was an awful short spin roll. They'll be for the bad. It's stopped and four, isn't it? Hey, Schuster. What? Didn't you got enough? Enough to marry, Ada. You win three times. Oh, I can't land. Girls, let's not quit yet. J. 13. 13. A thousand bucks. They have passed four in the morning. Roller declared that the bank was busted. Schuster took every dime on the chart. The world's Schuster wouldn't need a help. Anyone out of that place with money sticking out every pocket in his hat? Hey, Schuster, I said. Well, because you're too horrific, I'm set for life. No, you're set for life, Schuster. I said, not yet, you. What do you mean? You forgot about Ada. Ada? Oh, oh, hey, there.
This is always to get married. I'm just to remember. Yeah. Well, what do you know? Put it there, forget about Ada. Can you measure that? And so today's after-life Schuster made a drive over the crown point through a little justice of the peace and a good marriage. She was it, was it a happy day? Don't you sure look pretty well there? A time ago on the new dress from Christ Newport, in her eyes, Chypheron, and she was learning to shoot. Even Schuster looked pretty good in a couple of breaths of green suits. My God, sentimental life, kind of falls and they're watching. Only of course nobody knew that was there, and I thought, See, that might have been me, maybe. I call me a truly tight deal. And at least I can tell you that she has everything she wants. I can do that. I'm a kind of ghost.
I can do practically anything. Here, say to look at me, she's taken about the bust. She's so happy and she's to hold me as I'm surrounded, driven in the old JP, driven to and looking at the time and out there. I couldn't help it. I stepped right up close. What's the matter honey? Why did I have to call her? And she called his dad. And it was only me just in the right. I love you, Ada. Oh, sure, then, what is this happiest humble beast? Heck, no, I wouldn't never be intruding to their privacy. I never went to their house. Well, I used to meet Schuster once in a while, and I'd say, Schuster, how they're going? Oh, thank you, I swear. Well, guys, it is very happy. And that always should glad and happy about it. And then one day I meet Schuster and ask him the same question, they kind of started in stammers for me.
Well, look, guys, I said, hey, I don't want some mink coat. Why don't you get it one? Well, I, uh, I'm not holding, guys. I made a couple of bad investments in Schuster. And me, we busted the bank and rollers again. Roller, he wasn't very happy about it, but what could the man do with his business, wasn't it? For me, there was happy, I figured. Schuster had to get again with the island to race season started. I'd say, guys, can you do anything about horses? Like what? You know. What smell you broke again? No, but I kind of like to get a new conferator and go put the name of La Lepoxy coming to the 130th order one, and I nearly won myself out flagged on the other horses Schuster had $200 on La Lepoxy's nose. Gee, recently said they'd order to get two cars built up in Corona and played them. Schuster said to me, hey, guys, I was always around someplace.
I wasn't in no place for me to go. I kept trying to subway in the elevated, but no soap, I was stuck. Joyce, they wouldn't call him distance. Ada was awful nice. See, twins. Schuster said to me, say, guys, say, guys, what, you know the sweet snake? Yeah. Well, what? I got a ticket. Gee, where's Schuster? Well, Ada went to a house in Lake Forest. They crossed bikes. Oh, wow. Hey, hey, hey, hey. Well, Ireland is a nice place that's shortened through all of them, ticket stuff to fine G, B46, so the 720-829 was quite a job of work. What? $110,000? You can buy quite a joint in Lake Forest for that kind of a mule. Oh boy, I thought Ada is doing all right.
In I'm glad Eden and Schuster is getting to become a pain in the neck. Everything about this stack market, guys? No. That's where the guy could really clean up. Our loser's shirt. Not with my little mascot. It's my little palsy, wealthy. Who's that? You, it's me, you're. Well, I don't know. Oh, I guess you can do anything. Well, Ada went to go to Mexico for the summer. Wow. Oh boy, a million dollars. Just let's get another million. And another million. What the fuck are Fiddy's saying? Why for eight against her birthday? Come on, run. Boy, no thoughts. I forgot that. I used to buy a box of the Met's candy or when I had the money candy made. And now I forgot her birthday.
She wins. Well, first I went over to the South Street and I went up to the Stock Exchange and I said, who's holiday been something up, A1 points. Now I second myself. I just got a C.A. down her birthday and see how happy she was. She and me, cold and a new automobile. A minister rolls rice. The house like forest. No. No, she's in Mexico, I thought. But I'll say happy birthday. A Mexican evening she walked here. And so, oh, she wasn't in Mexico. I looked all over like forest and there wasn't any shoes to live in there. And then I just thought, Hey, Doc, I want to see A1.
And that was right alongside her. Data didn't have a big leak, Coke. She didn't have any automobile. She was living in a flood on Tennis Feet and there wasn't any deep in the house. There wasn't anything to eat either. She was laying on a cob and I hardly even recognized her. The pompadard was all stinging and kind of dirty grave. Her eyes, you had a black eye. She was sick. She was hungry. She was wonce. She was pretty close to dying. I'm young like that. My Ada. I'm just in the wheel of horses. Sweet States. The stock market. A million dollars. I just ate it. I need a note that was there in this folk remain made back on the coffee street.
Crites and food. I couldn't hate that. G. When I come away. She was in low lows. Did I tell you, Rola had some very tough customers around. And she did. Hang on up the shuster. She said, Shuster. Shuster, I said. Rola wants to see him as often. I'm busy guys. I had a go on in. Shuster, there's something for you in there. Is he? No. Go see. There's some shuster without him. I asked him. Hey, Rola, what do you want? Rola. Rola. Rola. Rola. He's dead, Shuster. The hyena. Did you guys look at that night for this, Shuster?
Yes. It's my life. Got your name on it. I didn't do it. I know you didn't. But they'll think you did. Head out the big guy, Sim. I will. The guy with a brass knuckstrel. The guy that bites me. But I didn't do that. No, I done it, Shuster. You sure? Remember I told you I was a lot in that rock when guy. One bad guy. Rola was an awful bad guy, Shuster. Sorry you for that matter. Them guys like Rola were an awful lot, Shuster. What they'll do to that guy, they think you'll do. Rola, come on from the outside. Shuster, the doors locked. The tough boys are coming. Can you praise Shuster? Not to me, Shuster.
So long, lad. GUNS! GUNS! GUNS! GUNS! GUNS! And I walked out just as the tough guys, the bodyguarded, the dead man started hammering on the door. I could still hear shoes to cry and then move them there. And you know what? Out there in the big room there was a set of stairs I never seen before. I started up the stair steps and there wasn't anybody to stop me. And I climbed up the enough, the enough, and the stairway went right on up ahead of me. And there was somebody at the top, black powder door, the shine of the eyes. What? I'm not such a bad ghost after all. Am I?
I'm not such a bad ghost. The title of today's client, please, story is Good Gokes. It was written and directed by Willis Cooper.
