Queen's Last Meeting with Great-Grandchild Lilibet

0:00On April 9th, a new book reveals the late Queen Elizabeth met her great-grandchild Princess Lillibet just once before passing away. That touching moment happened during her platinum Jubilee celebrations in June 2022, marking 70 years on the throne. Prince Harry and Meghan brought their one-year-old daughter from California, along with four-year-old Prince Archie now. Friends say the Queen was thrilled as Lillibet crawled around her feet at Windsor. It was the only time the two connected in person, right before the Queen's death on September 8th, 2022, at age 96. Harry and Meghan had stepped back from rural duties two years earlier, but flew back for the big family event. Harry later shared warm memories in his memoir Spare, picturing Archie bowing chivalrously and Lillibet hugging granny shins. The Queen called them the sweetest children. A bit bemused they weren't more rambunctious like she imagined American kids. She also recalled her playful side, like laughing on the balcony or starring in a fun and victus gains video.
