The upcoming presentation is a two-man power trip of wrestling podcast production. Hello and welcome to the latest podcast. I am your host, J.P. John Paz with me, of course, the returning guest,
the former WCW head writer, former WFHead writer, former WCW world heavyweight champion, Mr. Vince Russo, Vince, welcome and how you doing? What is going on, John? How you doing, man? Doing good. Can I interesting, though, when I see your name pop up and some interesting stuff that you threw out there recently, what's going on with the LA night and Triple H? I had to bring that off off the top because I see that kind of circling. Triple H? Like LA night, what's going on? No, I said that a long time ago. But it's so weird, it just popped up on Jericho's site. I don't know if they're behind the news or I just want to know. So I wonder if you said that again if you had to. No, I said that a long time ago and somebody just, somebody on the inside told me that he's not a big fan of LA night and that's why we kind of see a stop and go and stop and go and stop and go a lot. That was interesting. For some reason, it just popped up like two days ago on Jericho site. I was like, wow, did you say that again? Do you find it? No. Or something? Yeah. That's old. Why doesn't he like him?
What's up with that? I don't know why. I mean, I don't know why. I just know there's some kind of an issue there. I don't know why, though. So somebody... I think it's easy to tell why, bro. Like I don't think... I don't know LA night. But I just get the feeling that he's not going to be a guy that just falls in line. You know what I mean? I mean, he's a veteran guy. He's been around for a long time. He just seems like the kind of guy that's going to speak his mind. And you know what the WWE, bro? They like you to fall in line and do as you're told and not speak out. And he just doesn't seem like that kind of a guy. And it seemed like obviously Vince wanted him to be a manager, even though he's more jacked and some of the wrestlers were kind of an odd thing. Obviously Triple H kind of changed that. But when he feuded with Bray Wyatt, he'd like roasted Bray Wyatt on the mic. And that was Bray Wyatt's strong suit. So it's like, okay, this guy has something you could tell.
Yeah, yeah, but there's some kind of an issue there. Do you like LA night? What do you think about him? In the highlight, like... Is he a New York guy? Where's he from LA night? He's from LA night. Oh, he actually is from... He's from California. I'm pretty sure, yeah. No, he's a talented dude, bro. Like he can certainly cut a promo. He looks good. He could be a great character. They've never really put him in a good storyline, you know? By the way, just looked us up. He's from Haker's Town, Maryland. That's where he was born. So... He's been in some time wrestling over a long time in LA. That's why... Yeah, I thought he was from the East Coast somewhere, though. I had a feeling he was from the East Coast. Lived a lot in the West Coast, but he's born and raised in East Coast, Maryland. Yeah. Do you think that he could be a top player, like a main event guy or what? Bro, you can make anybody a main event guy top player. I mean, my God, bro. Sammy Zane is in the heavyweight picture.
Like, come on. You know, bro, it just depends on the story and the material you give them, bro. That's really what it depends on, man. You know, and what you want to give somebody and what you don't want to give somebody, you know? But like really star potential wise, like rock looks like a star hogan looks like a... Oh, well, bro. You're talking about guys that nobody's going to touch. You know what I mean? Nobody's going to touch a hogan. Nobody's going to touch a rock. Nobody's going to touch in Austin. So that level, no, bro. He could never be that level, but I do think he could be a main eventer. Do you like his stick? You know, his whole... Just his charisma, hit the way he talks, all that stuff. Do you like that? The gimmick? Well, you know, it's hard, bro, and I know he gets this rap a lot. It's hard to not look at him and think of the rock and Austin. It's hard, but I don't think he's trying to imitate those guys.
I really don't. I just kind of think that that's who he is. You know, bro, I just happen to stumble across a promo from him when he... I guess he was managing Moxley or something or some indie thing. And it was many, many, many years ago, bro. And it was the same delivery. I mean, he was pretty much the same guy. So I don't think he's trying to rip anybody off or imitate anybody. I just think that's his persona. But if you were going to rip off somebody and kind of do that, wouldn't you want to kind of emulate two of the top stars of all time? No, not rip them off. Kind of like... But not really, bro, because that's what people are going to say. You know what I'm saying? And that's who... Then they're going to compare you to those guys. I don't think that's what he's trying to do. I just think that's his personality. Is it kind of crazy that he's still over, even though they haven't really given him anything? And you hear what he mean, but he's still over. Yeah, no, it is.
And bro, it's hard, man. One of the hardest things is when they're not giving you something to keep yourself over. Because what happens is the fans give up on you. I mean, that's what happens. And at that point, you're in a very, very, very tough spot because you're trying to stay over with very little. But at least now they've given them a little something. At least now he's got the rub with solo. So he has a little something now, and that's going to help him. And he's going to be, I guess, hopefully wrestling Roman Reigns. He keeps saying he wants a title shot for like the last, you know, a couple of months. He wants to wrestle Roman for a title shot. Do you see him as a title? Continue to see him as winning the title. Do you see him feuding with Roman? No, I kind of see it as a one and done. You know, I mean, I think they'll definitely have the match. But I don't think there's anybody who believes they're going to put LA night over Roman Reigns. Would you do that, like as like a shock, as far as you book? Abro, I think there's dead set.
I think they think the money is in Roman and Oba Femi. I think that that's where they think the money is. So if that's the road there headed down, they're not going to do something like that. Even just to pop it in and give it back to Roman, they wouldn't do that. Oh, I don't think so, man. I don't think they would want to hurt him along the way at all. Would you do that? Like your booking style, would you do that? No, not if I really wanted to build a main event between these two guys. If I really, really wanted to build it the right way, both of these guys would remain very, very strong. It just seems like whoever you're talking to behind the scenes, kind of hit the nail in the head just as far as LA night, like the hot and coldness of it. Like he's hot, he's over and then they don't do anything. And it's almost like a repeating pattern for the last couple of years with him. Yeah, but bro, that's what a lot of people, man. Look at Drew. You know what I'm saying? I mean, that's with a lot of people. Bro, they have a real problem.
I mean, one of their biggest problems and it's been it's been this way for a long time. They'll get somebody to a certain point, but they can't get them behind it beyond that. And there's only one place to go with that point and that's down. And we've seen that on so many occasions where they have somebody there, but then they just don't know what to do to get them to that next level. I think that's been a problem for them for a long time. Big time and it almost seems like they can't figure it out creatively. Like, how do we get it? Yeah, and even recently, Jacob, too. And now they're going to do the same thing with solo. Like that's the thing, man. You got to get them to that next level. And I think that's where they struggle, man. And there's like a bunch of guys in that level where they could be stars. Like, Bronn Breaker, too. Jacob, by two, there's a bunch of guys that could be pushed.
Yep, absolutely. Absolutely. Now, as far as the topic of discussion for today and kind of what I wanted to talk about, Survivor Series 1999 was on November 14, 1999. Detroit, Michigan, Joe Lewis, Arena, 18,735, and attendance, Pay-Per-View, By-Rate, over 400,000, the tagline family that slays together, stays together. You're gone at this point. Are you paying any attention to WWF 1999? God. 1999. Absolutely not. I got my hands full at WCW. Absolutely not. I can't even tell you what was on this card. This is crazy because it's going to go in a weird direction because Stone Cold Steve Austin is going to be hurt. I don't even know if you remember how we get hurt and the storyline, but we'll get into that because it's a thread throughout the whole show. But it's one of those things where they are really losing momentum, I think. Even when you were there in the summer, I feel like that was losing momentum,
a little creatively, because Austin's hurt, really trying to make Triple H into a star. I feel like hurting a bit creatively in 1999. You leave, and I like, I didn't, you know, call me crazy, but it's not the wheels fall off, but it goes in like an odd direction. For me, so I'm like, all right, obviously Rousseau is now in WCW. He's got a lot of stuff going on. You had Halloween havoc. You did 230 buys for that, 230,000 buys. Then you had Mayhem, which is a week after this show, which was November 21st. So a week after this show, 200,000 By-Rate, so 200,000 K. So that's pretty good, or 200 K. So pretty good By-Rate for WCW. But obviously, you know, you're not paying attention to this, but also 14,000 were in attendance for the WCW Mayhem show. So it's not like you need to pay attention, but it seems like you're doing okay. So to speak, as far as WCW, when you first got there in 1999. Yeah, we would do and find the first three months, right? I say this all the time. We had Ed and I had a plan. We were following out the plan, and everything was going according to plan.
When you're looking at, obviously, you've got too much going on. So you're not paying attention. Does anybody in WCW, like how it's been called, you used to watch everything until, do you guys have something like that? Were somebody's feeding information to you? Well, when I tell you, I don't have a clue to what they're doing, nor do I care. You know, we had such a big undertaking on our hands with WCW. I'm broad. I didn't have a clue. I didn't have a clue. So Jeremy Borers, his son watching show going, hey, by the way, Austin Tarrant, and this is going on in WCW. Not at all. Not to me anyway. I mean, maybe him and Bob Ryder are doing that. I don't know, but absolutely not, absolutely not. You know, thank you used to do that for events. Like, hey, this is going on. Now kind of interesting just a little quick cyber here with Borersh. How come he doesn't admit that he's a Rousseau disciple? What's going on with that? What do mean does he deny it? But how come he hasn't come out and said it? What's going on?
He probably thinks it'll give him heat probably. I guess, yeah. Triple H now he's a triple H guy, you know what I mean? Now he's been triple H is right hand for a long time from what I understand, you know? That's a prize you at all. No, I mean Jeremy's a smart dude, bro. I mean, there's no question about if I didn't think it was a smart dude and a creative dude. I would have never took him under my wing. He's a smart dude. He's not a kid anymore either, bro. He's a smart dude. I just find it funny that a couple of the guys at a Rousseau Disciples, people don't realize that they're Rousseau Disciples. Yeah, no, Conway's another one, bro. I did so much for that kid at TNA, man. I never hear a peep from that kid. Bill Banks fell off the face of the earth. I don't know what happened to him, but yeah, there were a few of them. What is going up with Conway? Where is he in nowadays? I have no idea, bro. No idea.
I think his dad, his dad, I think, owned a talent agency in Nash. I think his dad represented the Oak Ridge Boys. And I think he may have been breaking Matt in that business, I think. Wow, Oak Ridge Boys at one point in time made an appearance for WCW at one point. Oh, did they really? I didn't know that. Late 80s? I want to say, early 90s? Probably late 80s. Yeah. Yeah, absolutely. Yeah, no doubt. Wow, maybe that's why Conway loves wrestling. He got into it because he saw them perform in another WCW. Maybe. So 99 here, Triple H is the champ. He's the guy getting the big push. You could be the blame for that if, you know, certain people don't like Triple H getting a push. Because you started the momentum of his push. Do you like the fact that you're associated with the push of Triple H? I have no problem with that. Essentially. Yeah, it was Jim Kornet who said that Triple H will never draw a dime in this business, not me. I have no problem with that whatsoever.
Bro, it's, you know, even to this day, man, it's like, bro, one thing you got to say about Triple H too. And you got to keep in mind, man, you know, the, the, the, the, um, the medical, the heart situation. Bro, he's a hard worker, man. Like he, he, everything he's involved in man, he gives it his all. And that's very, very, very important, man. He is a lifer, if you will. It just absolutely loves the business work. Supposedly like 80 hours a week. He's just obsessed with it. Yeah. Little Vince like, right? As far as being obsessed. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I would say so. Yeah. He's getting this big push. The main event for the evening is announced as Triple H versus the rock versus Steve Austin, a triple threat match for Triple H's championship. We kind of teased it with the last time we were talking about no mercy. Rock interfered in Austin versus Triple H. Cost Austin the match. So then obviously now all three of the guys have an issue with each other. Do you like the kind of the way they're going with that?
Or is it a little too like cliche triple? Yeah. Okay. I mean, as long as they keep it interesting, I don't have a problem with that. Now, this is one of those things where I don't think the show is that good, but there's such a huge storyline development. And then you think it's going somewhere, but Austin is going to end up being injured. So he's going to be end to be an out. You won't really get the payoff for a while. So let's just let's get into the show and talk about this show here. So every series 99 starts with a video package setting up the main event. So nothing is being told yet. As far as the main event, but it's Triple H. Like I said, we're Steve Austin versus the rock for the championship Vince McMahon, who's basically a face at this point. It's basically like the baby face owner at this point was announced as a special guest referee. They've thrown it out there. And of course, JR and the king are the announcers. So as we're, you know, we're talking about this just to just delay the groundwork here. Steve Austin will not end up being in that main event. By the way, just to just to let you know, you're none of this is ringing a bell.
You don't remember this. Oh god, no. Vince of maybe face. I don't know. It's just one of those things where I don't know if it kind of worked. You're just waiting for him to turn heel kind of type of thing. So they start off with a survivor series elimination match four on four. It's Deilo Brown, the godfather and the headbangers versus the acolyte bridge of Rook and the Dudley boys. The match basically ends up with the survivors being godfather and Deilo Brown. So godfather Deilo and the headbangers went. Two soul survivors of the match or godfather and Deilo. Do you like survivor series matches just in general? Deilo throwing up? I mean, I liked them back in the day. You know, when you had all the larger than life bigger, you know, big name superstars on on a team. I mean, you know, when it first started, it was really, really, really cool. You know, it really was. But man, that was only maybe the first, I don't know, five years or so. You know what I'm saying?
Then they started going away from it a little bit. But when it first started, the concept and the teams were great, man, absolutely. I mean, like you're telling me these four teams, like there's nothing here that surprises me because Deilo and Marquennery are already associated. The headbangers are already associated. You know, their legit tag teams. You know, back in the day, it was individuals. It was superstars teaming together. Godfather in Deilo is this one. But yes, yeah, yeah, they were in the nation. When you're looking at this though, they're kind of trying to do the old school, so about at least mix in some of the old schools, the diversity kind of in a way. I kind of, I guess, but it's not close, man. No, definitely not. It definitely falls flat. I mean, back in the day, that was the best. I mean, who's going to be team with the Magger Parasome? You got Hillbilly Jim, Coco, and Hurtin, and it was on Thanksgiving night, which made it even more awesome, man. Yeah, those were the days. Those were the days.
Yes. Oh my God. I feel like they're at least attempting to go for that kind of feel to it, but really, they've gotten away from the Survivor Series, for sure. I don't think they're attempting to go that way at all. These are four tag teams. I mean, that's what this is, you know what I mean? Just to get them on the card, you mean? I think so. Absolutely. Yeah, absolutely. Yep. So then we have a video package about the Olympic gold medalist, Kurt Angle, who will be making his debut here. With Kurt Angle. Bro, I think I met Kurt Angle one time. And I remember meeting, I remember Billy Gunn introducing me to Trish Stratus, trying to get her on a job. I remember that that's the one time I ever met her. So I think I did meet Kurt one time while he was in developmental.
That's it, huh? Wow. Yeah, because it seems like they had big plans for him. So even when you were there, there wasn't like big plans for him as far as you know. Nope. I met him one time. He was he was he was at a show once and I was introduced to him. Is that normal? Like as far as like they sign a Olympic gold medalist and they don't really tell the writers like who they are? Yeah, I won't hear anything until he's ready to go. Then they'll give me the green light. What did you think of Kurt Angle when you saw him? Did you think anything of him or you just thought like, you know, the one that I got to tell you, man, and I even wound up calling him man. Bro, I I never saw his gold medal win until like six months ago. Wow, really? Oh my goodness. And when I saw and bro, I worked with him for years and years and years and loved him at TNA and loved work with him and had never seen that. And when I saw that, it was like holy shit. Like I had no freaking idea and I wound up calling him and I'm like, my God bro,
like I had never ever seen that before. But man, bro, like I love the guy to begin with. But when I saw that match, man, God did I put him high on the pedestal? Amazing. He did it with a broken freaking neck too. Crazy man. Unreal, bro. Do you think amateur wrestling can translate? Obviously him, but I mean, just in general amateur translating to real rest or to pro wrestling. So to speak or no, what do you mean, translate like like the guy's at their amateur wrestlers? Yeah, I think they just go to pro. Do you think that I definitely think so as long as long as it's part of their gimmick. If it's part of their gimmick and that's how they work, yeah, I definitely think it could translate. How come some guys it just doesn't translate, but Angle it, it does. Like is it just the pens, bro, whether you just have that, you know, in fact, or not, I mean, because you could talk about UFC and I always talk about, you know, Ken Shamrock being one of the most believable guys I ever saw. And there were a lot of UFC fighters that came through that work quite frankly boring.
But, you know, Shamrock stood out. He understood it. Bro speaking to that, let me ask you a question because I don't follow it. How's that freestyle gimmick doing? Good. Very good. Real American freestyle. Yes, they were just in Moscow and they'd had a really good showing in Moscow. So they're all over the place. Is it legit or is it a work? It's legit. Shoot. It's a shoot. Okay. Freestyle wrestling. Yep. They actually get a lot of like UFC guys doing it too. So they're like free of their contract to do it. And still be in the UFC. So they'll get big names wrestling each other. Yeah. Okay. Because I don't really follow what I wasn't sure. But it is also interesting. I don't know if I've mentioned this before that so Bishoff obviously is part of the team running it. Part of the management team running it. But I noticed that nobody covered it. But at first when it first came out, people were covering it, but bashing it. Now that it's successful, nobody's covering it as far as the internet wrestling community. That's something I noticed. Yeah, I hate that too, bro.
Like I hate they pick and choose what they're going to put over. I hate that. Like they wanted Bishoff to fail because he said bad things, but he'd W or whatever that he got to like the WB Hall of Fame. So they're not happy with him or you know, like that type of thing. Yeah. Yeah. But yeah, RAF it's doing pretty game good. And they had a huge show in Russia. Moscow, Russia, all places. So they're going like that country of Georgia they went to. I mean, they're going like all over the place for a minute. And when they were in the States, they were drawing pretty good. They were drawing better. I know a W TV show. It's different, but they were drawing more than the Dynamite was drawn. So I mean, pretty good in the States. Yeah, good. Good for an Embro. That's cool. Back to Kurt, though. It's he, I know we talked about this for is he a guy that you always thought was going to be great when you met him in TNA or did you have to like learn who he was kind of in TNA as far as booking? No, but by the time by the time he was in TNA, I knew he had a reputation. I'll be honest with you, bro, and it's the God honest truth. By the time he was in TNA, I never saw him wrestle one time in the WWE not once.
Whoa. I didn't watch it, bro. I swear to God, I did not watch it. I didn't watch any of it. So I mean, I knew we had the reputation. I knew Jeff was really, really excited to get him. I had never seen him wrestle one time. What did you think when you finally did see him wrestle? Well, you know, bro, he was man, I'll never forget man. And God bless a man. But when he came in, bro, he was really trying to get off the prescription drugs. And I remember, bro, the first time I ever had to produce him. And he was doing a sit down interview, bro. And it was this like the whole time. To the point of man, I was concerned about his well-being. Yeah, you know what I'm saying? But I think that was withdrawal. I think he was really, really trying to get off this stuff, man. But once he was in that ring, man, you never, ever saw that, man.
And here's the crazy part. How good he was in WWE and how awesome he was. He was even better in the ring in TNA because he had a little more experience. He didn't get out the psychology net. He was wrestling some awesome guys like Joe and AJ and stuff like that. So he and Jeff, so he was better in TNA, shockingly. Yeah, absolutely. He even says that he was better in TNA. Yeah, I didn't see any of his WWE work. In ring, though, as far as actual his ability and stuff, do you think he was the best this far as to what you saw in TNA? Best what? In ring wrestler. Best wrestler? Yeah, in ring. Yeah. I mean, bro, like I will always, man, bro, I will always put Jeff up there. I will always, always put Jeff up there. I mean, you know, but, you know, Kurt was more of a wrestler. Restler, Jeff was more of a wrestler showman. You know, Jeff, Jeff was a heel man, you know, and Kurt was more of a wrestler with,
Jeff was a little bit more of a character. With Kurt here, which is really kind of interesting. So he makes his debut. He's an Olympic gold medalist. He's a heel. What do you think about that? Like that dynamic. Because you would think the Olympic gold medal is going to be the big, baby face, you know, Hulk, Hogue, and Real America. How did they make him a heel? I would have to know that. So basically, he comes off as a very cocky and like, I'm an Olympic gold medalist, intensity, integrity, intelligence. You guys, you know, aren't as good as me, but I can get you there. Like that type of thing. Oh, I got you. I got you. Okay. Yeah. He's like over the top, annoying heel, like overly confident. Yeah. You did a good job then making him a heel. That's, that sounds, that sounds like a good job. It is kind of funny though in the attitude, Eric. And obviously, 99 is right in the middle of it. That the typical guys that are going to be baby faces are heels. You know what I mean? And like Steve Austin, who's literally a heel is the biggest baby face. So angle, of course, he drinks milk and he's a, you know,
total American hero. He's a patriot. He's a gold medalist. He won it with a broken neck. He's a heel. Is that perfect for the attitude era? I think so. I think so. And again, man, they just really concentrated on building characters back then, man. So that, that sounds like they did a really good job with it. It's kind of like funny just to, with this, the thing about it, because it's like, wow, he's definitely going to be like a generic baby face. And nope, he's the big heel. So his debut match is going to be again, Sean Staseyak, Kurt Angle, end up defeating Sean Staseyak. In six minutes, it was okay. You know, nothing crazy, but it was just like a almost more of a showcase. He kind of not dominated, but you know, he kind of proved like he's an Olympic gold medalist now he's here in WWE. And he's going to be the best wrestler in WWE. I have to. Yeah, got it. Winds by pinful. Also interesting. And I don't know like the genesis of it, but apparently it's a Vince Mike McMahon idea. In the middle of his match, Kurt Angle will leave the ring and get on the mic and tell them that they need to cheer him because he's an Olympic gold medalist.
Did they keep that consistent? Well, they stopped doing it. They stopped doing it at some point, but at first it was kind of consistent of hitting it. I mean, I like it. That's heat, man. It's heat. Anyway, a heel can get heat, man. Anyway, and it really solidified like them wanting to boom because they're like, oh, now he's telling us we need to cheer this guy like if this guy. Yeah, exactly. Yeah, no, that's a good strategy, man. So then after that, we have another elimination match. This time it's Gangrel, Mark Henry, Steve Blackman, and Valvenus versus the British Bulldog and the Mead Street Policy of Joey Ab's, Pete Gas, and Rodney. What do you think about that team, Bulldog and the Mead Street Policy as a team? Well, that's a little bit more like a Survivor Series match, you know, because it's not traditional tag teams, you know? So that one sounds a little bit more interesting to me than the first one. Rag tag bunch of guys, your Valvenus, Mark Henry, Gangrel, and Blackman. That's pretty damn random. Yeah, it is.
Interesting, though. It's interesting. I liked it because it is kind of old school, like, you know, it was like, hey, Jake, the snake is teaming up with, uh, dog and steamboat and savage, like that type of thing. Not the dough scrubs are at that level, but that type of, uh, yeah, no, absolutely. Yeah, I like this. This is more of a traditional what they used to do. These soul survivors are just Valvenus and Mark Henry going over. Do you agree with that decision? Who else was in there again? Blackman and Gangrel. Yeah, yeah, that works. I mean, I know Val was real over when I left. I don't know what they did with him at real, real over while I was there. I don't know what they did with him when I left, but. Kind of went downhill from there, to be honest, like, they started, I mean, eventually, he'll turn, he'll and stuff like that, but they didn't really do much with him that he had beaten mankind. The paper you were for. So it was like, wow, he's going to get a push and then he wins here. So it keeps them wins. And then they kind of don't do much with the map title, like, I see title stuff. Yeah. Should he have been a man of anything?
He could have been. I mean, I he could have been with the porn star game. Do you think that that's the main event material? I don't think that matters. No, I mean, you look, look, look how much we had pushed Goldust before everybody chickened out. That is true. Yeah, that is true. Yeah. So next up, we have a women's survivor series match here. An eight woman tag, if you will, Deborah, the fabulous mula, Mae Young and Tory versus ivory, Jaifeline, Luna and Terry Reynolds. What in the world? What is your, what's your thought process here? What do you think about this? I'll let me hear it again. Even the sides again. It's actually, it's not technically survivor series match because it's not a elimination match. So it's just an eight woman tag match, but it's Deborah McMichael, Mula and Mae Young and then Tory. So that's a interesting game. Usually I'm mula and young, I'm the same. And then you got ivory, Jacqueline, Luna and Terry. Yeah, well, Terry, I guess Terry and Deborah will wipe each other out because
neither one of them can work in our wrestlers. Right. So I mean, you do have six women in there that can, that can work. Then you got, which is interesting here. So Deborah, Mula, Mae Young and Tory, when they win by pinfall, match goes two minutes. Get out of here. So what happens? It's just just pure just silliness. It's like not real good work. It's just, it's just a mess. It's like whatever. So post match Deborah and Terry, runnels are arguing and she rips off her top and basically rips off her bra and like almost like, okay, we gave you two minutes. It was horrible. It was a mess. It's all the sort of stuff. We're going to pop the crowd and have Terry and Deborah like rip off each other's tops and you'll cover each other up. That would like and that popped the crowd. So it almost felt like they just had the eight women out there. They had the two-minute match just to get to this spot. Yes, send everybody on home. Yeah, that's what it sounds like. So then of course, like the faces are happy.
The heels are upset. Deborah can't believe it, but you know, Terry is happy. Yeah. She rips her bra and everything like that. And then ivory and Mula just for shits and giggles, they start brawling. Got you. A little cluster at you know what I mean? It sounds like yeah. Typical of that time period of how they booked the women, it just seemed like. Yeah, I guess. Are you happy with the amount of time that they got? They only got two minutes. I mean, that's like a bro, bro, trust me. I'm not a fan of long matches, but that's a very, very short match. Kind of crazy just to get the bra spot on there. And it's silly too because Luna and Jackie were on one side against Mula and May young. God, I would have liked to see a little bit more of that, you know? Yeah, kind of funny, but it would have been kind of cool to look. So then Xbox interview backstage, but Lily and Xbox talks about how he carried Kane for months. He's got a whip Kane's ass of Xbox full heel.
They did the turn next match up. Kane defeat Xbox by disqualification four minutes and 15 seconds. Then DX comes out. They start beating up Kane. Tory comes out. She basically, uh, basically kind of, you think he's going to turn on Xbox or whatever. And she ends up turning turning on Kane type of thing. So basically, Kane gets to invite the disqualification. Thanks DX. Thanks to Tory and Xbox, you know, it takes the loss here, but they end up beating him up to get the heel. Why do you think this was so short? That I don't know. And they this was like a program they've been building up for a while. So only four minutes, 15 seconds. I'm not sure. That's really short for almost felt like a TV match. Yeah, that's weird. That's weird. Unless something, unless something went long before it. I don't know. But just to throw us out to two, Tory, you think is going to help Kane, Xbox kicks her by accident. Eventually, Tory will turn heel on Kane and, you know, turn on him and, you know, further his sympathetic babyface stuff where everybody just keep turning on the guy.
But here she tries to make it safe for him. So they're leading up to something. Was she getting over it all? Not really. No. Okay. Not to worry now. I know she was doing that naked thing for a while trying to like get over where she. Yeah, I saw some clip. I just saw some clip the other day where she was walking in the back. And she just dropped the pants. Yeah, they were trying like desperately to get her over it. And like, that's what they thought was going to be a good idea. Yeah. Yeah. Okay. Kind of weird to be able to. Yeah. Low weird. Nurse BB comes out to attend to Kane. So I guess they were trying maybe to make nurse BB into a character. And the crowd was going nuts. I don't know if you remember BB. She was a blonde nurse with. It's a big knocker. Did she marry one of the boys? Hartko Holly at one point, I believe. Was it Hartko Holly or was it Al Snow? Was it Al Snow? Good question. I know how Holly had at least dated her. Maybe it was Holly then. Actually, that's a good point. I don't remember. Let's see if there's anything for as a.
Al Snow's. I actually don't know if it was no. I thought it was I thought it was Holly. But I'll snow married a wrestler, right? At one point. Yeah, I can't remember who. Well, fan, but yeah. Okay. All right. You got to ask him the next time you do show them. You got to. Basically quick match. Obviously, they're going to continue the feud with Kane. The next block in Tori of eventually, we'll turn heel. They have a backstage announced a thing with the rock with Michael Cole. He's interviewing him. He just basically says that he's ready. He's going to win the World title. Triple H shows up. They start brawling. That is that. When is this Austin angle start, man? I know that here's crazy. We haven't even said yet. So I think bait and switch as far as what we're going to get here. Because why haven't they told us we're halfway through the show? They haven't even told us that the main event guy. You're number one guy isn't even going to be wrestling on the show. It's crazy. Right. Right. So next up, we have a one on four Survivors Series elimination match.
Big boss man versus, excuse me, big boss man, Prince Albert, Midian and Visara. So arguably one of the biggest teams ever versus the big show. One on four. Guess who wins this one? The big show in basically one minute and 30 seconds. One on six. And heck is going on, bro. With all these short matches, man. Yeah. How did he go over in a minute 30 seconds? He just destroyed them. Just literally destroyed them one by one. They were crazy. Wow. Wow. Wow. Wow. Unbelievable. That sounds unbelievable to me. And they're really building up boss man. Big show for like a few to her confrontation. And he just like kind of destroys those guys. And they're not smart. I mean, Visara's 500 pounds. Albert's 350. Midian is huge. Big boss man, huge show. It's like, man, what's going on? Big show. They're really giving him a big push here. Wow. That's it. Yeah, that's something that doesn't sound believable to me. But next up, we have China with Miss Kitty defending her inner
continental championship against Chris Jericho in an intergender match. The match goes 13 minutes and 45 seconds. A 14 minute match here. And China goes over. What do you what do you think about that? China wins via pinfall over Jericho. Yeah, that's what I that's what I was going to ask you. Did she hold her own for 14 minutes? And what was the finish that she be Jericho? It's kind of interesting. I don't I don't because I watch this, but I don't remember the finish. But it was somewhat clean, but Miss Kitty was kind of involved in a way. But she definitely holds her own. And it was just weird because it's like, man, she held her own versus Jared. And now she's holding her own against Jericho. Like they're really giving her a big push. Yeah, but I don't know what it does for Jericho here. Nothing. This is because Jericho is a WCW guy, bro. That's exactly why they're doing this, bro. To put him in his place to humble him, to see how he's going to react to it. All that wrestling bullshit, you know. Steve Austin's interviewed backstage.
Here we go. Interviewed by Kevin Kelly. Triple H shows up to attack him. Triple H basically spits some liquid in his face. You know, probably water, but we don't know for sure. Then there's a shot of Austin in the parking garage. He's looking for somebody. Obviously, he's looking for Triple H. He's trying to get his wits about him. A car drives into the parking lot. And it runs Steve Austin over. The car runs over Austin. And Austin flips in the air, bumps into the car. JR is freaking out and Austin's out on the cement laid out. Obviously, he's not Austin that takes the bump from the car. But it is a stunt double. But that looks like Steve Austin. But still Steve Austin, that quote, unquote, is taken out by a car that ran him over. You never saw this or heard about this. I'm shocked. Well, I think I've heard about it. I will say that I think I've heard about it. By never seen this. No. Kind of like wacky. It was like, whoa, the biggest star in the company just got ran over by. I was able to see legit hurt at the time. So it's been building up since Summerslam. He had the neck injury.
He had the knee injury. He had a bunch of stuff going on. But his neck is really bad. So his neck is messed up. He's going to have to get this diffusion surgery. OK. So remember when he initially heard his neck with, oh, and didn't get surgery and just kind of rehabbing. He was OK. But obviously he keeps getting worse and worse. They're working 300 nights a year. I mean, it's a lot of toll on his body. He's the number one guy. He always stayed laid. He always did all this other stuff. So everything is taken to toll on him here at 99. But it's like holy crap. Yeah. The big gun here. Your big star is now taken out by a random person of car and they drove away. We don't know who it was. OK. We kind of assume Triple H had something to do because he spent the guy's face was trying to brawl with him and kind of led him in this direction. So right. You kind of figure your head. Triple H has something to do with this. Do you like the way that they're taking it? It's going to depend where it goes. Whether I like it or not, it's going to depend where it goes. Like that's the end of it. Well, it's going to kind of continue here with Vince. Basically, he's shown running the backstage area.
He goes to the parking lot. He looks for help. He shows up with Stephanie. They're wondering what the hell's going on. This is the show. This is this big star. Shane and Tess show up. Vince is freaking out. Jim Roths, obviously he was on a commentator. He was freaking out. Jim Dotson, he had a security on the scene. Everything is going on. It's like pandemonium back there. Jim Roths is obviously really, really selling this big time here. And he says, Triple H is going to pay for this. Hunter is going to pay for this. So he's kind of throwing it out there that Triple H is the culprit or at least has something to do with it. Vince basically tells somebody to get his car so he can go to the hospital. So I don't know if there's a mean to Vince. We'll be there for the main event. He's supposed to be the rep for the main event. So they're leading this on. So Vince get, you know, they load Austin onto the ambulance and he goes to the hospital. And that's going to be kind of, you know, that's the big ankle here to basically write Austin off of a TV for the next 11 months. He'll be gone. So that was the big storyline. Major neck surgery, obviously started.
Well, how did they follow this up then? What happened? Eventually, you mean down the road? Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. It's end of date. Said it was Rikishi. And Rikishi ends up turning heel. He did it for the rock was his reasoning, even though he was working in kuhutsu with triple H. I guess triple H talked them into it. When Austin returns Austin's big few to start off things was with a heel Rikishi. So it ended up kind of lame to be honest. Got you. OK. OK. It just that, as far as that, I don't think that that worked for me. But then eventually you find out triple H is the match to mind, then Austin starts a big few with triple H. So it all kind of leads to Austin versus triple H 11 months later. But Rikishi is kind of the middle man. The middle man there to start it off. Do you like that idea? No, not with Rikishi. I don't know. What do you think Austin didn't hit with the car? Well, bro, they had to do something pretty drastic to put him out for 11 months. I mean, that's a long time. So I don't mind that.
It would just depend, like how long before we found out it was Rikishi like months. And way, way later, because the McTole is the mission. Did they keep the story alive? Yes, they do investigations. And they're trying to look into it and who took them out and stuff like that. So yes. And obviously, we know it's triple H. Because when triple H is fighting the rocket back to the Asian 2000, Austin comes back and he beats up triple H and all the guys. He's obviously had a statement. Wasn't really prepared to wrestle, because he's still recovering the next surgery. But you know it had obviously has something to do with triple H. But when Rikishi reveals that it's him, then obviously he turns his attention 11 months later to Rikishi for a little bit. I did it for the rock. But obviously he did it because triple H told him to do it too, because he was in Kahootsu Triple H. And it was revealed that it was Rikishi was in a foreign church. It was not a, I don't know, it did not get the desired reaction that he should have gotten. Yes. Kind of not great.
Then obviously eventually next survivor's yours. So 12 months after this survivor's yours 2000, Austin versus Triple H is the main event. So we get the year off, you know, the year pay off, if you will, the next year at the next survivor's yours. It's one of those things where I don't know if that is the right direction. You know what I mean? If Rikishi was the guy that did you know that? Yeah, yeah, man. You know again, bro, a lot of this stuff is off his favorites. And I know Rikishi was an office favorite. You know that that's what a lot of this stuff comes down to, man. Look at freaking Sami Zayn. Look at the spot Sami Zayn's in. They like him. I mean, I mean, a lot of it comes down to that, you know? Who would you have as the guy? People for some reason, even though he technically wasn't a devil, if you have people who are like, oh, should have been Taz. And that would have been a big push for Taz. Oh, people, some people actually like Rikishi was kind of weird, but would you think who should have been the driver? If not as a Rikishi. Bro, if Vince, what if Vince was a baby face at the time, I would have made the driver events. That's why we lost to McMahon.
Absolutely. Yeah. You don't think it was played out at that point? I don't know because I don't know what they did after I left, really. You know what I mean? I just like how did he how did he turn baby face? Basically because of triple H. Basically, so he's, you know, so remember when he lost the contract, the WF contract, whatever he's supposed to be gone, Boston, B Tim and Shane or whatever and did, you know, he's supposed to be gone and technically from WF. Well, I guess Austin technically beat Undertaker and that kind of that, that let's end the end of the era there. Shane and Vince beat Austin by a chicane, or he then the next month Undertaker versus Austin, Austin beats Undertaker and Devonero, so Vince is gone. When Vince comes back, he basically, it's like loves Austin. You know, he should get a title shot and like, you know what I mean? It just like naturally happened because I think he ran its course with Austin McMahon just as far as him being a heel. Okay, got it. So you would have had Vince be the driver, because that doesn't sound like it makes much sense to me,
but I didn't see it, so I can't say it. But let's say Austin is healthy. Austin rock triple H, do you still have triple H go over in the main event? Do you have him continue on his champion? Or would you have Austin when the title here? Bro, that early on in his title reign, if you want to get him over, he's got to go over. He's got to go over triple H. So then obviously that's going to change the main event. We don't know who's going to be in the main event. So there's a little teaser there, but there will be a triple threat match main event. So then we have another survivor series elimination match. It's too cool, Grandmaster Sexy and Scotty Tuhati and the Hollys. Hardcore and Crash Hollys versus Edgerton Christian and the Hardy Boys with Terry Ramos. The survivor of this match, one man, Hardcore Hollys. Match goes 14 minutes and 30 seconds. So long match here as far as this Hollys. Again, though, this is just another traditional tag team match, man. I'm not a fan of this at all. Almost like to just throw on guys on just to get them on the show here.
Yeah, probably. It's one of the big four back then and they want to give the guys a payday. That's what it sounds like to me. When you're looking at that, though, is it like creatively? Couldn't you have thought of something different for these guys? Would you have the survivor series? I definitely could have. I mean, there's no question about that. You know, if you're going to have one traditional match with four tag teams and make it one, don't make it two. This is two now that is just a traditional eight man tag, really. Weird though, when you look at like doing that, because it just comes off as it's like, okay, Holly wins, but nobody cares because it's just not. It's not something creatively. It's going to put a storyline forward to me anyway. It just seems like kind of like, eh. There's a lot of there's a lot of nobody cares who wins today. That's that's a big problem they have. And there's a lot of that. Al snow, by the way, was married to Cynthia Lynch.
She was once one of Godfather's hosts. And married several times though. And he was married to a wrestler too though, bro. Yes, Cynthia Lynch. Her gimmick was Bobcat. Okay, that's where I'm getting confused. Yes, BB looks like Bobcat a little bit of beauty. I got it. I got it. If people get what I'm throwing down there, the blonde with the big boobs, I mean, obviously that's kind of the look, I guess. You know, that you would say that they look similar. But yeah, BB was once married to Harcoholly. Bobcat. Yeah, Al snow. They divorced in 2016. But still, I would bring that up to Alan talk to him about it. Yeah, because I think I think I think Al's current wife is his third wife, I believe. Yes, what's up with that? What's up with Ali? I got to ask him about that. Yeah, you got to you got to grill it because there's a guy here that's been married for God knows how many years. What is three years yesterday? Yesterday, 43 years. Wow, congrats. Awesome. Yesterday, yeah, thank you. Thank you. How have you done it? That's pretty remarkable there.
You don't fight, bro. You just don't fight, you know, really? That's the advice. Yeah. All right. Yeah. Do you let her just get away with stuff? Is that what you're going on? In one year and out the other. I could have, I have to practice that. Oh, yeah, definitely, bro. Yeah. Because I'll go play to my mom, but my wife or whatever. She's like, oh, you get you get a degree and blah blah blah. I'm like, I'm not agreeing. I'm not in one year and out the other. That's it. Look at this solid marriage advice here. Absolutely. What a three years, man. Yeah. Wow. That's pretty crazy. Yeah. So you got married when you were 22, 23, 22, man, young. Yeah, very young. Yeah. Three kids, is it? Yeah. Three kids. Yeah. Nice. All right. So then Shane McMahon is backstage saying it's don't go to Steve Austin. Did not lose consciousness, but he did suffer severe head neck and back neck. Yeah. If I pay for this, I got a problem with this. I'm not saying anything anti WWE at all. I'm saying fan. You know, because bro, they were not cheap back then. I mean, how much of pay per views now at this point? Still 50 bucks?
Probably 30. But I don't know. Yeah. And then I'm going to tell you if I paid for this, I got a problem with this. I'm I'm not saying anything anti WWE at all. I'm saying fan. You know, if because bro, they were not cheap back then. How much of pay per views now at this point, still 50 bucks? Probably 30. 99. Yeah. No, I'm a man. If I paid for this, I'm not happy. So I want I can't wait to find out who to replace minutes. I remember my buddy, he used to order all the double bet. I would order the WCW because obviously my dad didn't want us. You know, spending a million dollars on freaking cable bill. I'm sorry. Paper view. But my buddy got it. And his dad was like huge Steve Austin fan. I remember he's like, he's like, we ordered a show. We thought Austin was in the main event because I literally vividly, there's this 26 years ago. And I remember like being pissed because I'm like, yeah, they knew Austin wasn't going to be on the show. They kind of served us. Absolutely. I don't like that at all. A lot of people I used to laugh all the time. You know, John, when I would get accused for the bait and switch.
And it was on like raw. Yeah. I'm like, this is free TV you freaking idiots. You know, I said, this is different though. Paper view is completely different. I don't like that at all because you paid. Let's say, oh, you still got a full show. You still got a paper view. No, no, no, no. We paid because we thought Stone Cold was in the main event. If he's not in the main event, would we have ordered it anyway? Or maybe good, good percentage, but not 100% likely. He was the main reason we wanted to watch the show. I definitely agree. Yep. So to be honest, when he's gone for 11 months and I know that they continued on and they, you know, they bring a bit wide. And Eddie and all other stuff. And they still get good ratings. I just feel like it creatively. I think it's going to be a lot of work. It's going to be a lot of work and we're just going to buy that stuff. And they still get good ratings. I just feel like it creatively sucked. And I was not interested in rock versus triple-H Every other freaking month. It was just like it fell off a cliff with that Austin. I got on the screen. He was theglue. Big, yes. Absolutely big, big piece to lose. Yes. That would be like in the Golden Era, the Hogan Era, the losing Hogan. It would be like, I mean, it's tough, it has to be like, it would have sucked. It wouldn't have meant as good. No. No.
So no Austin. For awhile. Undertaker has even heard here too. So Undertaker is not on the show. I mean, they're really hurting for Star Power. So they really got to try to make a new star like ASAP. And meanwhile, they have been trying to be Jericho. Yes. And the crazy thing with China and Jericho, the feud goes on for like three or four months. Like it's like a never ending thing. So it was like, they're really kind of given Jericho like the business. That's exactly what they're doing. Bro, I hate that petty stuff. I hated, hated, hated. Jericho though, to his credit. I remember even at the time, never said anything negative. He was like, oh, no, no, this is what they got me doing. Yeah, yeah, this is great. Like, yeah, he tried to make it work. Yeah, yeah, good for him. Then we have the new age outlaws versus AlSnow and Mankind for the WWE F Tag team championships. Billy Gunn and the Brodog, new age outlaws defeat AlSnow and Mankind, of course with the head. He was there as well in 14 minutes.
So another couple long matches here. Yeah. And winner is a via pinfall, the outlaws. Just kind of weird here with Al and Mankind. It felt like they were really trying to give Al a bit of a push here. You could tell Foley's still injured. Like he was not the same. He's definitely brought back too soon. Because you remember, SummerSlam, they brought him back too soon for injury. But they're like, hey, man, we have no undertake or we have no loss. And like they just keep him going because you need the star power. You got to go. Yeah. Yeah. What do you think about AlSnow and Mankind as a team? I mean, that's interesting because they got the long history of ribbon each other. You know, so that's kind of like a little inside joke. But, man, so 3, 14 minute matches in a row, after a lot of short matches at the beginning. Interesting. Very interesting. Do you like the way it's structured as far as that? Well, what's next, the main event? Yes. Not really. Not really. I would have...
Wow. So they had an eight man meaningless tag team match before this. I would have put the Val, I would have put the Valvenous match before this. That's what I would have put before this. But it's kind of like, I don't know, strange. You have three, 14 minute matches back to back to back. It's strange. Or did you see the Sunday Night's main event? Yeah. That lineup was strange, bro. It almost felt like a house show. It's... You're supposed to build the card. That's what you're supposed to do. You're supposed to build the card, crescendo it. And they had Boba and then the girls. And then the main event, it was... Yeah. Kabuki-ish, bro. Maybe because they were having read come in and beat them up and they were going to be a non-finish and then they wanted to do the woman's match. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know where you're going, bro. So then the third man of the match is announced. It is the big show to a Tippett reaction.
Triple H is making angry faces. He sells it like it's horrible. Sell it like this is terrible news. Big show basically has been in the WFBF for less than a year. He debuted in February of the night. So less than a year. He's kind of been a heel most of the time. So is that the reason for the Tippett reaction? Or is because you're not getting Steve Austin and everyone's... You're not getting Steve Austin. You're not going to replace Steve Austin. Well this will explain why shows match was a minute. You know what I mean? But you're not going to replace. What are you going to pop for big show instead of Steve Austin? It is just one of those things where... I don't know if anybody would have worked. You know what I mean? Yeah. Yeah. I agree with that definitely. Yeah. Unless you're pregnant. I'll never forget, bro. I'll never forget because I wasn't booking yet. But I was like there and I'm like, are you freaking guys? Can we didn't ace substitute Savio Vega for Austin once? No. For Sean Michaels against Austin. Oh, yes.
I'll never forget that. I'll never forget them trying to convince themselves what a great idea that was. And I'm like, are you freaking kidding me, bro? That's the shit. And it created you to me and my friends were like, wow, Sid Vicious is going to be back. That's who's going to replace Michaels. Yes, it's going to be Sid. Like we're thinking of these huge names and they're like, Savio, he's already on the roster. What the hell is that? Bro, that's the wrestling bubble that Savio's a good little hand, and that was horrible, man. Horrible. I see what they're trying to do with the big show here. And you can see him destroying everybody earlier, only wrestling minute because he's going to have to wrestle again, but I could see what they're doing. They're trying to give Big Show this big push and create the next star because they don't have the big, baby face Steve Austin. More undertakers, and mankind is wrestling, but he's really hurt. And you had still a triple H are trying to push, but like I could kind of see what they're doing with Big Show. It just, it didn't work as far as this, like the crowd wasn't into it. Yeah, yeah, yeah. So then we have Big Show, Triple H, the rock, Triple Threat match, WWE F championship, a lot of interference, ton of interference,
Vince's back, and this time he's going to kind of screw Triple H. The big show is your new WWE F heavyweight champion in 16 minutes and 16 seconds. What do you think about the big show becoming WWE F champion? What was the reaction? They were kind of happy Triple H lost. I think that was the thing, but I don't think they were happy that Big Show won. Like it wasn't like a, you know, like a monumentous thing or anything. I mean, bro, the big show was kind of never really over over. You know what I mean? He was over because he was a size and he was a freaking nature and he could do a lot of great things, but he was never really over over for whatever. You know, I mean, there was really, man, you know, bro, he wore the black singlet. You know, it's like, it was almost like very, very generic. There was really no character to him. Other than he was a giant. You know what I mean, man? He never really, really got over, especially in the WWE, man.
It's so interesting because WCW, when he was a giant, I feel like they booked him way better. He was like a vicious monster. Like he just was book better. WWE F was like up and down, he'll turn face turn, he'll turn face turn. When he initially debut match was against Austin, you figure like, okay, he's probably going to go over Austin, beat him, but it's first match. So it's like, okay, I guess I'm not giving this guy anything. Or at least you build up Austin versus big show to the next year. Like you build it up. And that's got a lot to do with it too. They don't understand that, man. They beat a lot of guys even today. And I don't think they realize how much it hurts them. People don't forget that. Look at Goonther now. The people that you had Goonther, well, once Sammy Zane beat him and then J.U. So beat him, he met nothing, bro. It is crazy that they do that. And I feel like they do it to humble them. Oh, big shows of WWE guy, let's humble them. Let's see how he reacts. Let's do it stuff like that. That's exactly it, bro. And it's stupid and petty and it hurts them.
I almost think that's why Oba Femi lost to Lesnar that was match. It's like, let's see how he reacts. That stupid old school type of thing. I hate that. I hate that, bro. It's such a f*****. Triple H thing, yeah. Yep. So basically, now if you look at it, the story here, Vince screwed out a guy three years in a row in Survivor Series. That's like the storyline. So Vince Teckley, Chris Triple H here, helps Big Show win. The year before he screwed mankind helped the Rock win. And then in real life, screwed Bret Hart for Charles Michaels to win. 97, 99, 99, three screw jobs in a row. That's like the all-encompassing story here. So do you like the title going on Big Show here as your next star? Well, bro, it sounds like like exactly you said. Austin's her takers hurt and mix not 100%. It sounds like they're going to try to shove Big Show down your throat. And we always know what happens when they try to do that, bro. And then they do a storyline with his dad dying. So they're trying to get sympathy for him, even though he's a monster. He's a big guy.
Do you like him doing a double duty on paper? Do you think that's good? Do you think that's a way of getting a guy over? Bro, again, nobody was going to replace Austin. Who else were you going to put in that spot? Yeah, I don't have a problem with that at all. But the problem was that nobody was going to replace Austin, you know? Yeah. Do you like the fact that Vince is a baby face Triple H is a heel and he screwed the heel like that type of thing? Is it kind of too lazy a little backwards? Yeah, it is a little backwards, bro, but but I don't mind that. You know, I don't mind if that happens once in a while, just to shake things up. I don't mind if it happens all the time, you've got a problem. But if it happens once in a while, I don't have a problem with that. So here we go. Big show is now the WWE champion. And obviously he's going to continue on his future. But the rock is kind of you'll still be there. So that's WF at 1999 here as the vibris here comes to close. Man, what a huge down for me like thumbs down just as far as like it wasn't really. I mean, even good matches in the show. But Steve Austin is hurt and we don't know how long he's going to be out for.
Then we find out he's out for 11 months. Man, that was like a gut punch as far as like a wrestling fan. He was the guy. I mean, that's the reason you don't watch. You watch every subject, but the reason you're flipping the channel is like, I want to see what Steve Austin is doing. And that's the thing too, man. If they would have just let us go with WCW. I brought what I didn't even know Austin was hurt. Like if they would have if they would have let us go with with them not having Austin. Oh God, bro, who knows that is like momentum handed to you guys. And absolutely. Yeah, absolutely. All right. So let's wrap up. Follow me on Twitter and Instagram at two man power trip. Happy events.
