Pop Culture Remix Review: Kid Crew

0:00Normally, you do not want seven-year-old children fixing your toilet, but you might make an exception for the star of the YouTube channel Kid Crew. Okay, so the kid isn't really dealing with wax rings and septic issues, but he, with a lot of help from his mom and dad, does a pretty good job of taking real-world issues and bringing them down to a kid's eye level. The kid might deal with potholes, kitchen fires, and even getting lost in the woods. He saves his always-empariled mother before turning the show over to his very handy dad, who will give some practical sciencey tips that even adults in the audience can use. It's fun, educational, and for children, empowering. Your own kiddos don't need to know how to mix concrete, yet. But you never know.
