About this episode

Pitcher Pedro Avila, returning from Japan, was released by the Cleveland Guardians despite solid spring training stats. The team, with a crowded roster, is reshaping their relief corps, trimming pitchers and favoring younger talent. Erik Sabrowski and Shawn Armstrong will handle setup duties, with Cade Smith closing games, signaling a fresh start for the bullpen.
