Patriots Move Veterans for New Blood | NFL News

The Patriots are shaking up their roster ahead of the season, snagging tight end Cameron Latu and linebacker Darius Muasau via waivers—while cutting two veteran players, injured center Ben Brown and solid tackler K.J. Britt, both now free agents. Brown, 28, missed all preseason practices with a lingering injury, while Britt, 27, brings over 100 career tackles and experience with Tampa Bay and Miami. With the regular season just around the corner, these moves signal the team’s active roster tuning as they build toward September’s opener.
