He honored Holtz by texting his phone a personal message of thanks, a ritual he uses for those who've passed. Meanwhile, pitcher Quinn Priester is heading to a specialist in Dallas for ongoing right wrist soreness that's lingered since last August. The team now expects him back in April after offseason rest didn't fully resolve it.
