One Win Away For The Canes | Morning Cuppa Hockey

Season 3 Episode 147 of Morning Cuppa Hockey is LIVE with your host Jonny Lazarus and former NHL defenceman Colby Cohen, and the Stanley Cup is officially one win away from being hoisted after Carolina's massive 4-2 Game 5 victory in Raleigh.

The Hurricanes now lead 3-2 with a chance to close it out in Vegas on Sunday, and the guys break it all down with a stacked lineup. Former NHL defenceman Mathieu Schneider joins the show to dig into Game 5, Brandon Bussi's incredible emergence, and what Carolina needs to do to finish the job on the road, plus his thoughts on the Mike Babcock investigation given his own history playing under Babcock in Detroit.

Then NHL.com's Dan Rosen, who's been on the ground all series, gives an inside look at the mood in both locker rooms heading into a potential Cup-clinching Game 6.

Finally, James van Riemsdyk stops by to talk Cup Final, his own Babcock connection in Toronto, and what it's like suiting up alongside Dylan Larkin in Detroit as trade rumours swirl around his teammate. Don't miss a second of the daily hockey talk!
