Scooter's, this man, he's just, he actually went to the media because he was, I guess, concerned about how many E. Scooter crashes there are at the moment. And I guess didn't want to have happened what happened to him. What happened to him? Because of West Coast Mum, she wants helmets for E. Scooters to be mandatory. And this is why he went, yes, I agree with you. Because what happened to me? So he, he said his mouth was shattered into dust and an E. Scooter crash two years ago. He crashed, he was wearing a helmet, but didn't have the chin strap on.

3:04So his jaw took quite a, the impact resulted in extensive facial injuries, five broken ribs, broken elbow, major lacerations to both hands. Down to the tendons, he's got six metal plates in his jaw, prosthetic teeth, nerve damage. He's lost his smell. He can't smell anymore. He's lost that. He's got COVID. And he's also had a bone graft to reconstruct the roof of his mouth as well. Oh my God. Holy Hicca, come at E. Scooter crash. He's got a crash. He's had so much trauma pain. And I can't even ask so much pain. So those, those E. Scooters, the one that he's on, isn't the one you'd see like the Lyme or the Flamingos if you're in some of the cities. They're like, these are the new ones that come in that are just unregulated. Go. Can they go fast? They can go fast. You could still, but you could do that damage on those ones. 100%. This is a couple of years ago. Malsa, I don't know whether they were around there. Yeah. 2024 this happened. Yeah, I think they were, but yeah, you're right, Bryce. You can do all those ones.

4:04You get it horribly wrong. Why is this significant injury so? The jaw is dust. Dusty is mouth jaw dust. So I guess he's still feeling the effects of this as well. So much pain. Come swallow food, obviously. I've got a couple of mates who in that, you can tell in their ways to their jaws, we can move through this. You've got a couple of moves to all mates. What's going on? Yeah, that's that's a good way to do it. You just open up. It's the bottom jaw. It's so obvious. Like at some sort of like, you know, a ventralic was. Is someone's just moving the bottom jaw? I got to do speed limit around the school, which is great. But all these parents, it's essential city schools. So they're picking their kids up on scooters and bringing them home. So they're doubling up with the kids fine. But neither of them, at all parent or kid, I wear an helmet. No. And they're not going. They're not going particularly fast, but it doesn't matter. Like you've got to wear a helmet for safety. But B, sit, sit an example. Yeah, no. Just go, what? Tell me how to live, man. Responsible, Miles. Well, no, because I'm a parent, I know that I don't want to have to like spoon feed my kid. No, I know. Liquid food for the rest of his life. So if you come to us. 8:07Like a speed wobble. So like that started to kick. And then went over the handlebars. Oh, now let's freeze right at that point. You're going over the handlebars. We're talking about going as fast as one of those can go down a hill. Yeah, this is top speed. This is definitely like, I'd say closer to 50k. Like let's go to that point. You're going over here or over the handlebars. Are you conscious of that at the time? Like, uh oh. I didn't lose consciousness at all. Which a lot of people thought like, okay. He's had his face. He's definitely going to, you know, blackout at some point. So we went first and then went on three. I remember face. It was like chin teeth. Knows forehead. So it's 50k of the brunt. Your chin teeth. Knows forehead took V-brunt. It clapped over. So what have they done there? They've done a little bit of dental repair work. I mean, it's just a lose. I lost half of my front right. And then like caps on the ones next to them. Okay. So you lost all injured or smashed three teeth. That mean chin nose. What? Chin teeth. Chin teeth nose. Did you break your nose? Broken nose, yeah. I felt three stories down the center of the stairs landed standing up, dislocated both ankles and knees, broke both femurs and both hips and pelvis.

22:25Well, it was certainly far from an ideal night for this 17-year-old boy. His prize BMW ending up in the Dreamcare at Narrowbein-Lagoon. But the boy was quick to try and make amends. It happened just after 6 pm, the boy accidentally rolling the car off the boat ramp the car safely, but with police, fireies and a tow truck on scene, it was the boy himself who got kidded up with the help of emergency services and jumped back into the water, waiting out to the car, hooking it up and steering it to sure as it was dragged in. It looked pretty serious. There were a lot of cops there and paramedics were there and yeah, you see a car in the water. You know, you can only assume the worst. It's not exactly clear how the boy lost control of the car whether or not the handbrake failed, but witnesses say he had been trying to position the BMW to snap photos of it with the look in the background. Oh. It's over to my right and this guy looked like he didn't pull the handbrake properly, so ended up in the drink.

23:26So with the teen cleaning up his own mess, emergency services really had very little to do. The bad news though, that car is almost certainly a ride-off. A taking photos. Yeah. Next to the ligand. For your profile pic. Maybe trying to sell up. Yeah, no. Oh boy. He did pull a pic of it. He did up in the drink. Oh, I'll get it. That's a good one. And this one, Aussie Mum and her kids, she's just walking in a car park and she gets hit by a car. Another one, have a listen. Children buy her side a Sunday family shopping trip takes a day off. And a family shopping trip takes a terrifying turn. Next thing I know, I'm on the ground screaming. A black Toyota Viers across the centre line outside Logan City Centre just before four o'clock yesterday afternoon, hitting one eater Skinner and grazing her two children, watching as their mother falls to the ground, clutching her foot. Still winsing in pain as the

24:26paramedics arrive. She dispersed into tears on the lady's shoulder because she didn't really know what had happened to her. She's been in the same footage from her bed in Logan Hospital. One eater says she's struggling to recall every detail, but is thankful her children escaped the full impact. It's pretty scary to think that it could have been while the kids. Her injuries are severe, twin fractures in her leg and ankle of wiring surgery. The local school teacher now staring down months off work. Which then means once I do the surgery, it's a minimum of six to eight weeks. I guess this is what can happen if you're driving too fast or not paying attention. Well, hang on, what have been in the person who ran her over? She didn't take off. She stopped and then waited until emergency services got there. And according to her, the man got back in the car and took off. And they haven't contacted her. No. Oh, dog, mate. Quite question, mate. Yeah, just to you.

Her name is Holly Riven. Is that right, Ysselingard? And she was struck in the head by another jumpers leg at approximately 12,000 feet when she was parachuting with Chinoctaeron Consciutto. It's remarkable she lived to tell the tells her. She was trying to make her jump from the back. remarkable she lived to tell the tale so she's a 35 year old she was skydiving

26:28when a mid-air collision happened. So we'll get to her in juries obviously but she's on break for television talking about it have a look. We did three jumps they were really good it was a great day and then yeah fourth jump yeah that happened. One of your fellows go that I was tried to reach you didn't make because they could see that you were struggling. Yeah so he saw that I'd been sort of knocks that we'd collided and then realised that I'd kind of tumbled past and wanted to check that I was okay so he chased me down. Do you remember anything about it at all or was it just from that moment and I know it was just a terrible accident wrong place wrong time essentially but when when you bumped in collided with the other jumper did you automatically just go straight under? Yeah it was instant I just it just went black I don't even kind of remember maybe even like not you remember leaving the plane. No and then I just was dreaming of falling it was just really surreal I just thought I'm falling and I'm dreaming about falling it was really

27:31like kind of peaceful but then I kind of felt like I was a bit unstable and then in my kind of mind of thinking back to my like training I was thinking right if I'm falling and I'm unstable I should be arching and trying to reach my parachute and obviously that's you can see in the clip that's what's kind of happening but I was out I was I wasn't asleep so. Something Mark what happened about 1,000 feet I mean you're getting very close to the ground and even in that state that sort of dream state the sort of semi-conscious state that you're in you had the sort of the instinct to deploy your parachute so I yeah so I deployed my main parachute somehow but I was still falling too fast and my emergency device my AAD kind of kicked in and threw my reserve out as well which kind of saved my life really. So unbelievable the shoot did open but it was too late and she fractured a spine broke who left leg severe bruising and that was a month ago just a month ago. Yeah all gets even that happened. Right yeah. No way. Did he get on breakfast in there? That's incredible man

Further as you fall and that survived because we talked to a guy six years ago called Brad, tandem skydive and he survived it. Landed in a golf course. Have a listen. And I hit the ground and I just remember we kind of bounced like if we ricocheted from this area of a golf course. I'm more semi submerged in this. I'm gassing for air because my ribs are cracked and I just cannot breathe. I'm so shocked and it feels like someone's ripped my spine out of my body. I'm just going to do this ridiculous amount of pain. Also, harness to my instructor bill. At that point, I saw it cool. I've become a paraplegic and I've just killed this guy and laying on top of a dead body.

32:48I couldn't feel any part of my body. I was sitting so much pain. At that point, I'm just hysterically crying. I'm screaming. Bill comes to and he's screaming in agony. It was just a state of utter confusion. So, Brad, when you hit the ground, you broke your upper spine, fractured your last spine. You tore some lewins in your neck. You cracked several ribs, but you can walk, can you? Yeah, I can walk. I kind of, I've kind of, I've explained it to people by saying that I've kind of got the bloody of an old man these days. I'm only 25, but just through my injuries, there's a lot of things that I can't do and I'm pretty limited. I wish I could go back to some activities. But for me, the silver lining is that I can live a pretty full life. It's taken a lot of bloods with my tears and here I am living and talking about it. Well, it doesn't need to clap now. It's six years. I don't know how to clap. I like it as a recording. Now it's pretty much laughing the whole way. Because you were doing weird things. Yeah, that was quite funny actually. So we fast forwarded a couple of days. We were down and real pay you the cruise off walking the pongadillo crossing. Shit, pounded a day. We'll get hit up. We'll go hit up. Fuck a puffer. So I slick up up all the fucking puffer for a day. Snowboarding. Yeah. And the fall rolled in my don't really don't really know the mountain too well and went up the our west side T-bo that called away up the west there and snowboarding along and doing some cool turns and stuff. And then can I just interrupt just quickly? He run knows where this is going.

35:59So I see a sign just out the corner. Oh, I wonder what that sign was. Oh, I don't really know. They don't know. No, no, no, I'm going the neck minute. I'm just just falling. It's funny. Felt for at least. It was a good second to second. And then somehow, oh, well, did the old seagull somehow landed it? Right down a little bit. Then eventually fell over and as I fell over I put my arm out to stabilize myself that same arm and pulled the shoulder right out of its socket dislocated it. And yeah, oh, that bloody where I heard. I sit down there contemplating life and then some people come up to me. There's three skiers out there. Are you okay? Are you okay? Are you okay? I'm a thing of a right. Yeah, just the thing I just dislocated my shoulder. And you're like, yeah, no, we can see you've dislocated your shoulder three jacket. Do you want us to call Schiebertroll? No, no, it's foggy here.
