DISCLAIMER: Producer Creech here, the recording is missing all of the backing tracks so you can't hear our intro or The Chain when I play bass to it hahahaha sorry it sounds weird but I still wanted to upload it because the chat with Mitch about his weight loss journey and mental health was awesome and important!! (And then some funny tab chat at the end too) Enjoy!!

Oh boy, here we go. Thursday, 8th of October, get a Bryce Mills. Mona and Creech. Mona, 8th of October. And this is called the Not for Max. Max is my nephew for those who don't know. And he was listening to the podcast and he shouldn't have been in my place. Crook shit. And this always actually just a rumor. Oh, we're warning should I say, we should put it in a warning within a warning. Like when we have that intro, we should say the team we're about to potentially talk crook stuff that is unlike the show. Yeah, either don't listen.

Yeah, do feel like sometimes because even Sharon's mom, Mary Ellen, loveliest lady in the world. You know Mary Ellen. Oh, yes. Well, you're the sweetest of heart. But just overnight and some sugar. Oh, I caught up on your podcast the other day. Yeah. Yeah. Oh, Mary Ellen, you can't listen to the great stuff. Spek, we're specfully this part is a few showers. Yeah. Love that you love. Yeah, yeah, yeah. You just think people might not know. Yeah, yeah. The point of that, Ched, is it's because it's not for Max. Yeah. Selling fire jumps in and listen to sometimes. So you're like, oh, she can't listen to that. Oh, no. No, no. Could she find out stuff about you, merch? Oh, no. Shut it off, mum. Yeah, yeah, yeah. And Max is life's son. Yeah. Brother. Slopes birthday. Oh, happy birthday, love. Happy birthday, love. Happy birthday, love. In love. She is a birthday with my mother. Oh, it's my mum's birthday too. Would your mum ever listen to this? No, she doesn't listen to this. Yeah, go ahead. Yeah, her name's so great.

She doesn't listen to the rock. Nah. No, no. Oh, that's all right. No, it's real sad. I get in my parents' car and like the breeze, the pleasant. Yeah, yeah, yeah, my mum loves coast. Oh, OK. Yeah, yeah, yeah. She used to work in radio. I think she's just over it. Your mum? Yeah. Yeah. What are the presets on your mum's car? It's a very good question. I think she's got a lot of the other stations from across the road. Yeah, all that's where she worked. So she's got like, I think it hits. And I think she'd have more of them to be honest. Oh, yeah. Which is in our stable. Couple R&D podcasts on bad life and Northern Wellington region. She's near Zalandia. Oh, yeah, yeah. Right place. She's got a Moses car last week and the breeze was on. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Which I would be honest. I would be honest. I would be honest. To be honest, the breeze. Come on, even listen to the sound. Oh, they're at as well. Getting ready for a ride. I'm going to put us back in feet up here. Going to big long sweeps of songs. Yeah. I was just even knowing what happened this year.

When this song came out. Yeah. How did Bowie meet Mercury? You're basically Alice Cooper. He's under pressure. Are you going to put on black eye makeup as well, Roger? Like, let's go. Yeah, that was pretty cool. Oh, true, actually. Yeah, true. Black and white stripes. Yeah. No, you're right, actually. Yeah. It'll stalled Tucker amount though. Yeah. We have a big chat with some facts. Go into it. School's out. Cooper. Yeah. Yeah. You know, we're singing his headphones. I'll come off and you go. Yeah. It was awesome. Yeah. I need a coffee. Yeah, I'm doing a great, what's your name? Mignon. Give me a coffee. Underling. Yeah, just give me a coffee. Yeah, we give the Alice poop at. And I'll tell you what. I know a great show, great podcast. Dear, I say, oh my god, tomorrow is going to be mon-y now. Look at what I'm having. Because much, you a lot rides on you and your base performance. Been a big week. You've been learning the bikes. Yeah.

I have enjoyed it. It's, you know, learning new skills. Maybe not new skills. Re-discovering your talents. Yeah. My hands have been feeling it the most to be honest. I see. I would have thought you would have call us up hands with the gym. Well, can I say two? Oh, yeah. Yeah. You know, we're going to be much grief this week with the base, because it's been fun. Because of his overconfidence. Of course. It's one of his great traits over confidence under delivering, which makes some of the character he is. But a quick, well done. I saw on your Insty last night. 13 P-Lots down. That's unbelievable. Yeah. I love that. You've been on the grinds. I have been. What have you been doing? I was listening. I want to know. That's a lot of weight, bro. So it's been, I've been doing it for about five months. Yeah. That's good, mate. 13 KG in five months. It's actually started with the running of the bulls-chat. I was going to go over to Spain to run with the bulls. I thought, yeah, because there was nothing you were going to do. You were going to do it. You're mum to the bull. Get a one of Shanna. And I was like, I don't know if I could run the whole distance away from the bulls. I don't know if I could back myself to sprint it. So I started running then in preparation.

In case I ended up over there. Yeah. And just keep going with it from there. And yeah, I've been loving it. Like, lots of strength training each week. I haven't been doing a heap of cardio, which has been like, I think was what's kept me going on it. I haven't been dreading going and doing cardio. I've just been able to do the weights and the mixing and the cardio. What do you do? Four weight sessions a week and cardio? Five? Five, yeah. I didn't start with five, obviously. Like you're building up doing it. Yeah. Uh, billboard strength and get used to going to the gym a bit more. But no, it's been real good. But mostly I'd say for the upstairs, it's been real good. No, it's been like, yeah, just, we talked about a little bit. Uh, maybe a month or go. Like, shit was just going wrong. Nothing was going right. But I think if I hadn't been in the same space with the gymming and stuff that I am now, I would have struggled through that so much more. That would have been bad. But having the gym is like something that each day I could go, I nailed that. Like, I went into that and I nailed it. Exactly what John Colman's talking about.

Yeah, yeah, 100% and it's just, even just having that one thing where you can finish the day and go, well, at least I nailed that. I mean, so got that done. Good job, bro. Also though, you feel good after you've done it. Absolutely. I never regret it when you've done it. So I sometimes get just walking in there. Sometimes I'll sit in my car and have a scroll, honestly, fly quarter of an hour. I'm still going to go in, but I'm still just going and going. And then I'll go open the door, get out, go in. And then you go in and you love it. And when you're done, you always, always feel better. And then actually, you're in dolphins are up. Getting in the doors, always the hardest part. Yeah. 13 kilos down there. It's great. Now for those, you're 25. Look, there's probably him, who's been wanting to lose weight or whatever. How do you lose 13 kilos? That's a lot. Yeah. For me, I honestly just started by counting calories, not by cutting anything out at all to start with. Just literally keeping track and having an idea of actually how much you're eating each day and how much it actually is. Because you don't realise half of what you eat each day.

So as soon as you start writing it down and actually thinking about it, you go, oh, maybe I don't need that. Because there's obviously a amount of calories you're supposed to have for your height and age. Oh, yeah. And it might be like to maintain weight you'd have 2,200 calories, for example. Okay. If you want to lose weight, they'd go aim for 1800 calories a day. Sure. For example. And then you just go, okay, fucking eggs and abble on toast is 350 calories. And you just do those additions throughout the day, trying to keep it at 18. Yeah. Am starting the kitchen. Yeah. Is that what they say? They do say Shane Cameron is always here. You can't out train a bad diet. Yeah, yeah. A hundred percent. To be fair, I don't even change the diet to start with. It was just knowing what I was eating, how much exercise I needed to do to balance that out. And then from there, I go, fuck, I don't want to do that much exercise every day. No. Maybe I don't eat this. And then I don't have to do so much there. Yeah. And work out your own diet. You know, like if you do weight centred meal right and you put into Gemini or Cheg, or whatever and you go, I did fucking this workout, put in the pizza, whatever you did.

Yeah, it was 40 minutes of weight centred these exercises. And now I've done 20 minutes on and climb the treadmill. You know how you'll punch that in, you'll say, yeah, age, weight, height. And you'll say you've burned 520 calories. Is that correct? Because does that mean you can take 500 calories off your day's addition? Do you know what I mean? I mean, like, yeah. So you've got 1800 days of goal. Well, if you put it in a thousand calories to that point, am I now back to 500? Well, you put it into my fitness pal, that I would use. And then it would literally do that. It would take those calories you've burned through exercise. Yeah. And you can keep going to your 1800s. Yeah, because you've burned, not only just burning calories by getting up and doing whatever you do through the day, plus the exercise, you're really in deficit. Now, another question, and I know you didn't want me to bring it up, but Roger saying, is having a bunch of masters, doesn't have any calories, does masters want to do it? That's my high intensity of the contrary. Why do you think I'm so skinny, fella?

And I put them into the gym to ask them. Here we go. Does masturbating several times a day help you lose or burn calories? Just checking, does masturbating several times a day? No, masturbating several times a day does not burn enough calories to make any meaningful to the calorie burn, masturbation burns roughly two to five calories per minute. A typical session lasting five to ten minutes, burns around ten to fifteen. Five to ten. Daily comparison, masturbating three times a day might burn thirty to ninety calories in total. Well, that's enough for a chocky-buck. Get a kick out of that. Yeah. That's enough for a little treat. You're earned a treat every way. You're having a wreck. You're having a wreck. You must be burning calories in the bedroom. Oh, always. Oh, gosh, yes. You're there for sure. I was trying to do my own little weightlifting journey as well, but I chose great discipline what you've done, Mitch, because the gym to me is a scary place.

And so I went to K Martin, but one weight. That's what I could just do it in my garage. I just got one singular 8KG dumbbell. It held it going. Oh, well. But you can do a lot with an 8KG dumbbell though. Exactly. I've been doing squats and curls and all sorts of things, but nothing seems to be happening. I think it's because I'm running as well. So that sort of maybe offsets it. Oh, man, that's good if you're doing all that. Yeah, yeah, yeah. How do you see it? The running's really good. And like you were saying, you know, it's just about achieving these goals. Yeah. And what I love about running is that all I just think about is that my next step, you know. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. And for run healthy, you're doing runs. I looked at them once a day. And you're usually aimed for five Ks. Oh, good. Running every day. Yeah. Well, in wide-awesome. Yeah, we're trying to do it. Yeah, it's just before I went to Europe, I ran every day. What are you doing now? Uh, well, since being back from Europe. I let last week slip, because I was just like, I'd finish working going home and sleep. I don't even nap. I'd just sleep. And then wake up at like 7pm and then I'd go back to sleep. Yeah, but that's the, that's the, you listen to your body.

Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Exactly. Bit of jet lag, bit of bender lag. And, but now, yeah, every day, every day, I'm hoping to continue that streak. Oh, good news. Um, but now it's really, really good. Really good for the head. And then you're just wondering, oh, yeah, where am I going to go rather than, you know, thinking about the next, the next thing that might weigh you down, I don't know. Well, you're right. It's been huge week for merch with the weight loss, of course, and the base playing. But why, Creech, do you have the base in your hands? Because it's my, I mentioned before, in the chain, yeah. Yeah, full version. Reddit one. D10 is on for Winnihaw brought you to. A lot of pressure. Creech, can you play the base? Who knew? Who knew? When did you, when, how come you know what to do with the base in your hands? I just, I, I, I, I, I, you still in there. I used to play a little bit in high school. But similarly to you, Matt, we were talking about this, is that, and one of my flatmates is a music teacher and he hates this. But I used to only practice at the lesson. And so, you know, the teacher would be like, oh, I go and practice at home and then come back next week. And I'd come back next week, I haven't had in touch the base.

So, yeah, it's an actually gifted man with a, with a wandering brain. No, you can hear that? Is that on? No, I don't know what. Yeah, I've come around. It should work, it should be working. Yeah. Here's the puck card. Friggin' Mike right down there. Yeah, yeah. Yeah. Do you think we should just go on here? Yeah. Yeah, time of recording. It's playing right now. It's 10.21. Three doors down here without use playing. Well, what a shut up. You ready to crutch? Yes. What a fucking shut up. So, here's Creech unamped. Hmm. Oh. Oh. Perfect. Nice. That's near. That's near. That's perfect. That was actually near perfect. That's near. And you, you went out to your producers booth.

You learnt that in five minutes. Yeah, yeah, just read the, I just know how to read tab. Yeah, yeah, yeah. So, like, you know what, yeah. Yeah. Yeah. And to those who don't know what tab is, yeah. It's rather than showing you where the note is on the, it shows you where to put your fingers. So, it'll be a long slender bass fingers. Yeah, you've got to do it. Yeah. Sure. You've got to do a great fingers. You know what, you know what those are unenvoted. Yeah. We used my hand for the Rock 2000 marketing in 2019. When it was that hand coming out of a grave. Oh, my hand. That was just a cool hand. You got a hand job. Yeah. I did. And there was this one fella that I met at home grown and I met him again at the Rock 2000. I think he's named Dave. But he's like, Craig, you got some skinny girl fingers, right? He's like, he's masculated me about my fingers. And honestly, his one's thick.

Yeah, yeah, man. He's like, like, finger mong. Not to go there. Yeah, finger mong. I, you know, wouldn't want him finding myself. He's the podcast. He ever tell you. What do you remember that? What was the show? Is there actually a shelf like a beach? I believe so. So I've heard. He's the podcast. Good luck tomorrow, mate. Rumours. Which is the name of this album. Oh, boy.
