Odell Beckham Jr. Back With Giants Amid Wealth Debate | NFL News

Odell Beckham Jr. is back on the Giants’ 53-man roster, but his return has ignited controversy after he claimed even $100 million might not build lasting wealth—citing taxes, agents, and luxury costs. Critics call it out of touch, especially since most people never earn that much in a lifetime. Former NFL star Asante Samuel slammed the comments as “ignorant,” hoping Beckham regrets them, while acknowledging his past brilliance and current battle to prove himself again. Samuel also noted Beckham’s hard-fought roster spot this year, contrasting with his former guaranteed stardom, and emphasized his drive to help revive the Giants’ struggling offense. As Beckham eyes his final NFL chapter, the spotlight shines equally on his field performance and off-field remarks.
