I think with Tennessee stable run them back. She got a favor Tennessee big Although the line keeps shrinking if you notice that land and don't Keep the I think that is injuries. That's why Phil Well, and I said this and I'm gonna say it again with nine SEC games I think a lot of teams by the time the playoffs come are gonna be walking wounded Well with a transfer portal nobody has the depth that they used to because I mean you can no longer let players grow behind Veteran starters because if they're not getting playing time They're gonna hit the portal and go somewhere else where they can play immediately and I mean window boys lost for the season this week Shem overall is is Heart and questionable so we'll see what five

Josh Hype old has to protect phase on brand. Yeah, yeah, that's oh, yeah They're really good. This team has had the mentality of next man up Yeah, yeah, they all yeah, but you know with my point about injuries these youngins hit hard This is the SEC and if you're playing an extra game it's It takes a toll on you plus the schedules these guys play it can take a toll on you So I said I think by playing off time everybody's gonna be walking we need we got to protect this young quarterback However, all right is a tremendous to have you on the field show coming up Broadway to Tennessee. We're gonna give you a chance to quantify four season tickets for Broadway at the Tennessee And you'll hear a cue to call to qualify for The deck storage system from Phoenix conversion get decked out with Phoenix and the Philbo get after it ladies and gentlemen Just being there yesterday and being around the

I remember 1976 our troops Went on a truth. We had hostages in Iran hostages and we would tie yellow ribbons around till they came home And then it got to be a thing for support our troops It was trademarked by the Canadian government and truly can only be used legally with their permission

Well care All right fun Abraham Lincoln random Phil Schofund fact. This is number 1111 From a while back Abraham Lincoln did not meet his first vice president Hannibal Hamlin There's a name it rolls off your tongue Hannibal Hamlin until after they were elected Lincoln picked him because Hamlin was from Maine. He helped get votes From the Northeast you went all right, you know what you're gonna be my vice Mm-hmm And this date

1922 the first time the New York Times mentioned Adolf Hitler The article said quote Hitler's anti-Semitism was not so violent or genuine as it sounded Oh You all kind of miss that and then you're Yes, we're gonna miss no kidding You do it eat eat all right coming up. Are you afraid of being yourself in public? Because you don't want to go viral All right, well explain coming up. We got an airwurman more more stupid news look this hour Phil shows on news talk 987 and here's sharing now I thought this was a great song They were Jefferson Starship and this is or Jefferson airplane and this is kind of the transition to the starship Wow, I mean you still had great slick ball canter

1974 Pop a John Creech doing violin yeah Yeah. It's supposedly showed the difference between the Western culture and Eastern culture. I always thought it was a drug reference, but all I know today is about them other tigers coming. We're going to ride that tiger. We're going to ride it, baby. Offensive line is going to play well. Yeah. Faze on Brandon is going to play well. I mean, our defense, you know, is just strong and a pit bull on crack. I started to play.

I got a tiger by the tail by Buck Owens, but maybe we can throw that in there later. Or I of the tiger is another tiger song, isn't it? That's at Silvestre Stallone. He's got that book out now. And you getting a lot of press on the thing. I don't know if it's worth a read or not. I know this. I'm at La Norse City Ford and out here is a, it's kind of a silver white color. It's a convertible Mustang. It's a 2015. It has the EcoBoost Premium. That means pretty much it's got the turbo. Okay. In other words, you kick it. It goes. Mm-hmm. It is 16,794. That's about $1,500 below retail value. Yep. And it's a Mustang and the top comes off. But great, great, great condition so you can drive it in the winter too.

Yeah, I keep thinking about that. Maybe do I want another convertible? I don't go. Here you go. A used 2024 Nissan Altima. 31,000 miles on it. Very stingy on gas at $20,000. At La Norse City Ford. That's, that's no miles on that vehicle. Here's a certified pre-owned 2024 Chrysler Pacifica Touring L with 70,000 miles. It's $20,000. Dang. Huh. You know, more and more, we was talking yesterday at Phoenix Conversion and a few people are starting to get those vans and do things to them and you can of course. All right. The biggest story of the day, of course, the rank incompetence. That's the, I think the, the governor's vernacular and even, well, former police chief

Phil Keith rank incompetence. My wife and I were talking about this and this next guy up for Gary Wayne, somebody. This next guy up for execution. My wife was working at the public defender's office when that happened. That's a, I mean, that's how long they hang onto these people. Like I say, give them life without parole to appeals and that's it. We try to kill this girl. They give her two doses of their stuff. She doesn't die and now how long will she be on life support? Will she ever be normal probably not? And the state's got it. Well, like said, incompetence as a quoted by Phil Keith. It's, yeah, I saw him at spanky general. You know, he was a, he was a good guy. It was a good police chief. He we used to do fun stuff when you could do fun stuff and radio and we would go over and do the, or chill high park and do the course on motorcycles and cars.

I would let it, you know, we just to see how difficult it was when they did their driving schools and stuff over there. These folks are highly trained. They put that Kevlar on every day, respect them, babies, respect them. Okay. Now, everybody has got a camera in their pocket. That does not deter Moorons from acting like Moorons in public. But it has made other people, according to psychologists and the research they've done, it has made other people shy and not want to be filmed. That makes seven percent of people say the possibility of becoming online content has reduced their ability to relax and be themselves in public. Hmm. 31 percent say, I don't show any emotion, no opinion. 30 percent avoid dancing. Landed, if you went to a club, you went somewhere and you were dancing with the years,

Mokin Hat, Figon say, or if you're a wedding reception, you're not going to avoid dancing, are you? Well, I don't dance and it's been... Oh, come on, you have to with her. Come on, you dance. Well, me and my legal team have negotiated a couple dances at the wedding. Okay, very good. And now, 29 percent of people avoid acting silly or telling jokes, thinking they're being videoed. They're afraid. The fear of going viral. Ha, ha, ha, ha. Okay, that is ridiculous. It's stupid. Yeah, just be yourself, y'all. You know, it's kind of... Wait, you're thinking a lot of yourself, if you think, you know, if I did this, I'd go viral on the tiktok. Come on. Yeah. And they said they've avoided social gatherings with friends or bars or not life because they don't want the unwanted viral moment. Ah. Really? You know the thing about it, I...

When I first started in radio, I... I always look hello there, how are you? I was doing them and some guy, and this was not long after, and I'm thanking for that to this day, he said, just be yourself. Be who you are. And there was that fear of like, wait a minute, if I'm myself, there's nobody going to like me. And I've proven that for the last 50 years. Dang it, beat me to it. Well, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, right? Just got out, do that. Oh, Halloween season is begun and East Tennessee. Uh, can I spooky stuff? Movies under the stars tonight at IAMs, it's Carrie. Brew at the zoo is tonight. I haven't been to that in a while. I loved that. The, uh, the brew at the zoo. I like that. You ever been? It's great. Mm-hmm. That is a fun event. Yeah. Of course, obviously the big thing is, uh, Auburn, coming to town, still get tickets, I bet you. I bet you can still get tickets. I don't think there is in demand as Texas.

And certainly with the threat of, uh, rain, I don't think that, um, I don't think that the, the domain will be, uh, as much. All right. Later on, Elon Musk's new iPhone, your chance to win and stupid news. Come on up. It is for two inches that you would play that particular song, uh, Landa Donar producer. Yeah. A little bit of manic mechanic from, yeah, it's easy to, uh, because we're in the North City for it. And out here is a challenger with the Skat Pack. I mean, it's, we're talking, it's not a slow vehicle, okay? We'll just say that.

And, uh, yeah, bolt action and everything. And, uh, I've got four dollars in my pocket and I'm going to see if I can buy that thing. Maybe I can't, but you know what? You never know until you, until you try great pre-owned vehicles under 20 grand, whether it's car trucks SUVs. They got it all here. Little North City Ford. And of course, the new ones got a whole lot of money off and great financing. All of that always transparent pricing. Yeah. At Little North City Ford and they've got a black Bronco over there with the, it's kind of black and cream looking. It's really neat. All right. It's great to have you as we move through Friday morning. It is Auburn. We can Auburn. We can. The war tie giggles the tic, yeah, they're coming. Uh, be courteous. Well, I mean, the war eagles and the tigers, right? I mean, which one are you? Yeah, Auburn.

One or the other. Can't be both. All the, I mean, but they have a, uh, is the mascot like a tiger and then they had, they, they're, they're chant as the war eagles. They have a live eagle that flies. They have a live eagle too. Uh, well, here again, I would just think, you know, uh, I would think that, um, you know, you would, you would do, different, uh, differentiate because don't have a war eagle chant. You don't say that. I think so. They say like war darn eagle, but war the, oh, but they don't say darn. Oh, they say a wordy bird, dirt. Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha. A wordy, dirt bird. I got you a bad word. Oh, man, we don't want that to do it now. I'm not gonna say it. My, my mom might be listening. She could be. Hi, mom. Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha. I love it. All right. Great to have you on the Phil show on News Talk 987. Let us do a wee bit of a stupid news, lie there. Now, oh, there, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom,

boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, we're going to activate these waybacks, machine. Yes, the wayback machine. All right. Dude, and this is neat. We're going to test your memory. And landing, you should be old enough, I think, to remember this. You should be old enough to remember what we're going to talk about. I do remember lime wire. Oh, yeah. I remember lime wire. What did you do with it? For legal reasons, I can't ask you. Yeah, man, come on. It's hot. Yeah. Lime wire was a music sharing service. So here we go, a little nostalgia. Out of the blue this week, lime wire popped up on Instagram threats.

As you remember, it was a peer-to-peer filing sharing service. People used really for pirated music, let's be honest. Allegedly. So, here's what happened. And lime wire reminded, the music industry tried to sue lime wire for $72 trillion back in the day. Which is totally a real number. I started to say, does that number even exist? They might as well just, we're going to sue you for infinity million dollars. While I was more than the GDP. It wouldn't work. So anyway, blast from the past. Map quest came out of the woodwork and replied, oh, yeah, we remember that. Evolved Map quest. Well, they've been in the news here recently. That's true. They still work. Right? I mean, still work. But the recording industry claimed damages of $72 trillion. More than triple the world's annual GDP. But they agreed to a settlement where the company paid 13 record labels about 105 million.

I don't know if they ever paid. But a lot of people love seeing that lime wire and Map quest pop up in their feeds. You know, one of them said, it's kind of like running into a guy you went to high school with. You know, no ill, ill. I'm crossing a street pretending I didn't see you. Yeah. One said you gave my computer an STD. Somebody else said if I repost this, will I get a virus? Yeah, yeah, you always ran into that risk if you played around with lime wire and lime wire. You did. You could get you could get cooties. And here and someone else said, thank you, you all, you helped us all commit felonies. That's the correct. They've been to funk for a while. But somebody under that name has been doing bizarre stuff like buying the rights of that failed fire festival for some reason. I don't know.

Map quest is still around and making some what? Some what have come back. Huh. Okay. Seven up zero sugar. That's in the fridge there at the house and sprite zero sugar. No caffeine, no sugar. Now seven up zero sugar tropical soda. If you got that, I mean, you want to be transported to that tropical island vacation, I'm sure. But in reality, it was a zero sugar rush. However, recalling more than 77,000 cans and bottles, they're labeled zero sugar, but they're actually shocked full of sugar. Some kind of mix up. Now they're saying good. If you're trying to limit your sugar intake, your diabetic, whatever, it ain't good at all. So there's that. I love the sunrise. By the way, I just have to look us all this gorgeous. Beautiful morning.

Go balls. I like a fillet cheesecake and who's got a good fillet cheesecake? Pretty good right now. It's Arbis. Have you tried them? They're good. And they have the meats. Not an endorsement, but it could be. Now, a fillet cheesecake recipe in Pennsylvania looking for a man who threw a cheesecake at an employee's face and then ran off. He threw it. Yeah. Who throws a cheesecake? Have napat king. Pat's king of steaks win streak. And the now here's the this is the stupidest part of this. Workers think the assault could have been done by an influencer or a wannabe because the guy was filming before and during the cheesecake. The worst. I mean, this was like we're talking way down to humanity. They call the police guy got away.

Suspect described as a black male approximately six feet tall, about 170, wearing a blue under armor jacket, black shorts and red beats headphones. That pretty expensive outfit. Pat's king of steaks offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to this guy's arrest. Now the employee who was hit with a cheesecake is fine. He said, quote, I was pretty pissed off. I'm not used to getting a steak thrown in my face. I mean, most people aren't. You know what? If you don't like it, be a little nice for about it. But I'm thinking this isn't, you know, where it is and it's Pat's all of that. That was a great cheesecake. That's got to be great. But the guy complains, oh, this is garbage. Obviously, he's trying to get. Oh, what's the word go far on social. No arrest has been made. The investigation remains ongoing. And a police reviewing footage that may have been posted by the content creator.

He says he reviews restaurants and throws the food and employees if he doesn't like it. Uh-huh. You know, Mama said you got to find your niche in this world. But she also said you've got to have something to fall back on. Coming up a chance to win a chance to win. Phil show is on news talk 987 W. OK, as we're heading to 88 today, a shower, maybe during high school football, but more likely tomorrow during the Tennessee Auburn game. And here's Sherry with traffic now. All right, back at it on the Phil show news talk 987 2004 Ranger on the lot. It's an edge model. It has everything, including a cap on it to keep your wood dry or whatever drive back there. It's at a great price just over 12 grand here at Lenore city for new Broncos, new F-150s,

everything. Full room are Maverick tremor. We need more food in it, more non perishable food items for second harvest food bank as hunger action month. Just came to an end. Yeah, hunger action month. Hey, although we need to feed people all the time now, ladies and gentlemen, it's time now to quantify you. Our telephone number 6562946 will start with the fourth caller to get our streamers time 6562946. Broadway at the Tennessee Broadway at the Tennessee all of these great, great, great presentations, including death, becomeser and sound of music, all of that stuff. Now, here's how you qualify for the season tickets. Answer this question correctly. Broadway, Knoxville, Tennessee, you're driving north toward halls.

You've come out of downtown. You've passed, really, you pass Sharps Ridge entrance, but right there on the right is a place where people used to circle in their cars a lot. They would circle so much that they got busy. They'd spend there a long time. They'd run or run or run or run or run or thing. Oh, it was unreal. Matter of fact, it's a great place for biscuits and gravy and all kinds of stuff. What's the name of the restaurant? Oh, but it's told you to rest, huh? It shut up, Mitch. Mitch is going to get his car looked at. He's over there about half asleep. I don't need that. All right, great to have you. So if you know what that is, 6, 5, 6, 2, 9, 4, 6, starting with the fourth caller. I like doing this. We're just driving it. And that's neat. See, somebody local knew that he knew what it was already. He is not, you know, qualified to win. Tim is on the live line on the Phil show, News Talk 987.

Tim, how you doing? By there. I'm doing good. Tell me how you doing. Funny, I am too blessed to be depressed. I'm just going to tell you it's Friday. And I keep thinking about Auburn and a lot of things. Now, going down Broadway, this is for to qualify for the season tickets. This is well worth what? I'm not quite too grand, but it's worth a lot. Hey, this is for season tickets. You could be the husband of the year if you win these. So what restaurant am I talking about on Broadway? What was the restaurant again? What were you saying about it? I'm just going to call it in. You're driving north on Broadway, not so. You've passed Sharps Ridge and over to the right, there's a rest that people used to cruise a lot back in the day. Oh, I'm a transplant. Still be a lot of people. I think cracker barrel. No, not on Broadway. All right. Tim, thank you very much. All right, let's go to John now on the live line. Oh, man. But at live and local here on the Phil show, not that we have any problem with transplants.

So maybe I should have made a better question. Yeah. Hey, John, good morning. How are you, Phil? How's it going? Buddy, good, man. Thank you. Tell me what's the name of the restaurant that Tim didn't know. I'm sure I'm going to, man. Was it the rebel? No, no, no, no. Oh, man. Okay. All right. Thank you. I thought this was an easy question. Angela is on the live line. Good morning, Angela. Good morning. Angela, you could qualify for tickets the season ticket package. The season ticket package, too, Broadway at the Tennessee. If I'm going up Broadway north, I pass Sharps Ridge and I look over to the right. What restaurant did people use to cruise a lot? Still open. Sony. It's correct. It is correct with the Slim Jim and the Shoney Bear and the bar and all of that stuff. And they got a great tailgate package.

Angela, congratulations to you. Are you going to the game or are you going to watch the game at home? What are you going to do? I'm going to work in the morning and then watch the game at home. Okay. Where do you work? Work at Westwill. Okay. Very, very good. Now, you guys have a great demo. Put you on hold. Land is going to get all your information, including your firstborn child, all of that. No, yeah, I'm just all of that stuff. All right. Very, very good. So, and the eight o'clock hour, more chances to win. Listen for your cue to call to quantify for the debt system. I was there yesterday at Phoenix, in version. It was hard for me to leave. As a matter of fact, I stayed till they closed. The video will be up today. If it's not already, I don't know if you shared it or not. I almost sent it dirty. She shared. And ladies and gentlemen, real quick. Some good news, I guess.

And Emo. A crossword puzzle clue a lot. Yeah. And Emo got trapped in a canal. And it took a whole bunch of firsts. I've got it. It just took a whole lot of humans to convince it. This is not where you belong. All right. Great to have you on News.987W. Okay. I. Oh, man. We got news at the top. I wonder if Christy Gail Pike will be mentioned. Oh, yeah, I'm sure she will. By the way, she's still alive. As far as we know, we'll be back.
