Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes! We are back for a new show of the New York Sports Loud Mousho Yes! You know who I am. I'm sitting down tonight. I'm not standing up So I'm kind of flipping around, but you know who I am. My name is Errol Marks And they call me the mouth And my co-host as always Mickey, well, I was about to say Mickey Dickie Braggs But Dickie Braggs And we're waiting for Quentin Cobbles to join us But Dickies with us We get new nicknames every show Mickey Dickie, I mean like I wouldn't make any No, I wouldn't make any graphics on that speed Yeah, I wouldn't make any graphics on that speed Mickey Dickie doesn't make any sense Go to our website at www.WorldPwatchRadiot.com Check out all our shows throughout the week Including New York Sports Loud Mousho Every single Mondays and Thursdays

At 7pm All you have to do to tune in to check out our local listings for all our shows Is go to our website at www.WorldPwatchRadiot.com So we've been working on transitioning our YouTube channel Into a Jets channel for the first hour And I know it's new ladies and gentlemen And I don't know if we should be doing that Maybe we should make another channel Strickly Jets But we transitioned it And we might have to transition it back And make a YouTube channel for the New York Jets So we're trying to figure this out I know it's only been one day But we've been posting up Jets stuff And it doesn't seem like it's getting into the algorithm So we will figure it out I just want to let everybody know If everybody's asking questions So what's going on with it We're working on the YouTube channel Everything else is doing so good It's just that YouTube channel It's this algorithm thing And all these different shows that are all on these different channels They don't understand it either

I figured out Spotify and Apple because we've been pretty much on the same URL number Every single time So it doesn't matter where we change it from pod bean or What's the other one? SimpleCast? We're on SimpleCast So it doesn't matter what we're on As long as our URL changes from each brand that we're on Or each level that we're on It goes with it But for some reason YouTube I don't get it, I don't understand it Everybody keeps telling me We'll get into the algorithm, you'll understand it Okay, we're trying to do everything we can But I still don't understand it So I apologize to the fans I know we're trying to do new things We're trying to figure it out before the football season Well the football season just started yesterday But you know what I mean When Sunday football starts And we'll get into week one And we'll get into last night's game which is an absolute debacle by the way It may be 6 to my stomach Because I'd even pick my second round pick AJ Brown And he goes down possibly for six to eight weeks

It pretty much hurts my whole season Because I draft them Well I didn't draft them Auto draft drafted him And now I got to wait six to eight weeks And by the way You're playing in a 14 team League Or you're being responsible for getting the guys that you want Really you have the best chance of getting the guys that you want in the first five rounds And then you have to just like nitpick What's going to fall to you You have nobody by round 11 or round 12 So I am just so disgusted Because I really don't have anything Jacobi Myers That's probably the only guy I'm going to have to Be able to be able to fit in And my wide receiver position In that league which We all know Jacobi Myers has had decent wide receiver He's a great wide receiver. I would say no. So I'm screwed in that 14 team. He was the disappointment after the trade to Jacksonville. I thought he was gonna be a much bigger piece and he just hasn't been yet. Mostly this year. We'll see. I mean, I think he could change everything.

And again, for all the fans out there, when you're playing in a 14 team fantasy league, it's harder. As you go further in the rounds, there's nobody good, nobody available. So you really have to nitpick, you got to gas in. And that's what I couldn't really do. Speedy actually helped me with it because I'm doing a live show and we pushed the show from Monday to Tuesday because it was a holiday and it really screwed me. I'm just gonna let everybody know. I do not plan to win that league. But hey, anything's possible. If one of my guys take off, it's possible. But and if AJ Brown comes back probably in week four, week five, which could happen, you know, a high ankle sprain. I don't know how bad the high ankle sprain is and they need him just as bad as anybody does. That's why they made the trade. Well, then maybe I have a chance. But as a brand, I don't know your high ankle sprains are worse. Yeah, I know. I know. Why are you trying to jinx me here? You're just, I just let you know. And I saw the news drop and said, high ankle sprain, I was like, oh, eight weeks. So you make it worse for me.

Ladies and gentlemen, Dickie Braggs makes it worse for me. Finally, on top when you're already feeling this. I'm always down when it comes to fantasy because you don't know who's gonna stay healthy and especially in this league, once somebody goes down in your starting lineup, good luck on anybody on your bench and how they're going to work into your starting lineup. It doesn't usually work like Arley Glass night. There's only 10 teams. So looking, there are guys still, great players still available that you could pick up. Great players. I think players that can give you a 170, 180 points this year in fantasy, if everything falls right. Not in this league, ladies and gentlemen, there is nobody. There is nobody available. Even at the wide receiving position that I even bring in, most of those guys are averaging between, well, estimated to average 90 to 89 points. So good luck and I'm just screwed. Really, that's the way I look at it. I'm absolutely screwed in this league. But again, it sounds like a good team name for whoever has George Pickens. Our team name could be Slim Pickens.

How about they just concolme absolutely screwed. Maybe that's what I'll change my name to because I'm absolutely screwed. Anyways, we got a live top end show for you guys tonight. Quentin will be joining us hopefully soon. We will be talking to former Cowboys and Cardinals running back Troy Hambrick. He will be joining us. He's a former Cowboys and Cardinals running back. He is now retired, but we're gonna have him join us. We'll talk about his career with the Cowboys and the Cardinals. Oh yeah, we had Steve on last time. It was two weeks ago and Steve had his own thoughts to the Cardinals. Actually, he stuck up for the Cardinals. He got to give a shout out to Steve because he was out there pretty much not throwing. He couldn't stand the New York Jets, but for some reason he had this love fest for the Cardinals. Like the Cardinals have been any better than the New York Jets. A lot of his guys are still there. Yes, a McBride still there. He's got players that are still there on that roster, but he struck out on quite a few players. But I like Steve.

Steve's a good guy. He was very fun to have on the show. He loved to argue. So I'm interested to get Steve on the show again. I wanted him to join our league, but he kind of ducked in leave. I know of Fent Steve, but I knew you're gonna do that. I didn't think you were gonna join the league and go toe to toe with me when it came to drafting plays, but that's okay, man. That's okay. You know why? Because I'm gonna win anyways. I listen to Nithin. I've listened to Aaron over the last 24 hours. P.D. doesn't really brag about it, but Lee. Well, Nithin has to improve from his two wins from last year. Carl, all these guys that were in our league last week, Mikey sees who's playing me this week. They're all yapping and dancing around. Like guys, look at your team. Your team's no, we'll see. We'll see. I guarantee you my team's gonna be a lot better than people think. The only mistake I made in the league, and I'll be straight up full proof honest. I completely forgot in the seventh round that I only drafted one wide receiver,

which was Devante Smith. So I was like, damn, I need to draft another wide receiver. And by the time that happened, I mean, there were good guys still available, but nobody like superstar rated. So I had a lot of running backs. And again, with a Flex2 Flex league, it still helps me. And I think in PPO's, you'd rather have the good running back that can catch and run than the wide receiver that only catches and does what he does. So we'll see what happens. I think that this could be a really fun year in our league fantasy fantasy. And I want everybody to enjoy it. So we will keep tabs on it. We will post it off on the show as we move forward in the season. So here we go. All right, so we're gonna continue our New York Jets talk with a guy that had one more win in his real first fantasy, or real first football year that Nathan did in his fantasy year. That was Aaron Glenn. So here's the first of eight different subtopics we're gonna get into with this New York Jets matchup. If they lose to the Tennessee Titans, is Aaron Glenn already on the hot seat?

After falling to former Jets guy, Bambi Salah. Absolutely. Absolutely. Because if you look at the Jets schedule, the next three to four games are almost impossible. Almost impossible. Now that doesn't mean the Jets can't win, but these teams are playoff bound teams. The Jets are not considered a playoff bound team. They need to get that one win where they're one step over the Patriots. Remember the Patriots lost the game a very close game last night. They were up 10 to nothing going into the second half. The Jets need this win. They need to stay close with the teams ahead of them in their division. And it's the Patriots and the Buffalo Bills. Now that doesn't mean that he's gonna get fired in week five. I just think that if Aaron Glenn goes O and four or O and five, going into, I think it's week 13 or week 12 when the Jets have their buy week, he could be fired. Absolutely Ken. They have Frank right there. Frank Wright has been a coach in the NFL. He's been an offensive coordinator. It's won a Super Bowl. And if you want to prove himself as next year's head coach,

I don't know if that's gonna make a difference because the Mike Tomlin thing has been out and running. And by the way, Mike Tomlin looked really good last night. He really did. And I'm looking forward to that interview with John Harball, him and John Harball sitting for Sunday night football because that's an interesting argument and conversation. These two guys couldn't stand each other. One obviously coach for Baltimore, the other one coach for Pittsburgh. So I'm interested on how these guys react to each other. But they look like their buddies no matter what. But Aaron Glenn is on the hot seat. Just think about this. I'm gonna give you what the Jets coaches have done in the last 15 years. You ready? Aaron Glenn in his first year from 2025 to 2026 was 3 and 14. 3 and 14. Robert Salah from 2021 to 2024 was 20 and 36. From 2019 to 2020, Adam Gase, his record was 9 and 23. Todd Boles, 2015 to 2018,

record was 24 and 40. Rex Ryan, remember the two AFC championship games that he led the Jets in from 2009. And I think it was 2011. Remember everybody? I think it was 2010 and 2011. Back to back years, he coached the Jets and his record in the post season was 4 and 2. His regular season record was under 546 and 50. Eric Mangini from 2006 to 2008, only two years. We all know what happened at Bill Bellicic, throwing his boxes out from the Patriots, making him go and pick up his boxes outside of the office. 23 and 25. He didn't even have a 500 record. Herm Edwards from 2001 to 2005. You know what his record was? 39 and 41. Guys, it's not good. Here's the problem. There is not one coach in the last 15 years. 15 years. That's had a 500 record for the New York Jets. You name it. Todd Bowles is still coaching as a head coach for the Bucking

years. Adam Gase is coaching high school ball. Robert Salah now has his second job. After one year being a defensive coordinator and once again, what San Francisco, if he fails, he'll never get a coaching job again. Eric Mangini's not in the NFL anymore. Herm Edwards is not in the NFL anymore. Rex Ryan is not in the NFL anymore. Do we see the trend here? Do we see the trend? Aaron Glenn right now is absolutely in a bad position. He needs to beat the Titans. He needs to. And there's no argument to it. Nobody's going to go out there and say or sugarcoat. Well, if Aaron Glenn loses this game, he still has a chance to prove himself. He can still win eight games. There is no way in hell that Jets went eight games this year if they lose against the Titans. There's no way. There's no way in that schedule that Jets could pull off an eight win season without beating the Titans. And that's not saying it's not a shoe in to go to Tennessee and beat the Titans. It's not. Cam Ward has a lot to prove. This is his second year with a competent offensive coordinator, not a competent coach,

but a competent offensive coordinator. He's got weapons. Calvin Ridley is healthy. Tate is a young stud who's drafted in a top 10. Robinson was another guy that had a great season last year, went at a top 10 wide receivers in a league latched here when it comes to catching yards per catch. Look about that. They have weapons and the Jets are going into a season. Well, well, look at the offense. Look at the type of talent that the Jets have on that roster. That's great. Breast hole. We don't know if he's 100% healthy. They're trying out for it. They don't know who's going to stay healthy all season. They have Cooper, Ponds, the Angel Ponds. We don't even know if he's playing in game one. There's secondary needs the Angel O'Ponds. Is he going to play in game one? Are timing will probably happen two, three hours before the game where we'll know if the Angel O'Ponds plays more unlikely not. There is a lot to look into this game and it really shines on one guy. Everybody keeps saying Gino Smith or Frank Wright. None of those guys.

It's Aaron Glenn. Aaron Glenn is the one who has pressure on him. He's calling the defensive plays now. He could have brought in Wink, Martin Dale. But guess what? Woody Johnson said, you know, I'm paying you the big bucks. I'm not bringing in Wink. So Aaron Glenn, after three interviews says to win, Martin Dale, you could be my assistant defensive coordinator, which Wink didn't want to do that. So he brings in some no named defensive coordinator that's going to be helping him call the place. You're going to sit here and tell me that's what Aaron Glenn wanted going into the off season. No. He wanted to show everybody that he can run the offense, run the defense, and run the special teams. There's a lot of pressure on him and there's not one of these coaches. One of these coaches that I named from Robert Salah to Adam Gays, Todd Bulls, Rex Ryan, Eric Mancini or her landlords knows anything, anything about two way football. Adam Gays was an offensive coordinator. He was a calling defensive place. Robert Salah was a defensive guy. Yes, he was a tight end in high school or whatever. College, he's a defensive guy.

He wasn't calling offensive place. Todd Bulls defensive coordinator wasn't calling offensive place. Rex Ryan, he didn't have a competent offensive coordinator. He was calling defensive plays. Mancini defensive coordinator. He wasn't calling competent offense. That's why they brought him bread farm. How quick did that end for Eric Mancini? Aaron Glenn is definitely going to be heavily on the hot seat after game one because the media is not going to like it. And you know, he doesn't answer the media very, very well. I'm interested to hear how he reacts to the media after he gets blown out in Tennessee or doesn't put on a good showing. You as a jet fan can sit here and make an argument. Well, if this happens and that happens, if the jets play a hard game and lose the game, it's still a competent. No, it's not. I don't care what Robert Salah says. I don't care if that Robert Salah has been out there saying that I can't. I marked the calendar of this game. It's the first game of the season. Of course you're marking it. It doesn't matter if it was the jets or was the giants. You marked it because it's the first game of the season and Robert, you're on the hot

seat already automatically as well. But yes, I don't care. By the way, we had Keith on the show, Keith Bullock on the show yesterday and Keith said no to cue when he brought it up to him. But I disagree. If he, if Robert Salah gets smashed up by Aaron Glenn in the first game of the season, that's not a good look for him. That this is his second job in what two years as a head coach. He was fired by the jets. It becomes a defensive coordinator. And then a year later, he's again a head coach. He didn't work well for Rex Ryan over there when he left the jets to Buffalo. He was there for two years. I could guarantee you Robert Salah, if he has a losing season this year with cam ward and the weapons that they added this all season, I absolutely believe he will be on the hot seat going into next season. He could be one and done very, very quickly. But Aaron Glenn, this is a make a break here, buddy. Make a break here because if he doesn't, if he doesn't have a good season, if he does

not win more than I would say six games, he's going to get fired because Tomlin is going to be sitting there and I see Q licking his lips. Lamar Jackson, Mike Tomlin licking his lips. Good for him. You know, damn well, Woody Johnson is going to be on the phone with the agent of Mike Tomlin asking him how much do you want to coach? Because I know Mike Tomlin knows that if he brings home a winner in New York, just like you could you imagine John Harball and Mike Tomlin, the two New York coaches, the two guys that played in the same division didn't like each other. One coach to Steelers, the other one coached the Baltimore Ravens, both of them won championships, but not with their own teams. If you think about it, Mike Tomlin didn't win his champion, he won his championship with Bill Cowards team and the same thing with John Harball. That wasn't his team. That wasn't. He took over for a team and then a couple of years later, won with a team that was built by Ozzy Newsom. So I'm sitting here today and I'm only being honest for all the fans out there that's

going to lie about this. Absolutely. Aaron Glenn is on hot seat. I agree with you. It's crazy because like week one, you're like, is it a must win, week one? But like the way you describe it, if you look at how the season is going to play out, you look at the next four games after week one. The pressure is on the jets. They can't lay an egg against Tennessee. Absolutely not. And the motivation there, the old coach is in Tennessee now. He's talking a big game. You know, Aaron Glenn seems to have changed his approach in the off season. Seems to kind of be regaining his own identity, not trying to be the imposter of Dan Campbell and show off this bravado that he doesn't deserve and that the team doesn't portray. So I kind of see it lining up, but I really like the jets have to win this game. And for a week one, must win for a team that's not even like, it's not even being talked about as a playoff team. It's a crazy place to be.

It's almost like a lose, lose situation because if you lose a close game, it means nothing because it in all reality, you're probably going to start the season 0 and 5, right? Probably like tight. At that point, tightens Packers, Lions, Bears, Browns. That's five games right there. You might beat the Browns, right? Might beat the Browns. There's no guarantees. There's no guarantees they beat the Browns. You have to win. This is the game that is a must win. It's week one, circled on the calendar. The motivation should be there. Everyone should be rearing to go, but you don't know what who's going to be out there is Breeze Hall. Healthy. Is Alan healthy? Is he not healthy? They're trying out Ford. Ponds. They talk so highly about them all off season, but the guy who hasn't been out there once, is he going to be out there? I mean, it's just, it's a crazy situation. What a great storyline to open the NFL season with. I don't know, but great. I mean, as a jet fan, you can't predict greatness when it comes to the New York Jets.

I mean, you can only pray that Breeze Hall plays and he has a sensational game, Garrett Wilson has a breakout game and shows everybody how quality, how much quality and quality and quantity he can bring to the table this year as the Jets leader, as the Jets big offensive option. Because again, going into the off season, everybody was talking about, well, is Aaron Glenn, the right guy, they bring in Frank Wright. You've heard the love fest between him and Garrett Wilson, Frank Wright and him saying that, you know, Frank Wright has given me the chance to be me on the football field. It's the first time since Ohio State. Remember when he said that and I just think the fact that he is going into a season where Garrett Wilson has to beat the man and they've given him quality players around him. Kenyan Sedeck is a quality player. Taylor Mason Taylor is a quality player. You have Breeze Hall. You have Braille and you have guys that can catch the ball and deliver few Omar Cooper who they they drafted in the first round. Yeah, a Ad Mitchell, who everybody keeps saying that could have a wonderful season as a one

and see type of type of wide receiver on this team. So and and and Gino Smith, which we'll get into in just a few moments, I think that it has to be a must win for the Jets. Just by the way, the schedule is set up for them. It's set up set up for them to lose. And I'm not saying that the NFL is trying to do that, but think about it. You got to play two of the same teams in the same division back to back weeks, the packers and the Lions, both teams that need to win this game. Their schedule, they have to play themselves twice in the same division. So they need the win and the Bears are in the same division too. So you have back to back to back weeks where you got it. Yes, the packers got to go to New York. They're the playing the first. The Jets are not playing another home game until the Browns. Think about that. The Jets are playing one, two, three, three out of the next five games away. And they got the two games that they have at home are the packers and the Browns.

And I'm not saying this to be honest, the Browns are no shoe in, not for the Jets because the Browns still have players. They still have to Sean Watson and all it takes is a good game for the Sean Watson and Jets can't put pressure on him and the Sean Watson can run and throw all over him. And how embarrassing that would be if Aaron Glink goes Owin five in his first five games. Owin five then guess who they're playing the week after in week six, the New England Patriots and guess who will probably be back by then, AJ Brown. So it's not easy. Jet fans, everybody says, well, the dolphins are a shoe. The Jets can win both games with the dolphins, really? I don't say that. What did that ever happen with the vision rivalries that ever goes that way? Well, the dolphins are trying to lose the dolphins are trying to lose this year. They want archmaning really, really bad. So they did whatever they can in the off season. They traded to a they let to a go pretty much for nothing. They're paying his salary just to get him away.

And then you get rid of Waddle. You send your best offensive option now that Tyree Kill is gone and probably not coming back and going to another team. If he does come back this year, you're saying your best option is Waddle. You traded him to the Broncos. So you pretty much said, I'm giving up on the season. We're going into the draft next year, probably getting the number one pick. We want archmaning. We want to star. We want one of the manning boys being the quarterback for our future. That's what they're doing. That's what Jet fans. If that's what you're buying into the vision rivalries workout though, like the Jets will play spoiler to the dolphins and give up a game to them so that they don't get the number one pick. You know what I mean? Like that's just how it happens. This is what always happens to the New York Jets. I want everybody to understand this because I am a jet guy. I know you see I'm wearing a brotherly love jersey. It doesn't have LeBron James' name on the back of it or anybody like, I just like the jersey. You didn't put LTA on it. No. It's DJ Rollo. That's what I put behind there. I don't. When I go to Philadelphia, I'm DJing Philadelphia.

I wear the jersey just to sport. Something with Philadelphia. I like basketball jerseys. But I want to tell you guys something. You have to understand something as a jet fan. This team gives you Audida every single year. It doesn't matter. Jameson. He's a jet fan. Die hard jet fan. He'll help buy into anything with the Jets. It doesn't matter how bad this season goes. Well, we're going to win that game. That's jet fans. Oh, we're not that bad. The fact here is, if you look at their schedule, it's not easy. You can't buy into this. You can't buy into this propaganda. The fact here is, is the New York Jets are going to be slayers? Or they're going to be beaten up and buried six feet under? And to me, Aaron Glenn jumping up and dancing around when the Jets have one good play at the tail end of the game is not going to sell me when you have still five minutes left to win the game. He's got to close the deal.

The Titans are going to go into a home game. Game Awards has a lot to prove after what they said about him in the preseason. He's not going to go in and let the Jets pulverize him. He's going to go out there and try to put up 300 yards, give two three touchdowns. He's going to try to run a touchdown in and give everybody a reason why you should draft him in fantasy sports. Or you passed up on a great player like a cam ward. And I'm going to tell you this right now, if anybody can get him to play at the level that I believe cam ward could play, is the fat man or skinny man of the former New York Jets. I'm just speaking the truth. I don't understand why people give that guy so much credit outside of Josh Allen. He did nothing. Who's the best quarterback in the NFL right now? They're saying Josh Allen, not because of Brian DeWool. Brian DeWool changed his whole throwing motion. Get out of here. He did. What did he do to Danny Dimes? What did he do? Danny Dimes was pretty damn good when he went over there being the oblias. You can't give this. Danny Dimes got a $40 million contract because of him. Not because of him because of him. He had a good season. He didn't know.

He had one good season. He had a good season without him. No, it was with DeWool. He had a good season. They went to the playoffs with DeWool. Then he got the extension. He got the $40 million. That's why they didn't give it to him. I don't understand. I don't understand the love fest in New York for that guy. That guy was not good. He was not a good coach. His team's he's a good offensive coordinator. He did not develop quarterbacks. I disagree with him. I disagree with you with Brian DeWool. I think he stinks. I think he's. I think he's a great offensive guy. Like I said, over the years, Rex Ryan's one of the greatest defensive coordinators we've ever seen. One of the greatest defensive coordinators we have ever seen. But guess what? As a head coach, go look at his Buffalo record. Go look at his jets. I just gave you his jets record. What is he? 46 and 50? Four games under 500. I don't care if he's four and two in a postseason. That doesn't matter. You have to be a winner. He's a brick. He got a win. That's what happens when you're not a winning organization.

And Danny Dimes did take the jet, the giants to the playoffs. He got his $40 million. And that's because of DeWool. And then what happened after that? We all know what happened. DeWool didn't have a good relationship with Wink Martin Dale. He didn't have a good relationship with anybody on that bench. Guys decided to drop out and pretty much quit. And DeWool was losing the team. That's what happened to DeWool. DeWool would still be there. If he could just get along with Wink Martin Dale. He couldn't. And he wanted Wink. He was the one that hired Wink. But Wink is a unique personality. Wink would be perfect over there with John Harball. He'd be perfect because he was there with John Harball over there with Baltimore for a while. He would be great. But Wink will never go back to the giants after what Mara and Tish did to him when he was walking out and getting fired. They chose who? And then what happened to Dabel over him and you know Wink. Wink was not happy with the Jets did it to him in the offseason.

And again, we've seen over the years, players and coaches and even GMs and even executives not get along for each roster. And you usually just tells up from the top, Jo Shane is still there right now for the New York Giants. That's the craziest part three years! We lives in my head over and over is Mara saying, man, I'm really going to be disappointed if we lose if we lose Barkley to a division rivalry and that he signs with the Eagles. Like if I'm John Mara, right? And I that would be burning in my brain every time this guy walked past me and I would be like, that was on TV. You're fired. Get out. Get out. I'll pack your stuff for you. Don't worry about it. It was the way he did it. It was the way he did it on hard knocks, made it seem like it was nothing and then let hard knocks, the distributing company actually cut it out and use it. I was embarrassing for any giant fan to watch that.

Anything that I can remember of hard knocks for the New York Times was how stupid and what a debacle Joe Shane was as a GM. He didn't even know what he was doing. The year that they decided to go at neighbors and their son was talking about the quarterback play. And shaded Daniels that told me enough about what Joe Shane was as a GM for the New York giants and to go back to the jets. Darren Moji did not pick Aaron Glenn. He did not. I'm sorry fans. He did not choose Aaron Glenn. Aaron Glenn was hired before Darren Moji was he was. Do you think Darren Moji wants him there? No, he really doesn't. Darren Moji wants his own guy. He wants to hire his own guy, bringing his own quarterback. That's what all these guys want to do. Glenn gets fired. They're going after Tomlin. No doubt about it. Now there's his guy. Absolutely. That would probably be the biggest get the jets have ever had. Think about it. The coaches the jets abroad in Mike Tomlin. Go at the Bella check for a day.

That's that wasn't that wasn't. He was never the jets head coach. He was never going to the jets because of Leon Hess thing. Everybody knows the whole the whole story behind why Bill Bella check left in 24 hours of the Patriots is because Woody Johnson bought the team and he did not want to work for Woody. It was him and Leon Hess with very, very close. But bringing in Mike Tomlin makes Moji a stud. If Mike Tomlin even becomes half the coach he was with Pittsburgh and has a winning career with the jets, it's a slam dunk for Darren Moji. So he's the best guy available next off season. No matter who's available, think about it. Think about all the coaches that could become available. Seriani could be available. He won a Super Bowl. You know what I'm taking? I'm taking I'm going Mike Tomlin even Mike Tomlin won a Super Bowl. So did Nick Seriani. I'm going with my. Seriani doesn't come with Roseman though. Then it's not really a get you know what I mean. I feel like how he Roseman has deserves all the credit for that that that Philly Super Bowl.

No question. So you're looking at the jets. Mike Tomlin is the best hire the jets have ever had. Think about that. I'm going that way and then Moji everything he does after that. You want to bring in Lamar Jackson and trade two or three first round. Go ahead. Bring in Lamar Jackson. We got Mike Tomlin and that's that's the way that jet fans look at it. I do not want Lamar Jackson. Just so everybody understands Mike Tomlin. I would love Mike Tomlin. Mike Tomlin is a good coach. Is he a good playoff coach? Well, nine years in a row, not getting past the first round. You know my answer to that. He's got to prove himself. So maybe the Pittsburgh sailors was not the organization at the tail end of his career there for him. Maybe bringing in his quarterback and he's made mistakes as a head coach with the quarterback stay brought in after Ben Rothisberger and Ben was not his guy. It was Bill Cowards. So I again, going back to John Harball and Aaron Glenn. I'm not saying John Harball is on the on the hot seat no matter what happens with the giants, but I have said this many, many times.

John Harball does not want to lose. He doesn't want to lose. Aaron Glenn went out there when he spoke to the media when he got this job and he said, it's not going to be easy. I'm going to make this team a viable winning organization. And when you look at his record right now, we're going to move on and his record shows in week or actually in year one, three and 14. That tells me he's not very good. All right. Speaking of a question, Mark, Gina Smith returns to the Jets after a decade away from there. But 32 interceptions the last two years in Seattle, as we mentioned, struggling with the Raiders. How many games does Gina Smith get before Jets fans start screaming for Kate Cubblet, club Nick or anyone else? I'll say this 15 years. I want to give you guys the list of 15 year quarterbacks that Jets have had. Only one has had a winning record for the New York Jets. And that is Mark Sanchez. He was 37 and 31 from 2009 to 2012.

That was the Rex Ryan when Rex Ryan was at his hottest. Gina Smith, the Jets second round draft pick. He was the next one after Mark Sanchez. From 2013 to 2016, he was 12 and 18. Ryan Fitzpatrick 2015 to 2016. He was 13 and 14. Think about this. Josh McCown from 2017 to 2018. He was 5 and 11. Sam Darnold who we all know what he did last year and he went down last night. But I think he'll be back from 2018 to 2020. Youngest quarterback ever drafted. The Jets gave him nothing. He was 13 and 25 and Joe Flacco. As we all know, Joe Flacco from 2020 to 2020 to 2022. He was one and eight and the great Zach Wilson, the great Zach Wilson, 2021 to 2023, 12 and 21 and Aaron Rogers from 2023 to 2024, six and 12.

One guy, one guy and just think about this. How many quarterbacks in 15 years? How many quarterbacks eight quarterbacks in 15 years? Eight? The Cowboys. How long has Dad Prescott been a cowboy? What is it? 10 16. That's 11 years. 10 years. 10 years. So in 10 years, they've had one starting quarterback. 10. So you're telling me the Dallas Cowboys who every single cowboy thing. I mean that Cooper Rush got some stars. I'm not talking about who was the starting quarterback for the Dallas Cowboys for 10 years. It is Zach Prescott. It hasn't changed. And all the cowboy fans, Cowboys had a run like that after after eight men. You can when Troy comes on the show, ask him about it. How many quarterbacks, Quincy Carter, Anthony Wright, Drew Henson, Ryan Leif was there for a spell. I mean, they had a long period of not being able to fight. All right.

So you want me to go, you want me to go 30 years for the Jets quarterback? Come on. They have a one six, 1969. That's the hero of the Jets. Yeah. I'm pretty sure Chad Peneting didn't have a winning record. All right. I think he might have. What is Chad Peneting? I don't think he did. I don't think he had a winning record as the Jets had a starting quarterback. You didn't have the strongest arm and then he started having shoulder problems. Well, he was strong when he was playing in college and then he had shoulder surgery. No 32 and 37. Yeah. He didn't have a winning record. Vinnie Testiverty might have. Vinnie Testiverty might have been the last one besides Mark Sanchez to have a winning record. Maybe. Yeah, 36 and 28. That's about it. That's how bad it. That's a good record for the Jets. That's horrible. That's horrible. That's horrible. He said for the Jets. That's horrible. Come on. Jets fans. This is horrible. This is what we're standing out there for for our England to win six or seven games for

the Jets to keep up. I don't think it's all doom and gloom. I think this team has a lot of young players. If they can develop these young players, they're going to be. They're going to be better and more competitive than people think. We're talking about Gina Smith right now. I mean, Gina Smith. I mean, Gina Smith, if they're offensive line can protect him and he has time and he's not running for his life and getting sacked 70 times. Are you betting on it? I mean, it breeze halls healthy and he only has to throw the ball 25 times a game. I think that's a recipe for winning. I think that's a recipe of losing. And I don't want to hear it from any Jets fans saying, well, his completion percentage last year was 67.4 percent, which was one of the top 13 quarterbacks in the league. Because I know Q wants to sell that toss and it's not selling me. It's not selling me 3000 yards in 2025 is not selling me 19 touchdowns to 17 interception is not selling me. All right. I don't want to hear it from the Jets fans and Kate, he seems like a nice kid.

Am I going to buy in that Kate is going to be the guy for the New York Jets in the future? No. I don't want to hear it from Frank. Right. He's all happy and glowy and all that other stuff when you hear talk about how good Kate looked on the practice field. He hasn't played against ones. Are we really going to buy into Kate? This is ridiculous. Jets fans, they're going to be pushing for that because think about how much they celebrated Mike White. Okay. They were Mike White is the future. Give him a contract. Bring him back Mike White. Mike White. We know we loved him. That's silverburg. Remember that? Josh was like, sign him, sign him, sign him. I remember that whole thing. He had a great season. Let's sign Mike and I said, do not sign Mike. Do not sign Mike. And where was he? He gets a big contract. He's a backup quarterback. And what did he do after the New York Jets? Mike White was nothing. I think he went to Miami. He jumped ship. Yeah. What fits Patrick? It fits Patrick. It fits Magic. Had that one year and they're like, bring him back.

You got to run it back. Run it back. They run it back and they were terrible. Well, he had Marshall and Decker. I mean, those two guys are beasts. That year, that was record breaking for the New York Jets. I don't think, I think that was the best offensive year that Jets have ever had. And Gino Smith has a lot of pressure on him because I'm hearing that Jets fans or Jets pod guests are saying that he could throw 4,000 yards. No Jets quarterbacks ever thrown 4,000 yards. None. Nobody. No Jets quarterback is ever thrown 4,000 yards. None. Not even Vinnie Tessaburti. Not one of them. I've got news for you. Joe Nameth. Joe Nameth, either. I don't think, in fact, they probably too many of them. And neither. I'm sure that Joe Nameth never threw 4,000 yards. I'm sure of it. His career maybe. Probably. He's all the famous as everybody wants to buy into that. But my, my fact here is, or the fact here for Gino Smith is the first five games, there's a lot of pressure on him. If he stands in there and he throws well,

doesn't throw as many interceptions as touchdowns and the Jets still lose, he will be the starting quarterback for the full season. They're not going to go to K8 unless he gets hurt. Gino gets hurt. They're not going to trust that K8's going to be able to get in that rotation with the first strings and be able to lead this team all the way to a wild card. Their best chance to get to the wild card is Gino Smith. I don't see it with the schedule, the way it's set up. I mean, think about it. The Titans, the Packers, the Lions, the Bears, the Browns, the Patriots, the Dolphins, the Raiders, the Chiefs, the Bills, the Chargers, the Dolphins, the Broncos, the Cardinals. There's like three or maybe four games they could win. Patriots, Vikings, Bills. Good friggin' luck. No matter how good the offense is playing and if the defense is playing, even half as good as what it was last year, I don't see them winning more than five games

and that's winning two or three games where nobody expected you to win. Because even the Raiders are no shooin'. You've got to play Mendoza because eventually by the time they play the Raiders in November 1st, even if cousins are starting and Dosa's going to be the starting quarterback. You can bank your dollar on that. Who they want? If the Raiders want to play one team in Mendoza's first game, it'd be the Chats. November 1st, why wouldn't it be? Mendoza looks like a bright quarterback and he throws 300 yards in his first game, free touchdowns and he looks like an absolute killer to the New York Chats. This is the problem. This schedule doesn't work out for the Chats and again, Gino Smith, he could sit there and I gotta give Gino a lot of credit. He's quiet. He's not the same Gino Smith he once was when he was there as a rookie.

He's showing leadership. These are things that you like about Gino Smith. The players are gonna like him. But what happens when everything goes blah? What happens? How does this work, ladies and gentlemen? What happens when Gino Smith automatically goes, oh my God, he's back to the old Gino Smith. Throwing more into sections to touchdowns reminds me of James Winston. The Giants decided to give him a two year extension. Why? Because he's a good leader. So what are we buying into? Here's what we're buying into. Bougie traded for Gino Smith because they don't have to pay him the next two years. The contract that's guaranteed is going to be paid by the Raiders and they don't really, they didn't really have to give up much form. What do they give up? A five or a six? They give him nothing form. So you got a competent quarterback that a lot of people, if he went on waivers, a lot of consistent teams into the playoffs are going to bring him in as a backup. Now Gino was traded to the Jets

and I know Gino Smith did not want to go back to the Jets. Who wants to go back to the Jets? Especially this debacle and what we saw last year, a three win season. Nobody, I don't care how many first round draft picks the Jets have. I don't care how much talent they brought in the U of season. That doesn't sell me that they're going to be good. These coaches are going to be able to, are they going to be able to coach these guys on a football field? Because as good in any sport, I always say this, I've taken shots at Q in basketball. You don't need a great coach to win. You don't, you really don't. I think the Miami Heat wins without a spulstra. I do with LeBron James, Dwayne Wade and Chris Bosch and Ray Allen, you can't win with them without Eric Spulstra. I disagree. And I'm not saying Eric Spulstra is not a good coach. You can win without him when you have that kind of talent. Steve Kerr, you're going to tell me with Kevin Durant, Steve, yeah, Stefan Curry, Clay Thompson, and Drake Ma Greening, they're right prime of their career.

You're going to tell me they wouldn't have won a championship with Mark Jackson there or anybody else? Come on. We know they're going to win. There's no lie to it. How about... I don't agree with, you know Smith not wanting to go to the Jets though. I don't think he wanted to go to the Jets. I don't think any other team he had a chance to start for. Miami? Miami he definitely did and I know Miami was interested in him. There are the Cardinals who are interested in him. The Cardinals wanted to bring him in and he probably would have been better off going to the Cardinals with some of the young talent and studs that we believe they have. McBride looked really good last year. Harrison, does he beat out Carson Beck though? Yeah. Yes, absolutely. Absolutely. The next two Cardinals could have beat him out. Carson Beck, please. He's not going to last in the NFL more than two years. Just like the Gremlin. Everybody keeps talking. Dude, the Gremlin on every single body's draft board, fantasy draft board, he is still available. Even on a 14 team league, nobody wanted to draft that kid. Well, he's like the fourth, he's like the fourth wide receiver.

He's the second corner. But that's not the argument. But that's not the argument. This guy was traded up for. The Browns had him at two. And the Jaguars, the Jaguars traded up for him. I saw something the Browns are talking about. Would you rather you could if Jackson Jackson bill was a two or three, which one of them? It's a good. You could have had Mason Graham and Casey Concepcion instead of Travis Hunter. If you would have just kept your picks instead of the trading up for it. I would have kept that more than Travis Hunter. I think Travis, I've been saying this over and over and over again. Everybody thought I was nuts when I was over there at the Highsman Trophy dinner. I said he's overrated. I just don't think he is what Deon Sanders called him as. I think he's good. I just in four years he won't even be a starter in the league. Nobody's going to remember him. That's what I said. Everybody thought I was nuts. This type of talent. Where's Keith when you need him? Keith told me the giant seed of draft him. The giants need to draft him. Thank God the giants didn't draft him.

Thank God the giant fans would have been killing him all off season. So for anybody that's gone out there and thinks that some of my takes are crazy, which they are. I like to throw out some crazy takes. I don't lie and I'm going to tell you this as a jet fan. Gino Smith doesn't smoke my pajamas. It doesn't smoke my undercarriage. All right. I'm just telling you. It doesn't. I'm not. Well, I can tell you what it means. Let me tell you. He's not. He's not the guy that I was looking forward to seeing as my quarterback going into a new season in 2026. That's not the guy that I wanted to see. Was I happy that they brought in a veteran quarterback? Yeah. Instead of bringing in Kate and really giving up on the season. Gino's better than Kate, but how much better than he is than Kate is. It's not much. I mean, you could have still been paying. You could have you could have still had Justin Fields on your team because you're still

paying him. Justin Fields thinks, man. He stands. I agree. I'm just saying. He is the backup quarterback for the Kansas City Chiefs. That's what he is. The jets trading him. The jets actually got picks for Justin Fields after the debacle of a season. And by the way, Aaron, you were wrong about Justin Fields because when he took the job, the stories were coming out that the only way he took the job is if the jets gave an extension to Justin Fields and brought him in as his quarterback. Why? I thought Justin Fields was going to be good, but he was a bust. He would even put him on that list. I did not understand that movie there. I don't know why Aaron Glenn wanted him so badly. You had Aaron Rodgers there, right? You could have put a brought him back. Everybody in the organization said they weren't bringing him back. Whatever. But to hit your wagon to Justin Fields, thinking that he was going to be something even more than what he was in Pittsburgh when a lot of that was smoking mirrors anyway. It just didn't make sense to me at all. What is the tie between them?

They didn't have any interactions with each other. You know what I mean? Like, he never coached him before and you have to sign Justin Fields. That didn't make sense. And none of it ever makes sense when it comes to New York jets. Nothing makes sense. None of it does. And again, this goes back to over and over and over again when it comes to the media. They want to the rich, the meanies of the world, the Connor, whatever his last name is. All these other analysts, the Jake Asmonds, they go out there and they want to throw certain people onto the bus, including Woody Johnson. They want to play Woody Johnson for doing it. Woody Johnson hires these guys. He doesn't make the decisions. As much as everybody says, you got to go to Woody to make the decisions. He has given all autonomy to Darren Moody to make the decisions here. It's not yes. Just Darren go back to Woody Johnson says, what do you think about this? I think of course, you're Woody Johnson's an infamous medler. His hands are pie at all times. Yeah, he medals.

He medals. He doesn't he doesn't leave them off to do their own thing. He very much like James Dolan used to be with the next. His hands are in everything. And that's, you know, that's part of the reason why he gets an F every off season. Jay says it doesn't matter because both teams suck. So and you're probably right. They both do suck. You're probably right, Jay. But guess what? My opinion here is is what happens if the jets blow out the Titans, would you know Smith throwing four touchdowns in his first game back as a New York jet? What a jet fans going to say about that. Maybe Aaron Glenn found his guy. Maybe the jets have something here. And you know, damn well that our friend. Yes, I don't know where he is. Quentin Coppels appears on this show and says, well, everybody, did I not tell you they're a wildcard team after game one. Oh, I don't know. They could beat the Packers. They're going back to that life. We could beat the Packers. Good. This is what sells me to me.

I have to see this team play at a high level multiple games to believe in Aaron Glenn as the head coach of this team and on this roster. I like David Bailey. I like the players that they've brought in. I like Will McDonald's. I've always liked Will McDonald's when they drafted him. A lot of jet fans didn't even know who he was. I liked him. Now you bring a guy like David Bailey and maybe takes pressure off of Will. Will becomes that ultimate prize player that we thought he was going to be with the athletic ability of him jumping over cars. I mean, all those things could happen. Only time will tell ladies in gentlemen. And we've got Sunday afternoon. Sunday afternoon for ready for Monday. Monday show to see what the jets are going to bring out. Are they going to bring out something fun to watch or something lame? All right, something that is fun to watch when he is healthy is Breeze Hall. But the question is after his big contract and the injuries that he's been dealing with throughout this training camp, should they run him into the ground and still give him 20, 25 carries a game right away or ease him in?

Now Jerome Ford is the guy that they were working with. I don't know if they brought him in. I don't I didn't hear anything yet that Jerome Ford is going to be brought in with the New York Chats. But there is a reason why they were working out Jerome Ford is because they were working out. They really do not believe that Breeze Hall is 100%. And I'm going to tell you this. I love braille. He's a nice kid. He's big. He's strong. He hasn't proven anything. His first year last year, he couldn't stay healthy. He was injured in the middle of the season or seven games into the season. He was done for the season practically. And it was all Breeze Hall. Breeze Hall had to show up and Breeze Hall got his three year extension. He got a lot of money. He's one of the highest paid running backs in the NFL. Well, just yours because he's one of the top five top six running backs in the NFL. But teams know that. And that's why the Jets went after guys that could catch the ball in the off season. That's why they went and brought in Kenyans to D. That's why they brought in Omar Cooper. That's why 80 Mitchell has to have a good season.

And we need to see Garrett Wilson have one of those game changing games early in this season to say, wow, we really have a number one. Nobody can say that we don't because there are time and time again as much as I like Garrett Wilson. He disappears in games because teams double team him. No matter if we had Devonte Adams or we had somebody we don't even remember, we know where X Green Bay Packer that was 80 years old being thrown to. It doesn't matter. Garrett Wilson has no excuses this year. He's making a lot of money. He's one of the highest paid. Why receivers in the NFL? He has a competent quarterback that can get him a ball. He is Frank Wright who's a good offensive coin. Not a good coach, but a good offensive coin. I want to see Garrett Wilson play at a high level. The only way he does is Geno Smith. And how does that open up? It opens up for Breeze Hall. Breeze Hall needs to be able to run the ball behind those two bohemates. Membu and Fushano. They're going to have to run the ball behind and Tim and just got a lot of money this whole offseason. He's considered a center slash guard. I think he's a better guard.

The jet should be looking for a center in the offseason in the draft. That's what the jet should be doing in next year's draft. Get the best center in the first round in the late first round. You get the best guy that put with those bohemates because then you solidify that offensive line. Look at the Cowboys right now. Smith is down. Everybody said could they rebuild that offensive line? Can they rebuild that offensive line? It took him a couple of years, but now they have one of the better, more younger offensive lines in football. Everybody took shots at Jerry. Everybody. But Jerry did the right thing. He built around the trenches. And now the jets are finally doing it right. He had a guy Joe Joe Joe what was his name? Joe Joe Douglas. Joe Douglas. I'm sorry. I forgot his name. I almost called him Joe Johnson. Joe Douglas. He was an offensive line person. He came from the the Baltimore Ravens organization, the Ozzy Newsom. He thought he can build that offensive line. He never could build the offensive line.

Look at the offensive line when he brought from free agency. It failed. Failed. Misrubully. Now you have a competent running vac that you can run behind these guys. A guy that you have now for three years. You need to put him in the right positions. You need the weapons out there on the outside that can get the ball and open up the scenes for him. He can have an unbelievable season. Last year he broke over a thousand yards, but wouldn't you want to see Breast Hall have a 1500 yard season with 11 or 12 touchdowns and he's unbelievable. He's considered the best running back in the NFL. Last time we had a player like that was Curtis Martin. Curtis Martin. How long ago was that? And Curtis Martin, we didn't drive after the Patriots did. We drafted this guy. They finally have a guy that can actually hold the rock, build and beat you up at the line of scrimmage, but he can't stay healthy. So I'm going to tell you right now.

This is a big year for Breast Hall. This is a big year for the Jets offense because if Frank Wright and Aaron Glenn could prove that this team is a competent offense and could be a top 15 offense and a top 15 defense in a year that a lot of people, including yours truly, don't think they're winning more than six games. Then you have something going into the off season where you have all this draft picks, you have all this money. And now you can go into the off season saying, hey, if we get this guy, we get this quarterback, we get a couple of these guys in free agency and we draft these guys in the first round, we can be legitimately a contender in the AFC next year. Yeah, at Breast Hall, I worry about his injury, pronness. I know Frank Wright's strategy is make him and Garrett Wilson the bell cows. The problem with that is Breast Hall is carrying 25 times a game. Is he going to hold up already? He's questionable going into the season. So now it makes you wonder if they can pivot to having kind of a stable of backs rather

than just one bell cow back there that's going to total rock 25 plus times a game. But when he's healthy, obviously, there's no question. He's a top 10 running back arguably top five. He deserved that three year extension. Hopefully it's nothing serious. That groin injury isn't something that lingers and you get him back on the field and he can do what he does because if the offensive line is as improved as they are saying it, it's going to be, I mean, it's going to be a great year for him. And you're going to want to take that pressure off. Geno again, you don't want him throwing the ball 50 times a game. You want him throwing the ball 30 and below. And the only way that that happens is if Breast Hall is healthy and effective. And here's another thing. Foshano might be asking in the off season if Foshano has an all world season with Membu, he's going to be asking for a contract this off season because he's going into what his third or fourth year speedy. I think it's his fourth year. Foshano, this is year three for him right now. So it'll be a fourth year. So his fifth year option is coming right up.

He might be going to the jet saying, listen, I'm one of the top left tackles in the NFL, top 10 left tackle. And I'm still young. I'm only 24 years old. Pay me. And the jets are going to have to pay him. You don't want to though. Yeah, of course. I want to get another year of him out there. No. And I can belt through a four to him. That's what I'm saying. If Foshano has an all world season, that's what's going to happen. So I know everybody's be with and everybody thinks, oh, well, the jets have to do this to win and the jets have to do that to win. And we can get quit on the show until he's blew in the face and making excuses for this team in his organization. This is the route they should go. Here's the facts. No matter what. No matter what the jets do this off. What they did to the source season and going into the season. If they don't put wins on the board, it doesn't mean anything. It doesn't mean anything. We could sit here and make excuses for this organization. Nothing is going to sell me after this. They need to win this year. And I'm not saying win where they're 500 like you think.

What I think winning seven games, competent seven games, that's a good year for the New York Jets. That's a good year for Aaron Glenn and Frank Wright. That tells me that all they need to do is win three more games next year and there are playoff contending wild card team. That's what it tells me because this year and nine or eight win team is going to make the playoffs. Nine or eight in the AFC because the FC is not good. It's just not. I could see like the Patriots winning nine games this year sneaking into the playoffs. That's what I think is going to happen here in the AFC speedy. Yep. All right. David Bailey now will the rookie past rusher announce himself on Sunday. You guys talked a little bit of a Bailey and Will McDonald on last show. The Titans with a very suspect offensive line, probably outside of Skaronsky, especially at the tackle position. Do you think that Bailey is going to make an impact right away? I always thought his past rush moves raw raw, but look good in the preseason. Does it continue in game one? Absolutely.

I think David Bailey will have a great season. He'll have seven or eight sacks. I don't know about double digits. He'll know early if he hits that double digit, digit total. If he has like four sacks in the first four or five games, yeah, David Bailey can have 10 sacks this year. That's what you want to see your young rookie have somewhere between seven to 10 sacks. He's right there where you believe that next year he's going to have his breakout year. He's going to have double digits. He's going to be a big problem for a lot of offenses to really defend against him and plan against him. I think David Bailey is probably the most athletically gifted power defensive line when we've seen in a very, very long time. I'm not saying he's John Abraham because John Abraham, he doesn't have the moves that this guy has, but John Abraham was strong and he would beat you up at the line of scrimmage and use his great hands and his great footwork to get at you. This guy has spinning moves. He's athletically gifted. He could do a lot of things and he can cause a lot of ruckus at the line of scrimmage. Do I think David Bailey is going to make noise?

Absolutely. I think, but the guy that I think is going to make even bigger noise is Will McDonald because being that David Bailey is going to probably be double teamed on that side. It's going to open up many optional opportunities where Will McDonald, you can pile Will McDonald on the same side as David Bailey where you got to defend both of these guys and drag four guys on that side where it can open up optional opportunities on the other side. The jets are going to do a lot of different things. We've heard that Aaron Glenn is going to try to do that man to man thing like he did with the Lions where he was 47.47% of the time running that man to man defense. If that works and they can play man, the jets defense could be very, very good this year if they can get David Bailey and Will McDonald to play even giving them both of these guys, eight or nine, nine sacks each. You get 18 sacks from these guys and the other guys give you the linebackers, give you about 10 or 15, you have 30 sacks or 35 sacks. That's a good season. Go ask the jets how many sacks they had last year. They were the worst in a league.

They were the worst. They couldn't get to the quarterback. Enough last year. So David Bailey, I think, is going to have a great season. I think he's going to be an impact player for the New York Jets and he's going to become one of those leaders for them in that locker room. Yeah, I think it's imperative for both of them to get going and get going early for if this defense has any shout of being any good. They're going to have to get pressure on the quarterback and it starts with David Bailey. I know the knock against him going into the draft was he was one of those grizzled veteran college players. He's a little bit older coming out, coming out to the NFL, which should play right in his hands for being an impact early in his, in his young career. So I think for this defense to be successful, you have to get pressure on the quarterback and David Bailey has to be that young leader on this on this young defense. Tennessee's offensive line stinks. We just heard from Keith Bullock that he doesn't believe in that offensive line. As a matter of fact, they were playing against threes and boars in preseason, the first

line offensive line team and they couldn't stop them. So what do you think that Jets should be doing to that offensive line and going after cam board? They should be destroying them. They should break holes. And with Aaron Glenn in the way he wants to run his defense this year, this is not Steve Wilkes. This is not he. This isn't Robert Salis team anymore. These are his players. He brought these guys in because he wanted these guys to run his defense. He needs to prove that this defense is competent and they're going to be able to go after the quarterback, put pressure on cam board, where cam board is uncomfortable, where he's going to put the ball into places where it's risky. The Jets didn't have that many interceptions. They should. They were the worst. Again, in the league of doing that, they need guys that are going to be able to go out. That's why they brought in Nishon right. They needed these guys. Nishon right had five interceptions last year for the bear. I'm sorry. So the Chicago Bears and bringing him in for one year. If he has a good season, you'll reassign him. Is he your number one guy? I don't know. I think he's more of a number two guy. But if he can give you even three interceptions, that's more than sauce gave you before you

trade him. It was more than anybody gave you last year. Belton, Mika Fitzpatrick. All these guys are going to play a big part of where this team goes. Going into the season. I think it has to start with the Titans, which has a crappy offensive line. All right. Let's go to Garrett Wilson now. Superstar or over hyped entering his fifth season. Is Garrett Wilson a top 10 NFL receiver right now? Does he deserve a pass with all the bad quarterback play that they've had? Or does he still have to prove more in this offense, especially the way he was hyping up Frank right? He's a star. I don't know about a superstar. Is he a top 10? He's a top 10 while I receiver in this league. He needs a company quarter. He has Geno Smith now. Geno is a confident quarterback. He can get him the ball. So there's no excuse for Garrett Wilson this year. I don't care if you're double teaming. I don't care. We see Saint Brown getting draft, getting double team all the time and he still catches the ball. He could still run the routes. We've seen Garrett Wilson. There are people that have gone out there and said that Garrett Wilson is the best route runner or one of the top three route runners in the league.

Him and Cooper Cup were like neck neck and neck when he came into the league. Everybody was like, oh, this guy, the catch that he made over here in this video. The guy has unbelievable hands. Unbelievable ability. I don't think we've seen the best of Garrett Wilson. It didn't work with Aaron Rogers. It didn't work with the quarterback Zach Wilson, but does it work with the veteran quarterback that's going to get him into the right places, put him in the right position to succeed? Only time will tell, but if it doesn't, I don't know if it's a bust, but we might never think that Garrett Wilson is a top 10 while I receiver. Maybe that's why they brought in Omar Cooper. Again, it's not taking shots at Garrett Wilson. What it tells me right now is do they have to go after a wide receiver next year's class? Do they have to go all in on Smith if he falls to them and they get two top 10 picks and try to move up to get the guy that they want? Because if Garrett isn't the guy, they need the guy that's going to be that guy that's going to control that one side of the field when you're playing the Patriots and you got to go after, you got to go against one of the best corners in the league as we saw last night.

And Ajigba had his way on certain parts of that defense, but you need that guy that's going to be able to go out there, even if he's double team, he's going to cause havoc on that one side of the field. I think he's a star. I don't think he's a superstar. I think he's a top 15. I don't think he's a top 10. He's made a lot out of really poor quarterback play. He has not had a good quarterback yet in his career, even the Aaron Rodgers thing. I thought it was going to be good and then four plays into the beginning of the season. He terraces of killies and that's the end of that story. The talent is without question there. If he can get decent mediocre quarterback play, he's going to be a bright star for years to come. Now the Frank Wright thing saying that he's going to make up a bell cow and him loving Frank Wright system because he's going to get more targets. Hopefully that plays well for him. He's a great route runner. He gets separation. He should be a dominant force, whether that plays out that way, we'll see. I'm going to tell you this right now.

If it doesn't, the jets are going to go into an offseason thinking is he the guy? Do we move him in the offseason when we decide to bring in a new coach because that could happen. They're paying him a lot of money. He's making $30 million and he still hasn't proven himself. He's had multiple quarterbacks. He had an all world quarterback. Yes, it was Aaron Rodgers, but it wasn't the same Aaron Rodgers, but he still put up pretty decent numbers when he was a jet. It wasn't really that bad. He threw over 3,000 yards. So it's not like Aaron Rodgers couldn't get him the ball. He couldn't get free. So Garwielson needs to find himself this year. He needs to be more of a team leader. He's got to stop bitching to the media because he does a lot of that. And he needs to go out there and show the jet fans why he wanted to be here. So I didn't want to be here. Quentin Williams didn't want to be here. None of these guys wanted to be here. That's why they're gone. Mooji wanted to pay Garwielson because of the things that we've heard about him. The team player that he is, the fact that he wanted to be here. He wanted to play for this team. He wanted to be a part of this organization.

So now he's got to go out there and show people why the jets want him. Why the jets want to keep him on this roster and believe that he is a future. Not one of those guys that we've seen come in and not really achieve what they paid him. Mahamba Wilkinson being one of them. They paid him a lot of money. He had one good season and what happened. He was done. His career was over. And what did the jets have to do? They had a lot of bad luck and a lot of injuries when you name some of these jets. Well, the jets are all about luck. That was going to be great. The jets are always about luck, boy. I mean, if bad luck, look at this. Hey, look at this. The young start quarterback can't stop making out in the night clubs in New York City. You know, and now look at them. Super Bowl champion. Wow. It was Sam Darnel never partied. Zach Wilson loved the party. I love to go to all these stupid little shows, the Broadway shows. The motto. Yeah. And that was another thing. And then he saw ghosts in New England. And everybody made jokes about that.

You would see them too. It was essentially you and me as the offensive line in front of them. I'm just saying. I mean, if you're sitting here as a jet fan and there's a lot of jet shows and they all have excuses and they all say, well, this could be the year. I'm not going to tell you this could be the year. I'm saying that these players have to. These players have to show up weekend and week out and show that they want to be there. If they do that, that's what we want to see. That's all I want to see as a jet fan because that tells me going into the off season next year with money and draft stock. We can change everything for this organization in just two seasons. I want to see some of these exciting young players develop. So I'm looking definitely at the coaching staff to develop something these young guys. All right. Let's go finish one more because we're running low on time here. What record does Aaron Glad need to keep his job seven seven seven. Yeah. Okay. He needs seven. He needs seven wins to keep his job. Borderline eight. That's what he needs to do. No, he needs Johnson. I'd say it's eight. I think seven.

I think seven would prove me prove me as an owner that he's competent enough to take over this roster next year and win more than seven games. If they can win nine or ten games next year with a guy that you can trust at the quarterback position, you put a bunch of pieces around him free agents that next year's free agent class is much better than it was this year. And they've got the money. They have the one of the most in all of the NFL. You're automatically looking at a quite a possibility that the Jets could be a playoff contending team. So the Lions, the Bears, the Packers, they can win one of those games, one of those games out of those three and they beat the Titans. That's two wins two and three right there. Two and three. You go into the proud you can be three and three. So and then they can go ahead and take those three first round picks next year if they could turn those into one all star two starters or yeah, you know, any anything like that. Obviously, it's it's going to build a lot better for the team. I think that Jets will be in a really good position going into the off season with the

money and the draft stock and they'll be coaches. If it is an Aaron Glannon, Woody decides even with seven wins that he wants my Tom and he's buying into the my Tom and the only way he fires Aaron Glannon is if Mike Tom and Gism the okay that he is coming back and he wants to coach this team. That is the only way if he wins seven games, if he wins seven games, the only way he gets fired is if Mike Tomman says to Woody Johnson, I'm in. I want the job. Then he's going to have to fire him. I think he fires him even with eight points, but I don't know if Mike Tomman definitely is going to take the job unless this team shows Mike Tomman all season long. Wow. They've been in every single game. They've got weapons. They've got a young offensive line. They've got two defensive studs on the corner. This team could be really good. All I got to do is take over this team and put somebody, put a real competent young quarterback there and I could win championships here with the New York Chets and winning in New York is winning in New York is like not winning anywhere. You win in New York.

You can pretty much ride yourself to the sunset. As we've seen Jalen Brunson, people are now comparing Jalen Brunson to Derek Jeter. And all these studs that we're, we're Eli Manning winning two super balls with the Giants. They said, who's more, who's more of a hero in New York, New York, New York history? They were ready putting Jalen Brunson there after one championship, guys. One championship. I have this new generation, recency bias fans. I really, I can't stand it. Can't stand them. Just saying, just saying that's what they're doing. Bill the Massachusetts greatest New York athlete of all time. His own father. As already said that he is not better than Patrick, he needs to do more. He needs to go out if he takes this team to the finals again this year, then we could start talking and we could say, okay, this guy's for real. I mean, two years in a row to the NBA finals, even if they lose and they play hard against okay, see or the same, the spurs or whatever it is. And they lose. I mean, then you could start talking, maybe is the greatest nick of all time.

I mean, and, but you see, Wal-Klaive Frazier. He's won two championships. Well, let's read one, two championships. But again, going back to the jets, none of this even compares to the New York jets because the jets haven't been in the playoffs in 16 years. Let's see them make the playoffs. Then we can talk about it. So that's all I'm gonna say. God, give me one more, speak. All right, we'll go for one more. So, yeah, we'll skip the kicker. Let's do the, let's do the health. So, just over that is. Yes, Blake Rupi just saying the legend, but the health of Joseph Asai, you're talking about it with the rotation with the past restors too. Bree Sol, you talked about it already, but also Kenyne Sadeek and their backup running back, I say a Davis. Kenyne Sadeek, this wasn't gonna be the year for him. I want everybody to understand. He ran the 40 at the combine with a hernia, with a hernia, and he ran it in record breaking time, okay? He broke Vernon's 40 yard dash. He broke it.

He's strong, powerful, gifted. It's gonna be next year. That's why everybody keeps talking about Dante more. It will be next year where we know what Kenyne Sadeek is going to be. I'm not worried about Kenyne Sadeek's injury. I want him to get better. I don't want to rush him in. I think he's special. I think he's gonna be a game-changing type of guy in the end zone. He's a blocker. He's a beast. He can jump. He can do all that stuff. So, no. Joseph Asai, this is what the Bengals didn't want to extend him. The Bengals did not trust that this guy was gonna be healthy. He's a great player. He really is. He could be a pro-ball player if he can stay in these games. He's a good pass, rusher. You could put him out linebacker inside and out. You can do a lot of things with Joseph Asai. But the problem with him is he can't stay healthy. And again, DeAngelo Ponds, that's the guy that I wanted to see this year, and we don't know when he is going to play. He is gonna play a big factor in that secondary. But this secondary becomes, at one point, what we saw, Cromardy and Rebus, he's gonna

have to play that big level part of this secondary. Thomas, he got hurt last year. He's coming back into a season where the jetstrapped him in the third round, expected him to do big things. He did not look good in certain games against better offenses. So, I want to see these guys show up. So, to me, it's health with these guys. The whole Kingsley and these guys got to prove themselves. The right thing, these guys are signed for one year deals. They just need to go out there and prove themselves so they get their contract. And the jets will extend them if they have good seasons. Yeah, I agree with you, Kenny Sedeek. I figured it might as well be a red shirt year for him. Whatever you get out of him is gonna be a bonus. If he can stay healthy throughout the year and you get production out of him, that's great. But I think I agree with you next year is probably the year for him. So Joseph Asaithing and Ponds to that effect are gonna be key players. Their health is like an integral part of this defense getting anything out of this defense.

You need those guys to show up. You need them to be healthy. So I think it's a much bigger concern if J.O.'s not healthy and Ponds, he's got to get healthy soon, hopefully. Because the way they talk about him, he's a game record. But if he's not gonna be on the field, then it doesn't matter. They're gonna need him very, very badly this year, especially against some of the teams that they're up against. The Lions, which is week three, they're gonna need him against a guy like Brown, who they like to put in the slot. They like to move him around the field. You put Ponds there to kind of really disrupt his route running. I mean, then we can really see why Ponds could have been a first round talent. And a lot of people say he is arguably the best defensive back in this draft. You know, he was why he wasn't drafted in the first round because he's five foot eight. So we will see. 49ers and the Rams, two pretty heavy favorites. The Rams is the biggest favorite and the 49ers, definitely one of them in the NFC West. So a lot of injury news with the 49ers, but Christian McAfry is active. George Kittle and Mike Evans, also both active, after they are dealing with injuries, they

will travel. And this is where it gets interesting. This travel battle scenario, the 49ers arriving last week while the Rams, they've done this for a while and it's been successful. They usually get there right at the brink of time. They make a work again in the first ever NFL game in Australia playing on a cricket field tonight with these two star studded teams. The 49ers and the Rams are two great teams. One that doesn't ever opera scholar anymore. This is a new defense. Well, same defense, but a new defensive coordinator going against an ultra new and I say ultra new defense of the Rams. You added miles, Garrett in the off season and one of the best corners in the NFL, one of the better slot corners, which I expect McDuffie to be a number one as we move forward this season. The Rams have all the missing pieces they had last year going against the Seattle Sea Hawks in the NFC title game. They have a chance now where they can absolutely win the Super Bowl. And now they added Aaron Donald who's not moving. He's not in Australia. He didn't travel with the team.

He is making $20 million. But I expect I expect that this defense is going to be elite all season long. And with Matthew Stafford, as long as they can protect Matthew Stafford, which is offensive line did very well last year. They have a running game. They have Williams. They have Karim. They have guys that can run the ball. And they got Devonte Adams and they have arguably the most controversial, probably most talented wide receiver in all of the NFL and Pukinakua. So they've got everything to win a championship this year. But can they put it all together? Aaron, having Aaron Donald come back and only tells you one thing. He's thinking ring. They're thinking ring. Miles Garrett's thinking ring. That's why they made the trade. That's why they made the move. Traded away the draft picks in and one of their better young players to add a Miles Garrett because Miles Garrett's not getting any younger. Miles Garrett's going on 30 years old. He's making a lot of money. He's making over $40 million. They expect to it's either championship or bust. And is this the last year for the last stand for Matthew Stafford after what we've seen

with Simpson? And I told everybody, Ty Simpson is going to be really, really good when he goes up. He's over there with Nick Vey. Ty Simpson has a chance with Sean McVey and this talent around him to be the starting quarterback in a year, maybe two years time. I saw Matthew Stafford. He's got four daughters. He's won his MVP. He's won his championship. If he wins again, I think he rides off into the sunset. So you'll look at the roster. You look at the teams. Remember, the Rams are going into season where Kubiak has a chance. And I'll say this again. Kubiak has a chance to really prove himself as a stud coordinator and maybe get a job. You saw his brother. His brother just got a job over there with the Raiders. And now Kubiak has a chance. And I'm pretty sure Kubiak is the Klai Kubiak. Like Klai Kubiak is the defensive coordinator, right? Offensive. Offensive coordinator. Yeah. Of course, Shula is the defensive coordinator for the Rams. For the Rams, yeah. Right. So Kubiak, he could be up for a job next year. There's a lot. I should have been this year, I think.

I thought he was going to get a job before his brother did. Yeah. But he's going to get, he's going to get an opportunity. He's been with Sean McVeigh for a while. This is a team. This is probably the best team the Rams have had since their championship year when they brought in Jalen Ramsey, when they brought in the players at the Odele Beckams. They brought in these guys to help them win a championship. They went all the way to Super Bowl Odele went down early in the game, but they pulled it off. They beat the Bengals, a young Bengals team. I know, I know you said, Speedy, that you have the Bengals against the Rams in the Super Bowl. Yes. For your rematch, which quite possibly could happen because guess where the Super Bowl is going to be again in LA. So I mean, it's crazy to see, it's crazy to argue and it's crazy to think about, but think about this. If you're a Rams fan, you have to be excited that Aaron Donald comes back. And even if you don't get the best of Aaron Donald until week seven, week eight, even if you get a half Aaron, Aaron Donald, maybe you say get a quarter Aaron Donald early in the season, you still have a beast of a man coming off the line with Miles Garrett.

You could put him on the same side as Miles Garrett, where you got a double, double one guy and can't double the other. Or you put him on the other side where you're going to have to double one and you can't double the other. That's automatically going to give you an advantage automatically. So I mean, watch out for the Rams. I like the 49ers. You have Bocha coming back, Bocha's a beast, coming back from an ACL tear that was in horrendous. They have one of the best linebackers in the lead coming back. So they've got those guys, they're going to be still in elite defense this year is Brock Pertie the guy. We're going into a season without Kyle Shanahan. They have not got into a season without Kyle Shanahan in a very long time. Kyle Shanahan, we don't know when he's coming back. He could be back in a week. He could be back in nine. He might not be back this year. What is this 49er team without Kyle Shanahan? And does this prove to the 49ers that they can't do without Kyle Shanahan? But if they win without Kyle Shanahan, what does that tell you now?

It's not Kyle Shanahan's the talent around them. So this is an opportunity to see, can you win without Kyle Shanahan? That's where I think that this. And if the 49ers pull off a win tonight. If they pull off a win in Australia, it's a huge win, a huge win because everybody expects the Rams with their record. Wait, set up for them to win the first five six games and it's not even going to come close. So very, very interesting. You have everybody keeps talking about Seattle. What they did last night with a backup quarterback. We'll get into the same Donald thing in just a few moments. And I just think that this team is by far the best team in their division. A couple things. Shanahan is in Australia. Yeah, but he's not he's not coaching. I don't think he's coaching. I'm pretty sure he's coaching tonight, but I know he's in Australia. So he's definitely still around the team. This 49ers team, you mentioned a couple things about, you know, the Rams are getting older. I mean, this 49ers team is old. They're getting older.

And this honestly, if this year doesn't go well for them, you're looking at probably a rebuild. So if Brock Pertie's not the guy, Mike Evans is getting older. George Kiddell is getting old. He's coming off of a major injury. Both as coming off a major injury. Their best linebackers coming off a major injury. CMC has been able to stay healthy. If he stays healthy, obviously he's a dynamic player. So like you got a lot of question marks on the San Francisco side with health. If they can stay healthy, they're going to keep it a competitive game. Ultimately, I think the Rams are going to win tonight. I think the Rams are, you know, the toast of the NFC currently. And I think that they set out the off season to make a point that they were going to de-throne the Seahawks. And I think that they on paper, they made that point. Now they got to play the game. They don't have Robert Salah too. Robert Salah is now the Titans head coach. So Robert Salah, that defense, which was game changing defense, even with the injuries that I let you. Yes, it's the same scheme.

It's the other legendary head coach, Rahim Morris now over there. And Rahim Morris is a good defensive coin. But he's not Robert Salah. Salah is a great defensive coinator. He's just not any good as a head coach. But you already seen that Nick Bose is causing havoc. And if Nick Bose is causing havoc tonight and they can block him, that's going to be a problem for the Rams. And again, San Francisco has got a good defense. As good as the Rams defense is and everybody keeps talking about Miles Garrett and McDuffy, this defense is just as good. I mean, they have two old pro guys, two guys that can get at you. A defensive player of the year coming back from injury. They've got guys up the middle that can kill you and they've got a good secondary. They've always had a good center. Health is just their biggest concern and always is, right? Yes. And again, the 49ers are going into a season where this could be a make a break year for a guy like Kyle Shanahan. No matter if Kyle Shanahan's coaching a knot or not tonight, this is a year where Kyle needs to get this team in the playoffs.

This is a division that you can argue is the best division in football. When you have the Rams, you have Seattle and you have them, the Super Bowl championship, Seattle Seahawks who actually pulled off a win last night against a team that was out playing them in the first half. So with a backup quarterback, which is pretty amazing the way they did it. So the 49ers need a lot to go right for them this year for them to make the playoffs. Because I think the two better teams ahead of them are the Rams in Seattle. It's not going to be easy this year. We're not going to see a lot of losses. Even with Sam Donald, possibly going to be gone for about two or three weeks, I still think they can win with the lock. I think they can win with lock as they prove last night against a very good Patriot team, a Patriot team that went to a Super Bowl last year. So you can argue whatever you want. Yeah, defense is so good. That defense is so good as long as they don't turn the ball over. They should be fine. Even without Sam Donalds, even without Sam Donalds. So I think they're the third best team in his division. So they got to win at least 10 games to sneak into the playoffs.

Thank you. You got anything else to say? No? Lost. I agree with you. I think, yeah, San Francisco just health is their biggest concern. They're playing for third place in that division. Seattle is still going to be Seattle and Rams are. I think the 49ers are the third best team in the division. But that doesn't mean they're not a playoff team. I think this is as far as the teams coming out of the NFC, I think all three of these teams should come out. I mean, CMC, we know he's going to have a good year. We all know the problem with that is what you know with the AFC, right? You said the AFC is a nine win team is probably going to get in the playoffs in the NFC. A 10 win team is probably going to not make the playoffs. And Brock Birdie is going to have to have a good season. Brock Birdie, everybody says he's a top 10 quarterback. Well, he's going to have to prove it this year. Kyle Shane here, no Kyle Shane, he's going to have to go out there and prove his worth. He made a lot of money last off season.

He is a high paid quarterback now. He needs to go out there and continue to flourish as a player and depend on the talent that he has around him. I think Brock Birdie can't. I'm not going to say that Brock Birdie can't be that player. But he needs to do it at a high level all season long. If he wants to compete with the Seattle team that I think is better than them and a Rams team that's better than them. All right, let's go to those Seattle sea hawks. They win and defend their title in the Super Bowl rematch and other Super Bowl rematch. They've done about four times in the last 10 years. 13-10 come back victory over the Patriots. They were down to nothing like how you were saying Sam Donald went down in the first quarter with the right hit in place. First five plays, very jet like. Yes, very jet like. As we showed the model, nuclear, no subscribe before. Dre Montzones, former sea hawk with the hit on Donald and that one. No fracture was in Donald's hit for further evaluation, but he's still unlikely to play in week two as well. But he might be back in week three. AJ Brown also suffering a San Anklandry in the third quarter. Kills me. Three catches for 26 yards before leaving in that game.

Got a big play in that. But it definitely affected the Patriots often. Strait may have three interceptions, including the game ceiling pick in the fourth quarter. Brilliant play by Josh Job. The toe tap, practically in that match. And now the sea hawks become of the 60 Super Bowl champion team, the 48th team that have won their week one matchup. Dobbs looked horrible last night. They brought in Dobbs from the Green Bay Packers. He was horrible. Couldn't catch the ball, dropped the ball a couple of times. He just looked really, really bad. Without AJ Brown, you can see that this, this offense is going to be stagnant. It's going to be stagnant. They're only going to be able to run the ball, which Stevenson ran the ball pretty well. As I saw Mikey C. had Stevenson, he started Stevenson last night who gave him a 13 points in his fantasy league. So good for him, but it didn't help them. The first half they looked like they were dominating. Drake may didn't make any mistakes. And then the second half he threw three interceptions. He looked really, really bad. He last year was the first time. Last year, the first time he threw multiple interceptions in a game was in the Super Bowl.

In the Super Bowl. So the first game of this season, he threw multiple interceptions. Just think about that. He never did that in the regular season last year. He was up for an MVP, he was running it up right behind Matthew Stafford. And I told everybody this schedule is not going to be so easy. It's not a hard schedule. I think the jet schedule is harder than their schedule, but it's not an easy schedule like it was last year. There are automatically O and one. They're going into the second week where there's a lot of pressure and they don't have their number one guy. AJ Brown, it could be out for a significant portion of the season. You can miss like six weeks. So you're depending on dobs now. You traded Mr. Booty. Mr. Booty. He's gone. He's with the Texans. So what are you going to do? Who's your number two? You don't even have a number two now. So Stafford Diggs probably would have looked pretty good if you had him over there with AJ Brown. I just, it doesn't look good for the Patriots right now. It doesn't. I don't care when anybody says you can sit there and make excuses. As far as Sam Donald's concern, I don't think it's a big deal.

It wasn't a year changing injury. If it was, they'd be looking for a quarterback. I'm changing McCarthy. It could be a name as they decided to go with JJ McCarthy over Sam Donald. Who knows? He could be available at the trade deadline. But Sam Donald, they're saying probably misses one to two weeks. I don't see him missing more than two weeks. The offensive line played great. Their defense played great. I think they played dominantly against a Patriot team that has a very good defense. And by the way, Jackson Smith, the jigbo still had a great game. Still have a hundred yards. Still had a, I think he had a touchdown. I mean, he was unbelievable. You don't need Sam Donald to get him the ball. He makes me sick. I played him in my fantasy league. He gave whoever I played against, Kelly's whatever. 27 points. 27 points in one game. And it's scary how good Jackson Smith and the jigbo is. It wasn't his best game.

He didn't run the, the best routes. But he just did enough to help his team win. Cooper cop played well yesterday. I mean, all these secondary players played very well for them. Job who I liked him in the draft. He fell in the draft and you can see why. And by the way, your guy, your safety over there. Love. I mean, yeah. Another guy that the Giants drafted a couple of years ago, he, the Giants let him go. Just like Leonard Williams, eventually they traded Leonard Williams to Seattle. You see how important Leonard Williams is and look at love. Love has become one of the leaders of that team in that secondary had an interception last night against Drake May. And you can see why this team just plays at such a high level. AJ Brown is the thing that is really worrisome because this is a guy that plays injured every single year. Doesn't really get hurt. And automatically in game number one, high ankle spraining, it could be out four weeks, five weeks. Who knows when he comes back? I mean, and you gave up a first round draft pick in 2028 for this guy. That is a huge loss.

You lost for me and one of my fantasy leagues. And I know everybody sitting there is like, who cares about your fantasy league? I do. This is a huge, huge loss for Drake May. Yeah, I think that the, what I take away from last night's game is that's the best defense. The Patriots are probably going to play all year. And it very much their defense is still intact. Their defense is still good. Drake May had new skilled skilled position players and his best player was out early. So Romeo Dobbs spent a lot of time talking in the off season. How he's going to have a big year, how he deserves this money that he got. He got the money and unfortunately he didn't show up. And then after the game was over, he says that he wasn't locked in after having five drops in the game, three of them in very key moments in key spots. You're not locked in for that game. Is this a joke? You, you, you, you postured for this money. You get your money.

And now you're going to say that you weren't locked in for the first week one. It's week one against a super bowl champ that they just lost to and you're not locked in that does not bode well for, for him, him in the, the patriot way. And I, you know, the defense is going to keep them in games. I'm sorry. I don't think they don't have they have the skilled position players to, to run it up. I think Seattle is very much still Seattle without, without Darnell. If you lose them for a couple of weeks, their running games going to be the running game. The offensive line is good. Their defense is, you know, the best in the league for a reason. And I think they're going to be just fine. Losing booty for trading him after thinking that Romeo Dobbs was going to be the guy. I mean, that's a huge loss. Who going into a season where there was a lot of questions in your, your wide receiving room and you bring in Romeo Dobbs. You bring in a guy like, you brought in AJ Brown, a, a pure number one. AJ Brown goes down to Romeo Dobbs says he wasn't all in.

So booty goes over there to the Texans. You gave up. You brought in a safety that probably doesn't even start on your team this year on, on your secondary. And you lose an important offensive option that Drake May was really leaning on all season long, including in the playoffs. So you lost a guy that you could have on the roster. And now that AJ Brown could be gone, a significant portion of the season, you're not in a good state of mind. And honestly, if I am the, if I'm AJ Brown, or if I am the New England Patriots, I'm wondering, should we have done more in the off season? Should we have paid Romeo Dobbs? Romeo Dobbs is not worth the money they got. It was just nobody available, nobody good out. And that was another thing. They didn't want to pay Gonzales because they gave Romeo Dobbs all that money. Think about that. Gonzales was waiting for his money because they overpaid Romeo Dobbs. So think about that. And now you go into game one of the season against the defending championship, champions, the

same team that beat you in the Super Bowl last year. Why? Because you had no weapons for Drake May. And Drake May was really just out of sort in the second half of the game. You could see his dead, his head was in his, between his legs all every single time he was pulled off the field. You can see it. You could see that the coaches were going up to him. You could see that. Frey Bull was trying to sit with them and try to give him encouragement. You can see that when you were expected this year to be a game changing year, you had a, you had an MVP season last year with nobody. And yes, your season was easy and you had a great, you had a great easy season. You had a great schedule. But now you have a guy like AJ Brown, who you thought you were going to have a guy that was going to give you 12, 1300 yards and then you're going to spread out your offense with Romeo Dobbs and the running team, the way you're going to run the ball and your offensive line and the defense playing as at a high level like you did last year. You thought, oh, we're Super Bowl Abust. Now you're going into a season where you're unsure if you're even going to make the playoffs, the playoffs. So think about that and watching this night's game, Seattle in the second half, just they

are the better team. They look like why they want a Super Bowl last year and they, they just when they needed to dial down, you see McDonald get this team playing at a high level. It was impossible. And by the way, they have a new offensive coin area that's never been an offensive coin area. And he automatically lost his starting quarterback in five plays and had Drew Locke as his quarterback and he still found a way to win. He still found a way to get the ball to Jackson Smith and the jig butt. He still found a way to run the ball with their his young rookie running back. So that says a lot about this Seattle team and they still found a way to come back. Ten to nothing in the first half. And everybody sitting there and saying, well, the, the, the Patriots still have a chance to be a contender this year. Really? Owl. What, what makes you think the Patriots are going to be a contending team if they play like that in the second half? They're defense. I think they're defense. That's fine. Uh, I, they didn't play Sam Darnold in the second half. They did play San Varnal. The whole game. Could you imagine if Sam Darnold played that whole game?

What the score would have been? The score. First of all, Jackson Smith, the jig butt probably has a 50 point game. 50 point game. And by the way, Cooper Cup had a touchdown that was taken away because they shifted two players shifted the running back and him shifted when they were on the, what, the 10 yard line or 11 yard line. That was a touchdown. If, if they weren't screaming for that, the game would have been completely over. All right. Uh, to me, they were completely outplayed in the second half. And I'm not taking shots at the Patriots. I think the Patriots still have a chance to be a playoff contending team. I just, there's going into an off season where you had your coach in the tabloids with everything that was going on. And then you make that move for AJ Brown. You bring in a controversial wide receiver that wasn't getting along with one of his best friends in Jalen Hertz on the Eagles. You bring him in. He was talking, you're bringing Romeo doves. He's talking. You paid these guys and then you're bringing Christian Gonzalez. You, by the way, he was back and forth on Jackson Smith, the jig butt.

Don't you think? And I'm going to say this because I'm not a coach in the NFL. You just paid a guy the most money you've ever give a corner in NFL history. Why isn't he on Jackson Smith, the jig butt, the whole game? I want to know. Why isn't. Why aren't you putting him in the slot? Why aren't you putting him on the outside? Wherever Jackson Smith, the jig butt is, you should be putting Christian Gonzalez. Well, that's kind of like the dig on these top, these top corners. Like they don't travel. Right? There's, there's like they just don't. Daryl, you just did, don't even notice it. But like a lot of players don't like Richard Sherman didn't travel. Richard Sherman played one side of the field. That was it. You know, when they started lining Smith and jig butt up in the, in the slot. Alas wasn't, wasn't shading into the, into the, the nickel spot. So, you know, I, I get what you're saying. Your best player should be following their best player. No, no, doubt about it. Thank you. No doubt about it. He's your best player. And you, and everybody

knows Christian Gonzalez is the best player on that team. I don't think there's an argument to that, especially on that defense without him that defense is second tier at best. And he plays at such a high level when he was playing Jackson Smith, the jig, but he was really blanket in him. The Jackson Smith, the jig book couldn't catch the ball. And you knew that he was the killer. He was the guy that was going to sink you all the way to the ground. Why aren't you putting Christian Gonzalez on him? I'm sorry. I'm telling my best guy to play their best guy and play one on one. And whoever's better that day wins. That's the way I play. And I'm, if I'm Mike Rayboi, shame on Mike Raybo not to do that. Shame on Mike Raybole because he caused his team a win. Because if you stock, if you stop Jackson Smith, the jig book, there's no way they win. There's no way they win that game. There's no way the touchdown he scored was like a busted busted coverage. But he was like running in between players like 30 yards. There was guys chasing them. I mean, it was a 50 yard run. It was 50 yards almost. He ran 45 yards on that catch in that touchdown. He embarrassed

them. He embarrassed a defense that was in elite defense last year. And again, Christian Gonzalez, you paid him a lot of money. You wanted to make sure that he got paid before the season started. What was it? A couple of days before the season started. I'm having him on the best player. You can argue the best wide receiver in the world. That's what I'm doing. I want to show everybody why we paid him that kind of look at this. It was broken offensive and defensive player of the year. Do you see Christian Gonzalez anywhere close to Jackson Smith, the jig book on this play? Do you see him anywhere? No, where? He's nowhere. That wasn't him that missed. Yeah. That wasn't him that missed attack. No, he was on the other side of the field. And they know that they knew that he was. That's why they gave him the ball. And that's why every time you saw Gonzalez on him, they barely threw the ball to him. That's what you should have done last night. That to me is the game plan, especially with the back of quarterback in, right? Yes. Why even play that game? I

was just, I couldn't fathom. And when the second half started and you're up 10 to nothing, I'm like, Mike's telling him, I'm Mike Raybomb. I'm going up to Christian. I'm like, you're the guy. Go shut him down. You're the guy. Go shut him down. Let's go win this game tonight and shut everybody up. We did lose AJ. I mean, if you're Christian Gonzalez, you're licking your chops. You're hoping Drew Lock throws a ball. You're away. You know what I mean? I think he intercepts that ball. If he's on a guy like Jackson, it was a floppy pass. A lot of the passes that Drew Lock threw was not very good spirals. They were bad. It just Jackson Smith and Jigbo is that good. Cooper Cup is great. Everybody that thinks Cooper Cup is washed up. I mean, go watch the catch as he made last night. And he's not washed up. He's still a fairly, fairly good wide receiver. Good number two on any other roster. So for anybody to think that he's done, you know, fantasy league, you should be picking him up. That's, that's my, my answer to that. All right. Let's move on to a team that's pretty far from the Super Bowl right now. That's the Las Vegas Raiders Brock Bowers dealing with a knee injury that reportedly came out.

It was a Mniskis injury last week. And then all of a sudden decided to get surgery right at the end of the preseason out of nowhere. I'm a Mniskis trim procedure. So he will be out at least multiple weeks to at the minimum, maybe more than that. The injury is concerning because Bowers also having only 12 games played last year with a knee injury. And he said many injury issues in college as well. 64 catches 680 yards and 7 touchdowns last year after a big rookie year. But this injury also raised a bigger question for the NFL, which has three preseason games now. They cut it down to it. And there's already been a lot of load management in the preseason as it is, like with the potential expansion 18 game season, do they have to maybe make a change to the preseason as well as all these injuries to players already going down? They're not going to do it. They're not going to do it. The NFL has taken as many preseason games they wanted to take out. They want to add another game because they want to make more money. They're not going to take any more pre-season away from a way to make money in the off season. They're making, they're still making a ton of money off those preseason games. Why would they take it away? And here's the thing. Brock Bowers going down,

not surprising. He was hurt a couple of years in Georgia. He's a great player. Everybody knows. He can run the ball. He can catch the ball. He can block. He's probably the best tight and we've seen in a very, very long time when we're trying to compare him to some of the greats, the Kelsey's of the world, the Kittles of the world. He might be better than all of them. But guess what? We might never see the great, the great Bowers play at such a high level because he can't stay healthy. And you bring in a guy like Fernando Mendoza, who is a great player. Fernando Mendoza is a great, great quarterback. And we want to see the best players on the field so we can see him at his best. Genties going into a season, not 100%. Brock Bowers is going into a season that he's out now. Your two best offensive options are not 100% healthy. What does that tell you? Clint Kubiak is going to a team that is not the Seattle Seahawks. I'm sorry, they're not. They have offensive line woes. I don't believe in the offensive line. They're going to have to restructure and rebuild it. He's going to have to do that. Clint Kubiak is not going into a team

and a roster where he has a Mike McDonald there that's going to help the defense play at such a high level. He is an offensive coordinator. And this defense besides Crosby, nobody scares me. I'm sorry. Look at the team. Look at the roster. Does anybody scare you on this defense? No. So Clint Kubiak taking this job. I understand why he took this job. They had the number one pick. He had Fernando Mendoza. Everybody thinks that Fernando Mendoza could be special. I think he could be special. But if he doesn't have an offensive line, he doesn't have what I receive. Or is what special, what special is he? How special is he going to be? And here's another thing they had Chikobi Myers last year. They had him. What did they do? They traded him. They traded in the Jacksonville. How did that make sense? You just you going into a season where there's just so many questions to the the Raiders and then you lose your best or you can argue your best offensive option. And how does this help? Gentie this year. If Brock Bowers doesn't come back until week five and they're saying he could be out of significant portion of time.

Everybody's going to stack the box. That's what they're going to do. They're going to say, okay, you want to beat us, Gentie? Beat us on the outside. Outrun us on the outside. Go beat our our talented athletic corners or safeties. Go ahead, Beatta. And and and Gentie had problems last year and a first half of the season. I know Adam. I'm on my fantasy team. Fantasy team. I have a mom on my fantasy fantasy fantasy teams right now. That's a lot of pressure on a young rookie while second year running back. And again, their offensive line is not very good. So I losing Brock Bowers. It's a horrible horrible loss. And and again, I've been saying this and I'll say it again. They should be changing the field to grass. This turf thing is ridiculous. Spend the money. The NFL. You're paying this guy. You're paying the commissioner of football. 54 60 million. Whatever you're paying. I'm 60 70 million. Whatever he's making. It takes five million dollars on each field to fix to and and the well keep for a season.

Five million dollars. You're going to tell me you can't how many teams are there in the NFL. 30 32 32. So 32 teams. Five million dollars. What's five million times 32? Does anybody have a number? 150 is 30. So that would be 160. 160 million dollars. You're going to tell me 160 million dollars is a lot of money for the NFL. It's worth it. That is a that is a more than reasonable expense. It's an investment. Yes, absolutely. It's an investment. You just lost Brock Bowers because of the field and I'm telling you it's because of the field. Their new field laws Vegas. Let me tell you guys something. That is all turf. It's not grass. It's turf. The Super Bowl was played a couple of years ago on turf and Drey Greenlaw suffered a injury just going on to the field. Going on to the field from San Francisco, right? It was San Francisco. You tore his Achilles. Literally just running onto the field to get in the hospital. It is turf. How many times do I have to tell people how many times do I have to tell the NFL that this is this is the best investment

you can do for your best superstar players. Invest into your players. Invest into your product and investing it. Well, who do we have a Palo Palo? He was on the show and I remember Palo and we went back and forth and I said, what would you rather play on grass or turf? He says, well, listen, turf makes you faster. He says you run faster on turf, but he said safer on grass. He says that honestly, my best games were on grass, but I couldn't I couldn't tell you if I wanted to play on turf for grass when I was playing at a high level. But he says, if you want to keep a player in the game, you take turf out of the game. That's what he said. And I understand what all these people and all these owners are going to say, well, you know, it's not feasible. This that is not feasible. You're going to pay a commissioner $70 million a year and me and you can do the job, me and you can sell the product, me and you can go out there and commission what what sponsor is

going to make us the most money. Why the hell are we paying this guy $70 million? You can pay me and you $10 million and they'd be damn happy with the work that we do. To me, it's pathetic. Pain job. It's the same job. You want to sit there and tell me, well, it's not that easy. You got to read contracts. You think he reads contracts. He's got like seven or eight guys reading his contracts. That guy doesn't need to be his biggest biggest problem is PR nightmares, right? How many people on his PR team are there that put out the fires on a daily basis and he's just overseeing it at least 10 of them at least 10 of them. He's got here. Each team has two PR guys. I know that because I've been reaching out to some of these teams and then blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. I'm not going to sit here and make excuses. God dick to the point of changing the preseason, the preseason's already been changed, right? Remember the days of like they play one series of the first game. They play one quarter of the second game by the fourth game. They play like three quarters of the game, right? Gearing up for the season. They don't even do that anymore. Most teams don't play their starters very much at all in the preseason. You don't really see them out there anymore. You see

them like in the third game for like a quarter. Maybe if they have a young team, they play them for the half, but like they don't they don't gear them up that like build up their reps that way. Like they used to anymore. So like, what is there to change in the preseason? There's really nothing to change. Speedy on the Bragg Bowers victory. It's unfortunate. But to be perfectly honest, Mendoza is not starting to start the year. No, I'll end up getting started by the by the middle of the year. Probably just Kurt Cousins. We don't expect much out of them. The offense aligns not good. The skilled players. There's not many there. I keep them out. I wouldn't let them play with Bowers with Bowers not just not starting the year. You're not losing anything because you want them to be healthy when you when your young quarterback ends up going into the game. So hopefully by mid season, you got the hours in there and you got Mendoza getting his start. But genty, you know, he struggled last year early, but also he had Chip Kelly. As soon as they got rid of Chip Kelly, he started playing a lot better. So I think that he'll be okay. He's very talented. He's going to he'll have a good year as long as he can stay healthy. I mean, the offense aligns

nothing to write home about. They're not very good. They're not. But you know, he just needs a little bit of a window with the skill. I feel bad for Kurt Cousins. I feel bad for him. I'm why he he's pretty much going on. He has a lot of money. It's been a lot of money. It's career. So what? I think Kurt Cousins has been on a feasible quarterback in this league. I mean, Archie, the hammer and sometimes you're the nail. Well, he's the man he's here. He's the man he's always the nail everywhere. He's gone. He's been the nail. I feel bad for Kurt. He goes into all these. He's in those quarterback neck flicks shows and those documentaries. And I love honestly, I like his personality. I like that. His wife picks out his clothes and he's a good dad. I like a lot of things about Kurt Cousins. He seems like a really down to earth guy, but he always gets the bad stick. And now he goes over there to Vegas and he says, listen, the best guy should be playing. And he was playing for that that top position. That's why he went to Vegas. And I remember when when the whole conversation was happening when he, him and Crosby were fighting on a practice field and Tom Brady pulled him to the side and I was reading something that

Tom says, you're our guy. He actually believed it. There was no way he was going to be the guy. You're going into it. You're going into a season when you have the high smithrofie winner, the national champion who did everything right last year, including winning a high smithrofie and sat there and just said everything right before he was drafted. And the family life that he has and everything like that, you think that you're going to just just win the job over him. The only reason why you won the job is he puts his hand on your shoulder and you look in those eyes and he tells you you're the guy. You know his line. You know his line. You know his line. I don't know Tom Brady personally. I really don't. Do I like Tom Brady? No. How could I like Tom Brady when I've been a jet fan my whole life and watched him in Bill Bellichek just completely run over my team? I never liked him. But what I could tell you about Tom Brady is that Tom Brady is one of those guys that you have to respect. You cannot make or break and say something about him where you can't say that he's talented or he hasn't. He's not considered one of the best players, one of the

greatest quarterbacks ever played because he's won seven championships and actually won his seventh championship with another team. So a team that hasn't won a championship since Warren Saps. So you can't sit there and say well Tom Brady wasn't great. Now Tom Brady's always going to ride that and so we'll ground Kowski because they did it without Bill Bellichek. But I will tell you this. Clinton, Clint Kubiak is a dead duck. He is a dead duck over there because I don't think Tom Brady knows what he's doing. He's like Michael Jordan. He's never he thinks by only 10% of a team or whatever percentage he owns from that team. He's the greatest quarterback to ever play the game that he can go in there and take over and be a GM or be an executive that it can run an organization and pretty much was he a part of that trade that crossbeard that absolutely terrible trade that trading him to Baltimore. Was he a part of that because he had to be if that trade almost went through. So it was one of the worst trades and one of the worst back. You know what did they call it? Baxies. Yeah

and he's definitely a part of it because it was his trainer that caused the problems. So think about it. So he was a part of that horrible trade horrible trade that could have cost his team to first round draft picks by the way to first round draft picks. And and I just I just think it's a poorly. It just tells me that all these ex athletes think that after they're done running an organization after after they're done building an organization and winning with an organization and being a great athlete and one of the greatest in your professional sports. Like for instance, Mario Lemieux. Mariela Mue was a good executive. But guess what? You know what? Mario Lemieux got. He was handed Crosby. He was he was handed. Malkin. He was handed those guys. The NHL handed. Mario Lemieux. Those two guys and everybody keeps saying, well, Steve Iseman. Look at Steve Iseman. Steve Iseman went over there. He helped build that Tampa Bay team. He never won a championship.

They won a championship when he left. Think about that. They won championships after he left. Buck Schoelalter. Remember him. Oh yeah. Remember him. That's legend. Buck Schoelalter. Great, great manager. He's gone. Went to Baltimore, built a team. They didn't win a championship. Texas. He leaves. They won a championship. He's a coastal world series with Washington. I mean, Arasona. Arizona. The Yankees. Yeah. He leaves it. He leaves it 95 96. Joe Torrey takes over. Yeah. It's crazy. We're not. And I'm not saying that Tom Brady is a coach, but I'm Magic Johnson thought he could coach before after he became an executive. Then he went back to be an executive. I mean, Magic Johnson was all over the place with the Lakers. He was the one who drafted one of the balls. That's that's the truth. He drafted Lonzo Ball. It wasn't a really good move. You also drafted a draft of Julius Rental. And I didn't last that long with

Kobe Bryant. So what I'm trying to say here is there are players that after their careers, they think that they can run an organization. They could be broadcasters. Play by play guys. They're just not good. Drew breeze tried to do it last year with NBC. He tried to do the Sunday night show. I think it was last last year. And in the beginning of season, he eventually became a play by play guy for CBS. And I think that's what he's going to do this year. And he's helping coaches sons right now football team. But what I'm trying to say is just because you were good NFL player or you were you were a superstar player and one of the greatest at your position. Doesn't mean that you can run an organization. Doesn't mean that you have the best ideas that's going to help the organization grow. And our Davis is no longer there anymore. It's Mark Davis running that organization. Mark Davis needs it. He needs a good haircut. He's another Bill Bellagin. Davis who thinks who thinks that his his his significant others with him for love. Yes.

Yes. She said that she didn't know that he was he was who was better was wealthy when they met. Does anybody look at Mark Davis's face? I mean, I mean, listen, speedy is a super model to mark Davis. Speedy is a super model to mark Davis. And that's not taking shots at speedy. He be a super model to mark Davis. So you can't honestly tell me his woman who's light like with anybody else is 25 years old. She's sexy as hell. And I'm no fans. I have my girlfriend's listening to it. But she's hot. Yeah. And and and you sit there and you tell me well, she didn't know who I was. Get the hell out of here. She looked you up on social media. She knows who you are. Who doesn't know you and who you are in Vegas with that haircut. Come on. Come on. I mean, that's I do that. Mollets needs to go. I mean, that's a horrible, horrible hairdo. And he tells me like Jim Carrey's haircut in the dumb and dumb. It's worse than that. It's

worse than that. I mean, funny funny story is is I never talked to Mark Davis, but I've talked to a lot of people that know Mark Davis. And we've had some of them on the show. And they all say that Mark Davis is a lot nice guy. He's pretty outgoing guy. He's completely opposite of who his father was. Let me ask you guys a question. Why would Mark Davis go to X NFL players and ask them for 10% of the money to keep this team going if he never had it. Think about it. You you go to Tom Brady. He gave you $150 million or whatever. He go to Tom Brady. He went to Tom Brady. No, he went to Tom Brady. He went to multiple players. It wasn't he didn't just didn't bring Tom Brady as a party. He brought another NFL player and X NFL player. And he brought I think he brought another I know athlete. I know like Tim Tim Brown's been with the team for with the organization. Yeah. Yeah. For a long time. He brought somebody else in to partner up. It's not just Tom Brady. Tom Brady owns 10% of the team. And he only put in like 150 million 200 million. So you were that

desperate for 150 200 million dollars to bring in Tom Brady as a partner. That's one of the best deals Tom Brady ever made because whenever he sells that team Tom Brady makes a billion dollars off an investment. That's an unbelievable investment. Richard C. Morse. Oh, his dad cared about his drafting speed. So like maybe he thought maybe he thought better about bringing in somebody into the organization that's going to be able to like recognize talent and change the culture within the organization and bring in you know winners. That that would be my thought process. Michael Jordan. Magic Johnson. I could go on and on and on. We could go into the NFL and we look at some of these NFL executives that have failed. All right. It doesn't work. It doesn't work. Wayne Gratsky. Wayne Gratsky. What he did with Phoenix. Remember that? What a debacle over there. As an executive as a head coach. Don't you talk about the great one like that? He's the great one. All right. The great thumb in his ass. That's what he did over there in Phoenix. That's why there is

no more Phoenix. Coyote team. They got the Utah mammoth now. Oh, you'll Smith's favorite team. Yes. I mean, come on, man. You sit here and you want you want to make excuses for these ex-players and you think, hey, ah, they can run an organization because they were great players because they know the game. That don't matter. Don't matter. Michael Jordan is the greatest basketball player of all time. Not in Q's eyes, but in everybody else's eyes. He's the greatest basketball player to play the game. The man was a horrible executive, horrible. Well, that's that's the that's what Samson, the former GMO, the Marlin says when they hired Barry Bond's to hitting coach and how he was forced to hit in coach. Because he couldn't understand how none of the players could see what he saw in the batter's box. He could actually see the rotations of the ball. He could see, he could see everything. He knew exactly what was coming and he was trying to teach John Carlos Denton how to how to recognize a slider and John Carla couldn't see the rotation. And then he got another job. I think when San Francisco, they couldn't they didn't have the ability

that he had. So he wasn't able to coach them because he only knew how to do it the way that he know how to do it. Who has the ability to see the seams of a baseball? I mean, Alex Rodriguez Bob. Alex Rodriguez could. I know he said that he could do that. I mean, Derek Jeter said that he's seen that too. He saw that. I mean, there are a lot of great players that can do a lot of things that not the natural person could do. And Tom Brady. I mean, he wasn't the most athletic guy but but he's what he was the smartest player on the football field. Him and Peyton Manning were geniuses. When you watch Peyton Manning play, do you think Peyton Manning was athletic? Come on man. Peyton Manning was the least athletic quarterback I've ever seen play. But the guy was the smartest. He can replays and read defenses better than anybody. I'll never forget this. I'll never forget this. Jack Game. I tell everybody the story all the time. And he's calling a running play. And I watched it because I remember exactly. He knew as soon as so he called an audible at the line of scrimmage because the Jets saw something in the in the offense. He called the running

play shifted the running backs to the other side. By the time they called the ball at the line of scrimmage, the Jets had no idea that he knew that Rex Ryan was shifting and trying to blitz on the left side. He went to the right and running back at a full lane all the way in for a touchdown. It was that easy for Peyton Manning. He made it look so easy. And Rex Ryan. Here guys, the game slows down for them. Right. They're operating at a different level where it's like everything's in slow motion. And like so many players taught him to play in the slow motion. And like so many players talk about that, like getting into that zone where like everything slows down and they're just like in this flow state. So like the best of the best get into that. Whereas like maybe like good players get it once in a while. Whereas you know, the best players have it all the time where they're just like things come easy. Like we watch Conor McDavid. Conor McDavid is a great player. He's everybody was comparing his skills like he could be the next player since Wayne Gratsky. And he could go down. I don't think he's breaking Wayne Gratsky's

records because the game is completely different. Conor McDavid is probably the best player we've seen since Lemieux and Gratsky. Those guys, I mean, he's changed again. He's better than Crosby. And Crosby is a great player. Nobody's taken away from Sydney Crosby. He's the kid is one of the greatest best hockey players ever played the game. But when you watch Conor McDavid, he's just that much better. And he's playing with one of the best players. Dry SIDLE is one of the best players in the league. And he's making dry SIDLE look secondary to him. Think about that. That's how good these players are. He makes it look so easy because he's so talented, so fast, he's so big, he's so strong. He outmatches everybody. That's the just the amazing part of watching these guys play. And again, watching Tom Brady play, it was like it was like a it was like a poem. All right. He'd sit there and it was a terrible poem as a jet fan. I don't want to read that poem because every time I watch to play the judge, he just completely completely pulverized the jets. It didn't matter if it was Sam Donald, Zach Wilson or any of the idiots that we've had

as quarterbacks in the past. He always pulverized him and Bill Balochek was the intelligent one. I hated watching these great players over the years, even as a Yankee fan. Remember those Arizona, Arizona, Arizona, time it back teams with Schiller and the big hurt. Remember that? Remember those two bad. You have the two, not the big hurt. I'm sorry. Randy Johnson. Randy Johnson. Randy Johnson. Yes. Watching these two guys, watching these two guys pitch against the Yankees. I was like, Oh boy, I got to watch Kurt Schilling, Schilling. And I got to watch Randy Johnson pitch against the Yankees. I knew that the Yankees had to see them five out of the seven games. Five out of the seven games had to see those two bohemants. Yeah, you should have won that series. Yes. Gonzalez. But hey, listen, Mario, Mario Rivera did not pitch very well in that thinning. Mario Rivera had, there was a couple of times that Mario Rivera did not look good in the in the world series. But again, look at Mario

Rivera. He dominated the league with one pitch, the cut fastball. I've spoken to Mario Rivera three or four times. Nathan met Mario Rivera recently. He's a nice guy. He's not a big guy. When you watch him, you look at him. You're like, this guy dominated the major league with one pitch. Broke. How many bats? You think he can run the Yankees? Come on. Just because he was a great relief pitcher, you could think, Oh, Mario, let's let's bring in Mario Rivera to run the Yankees. He's he knows they came better than anybody. You think he's going to win? You think he's better than Brian Cashman? That's absurd. It's absurd. Anybody that thinks that is an idiot. And that's why I say this. Players, ex players. That's a great Brian Cashman. Like John Lynch. John Lynch, what he's done with the 49ers, everybody said, John Lynch has in one. John Lynch hasn't won. Oh, he's been to two Super balls. He hasn't beaten Patrick Mahomes. He hasn't beaten Andy Reed. I don't want to hear about John Lynch. Well, John Lynch,

don't let I'm waiting for people. I'm surprised Brian Snow hasn't called. Well, John Lynch, because he's San Francisco 49er Finn. John Lynch will never want anything as a as a player. He did as a GM executive. No, he hasn't won anything. San Francisco hasn't won since the 90s. And they brought Kil'Kyle. A great Kyle Shanahan. What the hell is he done? He stops running the ball in second half. Every single Super ball. He's done it twice against Kansas City. It makes no sense. He did it against the Patriots when he had you had a friggin 22 point lead going into the fourth quarter of the Super Bowl. Made no sense. And he got a job from the San Francisco 49ers. I'm not going to see here and beat around the bush. I'm telling you guys what I think. These players think, well, they were players. They were great players. So they can run a team. They could be an owner of a team. I'm going to have Troy come on. And I love to hear his take on it. I my my argument here is look at Jerry Rice. I love Jerry Rice. I can argue Jerry Rice is the greatest football player ever played the game. I could say he is the greatest football player.

People can argue tell him blue in a face who's better than Jerry Rice at his position. Nobody's going to break Jerry Rice's records. We talked about Odebeckum didn't come close. Jefferson, the last year, year and a half hasn't been as good as we thought it. None of these guys are going to break Jerry Rice's record. None of them. Those are records that might never be broken. But here's the thing. Do I trust in an organization if I brought Jerry Rice in as my GM, my executive and say, listen, Jerry, I'm going to give you 10% of my team. You're going to help me build this team. And I trust you because you're the greatest wide receiver to ever play the game. You know what I would say? Bollocks. Bollocks. Don't try to sell me something. I have a better chance of meeting a woman on the streets and sleeping with her and marrying her than Jerry Rice coming in because he's a great, great football knowledgeable player. What do you mean? I could tell you a lot what I mean. I mean, trying to know what I mean too. I mean, he's now in the backstage. He knows what I mean. The fact here is that's not taking shots at Jerry Rice. That's not taking shots at Tom Brady.

Executives should be executives. Coaches should be coaches. And just because they're, again, there are players. Jerry West was a great GM. He was one of the greatest all time. Look what he did. He picked those Lakers. He built those Lakers. There's a lot so much. Isaiah Thomas. I mean, besides trying to sleep with workers, you know, working for the New York next. I'm in. Isaiah Thomas. We brought up Isaiah Thomas. Come on. I just, I'm just speaking the truth here. Executives, an executive position is not an easy position in the NFL. Everybody takes shots at Jerry Jones. Oh, Jerry doesn't know what he's doing. Jerry's Jerry. Yeah. Well, guess what? Jerry still won three Superballs. Jerry still brought in all these endorsements that helped the NFL grow to a trillion dollar business. Jerry is one of the faces of what the NFL should and would wouldn't have been if he wasn't there. So you sit here at all the fans out there that can't stand Jerry. Jerry, Jerry Jones. And you want to go check out the documentary that's on Netflix. Then go and check out

the documentary. It'll tell you why Jerry Jones is as important as anybody. That's the Tom Brady's the Bill Bella Chicks, the Bill Par sales and everybody that's been in this league that has achieved everything. Jerry Jones will be remembered more than any one of these guys because of what he's done for the NFL. Stick that on your shelf, baby. That's what I'm going to tell you, Speedy. What do you like about that? I'm not sure. We're not sure what shelves are trying to go for here. Well, you know, think about it. Either shelf. There is a shelf. I mean, Troy's got a couple of shelves. It's not in behind him. But I'm sure he's got a couple of bookshelves in his bag. You take some of those shoes down and put Jerry's shoes are beautiful. Look at that. I mean, you have the Christian Deor Jordans. You've got the the nice Frank Cougars. I mean, who's better than me? I've got some shoes to show off. I got more than that. But I don't want to get people scared or think that there's something wrong. I've also got 500 fitted ads and snap back hats. I love my hats. I love my hats, ladies and gentlemen. Also like my jerseys. I am not I repeat. I am not a 76er fan. I am not

69. He's an eagle fan though. I am an eagle fan. But the sixers, the brotherly love jersey. It's a nice jersey. Who doesn't like this jersey in 69? What what do you think? What do you think 69? What do you think 69 stands for ladies and gentlemen? Think about it. Think about it. What do you mean by that? I think you could think about it. Anyways, this is my doose of the day. The doose of the day. You're not a log. I don't have a log, but I know. Well, Quentin Coppels isn't on tonight, but I've got to do Z for you. Josh Jacobs pleads no contest in that domestic violence situation he is in. Now I understand Josh Jacobs. I understand the situation he's in. He just got to pay a lot of money. And there is video now to prove that it was domestic violence. And that video could affect him. Maybe his career with the green bay

packers as as we move forward in this, if it creates and it becomes a court case and and he doesn't dial down and pay off the woman that he put his hands on. Josh Jacobs could be in a lot of trouble. He could be in a lot of trouble. Domestic violence has been around in the NFL for a while. And we've seen it with Brown over there with the with the New York Giants. The Giants really didn't do anything. They kind of left it. Let it go for a while. This is a big story. The green bay packers do not hold on to players like this, especially when these situations happen. We've seen this before. I mean, Brett Farve was really protected by the green bay packers even before he went to the New York Chats. They protected him. There's a lot of things about this organization that they don't allow. And one of it is domestic violence. And I think that if I was Josh Jacobs, I would and if I am Josh Jacobs, I'm finding a way. I understand you're completing no contest. I pay off whatever I got to pay off and completely turn my head from what happened. I honestly, I

feel bad for the woman that he put his hands on. I really do. I know I think it was his girlfriend. It's disgusting. No man should be putting his hands on a woman. No, no professional athletes. You be putting their hands on a woman. But to see something like this and then you hear a story of no contest, even completing no contest, it doesn't look good for Josh Jacobs. It really doesn't. And again, what do the green bay packers do? Do they go with when when Josh Jacobs can play after the four or five games that he's suspended for? Do they play him or do they depend on the kid, the young kid Lloyd, and they think that he can, that he can run the ball and control the running back position for the rest of the season. And then let go of Josh Jacobs. Josh Jacobs could very much have done what he what riced it to his career because of video because of a video. So it's unfortunate. It's not something that you want to talk about and it's it's shameful. So that is my doose of the day. Josh and I like Josh Jacobs, by the way. I never met Josh Jacobs. I've heard a lot of good things about him. He's a nice kid. He played for Alabama. I followed his

high school career. He's a good kid. And I really do like him as a person. I just don't know a person you know, personality snap. You you can't control somebody. You can't control somebody behind the scenes. And I think that some of these players are very lucky to play in the NFL and Josh Jacobs and all the players and Greg Carties, all these players should realize that it's a privilege to play in the NFL. You don't they don't need you there. There are other players that can fill in your positions. So that's my doose of the day. How you doing? How you doing? I'll tell you how I'm doing. Clinton Copols is a no show tonight and I hope everything's okay. I know he's he's got some things going on in the family. So I my shout out to Q. I hope everything's okay. But he's not here. So I you know, I Mr. Distinguished General Man or whatever the hell he calls himself. I mean, Mr. Pretty Boy, Mr. Model as he calls himself the model citizen. I don't know. I would say that I don't know if he's a model citizen. But I'll tell you what, you've been on a modeling organization and that's the Jerry Jones cowboys and the Dallas Cowboys have been an interesting conversation for the last couple of years. There's no question they

have been and we'll get into your time with the cowboys. But what are your thoughts to Jerry Jones? I mean, a lot of people have taken shots at Jerry Jones over the years. I actually stick up for Jerry Jones. I think Jerry Jones has been a good owner. He's helped the league out in many different ways. Maybe he speaks a little too much than he should. But all in all, I think he's been a great owner. What are your thoughts to Jerry Jones? My thoughts on Mr. Jerry Jones is think about the lives that Mr. Jones has helped over the years. Think about the draft picks. Think about the rookie undrafted for agents. Mr. Jones is making the calls and personally for myself, Mr. Jones gave me an opportunity out of this world and I prepared my behind all for that opportunity. I took a banter, but you think about the Jones family, Steve and Jerry Jones and Charlotte. They built the family business and they've been hands on from the start. They didn't allocate

nobody in these positions. They took the family on and said, hey, he'll go you a position. He'll go you a position and you expect the best. Now, has it been like the 90s where they've had a lot of success and know it hasn't? But I tell you what they man, well, you dealing with the Jones family, they're all in and they're all in on the Dallas Cowboys and man, they've raised this franchise to unbelievable numbers. I'm talking my personally, I'm talking my humbly, they drafted my brother in 98 as a linebacker. They brought me in as a rookie for agents man, they said they've changed our life to be employed to have opportunity to play professional football. I mean, I owe my life as a whole to Mr. Jones in my career to Mr. Jones to give me the opportunity. The organization's been up and down. It has been. But yeah, I'm not really, I mean, they haven't won a Super Bowl. No, Troy, Troy, you know what's that?

I'm a super bowl that ain't nothing. Troy, you know what's the trouble? I'm a Troy. Troy, you know what's that? I'm a super bowl. Troy, I'm a jet fan. I'm a jet fan. Stop telling me you've been down. I'm 44 years old. They haven't won a Super Bowl since 1969. I was even thought of, I was in my mom's left, you know what? All right. I'm my father's little Twiggy right ball, you know? That's probably what I was in. I was running with my dad. Yeah, that's definitely somewhere in one of his nuts. But you know, the fact here is, I, I, I wasn't alive to see it. So when, when everybody sits there and says, well, they have a one since tonight, why me a river? Cry me a damn river. I don't want to hear it from any of the cowboy fans. What I can't say about the Cowboys organization is they found quarterbacks. Think about all the quarterbacks they had in the past. They had Troy Ackman. Then they brought in Tony Romo who he was on draft to play. And then they draft Dak Prescott. Dak Prescott was a fourth round talent.

A lot of cowboy fans take shots at this kid. I love this kid. He's one of my favorite players in the league because I like his personality. He's been the, the trials and tribulations he's been through. His mother passing away really didn't get a chance to see him play in the NFL. His brother committed suicide. His, his leg snapped, snapped back. People thought his career was over. Came back and had one of the best seasons of his career. This guy has had one of the greatest runs in Cowboys history. If you look at his numbers, by the time he's done with his career, he can have better numbers than any cowboy quarterback in history. And he's definitely, he's got quarter, he has whole of fame numbers. What are your thoughts? I know he hasn't won in the playoffs. I understand that. And he still needs to prove himself in the playoffs. What are your thoughts to Dak Prescott? What do you think of him as a player? That thing that is resilient. You know, he's, he's, he's taking the shots. He's taking credit systems well. You know, Dak, Dak, you know, I can go back to Quincy Carter when he was drafted during my era. And you know, Quincy, I don't think a

miracle team was ready for a black quarterback. You know, and that's a whole another ball for another game. You know, so, you know, it's, it's ridicule. It's the shots that you take. And, you know, it's just like everything else. You got to stand in front when the team is up, they're up. And when team is down, they're down. And I think Dak has done well. I think with the market and the way the world is changing and the game has changed, you know, Dak is in an unprecedented state of mind. You know, Dak was able to get a contract where he ran his whole contract. He didn't, you know, he choose and pick what he could do and what he don't want to do. I mean, Dak is spoiled. You know, Dak is spoiled and he's given, he's been given that, you know, he's been given the finances without a Super Bowl, without a playoff win, you know, just because the market lands where it's at, you know, do I think he has the capabilities and the talent, of course, he does. But have

they executed and have they won? I can't say that they have done it. And, you know, you know, I'm expecting them good things and Mr. Jones is putting pieces around them that's that's helping us. But what we're not doing as a cowboy's nation is we're not putting more emphasis on the run game. I think that you have to get back and look for him as live. You have to get back and you put them big 350 pound lineman down in the ground, put them in three point stands and make a blow off the ball. Let's get a freaking running game. I'm not worried about Dak in these four and five thousand yards that he's throwing. Let's get a runner back that's getting 151600 and controlling the game and giving our defense time enough to rest. You know, we're doing too much through it now with the ball is going through Dak hands too many times when we just need to simply just get tougher. We need to get tougher. We need to look at the formula. The formula is Leon the formula is Larry Allen. The formula is Stepnowski. The formula is

Flosel Adams. I mean Nate Newton. Nate Newton. Nate Newton. These are the dogs. These are the dogs. This is what made the Cowboys. The Cowboys was made not off a tour of eight men and my car urban. The Cowboys was made off of him and Smith and that damn offensive line. And at this moment, at this moment when I look at practice, I'm looking at I'm looking at office alignment that's built like NBA players and it's looking like they're just looking to kick back and pass the tag. It's I don't see no nastiness. I don't see the big the big stomachs hanging over the buck buckle. I don't see the Larry Allen with the dip in their mouth. The model is there. You know, you go back to the Super Bowl in the championship years. You had a guy in in in in in Michael Irving. The head coach that said Jimmy Johnson. Jimmy Johnson. They got it done. The Jimmy got it done. Bump what Jerry talking about in the front office. We're gonna get it done out here and when I look back at some of

these films and see the way he talked to the players and how he navigated his business. That's the formula. That's the formula. Stop baby in these damn big ass men and get up and they shit. Get up on them. Get up on them and that's what they're missing. And I think I think personally until we get back into looking for the image. Smith the Larry Allen the nastiness on the office line. We're gonna come up short all the time because the ball got be thrown in the air and you know, the defense is gonna be tied. That's my take. Boy, you got to ran out of me then. I like it. Listen. I'm a big Cowboys fan. So I appreciate your take. Big fan. I have a question, a couple questions for you. One, I know you did three years at South Carolina, but then you finished at Savannah State. Do you consider yourself a South Carolina guy or do you consider yourself a Savannah State guy? Man, man, man. It's a cock. Man, you know, when you go, when you go, when I went to South Carolina too. Yeah, I hear you, man. I hear you. I hear you, man. God bless you, brother. You know, when you go when you go in these organizations, you go in these organizations

to represent the team and you represent your family. And while you're doing that, you pick up other pieces in these organizations. So I picked up John Abraham, one of the greatest defense in here is to ever come out of there. I picked up Boon Williams. I picked up Anthony Wright. You know, I picked up Carrie Hood. I mean, the listing of a rendez-kogs. I picked up brothers, man, that I can take here and on across the mountain. But to say that I'm a game cog, I felt like the gamecogs felt me when they bought in Lou Holt. Yeah, yeah. You know, that's how I feel about that. Man, I still get chills when I hear the fight song, you know, to put my work on the field there. Could you sing the fight song? Could you give us a little bit of the fight song? Could you sing the fight song? Could you sing the fight song for us? Man, no, but what I can do is home that thing. I can't think of anything. I don't blame you. I can't

say anything. My freshman year, my freshman year, I wasn't red, sir. So, you know, they got us they got us in the tunnel and we and we and Bryce and man, that's freaking fight song came on and boy, I'm big diamond with the rocket and man, they got hyping that thing, man. And man, the lights, let me smoke shot out and man, they were so hyping that thing when I hit the field, it felt like I was running no air. And before you know it, I was on the ground and got a trample. You coming from high school ball and you know the light, the level of intensity there. Man, I got to the University of South Carolina man and hurt that fight song, bro. And man, to see them leaders in front of me. Man, so he's all cocked out. I want to say I fainted. I want to say I fainted because I mean, it was, it was, for me, the energy was there. And,

and to the game caught fans, man, they've always been loyal. The game caught fans are going to be there for one in ten or you ten and one and every week, man, they showed love and support, man. And I love myself. The Carolina fans. But you know that when they bought in lieu and they made some changes there, I just integrated with the route Lou took with me. And I didn't feel like he was a fresh, it was a fresh, a fresh chance. Yeah. He was there. He was there when my freshman year and then Spurrier came in the next year or so. Yeah. I got to watch, I got to watch the Lou Holt's last year, Lou Holt's and then I got to watch Spurrier. And then I watched him, Timo, beat the hell out of him. When I listen, when I look at Troy's, when I look at Troy's face, when you bring up Lou Holt, it looks like he's smelling a dirty fart, you know. I mean, I think that's a common thing, I think. And as life goes on and you hear some of the stories over Lou Perrier and the guys that navigated

to him and appreciate his ways and his and the way he went about coaching, you know, as I've got older now and I'm a parent now. And I can say, you know, yeah, I see you, Lou, I see where you was headed at. But my God, man, I'm telling you, man, to have me, I let the teens into Russian, my sophomore and junior year, going into my senior year, you know, got a family defeat, got big plans, man, Lou, Lou and Lou had different plans. Lou had different plans. I helped them being a young heart-headed, I helped them, but, man, don't make me cry. Man, man, man, don't make me cry. Don't make me cry. Don't make me cry. Don't make me cry. I'm living in. Now let's go. Let me get into the to think, to think when Brad Scott was there, my brother, my brother had just got kicked out of the University of Florida for a fight at the Sugar Bowl, right? So, you know, now my brother is on the streets. My brother is on the streets. He's looking for a school to go to.

I'm coming out of high school. I can't pass ACT tests. So, South Carolina come up with this plan and say, hey, we're going to get daring off the streets. We're going to get them on up here. And while we got daring up here, Troy, we'll give you one year to pass ACT tests. We'll hold a scholarship for you. And, man, man, my family is so much in debt to them the way they handle us. I had some learning curve that ACT score wasn't the, that test wasn't the joke. You know, that thing has worked a lot of people behind. So, you know, I was behind the eight ball and then they patiently waited for me. And that last time I could take that test and the name of Jesus, man, I passed it. Don't know how I passed it. I went in there and had my eyes closed once again, like I did the other 50 times. I couldn't treat that damn thing. On the truth, you know, like I do every time, I'm the first one coming in and the first one leaving out, you know. And by the grace of God, he had it in his plan for me to pass it. And I went on to the University of South Carolina with high hopes, with high hopes of bringing it to you. You sure, you sure, Ludin tried to change any

of the, you know, the numbers that you put on that test. Yeah, I tell you, I tell you, I tell you, I can man, man, some highlights, man, some highlights that University of South Carolina, I've gotten older now, you know, I appreciate a lot of things, you know, I just haven't found the coffee with spot with Lou and his decision at the time. I just, we got to get you, Lou, we got to get Lou and you in a room. That's what we need to do is Lou is still alive. He's still around. Maybe we should take him to, maybe we should take you to his, his coffin. Maybe you guys can talk, you know, one on one. Yeah, that's, that's a great start. You know, I'm a forgiving man. I'm a forgiving man and you and you showed that you're forgiven through your actions. You hear me and I went on, I went on and even though that hang up with the separation with me and South Carolina, you know, I went on and prayed, man, and I ended up going to get on at, um, at Savannah State University. Now with a 1.5 GPA.

1.5. Wow. Well, we are talking to former Cowboys, Cardinals running back, Troy Handbrook. He's joining us and a very interesting guy. It has a lot of personality. There's no question that he is and running back and and star running back in college and he had five, six years in the NFL. And we're happy to have a mom. We'll talk a little cowboys. We'll talk a little. What's going on with the Cardinals, man? I, I don't know what's the Cardinals. The Cardinals. Yeah. Who? The Cardinals. Who? The who? The Arizona Cardinals. I mean, this organization, I mean, I'm a jet fan. So I know about bad organization, but the Cardinals, they've drafted and we had Steve on the show a couple of weeks ago and he built the Cardinals. He, he, his last draft was McBride, who looks like he's a star, Titan. He drafted all these guys. Kyla Murray rose in. None of those guys pans out. What is going on with this organization? Now they bring in a guy that is another ex-jet offensive coordinator, which I think is just going to be a cluster. You know what? In that locker room.

He's not going to be there that long. His brother runs the Green Bay Packers. He's not his brother. I mean, what are your thoughts to this Cardinals organization? I mean, I like love. I think love's going to be a good player, but they've had a lot of good running backs over the years. John Conner was a good one. I mean, they did nothing with him. They never built around an offensive line. At last year, their offensive line actually played okay and their defense played okay, but they just don't show up in the important games. What's going on with Cardinals, man? What's going on? You know, they fired Steve Wilkes. He was my head coach at Savannah State. Suck for the Jets. He's like a one year. You hear me? So, you know, he karma catches up with you. You go back to dinner green days where he built his body and fist, his gerrero. He had an ankle on bow then. He had an M. You know, hold on. I got to cut you off. You mentioned Steve Wilkes. All right. I have to cut you off here. I understand you have a love fetish for Steve Wilkes.

I watched Steve Wilkes in San Francisco. He couldn't cut it over there as the defensive coin area. Came to the Jets later. Superbowl in it. And he choked as they always do. They made to a Superbowl in it. They choked. They're a choke. They're a choke. They're a choke. You blame the coach for that. You blame the coach for that. I blame the defense for that. I'm a field, bro. The playoffs got to make the plays, bro. And the defense has to play coach post when you get in the pro when you're in the pro bro, you're looking at field loan and defense coordinating. I don't think he was the one to feel you make the right adjustments. You don't point back at the coach. I don't think I don't think he was the defensive coordinator when they went to the Superbowl. It was Robert Sol. Oh yeah. It was Robert Sol. It wasn't him. And Steve Wilkes didn't work out over there in Carolina as we heard Baker Mayfield and Sam Donnell had their own thoughts to Steve Wilkes. And then he came to the New York Jets and within a half a season, he gets fired because he does to me. Players weren't getting along with him in the locker room. What is it with Steve Wilkes? I know you have a connection with him. What is it with Steve Wilkes? I think Steve only can coach

what he's given, right? You got person there who comes down to him and you got to coach. You got to coach what you got. Now you, you had yourself with these teams and the fitable, vulnerable situation when he picked up the job. Now what I would say is Steve, why you took the job when you already know that they are ready to some shit. You hear me? So you might want to chill until you get to a team. Excuse my friends, Lord. I know that people listen to that. That's right. Why did you take these jobs? Eras only was a shitty as job. The Jets is a shitty as job. Why do you, why are you on hot talent? You know, why are you accepting these jobs? Like in in clean, going to get fired? The Jets is terrible. I mean, the guy, the Arizona they go fired is next guy too. He's not lying. He's telling me. So you say yourself, you say yourself, the guys get drafted to say, you know, I go to, you know, I came to the cabbages, play good ball, did the best I could. Then

you go to chair picking some of these teams on the out code. Arizona, I can write them still four more years. You hear me from my knowledge of the game. Go down to Oakland. I can steal four or five more years. Go down to the Jets. I can get three more years because I'm a veteran and I know the game. You hear me? These are, this is just what players are doing. This is what players are doing. And I think that's what's happening. I think some of these coaches need to stay with these jobs that doesn't that in the time of error, where they don't give you years and years to build the program. You know, it's a microwave success right now. It's no, I'm gonna give you six years and I'm gonna give you all six years. It doesn't work that way anymore. What is your favorite? What is the favorite thing to cook in a microwave, man? Pre-made. The cook in a microwave. I don't cook. I put my coffee in a microwave and warm it up. That's what you do. What about a coffee machine? What are you doing over there? I'm not a cook here. You know, I try to stay away from that kitchen.

I'm back trying to independent myself. I lost my wife seven months ago. I'm sorry to hear that. I'm sorry to hear that. So that's been tough on me. Hear my girls and my family, man. Just unexpected death with a 16 year old running the stop sign. Of course. It's just very unfortunate, man. And so now I'm back trying to put things together, but I'm still looking for a chef. You know, because me and that kitchen and me preparing things don't work. I prefer to pay the mortgage and sit back and wait on the plate to come to me. So do I. I last night. So last night, my girlfriend cooked chili. She's really good at making chilies. So she made the chili and she's like, she gives me a couple of spoons. She's like, is this too hot? So I'm like, I don't want to tell her it's too hot. And I hope she's not watching right now, but I didn't want to tell her it's so hot. So I said, oh, it's delicious. It's great. So I get myself two bottles of water. I fill it up with crystal light. And I'm sitting there. And every time I take it a bite, she turns her head

and I'm drinking like, yeah, I'm drinking water. I'm surfing it down. Yeah. Yeah, you sound like, yeah, you sound like me something to times when I got to play. I was like, I had a little yorky keying. Man, I would feed him. I would feed him under the table. But you know, he burping the fall and over. You know, we get through it. We get through it. She's a good cook. She's like really good cook, but she just put too much of that pepper crap in it. And I was like, it was burning the hell out of my nose, man. I was like, oh my god. I could smell, I could smell a dog's crap on the other side of the building. That's how my sinus is opened up. So she's like, look at it. Every time she turned her face, I was like, look, before you know it, after my chili, she's like, you want some more I was like, yeah, let me give me a couple minutes. I need time to breathe. It was like a lot of me

while I drank like four bottles of water. I could put the fire out. I think, you know, at late at night, I was really putting the fire out on the bowl. I just think I personally think it's just unfortunate that certain cultures get put going and putting these applications in just to be a head cold. And that's messing up your resume because yeah, I'm going to take this crap behind job, you know, but it's no potential. It's no outside. And then this thing, you know, your head is chopped off. Your head is chopped off. And it was already chopped off. And I'm like, man, when y'all gave me this job, it was already. I mean, you know, I'm going to you think they're going to give air and clean down there. Not long. You hear me? They don't know when at least at least seven games. He's probably getting you're here in Mike Tomlinson. This year, you're here. You're here in Mike Tomlinson. Mike Tomlinson rumors are already starting. So yeah, probably coming for the Johnson. I'm telling you, it's this year. And I don't, you know, but we being such a herd, you know, the black culture we have been such a herd go get these things on job to say that we got a

position. We got a position, but it ain't no, it's the time is very short and you need time to build a franchise. It's no question. And we are talking to former Cowboys and Cardinals running back Troy. Hamburg. He's nice enough to join us. And by the way, I, everything that happened you wife, I, my heart goes out to you and your family. That's horrible. That's horrible. That's a horrible story to hear. I lost my father at 50. My father was 55 when he passed away because of the hospital. They didn't do the right thing for him. And I lost my dad. And my mom's very, very sick. She's, she's in it. She almost died. She's in a rehabilitation center. She's losing her mind. So when you get old, it's, it's a horrible thing. And, and to lose a loved one like that, a wife, when you have kids and you're taking care of a family, that's a horrible thing, man, a horrible thing. And the fact that you, you're standing here strong, you're talking about it. That says a lot about you as a person and as a former athlete. You find out, you find about the tough spot you've been in the life. You find out about the resilience that you've been in. You know, I've been in some tight situations in my life,

you know, losing, losing my wife. And then I lost, you know, I lost focus on my career. And then I thought I pick up my second career, which was selling cocaine. And that wasn't no good. Got my ass, got my ass up in the federal prison for five years. Sorry to hear that. Yeah, you know, just life, tough life lessons, you know, but what's next? You know, you can't lay down. You got to get up. What's next? I got, I got kids looking at me. I got kids looking at me on all situations and saying, how my dad is going to handle this here? How my dad is going to handle this here? And I find tribute and to talking about my wife, I find tribute and just knowing that she's just, we had unconditional love, man, married her when she was 19 years old. And I was 23. You know, just unconditional, unconditional. And it's hard to find. And I tell you, I felt myself in a lot of tight places when I was younger, you know, in many different ways, if you think about it, you know, in a funny way and even in a serious way, if you know what I mean, but you got, you got, you got, you got, you got, you got the big old guns. I don't know,

it's in the pocket at night. Don't tell that to quit. Don't tell that to quit. He's telling me they're pea shooters. Yeah. Let's get him back to football a little bit. Let's, let's talk about this Cowboys. Let's talk about this Cowboys team. I can't, can't let you go without talking about this year's Cowboys team. I think they found a dog in Javante Williams. I think the young offensive lines good. The defense was terrible last year. Hopefully it's going to be better. What do you think this Cowboys team? Because mainstream media is saying it's super bowl contender currently. What do you think this Cowboys team is? I think this Cowboys team is, let's revise. You know, I'm not knocking on another quarterbacks that I've had on my time, but I wish I had a dad press guard with the receivers that we got now with the way that the lanes are now. And I think we need to revise this thing and say, hey, man, yeah, CD, yeah, pick it. We're going to

get you the ball. But man, we got the hand this ball long because we got a young, Alex fears defense over here that need time to learn and grow. And throwing the ball, man, and not controlling the clog. It's going to, it's going to put us in a lot of bad pickles. And that's me. Game management, games management, switching this thing up, you know, we got Williams. Can William is he's really a bell cow? You know, can you really feed it to him like he did. Z, it was ZC as I, you know, I was three years. I had the honor of coming behind Emmett to try to fill some shoes over Emmett's mouth. I mean, how hard is that? You know, so when you look at the years and the talent and the cares that he's had over his years, man, a true bell cow until my real dog. I'm talking about last. I call Emmett the last three. I call Emmett the last three years here in Dallas. And I really saw what it looked like for a man

to run out of gas to run out of petrol, you know, and I say the way he had to re-energize himself, the fine to get to the final destination of being the all-time lean restaurant, you know, you got guys in that locker room within the running back room. Man, we had to hype his old ass out. You know, you know, you don't let him. Man, who you think was barking at him? What you going through, 20 times? I'm hollering at him. I'm hollering the fighting. You're not being all that out here, you know, and I think that's what we need. I think we need to get back up and we need to get nasty. We need to be the nasty boys. We don't need to be just as pretty passive scrap CD with the pretty half, pickings with the nice dancing. I don't want them in that. I want some hard nose football, bro. You don't want any pickings. You just want to pickings. You know, like the sniffing celebration that the NFL band. Yeah, no, no, man. I just, I just, I, yeah, that's almost hard. No football. NFL likes banding a lot of things, but

yeah, they do. They, they, they, they, they, they, they, they, they, they like to give Roger Kedell 70 million dollars. They're flagging you so as you do this here, they flagging you, you know, you know what? If they're going to flag me, I'm going to do something really, really bad. Okay. That's what I'm saying. If I'm getting a flagged, I'm going to make sure that I'm taking that flag for a reason, you know, I'm so tired of it. I'm so tired of it. I think we got, we got the final part of our side. I think the ball is in our record. What we do with it, how do we maximize it? Do we pull the late games out? The clothes was, you know what I mean? That's where we're at. I mean, man, it's together. It's football season. You know, I thought we're going to see and get another back of a little bigger and a little meaner than the Williams kid. I knew that Jane Blue, you started running and telling me, he, he wasn't holding on to the football. He lost confidence there. And I just couldn't get close enough to the young kid and say, pick your shit up, you know, they just kept on taking the frontman,

they kept on taking the frontman, till they ran them out of town, you know, so. They like the kid, DeMarcato from Kansas City. They like him. Yeah. Yeah, just, you know, you know, they, they, it's going to be a story. We need somebody. We need somebody that can bark. I mean, speedy's got a big deep bark. I think speedy's got to show you a bark and then I got to hear your bark. I need something that'll scare somebody in that locker room. All right, speedy, speedy, give them your bark. All right. I want to hear it. All right. Come on. Give us a good bark, Troy. Tell them how, tell them, come on, bark at, come on. Come on. I got man. I'm a whole to a lot of people. I'm going to say give a bark at that. It's Smith. Why would I hear your bark? What you going to do? Do it. Do it. Not you. Not you. Not you. Not you. Not you. Not you. Not you. Not you. Not you. Not you. I'm too much. Not too much. To have the honor and I mean, out of everybody in the world, it all the way back to the world, man, the Lord had it. The good Lord had it where I was the back of. I'm the guy. I'm the heir parent. I'm the predecessor. You know, and it was my job to

motivate him. It's my job to make him mad. You know, I go out and take his, I take his gloves off his helmet. You know, he's very particular about that. I go to his pads. You know, he know I got him. You know, you know, I just, I used to be a irritating ass little brother. I used to be an irritating ass little brother. And then I get in front of the microphone after the game and say, man, y'all don't need to get a ball of him. No, no, you actually get a ball of me. You knew you had men. And I went one time on the podcast show and said, hey, you know, the time that Michael Jordan got home when he went to Fordunk. He got home. I went back and I said, man, this the same stuff that Emily's doing. Emily's just telling us in this career because he won't get out of my way. You know, man, I was more than news and man, it went crazy. It went crazy. You know, until until the moment came where Jerry called me in office and said, listen, here, handbrake. I'd be out of my mind if I let him break the record in somebody in Jersey. So you can either be quiet or I'm a cut your ass. So you know, that's the exact words.

I mean, like you all bastard. You all dinged back. After that meeting with Mr. Jones, I went to praising him and and giving him what he needed. We're assurance that I'm a true brother. I got your bag. Where the hell are you right now? What public area are you at? I am in a hotel. Okay. They're doing us a Liberty 9-Eleven for the soldiers doing 9-Eleven. Okay. So they're doing some functioning around the corner. I told them I showed up for here in Dallas. Oh, that's nice. Just show some support, man. Show some support to the 9-Eleven troops. Anybody else there with you? Anybody big names there with you? Yeah, I'm around here talking to you guys. I can't get around to the big names. I'm talking to that too, man. So you mean... So I tried to set it up. I tried to set the call up inside of the place and don't have no Wi-Fi. I had you lined up perfectly. I was going to get some of the soldiers to come on and

I would have been cool. Troy, I really appreciate you joining us. I know you're a busy guy. Let's get you on when you get home. Again, my condolences to your family about your wife. That's horrible. It's a horrible story, but it just shows you your power and the person and your personality, how much you just drive and you're being a good dad and you're really standing for who you are. I respect you, man. I really don't appreciate it, man. Never thought I'd be a single dad, man. I never thought, never envisioned anything and stuff going on. But what you do, what do you do, man? You're bucking down, you tie yourself to Jesus and then you find Mr. Jerry Jones. You hear me, you tie yourself to Jesus and then you find yourself to Mr. Jerry Jones. If Jerry Jones finds me, he probably run the opposite way. People like, no way. What are you doing with that guy? That's my message. I'm following Jesus and I'm following Mr. Jerry Jones. I think life sure is right on out. Like I think should go,

man. I got a great cowboy family here and man, they've been really supportive. I've been getting calls. I've been getting interest here and there and it feels good to be back in cowboy nation. You keep it up. Let's get you on again, Troy. Thank you so much and keep up the good work. Thank you, man. Thank you, man. Thank you, man. Bulk has somebody. Oh, go, Speedy. Give it to us. Troy. I'm going to get you on again, man. Absolutely. Thanks for coming. Thanks for coming. Thanks for coming. Thanks for coming. Troy. Thank you. Cowboy, Cardinal, great personality, father and again, my heart goes out to him and his family. So great person. I was good, Nathan. It's a plus. Now, go hang out with the other soldiers, man. And go hang out with your place. Go do it. Go do it. Enjoy yourself. Enjoy yourself. Go eat some food. Go eat a hamper.

That sounds like somebody constipated about the bark. He was awesome. He was. What a great guy. He was. He was fun to hang out with stories. Yeah. He was fun to hang out with. You know, I like you know what it is about entertainment and everybody sits there. They can have a million people looking at them watching their show. To me, entertainment is when you can bring something out of somebody that maybe people don't know they have. And I think when it comes to sports radio and what people are missing in this industry is they see dollar signs. They don't see the connection that you bring to the fans or the people or the athletes. I think that's the problem right now in this industry is all they see is the dollar signs. They don't see anything the big part of it. And even with YouTube, we're trying to figure out the YouTube thing. I'm completely off with words with YouTube. I don't even no matter what we do, I'm like kind of lost. But what I would say is I don't care.

You know, when the time comes and we're in position, YouTube will be YouTube. I just I think that when you when you meet people and they get to know you and you get to know them and you can be sincere in a conversation with them and make them laugh and realize that life is too short and just bringing out personality and and be compadent with them and just have a have a friendly conversation with them. That's what makes this business so unique, so cool, so different. And I think Troy Handbrook showed me a little different look into ex-professional athlete. I don't care if he was in jail for five years. I don't care if he was in jail for 20 years. He went to jail a lot longer than then freaking P. Diddy and P. Diddy did a lot worse things than what he was doing. So I mean, if I had if I had P. Diddy on the show, I would I would be the same person I am and either he'll take me seriously or not take me seriously and just have a little bit of fun with me. The whole point of it is is to have fun and to enjoy your conversation and and let them feel

comfortable opening up to you. It's funny. We had Richard Breeland on the show. I'll never forget that. I'll never forget that because like two weeks later the guy gets arrested for holding it was a big story machine gun and they found all this stuff in his car. But when he was on a show, everybody was like, I'll never forget we had a lot of people watching the show at the time and every single question I was asking him were like one word answers. It was one word answers. I was like, how do I open this freaking guy up? So I finally found a way in through his career and then as soon as I found that way in and I opened up, you know, I found the key to open up the door, that guy wouldn't shut up. Speedy, am I wrong? He wouldn't shut up. I mean, one of my friends said I've never seen somebody have somebody on their show that couldn't even answer the questions, didn't even want to answer the questions. And then all of a sudden with just a few ways you kind of tricked them to open up the Pandora's box, this guy didn't shut the hell up. He just kept on going and he was like the

energized up on it. It was absolutely hilarious. And that was one of the interviews that really set my tone as an interviewer is when people told me it's like, man, interviewing is one of the hardest things to do in this industry. And if you can do that, you can do anything. And that's where I knew that I had a knack for interviewing people and getting things out of people that probably other people couldn't. So it's fun. I think it's a great thing when we, you know, shout out to Niff and by the way, Niffin works his ass off to get these guys. So give him a clap, you know, I, we love you, Niff. But I don't know what's going on with Q. I hope everything's okay. I've been heard from Q. So that's, that's, you know, I really do hope everything's okay. But it's not easy doing it. But all in all, what we do and how we do it is, is what makes us different. And that's, that's my point. All right. We have the parlay guys on, right? Yes, Johnny is in. All right. We call this, let's parlay. Parlay, parlay, parlay, parlay, parlay.

Dance time for the left one. By the way, Mike Evans just got a touchdown. So whoever drafted my Gevins, well, maybe we were wrong. Mike Evans does fit that offense. Who knows? But he has his first touchdown of the season. And now it's 17 to seven. So we'll see. Look, it's interesting. This game might, look, interesting. Where's Miles Garrett when you need him? Mr. Money Man himself. Anyways, we've got Reno, Johnny in and Reno, if everybody doesn't know, let's parlay. It's very simple. He's going to give you his top three picks of the week for the weekend. And then he's going to give you his fourth for a parlay. Are you ready, Reno? Never, not ready. I'll never, not ready. Well, you're growing your hair, man. I mean, is that, is that because of San Antonio over there? Is that what it is? Oh, so you're copycatting your son? Is that what you're telling me? I want to make sure it feels confident in his long hair. Well, if you really want him to be confident, you should just look at it. Speedy's undercarriage. That'll tell you everything.

I'm sure it's awesome. Here's your red. My first, my first, my first fat red. And let's do something that probably nobody in the right mind is going to do. I'm going to back the Michigan Wolverines. My official plays are going to take the spread of plus five and a half, but I'm going to sprinkle on the money line. This is a team that should have lost last week. Let's not get into the controversy. They were gifted another opportunity to win the game that they did. And now they have an Oklahoma team that's probably one of the few examples of keeping talent at 53 players that have played there. They're tired for rears or at least three years in. That's the most of any roster individual football. They're the lane five and a half points that arguably have more talent. They probably have a better offense and a defense. Michigan to the loss against central Michigan. The world, the public,

the betting public is going to hammer Oklahoma. But after everything we saw, are we really going to lay six points with Oklahoma at Michigan? I just don't think so. I think this is such a track spot, a perfect example of definitely taking a balanced max spot. Do not think they're going to lose this game. I'm going to protect myself with the points, protect myself, get six, five and a half. I think it's going down to some places. But this is a Michigan team that just this point last week. I think they bounced back in a big way in week two. Now we're going to hit it in the felt for the rest of the plays. I'm going to take the over 49 and a half Rams. I'm going to start with the Lions and the Saints. This is a team in the Lions that really struggled last year in a lot of facets. I do think they're going to bounce back this year. Kind of see what we saw two years ago. Their offense is top notch. But I think the Saints actually found something in Tyler Schulte. He's got, you know, when he came in and lost eight games in the year, he was passing

for well over 230, 240 yards of game. He was throwing touchdowns, limiting interception, turnovers, a young team, definitely not a team that maybe he pays with the Lions. I do think their offense is good enough to score with the Lions. I do think it's going to be as close close to that spurs for lead, but I'm going to take the over next game. I'm going to take it. This is a game that I don't know if you're going to be able to take the same odds. As I was able to take, I was at three and a half with these Steelers. It's now probably four someplace is five and five and a half two. Just got listed as hurt. He may not play in this game. They're lifting Cooper Rush has taken all first team stamps this week. That means that you're probably going to get Cooper rushed in that game. I just think this Falcons team outside of B. John Robinson just doesn't have a whole lot. I do like this Steelers offense this year with Aaron Rogers. I do think they added some good pieces that had receiver. They still have became Medcap. They brought in Rico Dowdol, which is going to be a

good one to punch in the backfield. I think their defense is going to be able to turn them all over here against the Falcons. I think they win this game. I would be confident in laying the new spread of five and a half, but I already got three and a half. So I'm not going to double down on that. So it's kind of a dealer's choice there if you want to risk it with the five and a half. Last game of the day of Sunday. So our last game of Sunday Cowboys at the Giants. This is a team in the Giants. And the Cowboys that in week one, prime time matchups against the Giants has done really well. They actually typically win and cover against the Giants. I can't lay the spread here, but I'm going to take the square play of the day. Give me this is the parlay piece. So give me the over. I do think how boys defense does improve from last year. They did bring in some pieces. I do like their defensive coordinator. I do like the scheme that they're going to run this here. And they do love it or hate it. They do have a top 10 offense. That cross got is a top seven or

a quarterback at 34. Absolutely. He's healthy. They got one of the better one to receivers in the national football league. If they can book, if you can limit some of the drama, you'll see in those types of situations, they're going to score points. Now will their defense be able to to limit offenses? I don't know. I think the Giants tip will take a step back this year. I'm not completely sold on Jackson dark or cams. Gataboo. But I do think that our offense scores and enough points to get this to the over. It's at 48. 48 and a half. I do think we get some fireworks late on Sunday night. Well, right now, the San Francisco 49ers are laying the smack it on the Rams ass right now. Their defense is playing at a high level right now. So if they play like this, all season long. Well, look, you know, I was on the night or today plus four. I would, I took them on a little dabble in the M.O. A lot of time left. But I think the biggest situation for me was, I mean, the

Rams got there. There's a thing where the Rams are going to the right. They're going to spend 30 hours on a plane. They're going to spend, you know, with the time of the game, by the time they get back, they're going to get back to LA and technically with time have only been gone for three days. And that's 30 hours of travel each way plus the game. So I think to me, this was a terrible strategy. They did say they sent four players over like months ago to like test how, yeah, but can you simulate a football game? I don't think you can simulate how your body is going to react to the jet lag. I think they came out flat. Look, plenty of time in this game. And that's probably why we have seen what we've seen. But the Rams are going to be fine. They also don't have air in Donald yet in this situation. So they're going to be fine. And I just think that right now that Dodgers are just taking advantage of they've been there for, they got to like last week, right? Yeah. Like the whole week and after. So they're just taking advantage of that right now. But

still plenty of time. The Rams come back when this game and kill my back. Well, thank you. I like your position. Thank you, Reno. We'll talk to you next week, buddy. Keep that hair going. How speedy does it. It'll be going for a minute. He's got the curls now. All right, speedy. It's more way be the curls. But I'm not talking about that hair. It's a way. I'm not talking about that hair, speedy. Yeah, and neither is he. Reno Johnny. Reno Johnny. Oh, man. What a show. All right, ladies and gentlemen, our NFL picks of week one. All right. So Cuba, this idea kind of combining a college concept with an NFL concept. It'll be mostly NFL because there's only the one big. And of course he can be put together and he's not here. Yeah, he puts it together. He's not here. But it's not the six fact like it was last year. We'll do five. We'll do five picks. We'll start with the Buffalo Bills. He's automatically behind the April and Buffalo Bills at the Houston Texans. The Bills one and a half point favorites. Who do you want to start off this time? I'll let you go for it. All right,

I'm going to take Buffalo here. I think the Texans defense is definitely going to hang tough. I think a new scheme with these running backs, especially. That was where Buffalo was weekend last year. But this is the first year for Montgomery. Woody Marx played well in Sparks last year. I don't know if they're going to be able to run the ball as much. I like Buffalo in a very tight low scoring game. All right, Dick. What do you got? I like Buffalo. I think that they finally have some skilled players for Josh Allen. Uh, and yeah, I like Buffalo. I'm worried about Brady. I want to see Brady win his first game. So, uh, you know, I like Josh Allen. You know I like Buffalo. I'm going to go with Buffalo in this game. But I wouldn't be surprised if the Texans win, but I'm going to go with Buffalo. All right, let's go to the Bucks and my AFC champion Cincinnati Bengals. The Bengals are three and a half point favorites at home. I like our Bengals. My AFC champion Bengals. I like the Bucks though too. This year. I definitely think they'll put up a fight. I think this is definitely a higher scoring game. Tampa's still trying to figure out. I would be supposed to make a fail in Tampa wins this game. They definitely could. I think

both teams are still trying to figure out new things on defense. Obviously, the Bengals getting in Dexter Lawrence and a couple other free agents, but I think they need some time for it to gel. That being said, I still think their offense is going to be strong in this one. I'll take Cincinnati, uh, cover a close game, just barely cover the spread. God, Dick. Yeah. I'll take Cincinnati. I think that their defense is going to be much improved. Uh, yeah. I like Cincinnati. I want to go with the Buccaneers, but I'm not. Everybody knows what I think about Cincinnati this year. I think they could be the the steel of the AFC. So I'm going to go Cincinnati. All right, look go to Errol's Philadelphia Eagles. Five and a half point favorites against the Washington commanders. I think they win the game. I do not think they cover the spread though. Like Errol's mentioned many times. They still have a lot of things to figure out on offense. Washington's getting healthier on offense. I just think their skill players are very old compared to this young dynamic Eagle secondary that they have. I think Saquon is a good game in this one, but I don't think they cover the spread. This is a lower scoring game. I'll take Washington to cover Eagles to win. I have been agreed with speedy on everything. I agree with that completely. Don't agree with

everything speedy says because it's not all on this on this take. I do especially. I think the Eagles are going to win. I think I don't think that they're going to cover the spread. I'm going to go Eagles. You know, I'm always going to go Eagles and until I feel I'm not I'm not a serionny fan as everybody knows, but I think Eagles win this game because Washington's still figuring themselves out. I think J. N. Daniels has an unbelievable game. I think he's going to be able to run against them. If you have him in fantasy, you play him against the Eagles this week. I think he's going to be explosive. He's going to give you 36 38 points. So give me the Eagles. It'll be a close game. It will not be a dominant game, but the Eagles will win. I think Washington's offense is going to be better this year. I think their defense is going to be worse. The defense can't be much worse than last year, though. They were like the second worst past defense. They had a fellows. Well, their past defense might be a little bit better, but you know, losing Bobby Wagner and a couple other. I got another one of my rookie of the year picks, sunny styles on that team. I wanted the giants. The draft if he fell to them at 10,

but along with Caleb Downs. They drafted Rees. They got four good ed rushers and Kent Garth of the middle of the field. We'll see how that works. We'll see how Rees action will work perfectly on Sunday night. Let's see how Rees works. I'm sure you will love that as a cowboy's fed. They could just guard the middle. I'm going to lay off when Downs has a breakout game on Sunday night down. I thought the chief should have trapped them. Downs shows why the the giants should have drafted him and he got votes. He got votes for team captain. There we go. All right, speedy. What else? All right, let's go to another one. We'll go to, we'll actually do two more NFL ones. We'll go to the Packers and the Vikings. One and a half point favorites. Green Bay is right now. I'm going to take Minnesota though in this game, though. I think the Packers saw a lot of things to figure out. They didn't they couldn't do much this off season. They had no money really to do anything. I know Minnesota. I don't love the Kyler Murray fit in an O'Connell offense, but I do think Green Bay secondary still has more offense. Where is it going to be? It's in Minnesota. So I'm going to take the Vikings here and this one. I'm going to take the Vikings, but I disagree. I think Kyler Murray is going to have a big game.

I think it's going to be a coming out party for Kyler Murray. I just don't I don't really think very highly of this Green Bay team anyway. So they don't have Micah Parsons. They didn't really do much. They don't have Josh Jacobs. Yeah, I think Minnesota wins wins big. I like Minnesota in this game, but I'm going to I'm going to have to go against you guys because I don't want to keep continuously confident because I'm going to go Green Bay in this game. I think Green Bay wins a close one. I think Joe and love has a big game. All right, we'll finish off with the money and I football matchup. I know Errol and I will probably not agree with this one. Chiefs are two and a half point favorites at home against the Broncos. I'm going to take the Chiefs. You know, I think the Broncos do win the division. I think them getting Eric B. Enemy back. I think a lot of those guys are comfortable with Eric B. Enemy. My homes, I think they'll try to ease him back in. I know you're very high with Kenneth Walker. Errol, I think he has a nice game. The question is like we talked about last week, Bragg's with John the Cooper on the exemplest too. Like, will that impact the Broncos defense to Bonyx? Not 100% still either Jaila Waddle first game in new system. I'll take

the Chiefs on this one. I will take the Chiefs. I think, yeah, everything that you said, obviously Cooper not being in the game is going to be a huge huge difference for the defense. Bonyx not 100% who knows if he's not 100% how much of a fact is Waddle going to have on the game. And I just really don't like Sean Payton. So I'll take the Chiefs. I got why I coach the Cowboys. No, that's not why I got the Broncos in this game. The Broncos are going to win this game. It'll be a close game. It'll go down to the wire. But I saw the Kevin James movie and I was like, I hate Sean Payton. I like the Broncos in this game. You guys are idiots. Broncos win. Broncos win on a close one. All right. All right. That'll go to our one college game. Number one Ohio State against number four Texas Ohio State. Obviously, I'm going with winning winning last year in a very ugly game. I started the year. They beat him in the College for ballpoint off as well. It's not even going to be close. I'm going to take Ohio State in this one. I think the Ohio State defense definitely, I think, is a little ahead of the Texas,

even though Texas, I think, has the better front this year. I still think they're offensive line. Ohio State, I'm going to give the advantage to here and with the running game as well. I'm going to take Texas. I think it's going to be a shootout. Archmaning has not looked good so far this season. And I, if you think three, 75, 21 for 27, these play two games. He didn't look good in his first game. So I'm not going to play one game. It's played two games. It's played two games. Didn't he play two games? He only played one. And he was 21 for 27 for 375 and four touchdowns. All right. Fine. Ohio State wins the game anyways. I can tell us. Tell me how you really feel. Ohio State wins the game. Defends beats a good offense. That's what I'm saying. And I think saying has a good chance of winning the winning the highest metrophy this year. I really do. So we'll see how it all works out. A lot of people are saying, obviously, that you have more, you have, you have archmaning.

I will be at the high smith trophy dinner and arch will be up for a high smith just because he's, he's a man. So I will be there and I will get as many interviews as I possibly can as I, you know, I'm sure Peyton will be there and Eli will be there. I have a feeling that he's going to stay one more year. I don't. Interesting. I don't. I, there's no need for him to do that. I think he goes into before he being drafted by the Browns. It's not going to be. I mean, he's getting, what's he getting? Seven million in the NIL. He's a, it could be more. He's going to make a lot more than that. So when he, when he becomes an NFL player. So with his uncles, it's not guaranteed. He's the first overall pick. Maybe he doesn't. I think it's guaranteed. I think no matter what happens, he can have a terrible season and he's going number one. He's a man because he's a man. I think he's going one, no matter what. And if Miami, all the Browns are drafting at one, he's going one. So because you know, that's where they're going. The jets, I don't think so. If the jets are

drafting at one, Dante more. I think that's the jets plan from day one. They brought in Kenyans to Dijk. There's a reason why they brought in Kenyans to Dijk. I think people, they've had this whole plan. And no matter where they land, even if they have a good season, they're going to try to move up for Dante more. I think that's the guy. And I think that's where the jets are leaning towards. And I think he's the best quarterback in the country, but we'll see as the season moves on. They didn't look good in game one. I'll tell you how they didn't. They were very lucky to win that game. So, but I will tell you that that's not a game. You're going to see every single, every single week. I expect Oregon to put up big numbers every single week and be up for a national championship. And if Dante more wins a national championship, I think he got, there's a good chance he goes on. We'll see. Yeah. Anyways, that is our picks of the week. Now, we're going to get everybody and including the old NIFT. We'll get our joshy over there. They're all going to join us as we call this. What's that smell? Hold up. What is that smell? What's that smell?

Wow. You don't see that every day. Clap that ass. Somebody's got to slap it, ladies and gentlemen. Somebody. I like to slap it. I like the Willie Wops, right, Speedy? I like the Willie Wops. I'm sure you do. We all like the Willie Wops. What do you mean by that? Well, yeah, yeah, perfect Brax Willie Wopper Speedy Willie Wopper. What happened, Nip? I'm on a phone call. All right, so we'll drop it. All right. All right. Let's stop him. Can you stick a finger in his ass? So many smells on one soundboard and it wasn't arrows. I am a disturbing person. I am a disturbing person. There's no doubt about it. Anyways. All right. So tonight, as always, what's that smell? It's very simple. We're going to tell you a story. I'm going to tell you what it smells like. So tonight, it will be Speedy, Dickie Bragg's josh me. Here we go. All right.

I'm going to go to some baseball here and just how historically bad the Washington Nationals bullpen has been this year. They just got their 38th blown save. What a three-some? Yes, they might have needed some three sums to try to get more savings. Breaking news. A lot of hot ladies. 38 saves, which is an MLB record and they're pretty inspected. They're 67 and 80. They have a 5.58 team ERA as a bullpen and deported in perspective. They even convert half of these saves right now. They are in a playoff spot. 86 and 61. There are only a few babies back of the Atlanta Braves. They're ahead of the Philadelphia Phillies with an offense. It's been so good this year with the national circle. Jeric. They're starting pitching. It's not great, but that bullpen historically, historically bad. So what does it smell like? I'm sure this is a guy that a lot of Yankee fans and Metz fans, people both mutually hate on, is the blood and guts after Jonathan Gabelman gets beaten up by Tom Wilson.

Nice. All right, Dick, what do you got? All right, I'm going to stick with baseball. Anthony Volpe, first career MLB start at second base, went three for four, five for guys in a grand slam. What's that smell? It smells like redemption. He's going to be here every day. Second basement next year. Just watch. Yeah, it seems like that's the way they're going because there's not going to be, there's no way Chism's going to be there. That's for sure. All right, Josh. You got a push call. Yeah. All right, let me switch us up to football, specifically college football. I was going to do something on those stupid specter jerseys for the NBA, but I just got this notification and just caught my attention. So Miami is playing Florida A&M right now. The score is currently Miami 77 and Florida A&M 0. So Miami and Florida A&M's coaches have mutually agreed to shorten the fourth quarter to 10 minutes. I do not understand

of all the teams. I am a swissor. Of all the teams to, I guess, play these bottom feet or these bottom-feeding FCS teams. Why is that before? I mean, then when we get to later in the season, if you say like you lose two to three games, you're probably not going to make the playoffs because, guess what, you play Florida A&M. You played a cupcake. So was it smell like it smells like disaster-wain to happen if Miami doesn't get there? You know what together by the end of the summer. There's only one game they should have. If you've seen their schedule, Josh, there's only one game they should lose that may be Notre Dame. Like the rest of their schedule. Look at me, I'm your top user. You never know. You never know. You can take Mario Krustuball out of the, uh, out of the S. I don't know. You can't take the Krustuball out of her. You can't take Miami out of the

Krustuball. Josh, come on. We got to get you to smile one of these days. What do you mean by that? We got to get you to smile one of these days, man. I mean, everything is serious. I see so much seriousness in this kid. But 49ers have, uh, ran the clock back to four years ago with this with this play tonight. Debow with a touchdown. He was the one that used to smoke. Speaking, speaking of running it back, a meeting of the SEC president, Chancellor's Thursday ended without any punishment imposed on LSU. The conference issued a statement following the highly anticipated meeting, which court records had indicated would decide whether a termination of Louisiana State University, according to the statement, the video conference was meant to discuss recent matters involving conference expectation and responsibilities. Those

discussions will continue as the conference and its member universities work towards a appropriate resolution, the statement read. Oh my god. So LSU is safe as of right now. They can continue doing what they want. As we argued with Q on on Tuesday that this is not fair, Jeff called the show. We all agreed. But sides, Q and Jeff that this is not right for college football and the SEC should have trapped the hammer on it. But I guess you were right, Dickey. Somebody's got to be the nail and somebody's got to be the hammer and it doesn't seem like LSU is going to be the nail on this one. The coffin will be all time by SEC. Yep. Worst, walkable time. Aura Pooh, you know what it smells like it smells like speedies undercarriage. For real original. More of the other comments you've had tonight.

Talk about speedies. Hey, 77 to 70. What happens when you're playing? 70 to 80s Miami team because that's what they stopped in. I need a genuine tonic. Mr. I'm on the phone. I'm on the phone. Give me out of here. That's a good breaking news. Busy all day today. Sounds like he was yawning when he said breaking news. Glory, whole. I want to hit it. I have no worry. That's for sure. By the way, that LSU case, I mean, it's playing out exactly like the source V case. The college at fault does something very controversial or controversial and goes against the norms. There's backlash and then they kind of defend the backlash whether it be through politics or

or just sending out a 20 minute video between your athletic director and two other yes men and then all of a sudden they backtrack. So LSU, they don't get their players. They're nice. From the NFL. The source V. They're fine. Right. It's going to be on a practice club. I will see. We'll see. Squeeze the trees. My endo. It's serious. I mean, like you keep playing these sound boards. I mean, seriously, you're going to get me like crackling over here. Yeah, well, somebody we get ice cream. Well, you know what suck my endo means, right? I'm not there yet. All right. Thank you to everybody listening to the show tonight. Everybody on Spotify and Apple that are going to listen to the replay at this show. Thank you to Troy Handbrake for joining us. Our videos on Spotify and Apple and the audio. It's been sensational. Keep it in. Keep rocking. Keep rocking. We're still trying to

figure out this YouTube thing. Honestly, I'm getting so frustrated with this YouTube thing. I'm kind of lost with it. I have no idea why this YouTube, no matter what we do, I'm trying to let we go in this way. We're going that way. We still can't figure it out. So YouTube, you're really pissing me off. All right. This stupid garbage that you're doing. What grinds my gears? Yeah. That grinds my gears, man. But everything else is good. It's just YouTube. I don't get it. But yeah, that algorithm like you go on YouTube. It's just a whole lot of sloth out there. I don't get it. I don't get it. I still don't get people posting things spinning on a cement floor and they're getting 150,000 likes. I don't get it. I don't. I really don't saying that we need to we need to add in some new content. Maybe maybe I should have speedy take a crap on the floor. Yeah, who's going to be the fall guy? It's not going to be me. Somebody's got to do something. Maybe I'll do it because I have no shame at doing things like that.

I did put icy hot on my scrotum. So anybody that does that alive radio is a champ. That's for damn sure. Anyway, that's it for our show. Shout out to Q. I hope everything's okay. I've been hurt from today. I try to reach out to him this morning. He did tell me last night there was stuff going on. So hopefully everything's okay. He'll probably be back on Monday. I promise you guys. But everything I hope it's by the way, thank you to Troy Hamburg for joining us in that story that he told us about his wife. That's horrible. It's a horrible story to hear. So my heart goes out to him and his family and thank you for joining us. And at the 9-11 thing, I just appreciate you just coming on and thank you to Nith being nithin as he always does. And I've got one more form. You want my cream pie? No, I do not. And shout out to all our Instagram fans. There you go. All our ex fans, which we're still that's another thing we're trying to figure out. That ex crab. I don't honestly, I don't care about ex. This is what I care about this YouTube algorithm. I call it

Twitter. I call it it should always be Twitter. I call it shitter. Thank you progressive of you. I call it shitter. Thank you to Kevin Durant, as we all know. I call it shitter. Anyways, Elon Musk who bought it for $15 billion. Figure that one out. Anyways, that's it. Thank you to YouTube guys, all the YouTube people that are posting up and looking at our stop and watching our show live, which we're still trying to figure it out. This algorithm thing. What is an algorithm? That's what I want to know. I figured out when I talked to our today's lesson. Yeah, well, you know what it is? I speak to, I speak to our, the people marketing our spotifying app, they says the algorithm's a little different than YouTube. But he says, getting in the algorithm, it takes time. But once you're in the algorithm, you just grow. I don't see that on YouTube. We could be in the algorithm. We could be a half algorithm. It keeps changing every single month. So it doesn't make sense. I just don't get it. So I hope we do eventually, but the algorithm's

stupid crap. I mean, unless you put, we should put the algorithm itself changes every day, every month. It's just this thing everywhere, searching data sets. So like data sets become popular. The algorithm pushes the popular data set. It's just a constant, constant, regoing, going, going data points that are being searched. I'm going, I'm going to date it out of this crap. All right. I'm just tired. YouTube makes me sick. All right. That's what I feel. It's like the field of dreams, buddy. If you build it, they will come. We just got to keep doing it. I'll tell you what else. What I'll do when I come in. Anyway, that's important. Well, I can tell you what I mean. But if there's kids listening to our show on Spotify and Apple tomorrow, their parents are going to be like, Mommy, what does this mean? I don't get myself into a lot of trouble. All right. That's it. I appreciate everybody. We appreciate everybody listening to

the show. Keep listening to us. We'll be back on Monday. Enjoy all the cuts and all the posts on Spotify and Apple video and audio. We appreciate you guys. Good night. Forks Radio Network. Radio Network.
