• A bill that would raise the interstate speed limit to 75 miles per hour is headed to Missouri Governor Mike Kehoe for his final approval.
• Marideth Sisco, Missouri author, musician, and reporter and columnist, has died at age 82. Sisco was known for her work with Blackberry Winter on the soundtrack of the 2010 blockbuster film, “Winter’s Bone.”
• Children and teens in Springfield will be able to grab free meals at select Springfield Public Schools locations this summer. The meals are for anyone 18 years or younger. No registration or ID is required.
• The Trump administration is reportedly working on a deal to settle the president’s lawsuit against the IRS in exchange for a $1.78 billion "Truth and Justice Commission" fund to pay Trump allies who were investigated by the Biden administration.
