We're going to get a little bit more of this. All right, here we go. Betting weekly live on the Bet River's network. All right, here we go. Betting weekly live with you on a Friday. We are heading into the weekend. My cover along with Doug Kiserion. We're going to get Miss Sarrow in here in a moment as well. We got a super busy Friday. We've got some college football games tonight. We've got NFL Sunday that we have to go through. We have MLB division series. All the game ones are tomorrow. There's WMBA playoff games tonight. There's a huge UFC fight this weekend. There's hot heat tonight. I mean, jeez. It is just nonstop for us here. That's why I love October Doug. It's just it's great. And we have a first high Doug. How are you? Yeah, let's say let's not bury the lead, Carver. I'm not going to bury the lead, but I want to bring you out. I say hello to you. And then I'm going to say, what a night. I mean a smash night for us last night on Thursday on Betting weekly live. The daily double or winter for the second time this week, as we had the over six and a half
Edmonton Vancouver, which actually went over in like the first 23 minutes of the game. The six and a half went over. What an embarrassment hockey. But let's Mitchell, the bet on young all to make two, three so plus two, 37 daily double was a winner on Thursday night. But Doug, let's be honest, we're not even done there. Matt Olson, Homer for the Braves in one inning and you said the seventh inning. I think it over the seventh inning. I think that every hockey game that I talked about last night was a winner, the Rangers on the money line, the Utah mammoth on the puck line, which was just an absolute smash job. You mentioned the first period for Utah, which was do nothing, smash job, the over in Edmonton. I even threw in, I think the sharks could be lively against the Panthers and I, they were up three nothing. You had to go to overtime, but they still got the win. I had conception on with the yards. You had, we had the Braves. Doug, what a night we had on Thursday. Which every day was like, Doug. Dougie Pucks went three and 0 for five units, two rocking chairwins that over
first period and over in the Euler's game. What was the all over like six in the first period? It's just crazy stuff. It's nuts. And then yeah, the mammoth was such a layup. I mean, that was just so obvious. With a great spot back to back. And you got it now. Yeah, great spot and we took care of business. So you know what, just funny time. I have no problem when I come in and say, man, we had an awful, I did an awful last night myself and all that. We get to celebrate. We had a night like last night. We did really good on the show. That's for sure. And we have, as I mentioned, a lot to do this evening. So we have to get right into it. And look who's back. It was very daft of him to not make it on Wednesday during the show as we. We were going to have a Sarah on Wednesday. Little daft to miss out. But we do get about a Friday. We had to clear it with Terry McCauley first, but Chris Masero is with us on Betty Weekly Live to go over most of the weekend stuff. Hi, Chris. How are you? Hey guys, sorry I missed you on Wednesday. It was pilot era. Somehow I control F-Aided something.
I don't know what happened, but we had 16 people working on it. We could not get the microphone to work, but we're back. So you know, I do feel bad because I was a little bit on fire on Wednesday myself. I had the white socks. I was bailing on my red socks. I bet the Yankees pretty big. And I like the Padres too. But I just thought momentum was taken over these three series. And it's came to fruition as they all three of them won. But we can't dwell on the past. We have to move towards the future. And there's a lot of action. Like you said, tonight is action. All we can baseball, football, it's almost an overload. We got Metallica at this fear tomorrow night. Yes. So I'm excited for that. I got the ride the lightning shirt on. And we're ready to go. So let's see if we can find some winners here. We got a nice slate of college footballs that's not in a little bit. Chris, I'm worried. Do you have enough energy for a Metallica? I don't know if you're the right temperament. Yeah, so Doug, if I had an extra ticket, you would probably not be the first person I would invite. Just, you know, you seem a little bit more low key, you know,
just, just probably something like a lounge act for you. Maybe. Yeah, I'm fired up. It's going to be great. Like a pipe and jacket coat. Yeah, you know, a pipe and jacket crowd. Wine and cheese. Well, you know, you are a LA sports fan. The wine and cheese people. Yeah. Rive, arrive, arrive late. Leave early. Come on. Yeah, you get there for three, three innings, four through the chest enough. Steve Metallica, but it has been a long time since I've seen it. I'd love to see him. It's in the Mosh bed and crowd surfing. Get everything, get everything cooking. So that's awesome for Miseric. He's going to see Metallica the spirit of our night. All right, we have tons to do. So let's go. We'll start with college football tonight. We have three games on the schedule, including Penn State, who was completely gutless last week, losing at home to Wisconsin. I mean, belowing a league, letting Wisconsin come and roll over them in the fourth quarter. Now they go to Northwestern, where they've been pretty spunky. Obviously didn't win it in the year. And last week, but covered the number. They were right there towards the end of the game.
They are reopening Ryan Field tonight as well. They've done renovations for it for the past couple of years. Northwestern's been basically playing on like an empty field by the water for the last few years. Now they get back in their home stadium. Penn State minus three tonight, eight o'clock East on big box, 46. And a half is the total. Chris, I'm going after this Penn State team tonight. I can tell you that. I don't blame you. You know what, this Northwestern team might be good. I mean, they beat San Diego, excuse me, a Santa Coda State. They had the blowout win against Colorado. Colorado looked a little bit better of late. And then last week, almost beat Indiana at Indiana. So maybe they're pretty good. Penn State and we're not so sure what they are. They beat Marshall Big Deal. They played Temple. They beat him 27 and nine. But it was a lot closer than the score indicated. I watched that game. And then they beat Buffalo who doesn't really come Buffalo's win list. And last week was pathetic. And it reminded me of just what the Penn State team is.
There I was state from last year in the year before Matt Campbell. He's not really an upper echelon coach. He's not going to be an upper echelon program. And I think you might be right. Now, I'm not sure you mentioned the stadium renovations. I'll tweet out the picture. And I'll tweet out the link to it in a second. This stadium is out of control. It's a billion dollar college stadium. I was supposed to be like budget for like 750 that overruns. It's almost a bit. It's almost a billion dollars. They put the opposing teams locker room under the end zone seats of the student section. It's an absolute perfect situation for half time when the team is already maybe miserable or down and they're trying to coordinate a game plan. They're going to have all the kids kick. They showed the thing in the video. It's pretty unbelievable. The locker room is pretty dismal, too, that they're visiting locker room. So just a couple of quirks, but the stadium itself absolutely stay at the art. Obviously, that's not going to help Northwestern win. But I think Chip Kelly's offense might be able to muster up a couple of quirks here.
And I'm with you. I'm against Penn State. I don't have a big play on it. I need Penn State to lose a couple more games, pretty heavy on the under nine and a half alternate win total. And a loss tonight to Northwestern would go a long way with that. Yeah, a couple of things to keep in mind, sort of like, I don't know, food for thought, teaching points, whatever you want to call it. We often stress not to overreact to what you last saw. And the flip side of that is you've got to be able to pivot and stay fluid. And I think that's what we're doing with Northwestern. We were all on them the previous week against Colorado and that awful weather in Chicago. And they went true to form. But last week, like I was on Indiana a little bit. And, you know, child's has gotten the right coaching. Maybe Chip Kelly has finally figured out how to be an OC after being just rancid and beg us with the Raiders. And he's back to the college game. So I think you have to just stay nimble and adjust on the fly. And I'm OK with admitting I was wrong. So I like this Northwestern team. The one thing to keep in mind, and I say this with,
you know, certain players going back home or revenge games. And we always assume the best outcome. Like, maybe the hype and the emotion of this week with the new stadium is not necessarily a great thing for the wild cats. Maybe it is. We always assume it has to be good, right? You know, the revenge angle and whatever it is. Sometimes these teams aren't qualified to handle it all properly, just the hype of the game and everything. So maybe, just maybe it's a backfires. But more times than not, it's a good thing. And that's why it's another reason why I like the dog. Well, the crowd's going to be the one thing, though. The crowd's going to be into it, like on a control into it. So that's one good thing because they haven't had many crowds the last couple of days. And I think it's better. It's better. And the past, when there was only two teams in the BCS, we saw a team if they lost like in October, they would often lay an egg the next week because their season's done because they suffered a loss. Penn State may have that performance tonight, just because they were sort of that trendy playoff team because they avoided the big three and the big 10.
So maybe one loss does derail them and their effort and their focus. Maybe they're demoralized tonight. I hope so, because they ruined me. Because I bought into all that preseason, Doug. We talked about a lot. Like I got the Penn State playoff tickets, the Penn State overnight and a half. I have all of it because I said, look at this schedule. They got to win 10 games. I think they're going to have a shot losing that game to Wisconsin last week. Really, I'm down on them now going forward. So I won't be maybe going after them here. What do you know? Matt Campbell stinks also in Happy Valley. And you know what? People said that when we did the preview show, they're like, Carver, what are you doing? Matt Campbell, and I was like, you know what? This is different. I love Rocco back. He's going to be good. Wrong. Same old Matt Campbell just did a different color jacket now on the sideline. That's all that matters. Next up, ACC tonight in Blacksburg, Pitt and Virginia Tech, of course, the interesting factoid that's been thrown around all week about this game is that this is the first time you've ever had two 4-0 teams
from Power 4 conferences play each other that neither of them are ranked. Neither Pitt or Vodtech is ranked so far. And both of them are undefeated at 4-0. Vodtech at home minus 2 1 1-2 1 1-2. 54 1 1-2 is the total. I've seen a little bit of Vodtech, Chris, obviously last week against BC was kind of a weird game because they were playing in a Norrester. And it was kind of hard to get a gauge on what was going on. I don't really feel that great about them. And I feel like Pitt has only played bully on some really bad teams when they've had that opportunity. And they had UCF in their place. And that was also kind of marred with a lot of weather and stuff. So I kind of initially felt under tonight 54 1 1-2 with this that maybe this could be a little bit of a blue collar game, Chris. Yeah, I don't know. Vodtech plays pretty fast. The one thing I will say, and I kind of smell when you're cooking there, is that they just played volleyball against two teams that had nothing. Miami of Ohio and Bucknell.
But if you look at the stats, especially Mason Hanchill, the quarterback for Pitt, that everyone's raving about because he has 13 touchdowns. Well, all 13 touchdowns came against Miami of Ohio when they won 59-14. He had seven. And then the other six came against Bucknell when they won 59-nothing. Well, let's look at the two games against power four teams. UCF and Syracuse, and those are bottom level power four teams. They beat UCF 12 to seven, no touchdowns. And then they beat Syracuse 27-13. Again, no touchdowns. So I'm not really sure what Mason Hanchill is all about. He's had some hype. He's had some big games. He's a gunslinger type of guy. But no touchdowns against the power four has me given a little pause to Pittsburgh. And into their first road game of the year, you're going into a crazy atmosphere, enter Sandman, the whole nine yards down in Blacksburg. You're going to be ready to play here as your first road game. That's going to be one thing that they're going to have to worry about. I'm not sure how good Virginia Tech is either. They look very sloppy against PC last week.
They beat ODU. They beat Maryland, but Maryland's terrible. VMI doesn't really count. So this is going to be a proof of it to me game. If I had to play it, I would lean Virginia Tech. I like to be at home. You could probably still find two and a half out there. I would be on Virginia Tech or pass. Pittsburgh just, like you said, bully balls so far haven't really proven it against anyone good. Doug? I lean to the road team, there pit. I think I've been impressed with the quarterback play to be in the season. Now the opponents were shaky. But problem is Franklin loves these spots. They always overdeliver in these sort of situations. But I do think Pittsburgh is more talented. And I would, I mean, I really dislike both coaches, to be honest. But Narduzzi has adjusted on the, I will skive him credit. For being a meathead, he has said that he wish he didn't kick a field goal on things like that in certain past games. So he's evolving and I give him credit for that. Yeah, I guess it's the old ad ad right?
I mean, James Franklin usually doesn't lose to the Narduzzi's and the Bill O'Brien's and these guys, he loses to the Ryan Dades and the Dan Lannings and the guys who are a little bit higher up the ladder. So I'm hoping for a low scoring game tonight under 54 and a half. Maybe both these defenses can actually show up here in a big game between some four and no teams. Can I interest either a you gentlemen in the fighting blue hands of Delaware catching seven at home against Liberty tonight? That's right catching seven at home. The fighting blue hands of Delaware is the newt playing or is the newt out? Oh, I have. I think he was, he's been responsible all week. I don't have a plan again, but I know he's been hurt. The newtchy. I am not sure anything about Liberty Delaware. It's too much going on tonight. I got no opinion on this. That's fine. We could sometimes, sometimes, sometimes you have no move on from the fighting Joe Biden's fighting blue hands of Delaware.

You've got I saw earlier today when I was on Jimmy out in Paul Stone with their college plays for the weekend are on there. JJ Sal Steve Whiss from this morning on the AM show. It's got had some stuff for the soccer there. So make sure you check out the bet rivers banter. All right, NFL Sunday. First of all, Doug, how about the Browns last night being three and one first place. Browns first place. Brownies. Miserie, you got some kind of long shot brown tickets sit in the drawer that I should know about. No, no, I'm actually last night was a rough last night was a rough night for me because I have oversteers win total and I have an alternate Browns win total under.
So not not exactly what I wanted to happen. Plus I was on the I was on the still is last night minus two and a half. I was lucky enough to catch the Roman Wilson anytime and for that. Yeah, that was that was pretty nice. I even forgot that I bet the anytime. So I got an extra 475 out of it and I started a parlay, which we can if we get to the the league game on Sunday. I started a, you know, one of those goofy parlay as I like to put in and I started it with Roman Wilson over 40 yards, alternate receiving, which was like plus 225. So after a good start there, get a couple of the legs to go, you know, to pop in and then maybe we have a super live future down the road. I always love I always love the Miserie parlay because I kind of do crazy stuff like that too. But on sometimes when I'm feeling good, let's go to NFL Sunday. We have our first London game of the year. I know we've already had international games. We were in Brazil last week and the dopey Australia game that we played in week one.
But now we go back to London, Tottenham, Hotspur Stadium for the Colts and the Commanders. Both teams got off the deck last week with their first wins of the season. Colts minus four and a half is the number here at Bet Rivers. 47 and a half is the total. Usually Chris, I'm pretty, I almost always play under. I mean, I'm not playing in these London games. And this is a total that's a little bit higher than usual for a London game. I feel like getting into the high 40s. I understand why, but I lean to the Colts, but I really like the under 47 and a half. I just never feel these games are played at the normal Christmas or pace that we usually see from an NFL game. Yeah, a lot of times the field is a little different to them. Not sure where they're playing this one of its grass of its turf field. The favorite has been pretty profitable in these London games. I don't have a plan this game. I just did see the injury report about a half hour ago. Washington has a lot of guys hurt. It just feels like one of those games where all of a sudden you believe in Marcus Marriota
and then he just kind of lays an egg again. It's like he never puts two big games together. Not a big fan of the indie team either. They just even kind of a mess all year, defensively, not able to stop anyone. I'm just not really sure what this Washington team is. Last week, even though they beat Seattle, the defending champs, if you look at the bot score, they only had like 246 total yards. Seattle outgained to buy almost 200 yards on the overall. So I'm not really sure if that was more about Seattle being just sloppy. I know Donald had two turnovers. I just, I can't back Washington, especially overseas. And I don't really want to lay three and a half with indie. So I'm just going to pass on this game. Yeah, I'm on the underdog here. A couple of things. Early money was coming in on the dog. I guess the respectulation that Jayden Daniels might play. It's now four and a half. A couple of things. The Washington run defense has been outstanding, like outstanding stuff rates, tops of the NFL, allowing 82 yards per game, 3.8 yards per carry. It's been really impressive.
And the Colts have not been that good. So their running backs have been hit at the line of scrimmage are behind it, 57% of the time, which the second highest rate in the league. So maybe it opens up with the passing left and right and we have an over. I could see the over for sure. But I like Mario to his stats have been really good. And Chris brings up a good point. How consistent is he? How reliable it is. But they played Seattle last week. And so yes, some of the metrics say that Seattle should have won. But this is a different animal. I don't know how good the Colts are. I will say they've played a really tough schedule. I mean, the first two weeks they played the Ravens and Chiefs. I mean, think about the quarterback play there. And then got CJ Stroud last week at home. So very different. I think this is going to be a tight game. I know favorites historically have performed well in international games. But I think the commander's supposed to points to the side. I'm going to stick with my under. I'm going to go with my usual London under here with these two. And that maybe we get a little bit of a slow, slow going game.
I could see it go on either side as far as that part goes. The Patriots in to Buffalo against the Bills. So you know, look, I don't want to rain on on Sarah's parade too much. But obviously he's had the Red Sox this week who have already been swept away by the Yankees. And now he goes play my other team up in Buffalo this week with the Pat's kind of real in a bit. Drake May hasn't looked good. One and two so far. Defense really was the only thing that looked good in that stealer game. And the Bills, Chris, are coming off a game where they basically tried to hand the game to the Chargers and the Chargers wouldn't take it. And the Bills still ended up winning and covering. So I have a feel in the Bills are going to be a little bit more on their best behavior after playing so poorly against the Chargers last week. And the Patriots won the division last year. I think there's some stuff where the Bills are going to have a lot of gas on Sunday, Chris. Yeah, they might. And now that the news has come down that Christian Gonzalez and Baramore for the Patriots are both out who ruled out so massive, massive hit to the defense.
But if you look at the injury report, I'm not sure who's been ruled in and out. Yes, yes or no for the Bills. But there's a laundry list of guys on the Bills that are questionable or didn't practice or limited practice yesterday. So it's going to be a war of attrition. I know that the Patriots are going to miss those two guys, but I also know it's a division game. I also know they came in the last year in Bifuffalo. And it's one of those games where you just, you know, you look at some of the metrics where the Patriots lost about 35 to 6 last week. Games losing by three touchdowns, the following week have a great record against the spread. Division game getting seven points versus a team that, you know, they've been playing pretty tight the last few years. I really like the Patriots in this game. I know it sounds crazy and it's not a home or pick at all because I was on Jackson the last week. I just feel like this is, you know, you're going to rally the troops. Everyone's been making fun of me all week. Everyone's been making fun of me. I know it's not like I'm playing a lot of games.
I know a lot of people are tweeting off that May, doesn't like playing for Vrable because he was, you know, he wasn't faithful to his wife. And he's a Christian man. It's crazy. Crazy. Crazy things. Oh, yeah. I said it didn't, I sent the tweet to talk. It's pretty nuts. That there's more than one person tweeting that out. So I just feel like it's one of those games where everyone is down on the Patriots. They have no chance. I've heard 50 people tell me they're teasing Bifuffalo down to one or pick or whatever it is. They're teasing it with Seattle. You know, those are recipes for disaster. They were hanging the line at six and a half all week just because of that reason. You know, they they tempt you to bet it. Now it's, you know, I've seen it's a full seven some other spots after the injury. But I just feel like, you know, no point in telling it to circle the wagons moment for the past, not the bills. And I think they, I think they, I think they hang in there and you know one thing with that Buffalo defense, the backdoor is going to be open the whole time. Seven points is going to be a chance to come back. If you look at it quickly, Buffalo really should be one and two. We should have they should have lost last week five turn five turnovers.
Some will get the win and cover. And if last winter catches that interception a week one Buffalo loses that game. So just going to look at a little outside the box. I think the Patriots will bring a pretty good effort after a pretty poor effort last week in Jacksonville. You know, I think this all comes down to Drake May and like what version are we going to see? I mean, a lot of the critics last year said it was scheduled based and then he struggled. He never struggled like this. I mean, drop in the ball when he's trying to throw. This was stuff is, you know, pretty ridiculous. So one would think that he'd be better. A lot of all of us were on the chargers last week. The teams typically step up when they've been playing poorly in the NFL. They do this, maybe not college when teams are pitiful like San Diego State. But in this case, like, yeah, I mean, Patriots make the most sense with that Buffalo defense. I guess the question Chris is like, what are you expecting from Drake May and even Josh McDaniel's because some of this stuff is just wild. Yeah, I agree with you. The main key is going to be trying not to just not turn the ball over.
I mean, some of the throws he's making are just his fall. You know, I've watched some of the film in the game last week. Guys were open. He's making the wrong read. He's fighting to put it into a spot where it doesn't exist. You know, it's not the ideal situation. He lost his two favorite receivers from last year at Diggs and Booty. They bring an AG Brown. And he obviously liked was, you know, really you could see in that first half, first half of the Seattle game. He was really all over them. They had a nice little rhythm together and then he gets hurt. So you're going to just not turn the ball over. I'm sure that's been stressed all week long by Brable. Brable also lost a loss. That's a really good record against the spread. I just think there's going to be a little bit better effort. And I'm not saying or taking too much away from Buffalo. I know they said they should be one and two, but their defense is not that good. They're giving up 5.5 yards of play. The back door is going to be open. I think it's going to be a tighter game, the vision game, give me the seven points. By the way, Carver, you're Mr. Touchdown. Yeah. This Josh Allen stuff, he should be minus two dollars. It's minus 117. It's he's a vulture on the goal line and he's also very good.
So I don't know how this is still around this price range every week. This was the first touchdown that jumped out of my eyes, Doug. When I last night when I started going through them all because I can't understand that he has two touchdowns in the first three games and he's still, I mean, it was minus one tenet bet rivers in each of the first really this morning. Each of the first three games he has two touchdowns. Now I know eventually he's going to have a game where he doesn't score a touchdown. But the number like Doug is saying like at this price, you got to play it. If it was minus 200, Doug, I wouldn't be playing. It should be McCaffrey's price every week. Right. With the way they're going. And I'm all in on it. And look, I do understand what you're saying, Chris. There's ever like a little kind of little backs against the wall. Like really got to show up effort. The Patriots need it badly this week. I mean, one in three is not where you want to pay. Obviously, we're not we're not splitting the atom here. And the bills being three and no, I just feel like they had there try to hand the other team a game game last week against the chargers.
And they tried to hand it to him week one to Lee Josh Allen through the pass in the end zone to nobody and should have been picked off. These things happen. You know, it's just sometimes. Trick me. Trick me. It's been a turnover machine all year. The last year. But Josh Allen likes to put the ball into Hansway. Don't get it. I think the Allen touched out. And Doug, I actually thought I said this to somebody the other day too. I feel like if we just took and parlayed for like a funsy every week, all 17 weeks or every 16 weeks, whatever it would be, Allen to score two touchdowns and Derek Henry to score two touchdowns. Just parlay those two pieces together every single week of the season. Would we come out ahead at the end? I believe that's hit two of the first three weeks. Allen two touchdowns, Henry two touchdowns. So you'd have a little bit of buffer, right Chris? You'd be up quite a bit where you can keep playing that few weeks. Well, they, yeah, I mean that thing with that, not only does he get two rushing touchdowns, he gets two passing touchdowns and he did that the first two weeks of season. It's just incredible. It's, it's, it's, it's the, I just think it's, you know, around the goal line, he's
the vulture kind of like, you know, everyone talks about some of these other quarterbacks, like Jalen hurts. He's right around there and they just shoehorn him in and it's a good weapon, right? It's only gets a charity of the project. Like he's a weapon around there and he'll tuck it in, run and who knows, maybe we'll throw half back past all on it against the Patriots defense Mike. Well, look, I hope he, I hope he has five touchdowns against the Patriots defense this week. Jack, it'll be just a week in a minute. I'm just trying to go that get Chris, all Chris teams misery this week. I mean, my Yankees and the Red Sox, the bills and the Patriots. Let's go here. You know, at least if the Bruins beat the Bruins beat the Rangers on a good night. Good. Uh, Jags and Bengals in Cincinnati. I love this Jaguar team. I've been talking about them every single week. Here they are again in Sinci. They're getting two and a half. I thought the Sinci defense looked awful again. I mean, they're the only team that has allowed that. I guess the, the stealer offense got going a little bit in the second half last night. I get the browns, but I think the Jags are better than the Bengals.
It's two and a half. There's a big total at 51 and a half. Anything for you, Chris, on this one. You know, I just had to put my picks in for a contest in town. And I really liked this number. I played it earlier myself at 51, I believe it. And the contest was using 52 and it was my last pick. And I still used it. I went over the total. And the Bengals defense, I know it's better against the run, but against the past, it's still terrible. Aaron Rogers almost put a 300 yards last week in three touchdowns. Tampa Bay was moving up and down the field on them. Tampa should have had that game, you know, Baker fumbled a couple fumbles. He had the fun going into the end zone. And Jag was, you know, good record, look good, but they're giving up a lot of yards per play. You know, Drake May, you know, they moved the ball last week, but he was just, you know, a recipe for disaster when it got to the red zone. But the Jaguars had given up 5.8 yards of play. So I think there's going to be some points in this game. If I was going to play it, I'd probably play the Jags on, you know, a teaser.
It looks like a perfect spot for a teaser, get up to eight and a half. But I really like the over 51 and a half. I know 51's a key number, but I looked at the weather. It's perfect. No wind. This is going to be a shootout type of game. The less they have big drives, I think this field goes, I turn it over in the red zone. I can't see this game staying under 51. I just, I love the way, you know, Cincinnati's offense is obviously awesome. Everyone's healthy. If they can protect Barrow, he's going to put up points. And I think Trevor Lawrence has come into his own the last, you know, half a year to the beginning of this season. He looks like the real deal. He looked creating it's the Patriots. He had a, you know, really solid game and they got some good receivers. They're not, you know, not household names, but they're going to put up some points against a Cincinnati backhand. So I like the over this game. Yeah, I wouldn't bet under, but I do like the Jags here. I don't think Cincinnati's that good. And they had a kind of a war last week. Now they're coming home here, but I think sometimes, and I mentioned earlier, you have to pivot along the way, all that blah, blah, blah. I think Jacksonville, how they've looked, I mean, they've only played like what?
One and a half bad quarters or not even bad, but they got out played only for one and a half quarters. That was in Denver, second half and a virtual must win for the Broncos. Other than that, they've looked apart and they're kind of a wagon at home in September in the Florida humidity. And they demonstrate that and look, they manhadowed the Browns, all of a sudden the three and one Browns. I'm not saying it should be a feather in their cap, but maybe it's not as an assumption and kind of go through the motions win that we thought it was. Maybe it's like, oh, wow, maybe they played okay, right? To just manhandle Cleveland, because nobody else has been able to do that. I think it's the right side. It's a little too trendy of a dog, so that concerns me. I like him in a teaser for obvious reasons, but the point total is high. But I think they're the better team. Joe Burrows great. And if he enchase, light up this defense, so be it. But I think this is the only side you can play in this game. I know you like Trends, Doug. And someone just brought this up. Jay Main brought it up in the chat. And I did see it earlier in the week and I couldn't believe it. Trevor Lawrence, Owen Tennis, a starter if the total is 49 or more.
You heard that one this week going through. When the total's over 49, Trevor Lawrence is Owen Tennis as a starter. Marty, how many of those was Urban Meyer involved? When Urban Meyer was chasing Skirt at a bar after the game. And just like that. I also saw the Bengals are the only team Lawrence hasn't beaten in the AFC. So that is well wrong. You get to remember last year was a meltdown. So it's a little bit of a revenge game for the Jags. They blew on it since an ady last year. Very true. Very true, therefore. All right. We do have a game of three and no teams this week. I don't think anyone expected the Raiders to be three and no in week four. But they got the Chiefs come again as well at three and no Chiefs. This has now been pumped up to five. 47 and a half is the total. Doug, why don't you start with this one? Because I know you got a lot of good stuff on Chiefs Raiders. Yeah, I like the Chiefs here. You know, I think it's a tough spot for the Raiders.
Just because we talk about the gas tank and everything like that. Not that they're going to be done for the year, but it's tough to get up for big games weekend and week out. And they got up for that Chargers game. That was after their opener, right, with the new coach, new quarterback, everything. And so then they go to New Orleans and really impressive win. They're going to be up for this game. They're not going to mail it in. But I just don't know what's left in the gas tank. And I think the Chiefs kind of went through the motions last week. So I think they're going to be the fresher team. And if you're into this trend, when a team is heading into their buy like Kansas City is and facing a divisional opponent that's not, so Raiders don't have a buy next week. 58, 25 and one, which is an insane percentage over the last decade plus. Chris, it's Chiefs for me. I'm with Doug on Chiefs. Yeah, I kind of wanted the Chiefs because they own the Raiders period.
That's one of the things. They just own the Raiders. I was a little concerned both teams with some travel. They both were on the East Coast and they're both going all the way back to Vegas. So I was one thing that was kind of caught my eye. But I'll tell you one thing, when the injury report came out today, I was looking at it. And besides Simmons that left tackle for Chiefs who hasn't really played. Everyone's healthy in this game. I mean, Bowers and Mayor, aren't even on the, they have no designation on the injury report. I think there's going to be some points in this game. I thought Miami moved the ball pretty well against, against Chiefs last week without H.A. I mean, he's their main guy. He comes out of the game in the first, first series. And they were still able to move it pretty good. I've been pretty impressed with the Raiders. They moved a great against the Saints last week. A little bit of help from the officials on a couple plays. The pick play that resulted in a touchdown that they didn't call. And a couple of, a couple of questionable calls along the way. But the Raiders have been pretty good. I mean, Cousins, he'll make that one big mistake.
But so far this year, he's been pretty good. He's got a lot of weapons. Chanty looks pretty good. I mean, Brock Behringer is just uncoverable too. And I think he's only going to play a lot more this week. He's going to use him more. He's probably feeling healthy, no designation, like I said, on the injury report. I would be surprised with this in points in this game. I think the Raiders are going to score enough. And I don't think the Chiefs are going to let the Raiders win the game. So I think he could maybe end up with like a maybe the game gets into the 50s. You know, you're looking at maybe a 28, 24 or 28, 27 type of game. I think I saw the total dip down to 47 and a half, 48s kind of key. So I haven't made a play yet, but I'm leaning towards over in the Raiders Chiefs game. Okay. POI NTS points, points, points. They're in Vegas this weekend. That's a good weekend. You know, you know, Metallica Saturday night Chiefs Raiders on Sunday. It's a nice weekend if you're if you're hanging out in town. The Broncos will be in San Francisco against the 49ers Broncos. Kind of start to feel like last year's team, right guys?
Like last year they had all those second half comebacks. And here we go. Two weeks in a row, Jacksonville and the Rams. They come back at home from double digits to win both of those games. Now they go see the Niners who are three and oh, I'm not really, I don't know about this nine or three and oh. They played a Ram team, which was completely disinterested on the other side of the world, the Dolphins who stink and Arizona. I don't know if I know too much about the Niners yet either. There are minus two and a half, 47 and a half is the total Chris. Yeah, I would say until further notice, just bet against the Broncos first half. It's I'm going to honestly, I'm not saying that the Niners are going to win this game because maybe Denver comes back again. They have a good defense that wears on you and turns the ball over and gets stops in the second half, which is huge. You know, a lot of teams are the opposite. They can't stop you in the second half. It seems like the Broncos have been able to get stops every single game. Well, it's take the first game out with the Chiefs, which is kind of a no-show game. But they got stops against the Jags. They had a, you know, they were down 10, 3 and a half that game.
They got stops against the Rams second half. They were down 16, nothing. So if Mike Evans and Trent Williams are in, if they're active for this game, I mean, I am definitely betting Sanford and first half. They have minus one right now. I'm not going to mess around with the game because we keep seeing these ridiculous comebacks. And even though I don't think much about Nick's, he just keeps doing it. I just, I don't know how he keeps doing it. He puts the ball into harm's way a lot too, but they just, you know, the track records there, they keep winning these games. They're reckoning one score games is something completely ridiculous. So I'm going to wait for the actives. I know it's a late game on Sunday. If Williams and Mike Evans are both in, I will be on CFPF and first half. Doug? I like the Niners here, but you raised a good point. I mean, facing Arizona, Miami at home, both. And then a jet lag Rams team. Those are three of the worst teams in the league, right? So I just think they look sharp and I know the receivers are going down, but as long as Kittle is healthy, I'm betting on this team.
I think they look really crisp. And this Broncos team, I don't know, they seem in a funk in a lot of ways. And I'm not in love with Bo Nix. And I think the play calling is still suspect. So begrudgingly, Niners. Yeah, but think though they beat the, we just praise the Jags. And when the Rams are the favorites for the Super Bowl, and they have the two, those are the two wins. So it's right. It's, it is, it is a complex game. I'm taking the Broncos on Sunday. I like the Broncos here. I think the Niners are ready to lose a game. I really do. I think they're finally stepping up here against a better team. I mean, our equal team, I should say that I'm not saying the Niners are bit. I don't think the Niners like we just documented it. Really played a team of Denver's level yet on that playing field. I don't count the first Ram game. So I'm going to go and take a shot with Denver on the road here in San Francisco against the Niners. Sunday night game. We have all these great games on Sunday, but then they give us the Lions and the Panthers on Sunday night at eight o'clock.
Bizarre. Lions are now four point road favorites here. Total is up to 51. Man, they got Chris. They got lots of injuries in that Carolina secondary too. They're going to be in a lot of trouble on Sunday night. I feel like. Yeah, both, both secondaries are ravaged. You know, Detroit just can't stop anyone in this curious stat that I, this is what led me to that crazy poly two weeks ago when I hit the touchdown prop in the bills. Lions game on Thursday night is that for some reason, and they haven't corrected it yet. Detroit Lions have given up two touchdowns to the tight ends in each of the three games. The first game they gave up to Fant and Johan Johnson for the Saints week two Thursday night can cater knocks. And then last week, Cedique and what's his name? Ruck, Ruckert on the Jets. So they've given up six touchdowns to the tight ends. So I'm not going crazy, but I'm going to play both of these tight ends on Carolina over their receiving yards. I'm going to ladder them up.
If I can, these are the two guys I talked about that I started with the Wilson Pyle last night, but I'm Darren Waller has been awesome all year. And Tommy Trembl is a backup, but hey, these backup tight ends, as we've seen in the other three games have come through not only with their yards props, they've got touchdowns. So anyway, you want to play it. I'm just throwing it out there Sunday night, something fun, you know, maybe a down and you little come back. There's going to be an opportunity for these tight ends to eat against this secondary. Alliance have trouble covering the tight end for whatever reason. And I just, I mean, how can this not be a high scoring game? I mean, you got the big receivers for Carolina to get the explosive offense and Detroit. I don't anticipate it being any bad weather. So golf should be fine, even though it's outdoors. I mean, how is it not attractive? I know the prime time under things been a thing, but lately this year, it hasn't. So we'll see. I just think it's an over game. And I'm going to be on tremble and I'm going to be on down wall or over as much as I can,
laddering up and hopefully a couple of touchdowns. Doug? I am on the home dog and like a pick-em-league. I don't know if I'm going to bet it, but I do like the over. I think we see a lot of points. Now, Horn is out for Carolina. He's got a torn quad. I mean, that's a massive blow. Yeah. But home dogs going into their buy are usually a really good trend. And with the extra kind of over three here, I think that's how you played. But the Lions can score it will. But I think the Panthers can hang around and light it up themselves, but I don't see anyone betting the under in the game. These were the spots, Doug, last year that you had to back the Panthers. If you remember, when the better teams came to Carolina, remember the regular season game with the Rams? I know they then played him in the playoffs. They had a couple teams come in and they were getting a lot of points at home, not a little bit more than four. But still, they were wanting to win the games outright. Wasn't there an Eagle game or Ram game? They played well. I think those teams at home. And I don't know if it's one of those where they're snuck up on teams and people dismissed
Bryce Young and now that he's not sneaking up on teams because with Canalus and everything they can actually find passing lanes for him and you can see over the line through a boss. I still don't think the Panthers are that good. I mean, they should have won last week. They had, I believe, four dropped interceptions last week of DeShon Watson. And then also they picked one off in the end zone, but it was rough in the passers. So that game they should have won. I'm still bitter. But either way, I think they're like a medium team, French playoff team, one of those like ugly teams from the NSC South. And I think it's a, you know, it's could be just one of those awful beats. Maybe it comes down to a two point conversion down 11 and they score a touchdown and go for two. And I'm going to play James and Williams because he's been super quiet through the first three games for the Lions. And this is the perfect opportunity with just a ravaged secondary for Caroline and for where James and Williams can finally maybe bust one, get one deep, whatever it is. So plus 185 for James, it's going to be one of my touchdowns on Sunday as well. And I like Chris. I'm going to play with those tight ends with Chris to for Caroline. I know.
I'm going to be really sharp and try to get involved with all that. All right. We are repressed for time. So let's rumble through the rest of NFL Sunday really fast. Doug, give me something in the Vikings and the dolphins in the late window. Well, I think the under. It's the lowest total on the board, but I think for good reason. Minnesota can't do anything on offense. Completely inept. Maybe the dolphins are what just what the doctor ordered, but I'll believe it when I see it. And they might hold Jefferson out. It's not a big game. They got a big one next week. I think he's out. I think he's a good rule that well, there you go. And you put me on to this last week, Jordan Addison. And I think that he's got a course. I didn't bet it last week because he's simpatico with wence. So I didn't. You know, but I guess I'm not. I guess Murray likes that's new. That's new to me, but I didn't play. I'm going to go to Addison too. Well, I think the team told her for Miami's interesting. I believe this is the first time ever a defensive coordinator is faced a team that he's suing. So currently in a lawsuit with Miami, I think he's out for blood.
I think they're going to be just pin their ears back. I would run a screen like the first five plays about Miami. But they're a disaster. I really think Owen 17s on the table and they just lost their best player A-Shan. So I like team total under first half team total I'd look at maybe six and a half. OK. Are they really scoring three field goals or a touchdown? I don't know. I mean, Murray's pretty inept. They're not going to matriculate up the field like a 14 play drive. But as long as they just punt, I don't know what the dolphins do. This Minnesota team wants blood. And I think it's going to be more pronounced than the first half. So maybe even Minnesota first half, that would require them to score a little bit, which is not guaranteed. I like under for the game. I think Minnesota is going to be pretty vanilla in the second half if they have a lead. I think the real question is for those still alive, do you do survivor? Do you use the Vikings? Uh, yes. I would. I would too. And I'm also out. I'm also out of all the stuff. But I'm not happy about it. So I guess that's to me would be the way to go.
I mean, it's textbook. Double digit favorite you may not be used again, right? But it's still, you want to go out on the Viking. But I honestly think the dolphins are going on 17. I really do. OK. They're not an NFL team. In the past, I've never said that even when the lions went on 16, I didn't say they would and the browns. I just thought they'd win a game. This is not an NFL team. It is not. Um, Chris, uh, Doug has a chance to finish off with the chargers this week. 60 to one to start Owen for that he talked about on our preseason show. Chargers to go Owen for to start the season with 60 to one because they had those. Arizona and Raider games the first two weeks of the season. So they are at the Seahawks. Seahawks by the seven 43 is the total. So I was I was all over. Um, I bet it already I bet the chargers plus seven. But I'm probably going to monitor it. You know, it's my best I can because I don't like it now.
The mcconkey apparently limped off practice yesterday. Um, with foot again and, um, if he doesn't play, they, they just, whether he, he catches a ball or not, he is the only guy that people have to cover. Um, no one's open for this charger team. They made, they did a lot of swing passes. They, you know, they got just a bunch of, it's just a, it's just a mess on offense. It really is. The not getting a protection. Herbates making the wrong decisions. The one guy that he can count on mcconkeys are injured. Two of the tight ends are put on, you know, I.R. It's just kind of a mess. But I like plus seven, you know, with a team that's o and three, they have to win. And, you know, both teams travel back from the east coast. I think you're getting seven, but that mcconkey. That's kind of, that's kind of tough. I think that has a good chance of hitting that bet. I'm hoping the other one that I have at one and four for the Rams still has a life that the Eagles can. I don't know. The Eagles can pull it off. I know, uh, Donald's not playing and Pukas supposed to play. So that's, um, you know, couple of L.A. teams and a little bit of hurt right now.
Yeah, I think the chargers get waxed when they went, they went all in last week. You can't go all in and then lose and then be good the next week. Like it doesn't work like that. Um, they're just not good. And the mcconkey thing is huge and the Seahawks coming home in that afternoon slot in the crowd and. I mean, it hats off if they cover and win or win outright like hats off to them. But I think the Seahawks will be ready. Remember, like Mike McDonald's still now what? 17, five and one against the spread. Um, he's a beast. Seven to keep in mind. You know, we talk about this all the time with teams. You got to, you kind of got to anticipate versus react. Giderian price. I think he's done in terms of his starting role in Seattle. He fumbled. He's got an issue. We only carried the ball five times. I believe there's a prop of 12 and a half carries. And once his yards prop gets posted, I bet the under it bet rivers. So I think a manual Wilson's the guy. And this is a Seahawks offense that is 12 running back carries inside the 10 this year. Okay. Second most. Zero touchdown runs.
So. And their expected TD is 4.4 in that 12 rushes inside the 10. So really strange. There's got to be some positive regression. You can only go to JSN so much. So I think Wilson anytime touchdown plus 180. I think he's. I think I think price unders. Wilson touchdown. I think you just got a. We saw this last year with the with the Patriots, right? There was the fumbling. Fumbling issues. With Henderson. No, the other guy. Sorry. Stevenson. Stevenson. And then. But by will say this was I thought was really not good coaching. He was a faithful and loyal to his running back. But he's just saying that he was going to stick with it. They're going to work through it. All that stuff. You're not hearing that from McDonald. I think the batons been passed. So unless he comes out and says it. We're going to work with these guys. Although I think Wilson's the guy. And I think that's what I think. I think that's what I think. I think that's what I think. I think that's what I think. I think that's what I think that's what. Yeah. I think the two of us is, I think, too, I think Wilson's the guy. And I think there's opportunity to buy low and all that stuff
before we see it in front of our. You know, sells on on Sunday. Alright, I'm going to rip through these everyone's pickup. If they have, if there's something that they like in them, the bears are minus three and a half at home against the J. It's total is 43. In that one. We'll see who it's going to be a quarterback for the bears. Obviously K eskinin was outstanding on Monday night. Heightens 43. I would say, I know it sounds horrible, but all the ones on there, second, excuse me, the third center. Go forth. Fourth. So they're moving the guard over. Yeah, I mean, and of course, of course I know he practiced in full yesterday, but he was on the injury report. Marjacks with the back injury again. Never ends. It just never ends. And you know, Henry, Henry's getting the big extra workload. He's getting a little older. It's going to get to, it's just a lot of points for a team that's on three. And we know when you're lying, isn't that much shambles. And you're going up against a pretty good defense
of front in Tennessee, and where things can happen. We all know Baltimore has been off a big man too. Yeah, coming back from Rio, you know, or whatever. So I just, I think it's a Tennessee or past type of game. I know it's ugly. They look terrible. You can't, you can't be any lower on Kim Ward. I mean, I like Tennessee this year. I thought the coaching staff was going to be able to really change his team around with Dave O'Brien a great offensive coordinator, solid being great on defense. It just, I don't really think it's that bad. I think it's just Kim Ward is that bad. I mean, last week, awful. The week before he could not complete a screen pass. Well, it's like, is it bad or is he just nothing special? It's just blah, right? It's really just blah. You can't do the, you can't do the, just the average thing that you need to do to move the steps. Every drive is just painful to get it first down. I mean, that's just my opinion. It's nothing's working. Tough to watch. This game probably we should have gave a little more attention.
Other Rams, three and a half point favorites in Philadelphia against the Eagles, 42 and a half is the total. A lot of people are going to be down on the Eagles after Monday night, Doug. A lot of people are going to be down on the Eagles after Monday night. Well, look, I was on the Bears Monday because I thought it was a terrible spot for the Eagles. Two and a half and happy. And as weird as it sound, they didn't get up for Monday night football. Back up quarterback. We know this in the NBA every sport. They just teams play down and relax a little bit when the star is out. I think the Eagles will be up for this game. I think it's a good spot, but I think the Rams are too talented and overcome it. Because I think the Rams want revenge off the last year, the worst beat in the season, the block field goal, scoop and score, all that nonsense. And Pukas, I'm expecting him back. I should have bet the three. I knew it was going to be one sided action. I knew it would go to three and a half. So mad. Eagles have issues. They didn't look good against the Titans. They didn't look that good against the Washington defense. They were up 17, three and the second quarter and then didn't do much the rest of the way.
This should be a circle the wagons game for Philly, but I don't know. I mean, they still got a rookie play call from Sean Manion who's not good. So I don't know what to make of this team. Yeah, I'm pulling for the Eagles due to that Rams bet that I have at 15 to 1 for them to start the season 1 and 4. Which we have live next week as they have to travel back to play Buffalo. It's just a horrible spot for the Rear. I wrote in my notes today. It's a horrible spot for both teams. I mean, the Rams off that crazy Sunday night game in Denver get a go back to LA and fly all the way across to Philly. Philly on Monday night in the road have to come back. From spot for both teams offences. I mean, I know the offense is kind of kicked into high gear in the second half of the fourth quarter on Sunday night. The Rams offense was pretty stagnant for a lot of that game and the Eagles offense was non-existent. I mean, only putting up one touchdown, which basically shouldn't even have happened for the Eagles of that touch push right before the half against a Bears defense. They gave up what, 30 something to Caroline and Week 1. Philly's got a lot of problems.
Camp block on the offensive line. Hurts doesn't run as much anymore. And you see why? Because you almost got killed on the sideline the other night. So it's a lot of issues there. And maybe in under. I don't have a plan to get in the room for the Eagles. But maybe in under, I peaked at the number of last night. I'm like, wow, it's 42, 42 and a half. They know. It could be a better score in game on the Sunday night. Battle of Texas, Cowboys and Texans. Texans minus 3.48 is the total in that one. You have an undrafted rookie quarterback and Jalen Daniels from Kansas starting for Tampa. And the Packers are minus 4 with a 39. Now, if the Packers can't beat Jalen Daniels on Sunday, they got, they got really big problems. You got a bad Houston, right? Houston? I like the Packers. I think they're getting healthier. I like the Packers too, Doug, in the Tampa game. And they got, they got 10 days to stew off that ridiculous performance. Yeah, but did they get anyone back? Is that they're, they're, they're, they're, they're, they got a couple of long guys.
No. I don't know. I don't know. And I'll end it with this. I'm playing the Giants this week. I can't believe that I'm doing it. I'm playing the Giants. Just wait. They're betting like they know the final score. This thing's going to hit three. There is no way that the Arizona Cardinals on back-to-back weeks on the road, traveling across the country should be favored over anyone. I don't care. I don't care that James Winston has looked awful since he's come in. This is insane that the Cardinals are favored in this game. And I know Andrew Thomas is out, and that's a big part of it. And that's a big thing for the Giants. They're five and 17 the last three years when Andrew Thomas doesn't play. But I don't care. I'm playing the Giants. It's a principal play for me, Chris. I'm playing the Giants. They did evaluate James Winston and went and traded for McCarthy, just to say. For your point, the summertime line was Giants minus seven, I think, or seven and a half.
Come on. Things have changed. Things have changed. Things have absolutely changed. There's no question about that. All right, NFL Sunday, there it all is for us. All right, we don't have a lot of time. Let's do this as quickly as we possibly can. Four game ones in baseball on Saturday. The Yankees will be in Tampa against the raise. It will be Garrett Cole against Raskusin in game number one, raise minus one, 32 Yankees plus a buck, 10. Seven flat is the total for the first game. I will say very quickly, I think that this series is going five games. I think over four and a half games at Bet Rivers is something like plus one, fifty five or somewhere in that area. I think it's a five game series. I think that the numbers a little just for the race should be favorite in the series. I understand why they're not. It's the Yankees, et cetera, et cetera. But I do think the raise have to have game one. Because if they lost game one and they have Schlippler twice still coming at them, they're going to be in serious trouble, Chris. Serious trouble.
I agree with your point that it probably goes five. But Raskusin owns the Yankees. I mean, the old ones, the stats are here to 163 average, 21 for 129 only three home runs. He just crushed it a couple of weeks ago up at the Yankees stadium. So I think the raise, I think the raise are getting a little disrespected here. I think they should be the favorite too. But with Schlippler and the Yankee are, you got to kind of make them the favorite. The other, I just, I heard today that they finally sold out the whole stadium for the first time all year. It's like standard room and it's going to be nuts. And the only thing you get to worry about is the layoff of the hitters. They haven't played for four or five days. Raskusin just, he's been so good against the Yankees. He's been tough to take the Yankees in game one. I would agree. I'm on the raise. I think first five a little bit more. But this raise lineup, like doesn't get enough attention. They got some bats and they got some speed on there. Those guys can fly some of those dudes. So I think they put a lot of pressure. We're getting the Yankees' riding lineup.
So you don't get gold smit leading off or whatnot. I think Yankees team total under three and a half is a good play. It kind of removes the Garrett Cole variance out of the equation because he get pitch grade or he can give a home run. I would just rather do Yankees under three and a half. Yeah, Diaz and Settler Mullins have some pretty solid stats against that. Yeah, they do. White socks fly Simpson and all those dudes. They, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's. And watch Mr. and the series to the red socks didn't really take advantage of it because they couldn't. The Yankees defense in the infield can be atrocious. If the raise, they bumped a lot, bumped to the left side, bumped wherever, little slap hits. The Yanke, let the Yankees throw the ball and knock the ball all over the place. That honestly would be the key for me being a Yankee VanWan. How do you beat them? I feel like they're going to be in the field. I actually have to make place. I feel like that's one of the keys to getting through the Yankees. White socks and guardians will play game one Saturday afternoon at one o'clock. It will be Hagen Smith, who's an opener for the White socks. He opened game one against the Astros. It sounds like to get some Davis Martin after him.
Parker Mestic will go for Cleveland. They're minus 159 for the game. They are a good favorite for the series as well, Chris. We see Cleveland going by here against the White socks. I like the, I don't, I like the White socks. I just think they're, they're hot. They're, they're hitting well. They're just doing everything right. I like how, I like their attitude down in Houston. I'm a little biased. I have a White socks ticket for the AL with the Saints to win the division that pays very handsomely. But I, I like this Hagen's too. I think I try to probably play some sort of under first five Cleveland team total. Ever since Hagen's has been, you know, you know, he's not a starter. He's an open type of guy. But he's only given up for three, three runs since September 1st. I mean, he's been lights out three school settings against Houston the other day on Tuesday. I know Parker Messick's been, you know, he's good, but you can get to him. He's had, he's, he's given up some runs. He's, he hasn't been as solid as he was in the game of the season. I think the White socks bats are just pretty hot right now.
They have all those ex prospects that the Red Sox traded, you know, to make the sale deal happen. And they're all coming to fruition right now. They look, I'm very, this is awesome. They just have it. There is a bunch of young players all coming to their prime at the right time. And it seems to be working. I wouldn't want to lay a big number on the Gaudiots. Yeah, I'm going to go broke betting against the White socks, apparently, because I do like Messick today. I liked Hunter Brown against him, but I do like him in general. I root for him. But the price is right. First five under maybe a good call because the starting signups. Nothing completely special. But I think the late inning seventh feels low. I know Messick. I really like, but by the way, I saw this. I just wanted to mention, I think this is the first playoff matchup between these two teams. And Jake Taylor was the manager for Cleveland. That's right. And then brought Rick into face Parkman at the end. And Parkman came up and, yeah, we guys tuned up. Feeling good tonight. Yeah. Padres and brewers will play game one in Milwaukee Saturday night at 830. The Miz will go for the brewers and Robbie Ray will go for San Diego.
Chris, I would love to take San Diego in this series. I'd love to see them keep going on. But I've learned my lesson over the last few years. I am not getting in the way of the brewers, especially unless they get to the Dodgers. I'm not getting in the way of the brewers. Well, living most of my year in San Diego, I am very nervous about this Padres team because I need the brewers. I feel like that's right. I feel like I'm from all my friends that keep telling me, oh, we want brewers. We want a Padres Red Sox World Series. I'm like, no, I want Red Sox brewers. Now the Red Sox world. I can still reap fruit for the brewers. I have them on many tickets to make the, just make the world series. They don't have to win it. But I'm scared this Padres team is just clicking on all cylinders. They've won like what, 19 out of 22 games. The crowd is electric. The problem is they have to face the Miz. The other, but what scares me is that the Padres have some decent stats against. It's a short sample size. But hopefully the Miz gets game one. We got to get game one and then we'll deal with the rest from the air. They lose game one. Things are going to get us.
We keep on time really quick. Yeah, I'm just going to go picture problems. I think the Padres are going to be swinging. They're coming in a little, little swag and a little, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, I'm calling the Gregor style just like waltz and in a little, a little confident here. So I like the Miz, nine plus strikeouts. I think he's going to have an extra couple of miles per hour. Nine plus, wow. And before I move on, the chat thankfully, you know, they remember things. And we sometimes were trying to get all this stuff in things fall through the cracks. Doug, the white socks had a day off today. Oh, mama. White socks had a day off today. There you go. And everyone's bringing it up. Are we still on 21 and oh to the over after 22 and oh to the over. There it is. Mark white socks over after the day off. It's a light number. 22 number. Let's go over seven. I think the whites. I think I'll make a crazy prediction. I think the white socks get it themselves. Oh, let's go. Oh, that's it. I like I'm telling you I like I like hey, you can Smith.
I think he's going to shut him down for three to two three innings. They're going to bring in whoever they want to bring in next. And I think the Indians don't hit. I know they're not the Indians. Indians do not. It's. They just don't hit anyone. So I think maybe maybe Cleveland gets one or two runs and white socks get it by themselves. All right. Well, six to either way. Oh, I don't. Whatever it is over sevens on the card for me tomorrow. We get we cannot leave over seven out of this white. I'm going to trend off the day off. And finally, the braves and the Dodgers will play game one tomorrow at four o'clock. So that's a one o'clock local start in Los Angeles. Quick turnaround for the Braves. And they're going to have their pitching the disaster now with the way that they had to get through the Philly series. And the Dodgers they're pitching is not going to be a disaster. They are lined up scuba and game one. Yamamoto and game two. Snell. I mean, Doug, this is. This seems like it's I love the brave offense and I think feel like the brave offense is good enough where they could score some runs against the Dodgers. But I think the Braves are compromised before they even get on the field tomorrow with that game one should go to LA.
But you never know. And there's a layoff for the blue crew and scubals. I as a Dodger fan, I'd rather go snel Yamamoto than scubal. I think snels are ace. When he's healthy. Nice problem to have. Yeah, you got heard after one inning. Like when I think I had like seven best bets in a row or something, we're thinking I had the Dodgers runlining leaves after one. I think Dodgers first five minus a half. I don't want to overthink it. I do think the bullpen is going to be okay. I just don't want to lay one and a half. But I think the bullpen. Should be okay. Because they're moving their bigger arms and we don't have to see Edwin Diaz. I don't think. I don't think I have to see Edwin Diaz. I don't think. Don't you think if there's a chance for the brave to get a game this game because they're the ones who are acting like it's a regular season. They didn't have a game today. The day off travel right into game right into game one where the Dodgers have been sitting around. And a lot of times those bats just go silent when you're not playing. Right. And grant it grant it. And scubals can get rocked. Yeah. I mean, not like I don't get.
I don't get why school bulls pitching game one. That makes no sense to me. I don't know. I don't know. Except except if they have to use him more and they're just going to burn him out because they're not going to recite him type of deal. I don't know. It doesn't make sense why he would start game one. And I just think why was Chris sale in the game to close it out when they get the need and more than anyone. That was. That was something so our behavior. No sense. Is it any batting? Do we know? Like what's. I love how everyone's undecided now. That's like the new. That's the new thing. I'm decided. Everyone. How do we not know who's pitching it? All the game ones on Saturday. The NL will play their game to is on Sunday. The A L gets a day off, which is so huge. You get the day off between one and two and you just allows you to do really good things with your pitching. So the Yankees and raise and the white socks and the guardians will be back for game two when we come back on Monday. That's what we're going to do. For that show at four o'clock East. There it is.
We did a lot and we still have a little bit more to do but we will let Chris. Miserro. Go and continue what could be a about a 28 hour pregame for the Metallica show at the spirit of our night. So start start. Can you go and Chris. For me. I'll give you a full report next week. Let you know what? Full report from the spear from a talent. Chris Miserro. I think Chris with a WNBA segment. Yeah, you know, I thought about it but now that I didn't want you know, he's got to go. It's been so daft. I will tell you one thing. There needs. I just happened to be had it on a little TV last night because I had a future bet on the fever. That was just fine. But they got to do something with these referees. I mean, it's unbelievable. There's nothing to do. That's the problem is the NBA refs don't want any part of it. Just don't have referees that I guess. That's basically what it's basically straight. You do it every while you're like. That's a take file. Because the league is demonstrated in ability to police themselves.
That yes, that would be it. Elbow to the Nostar Ali took a karate chop to the jaw. I thought our face was broken. They didn't even stop the game. Nope. No review. No review. Thank you. See you next week. There's Miserro. We'll see him next week here on betting weekly live. Of course, if you like what you see here, make sure you subscribe to the betting weekly studios channel on YouTube. You can check us out and all of our other shows, including released earlier today. Steve Wiss's betting zoo is back today. Steve Wiss welcomes Kyle Andrew, the big maple into the betting zoo as he shares new career path. That's right. He's got the cats too. You need career path that let him from fashion to the bachelor at Canada. I did not know that fact. Oh, by the way, that he was on the bachelor at Canada. Kyle Andrew was on that job. Two bet rivers production. All of it. And they get the cats out at the end to Kyle Andrew on Steve Wiss's betting zoo.
Go check it out. And also, since we're talking about it. Kyle and the hitman will have all the picks for UFC tomorrow night on fight life. So, can make sure you check that out too. As you get ready for UFC three thirty two tomorrow night. All right, Doug, WMBA Game three, wings and the Valks tonight. Let's go here as we had a game three last night. And now we get ourselves a second one this evening. Minus eight and a half for the Valkyries 160 and a half is the total. Yeah, the wings had a nice rally in the final seconds of regulation at home in game two to stave off elimination. Now, the key here is the total. This total game one, I think, was 156 and a half. And they flown over in regulation. Forget about overtime. They flown over in regulation. Both games one and two. I think it goes over again, but there is a chance the Valks who have the number one rated defense in the entire WMBA. Just locked down on defense and page backers has been so passive. I mean, that's her style. She's very efficient, differential.
Part of what makes her great, but I think they need a little bit more. Initiative here, but I think the Valkyries team total. I'm playing the over in the game, but I think the Valkyries team totals the way to play as. Okay. Smash. Smash job. 84 and a half. Smash job. This wings defense. Dinks. Okay. And the winner of this will play the aces, right? Doug, that's what the winner of this will play the aces. And that means on the other side, game one will be the Liberty and the dream on Sunday. The WMBA semi finals. We'll begin and the dream are three and a half point favorites in game. When now does this extend out further, Doug, do we get five games here at this round? And then the finals is best of seven. Okay. So three and a half best of three, five and seven each round going up. So both teams are much better now than they were doing the regular season Liberty. Miss Jordan, Canada for a little bit. They were waiting on Brianna Jones to come back. She did and then she wasn't. So Angel Reese is established in a center position, even though it's on her natural play. You know, position. And then Canada's fantastic. And they figured out some of the rotation with Helmann and some of these other.
Key role players and then Ryan Howard when she's on, they're almost unbeatable because Alicia Grace fantastic. Every game. So this dream teams for real. Now the Liberty. You know, Phoebish missed a lot of time. She's so important to her team defense. So Brumba plays off these others. And John Quill Jones was heard a little bit recently. She's back. And then Brianna Stewart's kind of tapped into her MVP type form. Now that was just one series. Same for the dream. They played a Mystics team that can't score. So. I think this will be a really good series. I lean dream in game one. But I got to see these matchups and stuff. Atlanta should have a really good crowd on Sunday. How about that game one? When did they play game one for the aces in the winner of tonight's game? Is that Sunday or something? Oh, assuming that. Well, that's a good question. I was going to say Monday, but you're right. It's probably Sunday. I can very quickly effort that. I mean, where we are at this point. It is Sunday, by the way. Sunday is when it is. Both game ones are Sunday. Okay. And you know, and the valve.
Another thing like the valve. These will post it if they win. They got two games left. Like they're both playing Sunday. They're both playing Wednesday. They're both playing Friday. Why wouldn't you do one Monday, one Tuesday, one Wednesday, one. Who does this stuff? I mean, if I get the commissioner out of there already. I know you guys will say who hired Kathy angle Burton. The first place. Right. You got to be kidding me here. All right. There's your WNBA for the weekend. By the way, another great catch in the chat. Because I said the AL has off on Sunday. Doug. That means the white socks will have off Sunday. And it'll be a day off into game two. Oh, my. I stopped by Mark catching that. That because they're in the AL. They have the day off between games. What to do. So we have that. All right. Hockey. I know last night was great in the hockey. Doug. We did. We had unbelievable night. I will tell you now. I don't feel the same way about these games tonight. There wasn't a lot of stuff that jumped out like last. I don't know what it was last night. I don't know what it was. I don't know what it was. I don't know what it was. I don't know what it was. Last night. But a lot of things just jumped out at me. I'll give you a few things that at least catch my eye. Detroit is playing their first game of the season tonight.
The red wings have not played a game yet in the regular season. And the Rangers are playing their third game. Of the regular season in Detroit tonight against the red wings. Now they aren't a back to back. They beat the lightning at home last night. Of course, we had the goalie goal from Schusterket. And we had the Rangers on the money line. Should we look at anything? I mean, I don't know. I guess we don't have the data for something like this. But like a team's plate. This is their third game. And the red wings haven't played yet. That's kind of weird to have that tonight. I mean, I guess it makes sense. You have TV games and profile. High profile teams and all that. But it'll work itself out. Obviously, it will. So I don't know where I would lean in that. I will say. You wanted the revenge. I'm not going to be a little bit more. I'm not going to be a little bit more. And I want to say you wanted the revenge spot with the penguins and the flyers the other night. Remember the nights. Not the deluxe out! of the playoffs last year in the second round.
And they're playing the first week here. Ducks in Vegas against the Knights. Do you want to try the revenge angle with the docs? After losing to the nights. That's the only side I would play, though. But I don't think its strong enough. I don't think it is either. I don't have it there. I don't have it there. The Blues and the Stars are both playing their first game of the season. That's on TNT at nine o'clock tonight. You've got Boston in the Jets tonight, the Capitals in the Hurricanes. I don't really love anything tonight like last night. I'll just say that now. I don't really love anything in hockey this evening. I will say, I think this is something to keep an eye on for the weekend, though. There's one game I think we look at in the weekend. That Black Hawk team was pretty bad against both Vegas and Utah. And they aren't even going home yet, Doug. They're flying them across the country from the Utah altitude to play Buffalo in Buffalo tomorrow night. And that's what the Sabers coming off. This is the Saber home opener.
They played in Columbus. I mean, it's a big price. It's minus two twenty five, but I think it's like Utah. It's something where we do buckline Buffalo first period, like all sorts of stuff. So I think we attack the Black Hawk one more time tomorrow night in hockey. We get the chance. We remember. I like those spots. That's a good example. We had great spots last night. Let's not press. Don't force it. Yeah. You know of it. It has to meet a threshold just because it's your favorite play today. It doesn't mean it's equal to the favorite play yesterday. Right. Is there anything you would like to tell us about UFC 332? Not really. It's a point. It's a tough read. The price is right. But I think the value is on the favorite a little bit. Nothing special. Silver and Kong. Is that who we have going for a season? Women's. Yeah, vacated flyweight title. Shift Chanko gave it up. So we will have the winner gets the bill. As I mentioned, betting weekly fight life. Kyle Andrew and Paul Hughes, Hitman, preview the main card in Salt Lake City. Go and check that out. That is a must.
If you are going to bet on the fights, go and watch Kyle and the Hitman and get all yourself all tuned up for all these plays for the weekend. All right. We made it, Doug. We made it to the daily double. I know. We made it, baby. Let's go. The best bets of the daily double. For Friday night, we've had two this week. We had one last night. Let's get another one here. I'm going to college football. As like I said, I don't really love the hockey this evening. I think that this Virginia Tech pick game is going to be tight. I don't think it's going to be a track meet despite the fact that both teams have scored a lot of points against some minnows. I think both teams being four and a half, I think Darduzzi and James Franklin are going to kind of change things up. Their defenses are going to play better. Take a little air out of the ball, tight game. Both teams may be getting the low 20s. I'm going under 54 and a half. Pit and Brought Tech tonight in Blacksburg going for a little blue collar game. All right. Lane Stadium will be rocking, but you're going to take Narduzzi and company.
I think that's the only side I would play too. I'm not the only under. You're under, but I would take the I would take the Panthers, but I like the under two. So you're going under and I'm going over with a team total. The Valcares of Golden State. You know, in the NBA, game sevens all go under. That's not the case. I think when these two teams, even when they meet in a winner-go-home game three, the team total for me over 83 and a half, I think they should be able to get a layup line and open threes all game. Now, there's a chance they're tight, but I think they play loose. They dominated game one. I think game two slipped through their fingers. I think we'll see some offense. Will they win? Maybe, probably, but I'd rather just bank on them to score points. All right. So for tonight, we have got the Valcares team total over 83 and a half against the wings. Pit and Vot Tech in college football under 54 and a half. The best bets, the daily double plus 250 at Bet Rivers this evening. Let's go. Two in a row. Let's finish strong.
Two in a row. Doug, great job. You two, my friend. We had a little long day. We had a sarrow today. We ran a little long on a Friday. That's all right. We were packed. We had a lot of sports going on. We're back Monday, 4 p.m. East, 1 p.m. Pacific. We have Saints Falcons Monday night football on Monday. We'll go through everything that happened over the weekend. We will have those game twos in the A.L., Yankees Rays and Guardians White Sox. We play in game twos on Monday. Everything else, there'll be some hockey, etc., etc., etc., great job by Chris Bacero today. Subscribe to the Betting Weekly Studio channel on YouTube, my carver, Doug Couserian, Betting Weekly Live.
