NFL Week 1 Overreactions: True or False and Fantasy Football Panic Meter

2:02The order out. Ooh, back-baby striped sports to free throws because they're very fish. It's a soupless toss and it felt week one pretty much in the books, my friend. It was a really fun explosive NFL Sunday. There were a lot of games, high octane games, impressive games. Sometimes the offense started a little slower. We saw that with the pads. The sea ox started to hurt the Rams. And I felt that we were going to see more of the same on Sunday, but I felt really impressed by a lot of these offenses. That New Orleans team came rip-borne back. Buffalo put up a boatload of points on the road against what's supposed to be the best defense in the NFL. Obviously, the bearer scored the most points in the last, the type of bravens for the most points this century. In a week one, opening game with 59 running all over the bears. I honestly think the Jaguars could have beat the Browns worse if they really wanted to. Yeah. And you know what? Offense I was really impressed with. Let's see if you could guess.

3:04Guess. The New York Giants. The New York football Giants. I was. That's obviously a very good guess, but one more offense that I was like, you know what? I had somewhat high hopes for this offense, not like being a total barn burner, but I felt like there was a world in which they could be sneaky good. That's your hint. Carolina Panthers. Now they actually, they're offensive. I mean, we believed in the New York Giants offense coming into things. I don't necessarily know. Close to the Giants. Close to the Giants. Like, similar vibes to the Giants. Yeah, the Giants also played the Titans. There's a lot. There's a lot wrong there of the teams. You mean the other team that I believed in the offense in? Yeah, you believed in them for sure. The Vegas Raiders. He's a good coach, man. Granted, look, they play the dolphins, but like, cousins, not they don't have their best pass catcher on the field right now. No, but like, I don't know. They they're offensive line was so much better.

4:05Gentib is so much better. Like this team was legitimately really good. And you know what honestly, the most impressive part again, they played the dolphins short, but the most impressive part about this Vegas team I felt was the defense. Like the limited H&N. He didn't know damage against them. That's that's where I say, okay, we got to we got to watch against other teams because, yes, but they they were getting contributions from guys all across the defensive side of the football, including training stokes, who are the guy that we loved coming out of the draft at a pick. That was nice. He were red the first time. Why does he stokes? Oh, Eric Stokes. He's on the team too. It's a corner. Yeah, yes. He had a pick. Quiddy Payne. At Arizona. Yeah, Quiddy Payne. Nice. He showed up. Yeah. Kobe Dean. Crosby was everywhere. I don't know, man. I mean, they they found sign. They spent on competency on the defensive side of the football and on the interior of the offensive line. Yeah. And they already had a top 10 picked running back.

5:05Yeah. A first round pick tied in who wasn't even out there. Another tight end who they just extended who was an early second round pick, basically a French first rounder. Right. And Michael Mayer, who had a couple of plays, obviously a really good blocker, at least in the run game, and was two years ago, not so much last year. They have a quarterback who is two years removed now, no, three years removed now from his Achilles injury. And we know what he looked like in Atlanta last year, two years removed from the injury. A lot better than his first year coming off the injury. And a guy that just knows how to take care of the football, but on the same token, always seems to throw like one interception where I'm like, Kirk, you're so accurate and you're such a solid QB. But then there's just like one one. You know that scratcher. Yeah. But I think that well, we can get into some of these these questions and some segments that you have. I mean, this is why I felt so high from a fantasy perspective on action, Gen T coming into the into this season. And he ends up being fully healthy by week one, which curved all of my doubts.

6:07Think goodness, I had an opportunity where I drafted really late. Because by the time that news had come out, I was like, okay, I'm back. I'm back in on Gen T and I was able to get him. And I'm excited to watch in this entire season. This is going to be a tough team to knock off week and week out. To me, the giants and the Raiders, like, I don't know how good those teams are going to be. But they showed their competency in week one and even more so with the giants than the Raiders. Because I think they've got talent on both sides of the ball. Really, I talked about it in the five takeaways video. My only concern for them is their defensive backfield. And I even think there's going to be some games where that that unit looks pretty good, right? They're facing pickings and lamb and that press god who knows exactly what he's doing every time he drops back knew that they were dealing with a wofful offensive line without Tyler Smith. And he got the ball quick. It's one of those things where it's like, are these phases of these teams working

7:09to amplify their best strength? And I think the problem with the giant's defense is their best strength is their pass rush. And if their corners can't at least limit other opposing playmakers, then like burns and Carter can't get to get to the quarterback, right? And you saw that like that. When we got knocked down twice, no sacks from an ailing offensive line, again, getting the ball quick, kind of like that Rogers mentality. Although the interesting thing about the Pittsburgh Steelers game was that no James Pierce, right? No Walker for the Falcons. I thought Rogers actually had a lot of time and he looked pretty darn good in that game. And there were some fun moments for the Steelers who were a team that we didn't have in the playoffs, but a team that we weren't low on because we trust McCarthy. We really trust that defense. TJ Watt welcome back. Love watching you play football. Yeah, I mean, there's a couple teams that get a small incomplete because who they played and you know, and on the Falcon side, like, what was see it again?

8:09I want to say let's see with a real quarterback, but like, two and Michael Pennicks, like, I don't necessarily know what we're going to get with them. But like the Cooper Rush experience didn't really, doesn't really answer a lot of questions. And he might be the most level quarterback on their entire roster. Yeah, they're, they're, they're, they're, they're going to start four quarterbacks this year. Do you want to, do you want to, you know, put your cards in on the team that's probably going to start four quarterbacks across the entire season? No, we knew they would suck that. Yeah, they would suck. All right, I have to do a little hat switch there. I got a fixed spin this time. A little crooked, I just noticed my screen. But let's, let's get to, let's get to the real breakdown because we could jam back up all day every day. And that's what we're going to do, my friend. So we do our true or false segment toss, but in this one, I'm just going to throw a bunch of true or false as your way. And then you're going to give me a quick little answer, true or false. Feel free to explain as always on each of them, all right?

9:10Okay. Yeah. Sure false NFL week one over reactions edition, my friend. Sure false, the New York football giants are a playoff team. Yeah, that's false. It's false. They had an unbelievable home win, you know, what, 913, right, two days, after 911, everybody's wearing the NYFD NYPD hats. The crowd was ready to watch this team. They were excited to watch this team in the new John Harbaugh era for the New York football giants as he calls them, dart under center, new offensive coordinators in there. Like everything worked incredibly well. They took down their division rival. They still have a really tough schedule. They still, you know, have to go play the Rams next week. Let's see what they look like. The Rams obviously aren't going to be happy about going down oh one against their division rivals.

10:15So I'm not going to get ahead of myself. The New York Giants were a team that I had winning eight games this season. I think that's certainly in the cards. If Jackson Dart maintains at this level, this offensive line, bullies opposing, you know, defensive fronts like they were able to against the Cowboys who have a really solid interior defensive line. Like I think if you're a Giants fan, you got to feel for the first time in a long time, you have a competent football team that weekend, week out is actually going to show up. And we could have talked ourselves into that week one for the last four years, but by the time we got to week eight, that was not the case, right? So it is false, but there's real hope in New York for this to be a good football team going forward. They also, let's just be honest, they're still lacking in the defensive backfield. And they still have a bunch of young players who are finding their footing like Abdul Carter, I think is going to take a huge jump this year, but we still have to see him do it.

11:16Arvel Reese, like he was involved on some tackles last night, but he also got burned on that one play where Javante leaked out on that wheeler out or whatever you want to call it on the left side and scored the touchdown, right? So they're a young team, Colden Hood, right? Like he got beat by CD-Lam on the side, or it was at Ryan Florenoi on the side line, and then Ajavane Hall and had that, you know, that unnecessary roughness. So young players still all across this team, and CC Malino obviously was probably the shining bright spot of all the rookies on their team. I don't know how much better he has to get. Yeah, but yeah, still a young team, year two, quarterback, new system, like let's get really excited about what they put on the field. Sunday night football, while everyone was watching, but I think this team is also going to take their licks too. But so it's false, but I feel great about this giant steam. Okay. True or false, the Bears are the best offense in the NFL.

12:16I mean, after week one, it's hard to contend that. Colston loved them didn't even catch a pass. If they're able to run the football that well, I mean, the right side of this offensive line, Caleb Williams, scampering whenever he needs to, and basically being able to make every single throw. The guy that was drafted, one, one, for a reason, and now is working with one of the best offensive minds in football. Yeah, I'll say, I'm willing to buy into this overreaction and say true. I mean, on the road, in Carolina, which is a tough place to play, the Panthers under Canales and with Bryce Young, have been really solid at home. They spent a lot of capital on their defensive side of the ball, and they couldn't stop the Chicago Bears whatsoever in this game. So I'll say true for now. I mean, who are our other teams, right? Like, I think we feel kind of interested about Ben Johnson's, his little mentee, Declan Doyle, and in Baltimore, and what he can do with Lamar

13:20Jackson, it looks excellent. Yeah, we're going to get into the Colton in a second. They rip forward through Lucas Oil Stadium. And then I'll, and then I'd be remiss if I didn't mention the Buffalo Bills who put up 30 plus points on the Texans in Houston. And Joe Brady is no longer their OC and now their head coach. And I think with that comes the territory of, we don't mind showing you how damn good we are at offense every single time we play. And to me, you know how I feel, Josh Allen's best quarterback in football right now, until we see four weeks patch mhums coming back from the lower leg injury. Like, I don't really think that's crazy, especially with their offensive line, especially with how good James Cook is, DJ Moore making an impact from the jump. You know, he came over from the Bears. So I'll say true, but the Bills, the Ravens, probably missing a couple of other teams that are in there. I mean, the Bengals still were able to be pretty awesome on offense. And they didn't even you have to use Higgins or Jamar Chase. So there's other teams in the mix. But yeah, right now, score 59 points, you got it. You got it.

14:25You got the belt. But true or false, the Titans will be true or false. The Titans will be picking a new quarterback in the 2027 NFL draft. False. Come on. Come on. Like, let's, it's one game. And we thought the Jets were going to win this game. And he didn't look good, but I it was more of a team failure than I thought it was a failure of cam ward. Certain moments where he shined his improvisational ability, as a player, he didn't have a read across middle of the field. It looked like he was about to step up in the pocket and run one. And then all of a sudden, he like flicks one to the sideline for a check down. And I was like, how did he see that? You know, and it was a bad game. They got beat. They were never going to win this football game. At least through the middle of the second quarter. They're not picking quarter back in 2027. It's defensive minded head coach. First time OC with Brian Dave, you know, coaching cam ward, who he was really excited about, you know, being paired with. So

15:26you took your swing. You took cam ward. You cannot give up on him this early. And we like early to have this conversation, obviously, because it's the first game in the season. But now, false, so false. There's no way they're picking a new quarterback in 2027. There's too many other talented players in that class where let's go get, let's go get Goosby, right? Let's go get a left tackle for the future. Let's go get Jeremiah Smith and Param with car and ultate. If we end up being one of these teams, it's picking with the top four pick. Let's trade back with a team that really wants a quarterback, depending on how these quarterback shake out in college. And just reap the benefit of a massive, you know, picks package that we can spend in a lot of different places. Let's upgrade the defense. Let's upgrade the offensive line. Let's upgrade the skill position players. Like, no, no. Sure, false Shane Steikin will be, oh, tongue to listen today. Sure, false Shane Steikin will be the first head coach fired this season.

16:27If there wasn't such a seemingly like good chemistry and camaraderie with this ownership in front office group, including Steikin and Ballard and, um, Ursa Gordon, like, I would say true. And it and the answer probably should be true. But this team's defense isn't good enough right now. And I still were able to run the football effectively. Jones's first game back from the Achilles injury. How good is Daniel Jones anyway, right? I'm going to say false. He just feels protected. And I don't necessarily know if that's right.

17:29But I think he is. Sure, false Trevor Lawrence will cement himself as a top five quarterback by years. Okay, well, let's, let's go down the list real quick. Is he better than Lamar Jackson now? Is he better than Josh Allen? Is he better than Matthew Stafford? Is he better than what I expect Patrick Mahomes to look like when he comes back from the injury? No, that's four guys. Do I think that the Cincinnati Bengals with what seems to be an improved defense? The Joe Burrow on the opposite side is all the sudden going to massively flop. And we're going to feel like he's actually not a top five top six quarterback. He's more like a top 12 quarterback. No, I mean, how do we get that? How do we get there with Joe Burrow? So at that point, then Joe Burrow's five, if you want to tell me that Trevor Lawrence and Liam Cohn in that marriage, not passing attack is knocking on the door. And he's like six or seven or eight. Sure. Top five. No, false. Sure, false. The Patriots, Packers and Chargers will all miss the playoffs this

18:38season. Well, you know me, Josh, I had the Patriots and the Packers missing the playoffs anyway. So if the Chargers do what they did week one, and they can't figure things out with this incredible offensive minded, you know, OC, this head coach that, you know, brought a winning culture to Michigan, the tackles healthy, like, and Justin Herbert engaged and fully healthy, engaged, like not in football necessarily, but off the field, hopefully on the field as well. I think he is. I think those are just fun jokes. But yeah, I mean, if they do what they did against Arizona, that doesn't look like a playoff team. I thought that the Patriots were going to be the second team in the AFC East, but just outside looking in in the AFC. And then that NFC North is so darn tough. And I had the Packers finishing last. And they flopped that game against a backup quarter back in Carson Wentz. I get it. It was on the road. But the hubris of Matt LaFour, man, like,

19:38you kick the field goal. You've got 25 points. Then I don't care if they score a touchdown. You guys are tied at that point if they go for the X, if they go for two. Like, he just always seems to feel like he knows better. And he definitely didn't in that game. And then Bryan Flores was like, watch this. So yeah, true, true. Very easily, all three of those teams can miss the playoffs. And I'm, did you want, did you watch my breakdown of them? Not to put you on the spot, but did you watch what I watched a little bit of it? Yeah, I watched the game, though, too, I watched every stand. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. No, no, no, I just I I'm telling you, I'm telling you, I like, my point is so many games were going on. I was like, I want to watch this game because I'm watching this thing. Crumbly. If it felt the same way as I know The game got further away from the Texas Longhorns on your hat after Ryan Day made that mistake. But when they were up 10 points and they went for it on like fourth and one and a half and they didn't get it and we stopped them and I was like,

20:38You're on the road. You're you're seemingly better than this team. You just got two really ridiculously really good. Opportunity things happen to you with the with the brown fumble and then the crazy camp Coleman. I was like, Just take the points man. The chip. It's a chip shot. So and not and and then you look at on the floor side. Trace Mac hit the field goal. It's not that he didn't hit the field goal. The field goal went through the uprights. You had the points on the board and you say, Fourth and six to fourth and one all take my chances. Wait, we don't have Josh Jacobs. Our massive running back that's great between the tackles. I don't care. I'm going to cube you sneak with Jordan love. Like, come on. We watched this team. Give up 29 on answer points to a backup quarterback against the divisional opponents. Let me ask you this. Prior to this game, when was the last time you watched the grieve packers play football? In the playoffs. And what did they do? They blew a massive lead against the Chicago Bears against the divisional opponent.

21:45Yeah. At a certain point. Writing's on the wall. Sorry. Sure false. Let's go a little more positive though. Sure false. TJ watt is a top five DPO Y candidate this year. True. TJ watt is healthy and he's on the field. He's always a top five DPO Y candidate. This is the easiest one on the list so far. Okay. Sorry. Let's go a little more challenging. Hey, good for him. First time on a an interception actually taking it to the house. And I, and he fell down too. He popped back up and he was like, oh, I keep running cool. Got in the end zone. Great play. Excellent play. True or false? Jameer Gibbs sets the single season yards from Scrimmage record with more than 25 more than 2500 and nine yards breaking the record from our dear friend, Chris Johnson. False. No, he's not going to do it.

22:46Not only they, I mean, they're going to give him a ton of work clearly. And thank goodness. I think this might be the first time I've ever had Jameer Gibbs and fantasy football. I'm so excited. Marjacks. And I know it's not like the same saying but like, no, it is. I mean, yeah, yeah. It's awesome. Yeah, it wasn't awesome last year. I'll tell you about. I'll tell you that much. But it's terrible actually. Terrible having him last year. He was a massive. He was such a disappointment. One of the biggest disappointments in all fantasy football. No, I don't believe I think this is false. I think he'll stack up a ton of all purpose yards. But look, man, he's already being outpaced by a guy named Bajan Robinson who had 90 receiving yards in 10 receptions. And I don't know who the quarterback's going to be. And I think that's drastically going to impact the production of Drake London and Kyle pits. But I'll tell you what, it doesn't matter who the quarterback is. They're going to continue to check the ball down to be genre.

23:47Robinson, they're going to continue to give him the football. So I just look out for him going after that record as well. What else do the Falcons really have? You know, that's an interesting question. This one was a little game script. Obviously played a massive factor in this one. Like the Saints were kind of left for dead. And then they weren't. And then they all the sudden resuscitated themselves. And the passing attack came back. And this game goes to overtime. Right. So more opportunities for Gibbs to stack up yards receptions, etc. But the real thing, the real kicker for me, Josh is he didn't do enough in the passing game. And he doesn't necessarily have to do it that much in the passing game. When you have Almond Ross St. Brown, you have James and Williams. And the Tampa Porter is going to come back from injury. Like, they've just got a lot of weapons. They always have on this line's offense. Okay. Let's keep it in the running backs. True or false Derek Henry becomes the first running back ever to run for 2000 yards twice, cementing himself as the goat running back.

24:54Even if he does it, you know that there are some people that are still not going to call him the goat running back. I think this is false. And I think it's the same precedent that they had last year when they were determining how, how many snaps, how many touches they gave Derek Henry. After one week, if you're the Baltimore Ravens, you're looking at yourself in the mirror and you're saying, we are a super bowl contender. We need Derek Henry fresh ready to go for the playoffs. I don't think that necessarily means that, you know, weekend, week out, he's on some some sort of snap count. But it might mean that if you're up, you know, 14 points, if you're up to three scores on a team, like, you don't have to run Derek Henry through the, you know, second half of the fourth quarter. And I think that might just take away from him getting to 2k. And he probably ends up between 1500 and 1800. Like I really think that's on the table, which would be a tremendous year. Which would be, you know, part for the course for Derek Henry. And at this age, it's so ridiculous.

25:55It's just a joy to watch him run honestly. But I don't think he's going to get to 2k. Okay. And lastly, true or false, neither of the jets nor the Raiders, taking the top 5 of the 2027 NFL draft. Well, no, no, like, I'm just, I'm just pulling up. Basically, like, are they going to be to the both of them are going to, are they both going to be bottom five teams is the question. Both have to be. Yeah, they're picking the top five, both at the bottom five teams. So do you think they're both the better than false? I think this is false. I think one of these teams will not be picking the top five. I don't know which one.

26:55Wait, well, you think one of the, sorry, sorry, sorry. I think this is false. I believe one of these teams will be picking in the top five. And I believe one of these teams will be picking just outside of the top five between 6 and 10. Now probably probably the Raiders, the top five. What the cult stink the jets technically picking the top five as well. I'm talking about, yeah, from their own picks. I still do think that the jets. We'll see. I mean, I still think the jets are going to be picking in the top five. Because I believe the dolphins are worst team. The NFL. So I. They are for sure horrible. And I think that the Titans are right there too. Like I think I suck. Yeah. Titan. Like the Falcons. Like the Falcons. I think I had the same record as the Titans, but the Falcons don't have a quarter rack. I think we're going to start adding. We could do a psychometer.

27:57Where we have back, I feel like that's just going to get redundant. I think we should do like a weekly hot seat. I was starting to concoct it. It's too early for week one. But starting next week, we bring like Al Dabber buddy on. I think we could do a hot seat ranking. Some like that. What did you do. I started to figure out why you do rehab. You providers have hangout and when you are in your club, You could be a festival several times. I mean, you. Everybody you get in inspired with like the spice level thing. Yeah. How many spicy level things and I also saw our friends it's not back because Casey and Jack had a bet. L Choi had to eat the. Ghost Pepper Wings from the fire call a challenge from apart. and Josh White's been eight, 25, no problem. Like, like it was nothing. 28:58It's a weird order for pluckers. Is it? First time at pluckers, you're not getting wings, like any kind of wings. Maybe, maybe Tim's been before. Not a burger's a weird order. Yeah, weird order. But that thought that was funny. Let's keep it going. Couple more NFL than France football than MLB. Sports scantron, TAS. Which of these 2025 NFL playoff teams is most likely to miss the playoffs in 2026. I'm gonna give you some options, process of elimination. And you'll tell me which team you feel is the one that'll miss the playoffs. Option A, the Pittsburgh Steelers. Option B, my New England Patriots. Option C, the Los Angeles Chargers of Madison Beer. Option D, the Green Bay Packers. Option E, the Houston Texans. All right, I'll go process of elimination to figure out what the correct answer is for me. It's ironic because four of these teams,

29:58when we did our preseason previews, I did not have his playoffs teams and the one team that I did laid an absolute egg in week one. So all the teams that I feel worst about after watching them play one week of football, it's the Chargers, because the Pats lost, but they lose to the reigning champs, the Seattle Seahawks, whatever, although AJ Brown does go down. The packers lose in horrific fashion. The Texans I expected to lose against the Buffalo Bills. And then the Steelers win. And I thought they were gonna beat the Falcons. And I don't think the Falcons are that great. So I don't think they get a ton of extra points, extra brownie points, bonus points. Okay, so process of elimination for these teams. I think that I'm going most likely to miss the playoffs. I'll knock off the Texans first,

31:00because I think that with that defense, how well they can play, even though they didn't against the Buffalo Bills, even, but in moments like Lassler comes up with a huge tackle and Stroud looked competent. He looked good. David Montgomery was an unbelievable addition. And for good reason when they get to the red zone, they have a real chance to score six every single time because of that guy. So I'll knock off the Texans. I'll knock off the Patriots, because I have faith in y'all's defense. I'm not knocking you too far because of who you played in week one, or any chance to see Adel Seehawks. I trust this coaching staff. I trust this system. I believe in Drake May. I really do. And AJ Brown being hurt is going to be a tremendous challenge. But I think Trevi on Henderson coming back

32:01is going to open up another Swiss Army knife on the offensive side of the ball for them to utilize. So I'll cross off the paths. And the reason I don't have the going to the playoffs, but it's by one game. And if one game shakes the other way for them, and I had them losing the Seehawks week one, then they're right there and they're in the playoffs. I still think the chargers should be able to make the playoffs. I got to be completely honest. I'm going to cross them off. I'm not going to over-react off of week one. The Raiders beat the Pax last year. The Pats made the Super Bowl, not saying the chargers have a Super Bowl run in them. There's so many things I don't trust about this team. But if you look at how many wins Jim Harbaugh has all but guaranteed for the chargers since he's been the head coach there, I still feel comfortable crossing them off. Man, this is tough because these two divisions, these two Norths are so challenging.

33:02And that's what's really keeping me from easily crossing off the Steelers. But I will cross off the Steelers. We made a video who are going to be the top three most disappointing teams in the NFL and we both had the Green Bay Packers on that list. I had the Green Bay Packers finishing seven and 10. When Josh Jacobs went down, a part of me, and I think I even messaged you about this, was Jordan Love might, he might get unleashed here. We might see the best version of Jordan Love that we've seen. And I'll tell you what, through two and a half quarters, it looked like that. That's awesome. He looked unbelievable. Golden was getting involved. Watson had the two touchdowns. They looked unstoppable. Tucker Kraft's not even 100% yet. Eddry Cooper had like two, one sack and a TFL. He looked sick. He was your breakout player. He's been everybody's been saying

34:03he's going to be their breakout player for the longest time. But the fact of the matter is, I don't trust LaFloor in these close games. The hubris that he demonstrated, not accepting the fact that they already had three points on the board and proceeding with their business gave a momentum to a home Vikings team to come back and beat them bad in the remainder of the second half. I don't trust LaFloor right now. I do trust Jordan Love. They have a really difficult division that they're playing in. The Bears only look better. The Lions won a gritty over time game and their offense is not to be trifled with. And in the first half against the Saints, they replicated what they did, their defense in the first half. They do that for a full game. That's a solid defense. They actually were a little bit better defensively than people realize. Brian Branch eventually will come back, right? Like he should. He should be coming back, right? At a certain point. I think the Steelers with their defense competency on the offensive line.

35:04Mike McCarthy, Rogers actually really nice. No, it was against the Falcons. But like crazy shit happens in the AFC North, man. As good as the Ravens looked and as good as the Bengals looked, crazy things could happen to those teams because that happened sometimes. I'll tell you what, like the Vikings can win with Carson Wentz. I don't know, man, where does this Packers team find the wins in division for them to be a playoff team? I'm comfortable saying that they are most likely to miss the playoffs. I'm picking D the Green Bay Packers. I'm, we've already kind of planted our flag this season that we don't think they've got it. And Mike Parsons doesn't come back until week five. What does he look like when he comes back? When does Josh Jacobs come back? Does Josh Jacobs play? Does Marshall Lloyd, everybody's favorite pick with the, okay, Josh Jacobs is on the commissioner's list. Marshall Lloyd, like I drafted him in one league.

36:06Chris Brooks almost outcarried him, almost outtouched him. He might have outtouched him. So Marshall Lloyd and more. At a certain point in the game, Chris was like, Chris Brooks was a more effective runner. I mean, they both were not good. Exactly. What's not like, who, what's not like spend any more air time on it than we have to? Marshall Lloyd was like four for nine at one point. Like something like that. All right, before we get into fantasy, you have one four to me. Yeah, I'll just also say, I think they might miss the playoffs, but I think I might end up feeling better about Jordan Love by the end of this year. Then I, like I don't blame Jordan, I don't think this game was Jordan Love's fault. Hmm. What broke after they let the Vikings get back in this thing or take the lead? The offensive line let him down after that. Because then the Vikings were throwing out these creative, you know, the blitzes with Flores and he got after him and it just, it went south. 37:07you hang up first. What the, what the fuck was that call in the Saints Lions game? Bizarre. And a lot of groups text call about that. That was like a game. It changed it changed the game. Yeah, it's a home. I know they end up coming back in it, but like, I mean, look, I, I, I, I, I, that art, my, my, that was probably the most my breath was held. That was looking around the league. And that was the most hour, because I was like, trying to like again, so early, right? And I'm trying to see where we're planning. That's one where he, what's the, was that one where he slipped in? That was impressive. That was like, he's little right? 41:13Good as the Steelers were. Joey Porter Jr. contract disputes. Banged up. He didn't play because the contract disputes is, be honest. Who hangs up first in this NFL mega trade, Josh. The New York football giants, the one and oh, New York football giants. Get Joey Porter Jr. And in return, the Pittsburgh Steelers get a 2028 first round pick. And a 2027 fifth round pick who hangs up first. Well, here's my both teams do the deal before we say who hangs up. The Giants defensive backfield, I think, was getting more flacked and it needed to. I still don't think it's a strong suit. And I think it's going to be the thing that potentially holds them back from being in, you know, right now they're probably an eight nine win team, but with a really, really good cornerback like Joey Porter Jr. They can maybe be a 10 win team dare. I say 11 one team that offense looked really good. They have a good offensive line, much improved. Now we know at that right guard spot and two really good booking tackles.

42:14The card was a beast likely was a beast. The neighbors only get healthier. Obviously Jackson Dord. So offensively front seven like this team of ton defensive backfield. Probably their biggest Achilles heel. You're not giving up a 2027 first round pick. So you have that 2027 first in a stock class that you can now manipulate around the board. If you want to acquire more picks and stuff like that. So I think package wise. I'm in on it with the Giants. You have a quarterback on a rookie deal. This is kind of the point in time where you push your chips in a little bit. And you show that you can be at the Dallas Cowboys. You everyone peg is a super ball favorite. You show that you could keep the ball at a duck press caught hands, right? They barely had any time in the second half of the play football. So I think I'm all for it from the New York Giants. Well, you don't necessarily want to rush things in the harbor. Or it's your one. You do have that quarterback on a rookie deal. So I don't mind pushing your chips in if you're not giving up a 2027 first. From the stealer side. It's not the 2027 first, but you are getting your first round pick, which is what you want for joy poor junior in 2028. So if you are that French playoff team, playoff team.

43:17You want to move up for quarterback. Well, now you have multiple picks to do so. So I think long term that helps you out. I also think if I'm the Steelers, I'm done with the circus. For the last decade, it has been a circus in Pittsburgh. We have living on Bell. We dealt with that. We had a B. We dealt with that. It has been a circus in Pittsburgh. That time is done. We are not doing that anymore. I'm not playing that I'm like Tom. I'm saying with the guys there, they're great players, but there was a circus in Pittsburgh. For a few years. It is over. I'm not dealing with that. You want to get paid. You're not going to like the contract. We're offering you fun. We will take that first round pick. We will win football games because we have great depth in the front seven. We have solid offensive line. We're going to run the football. And Aaron Rogers can still sling it well enough that we can compete. We'll take that first round pick. So I really think it's a viable deal for both teams. Ultimately, if a team were to hang up, I guess it'd be Pittsburgh because they're just going to make him play on that. You know, without the contract extension. So it's going to be his choice. Either you play football or you don't.

44:18And I think ultimately Joey Porter Jr will fold and come playing compete. Try to earn that money and help this team win. But I don't think it's a bad deal for them. And I think they should wash their hands of this Joey Porter Jr. Saga move on. Take the first. And I think the Giants. It's risky because you have to pay him. But he's a really good cornerback man when he's on the field. I really like him a ton. And if Colton Hood progresses. And if Newsom's healthy and banks is healthy in the other cornerbacks, you know, three, four. With Colton Hood as it continues to progress, I think this team can be a playoff team. So I think both teams should do it. If anyone were to hang up, it'd be Pittsburgh. Okay. Thanks. Yeah. Well, fantasy action. Well, fantasy action. Want to close after that. I would have loved to see him get more garbage time looks. He was really limited in that capacity. But I think this is his floor. I don't know if he's going to be an RV top five. RV in fantasy necessarily that can be a cost for concern for some people in this team. Stinks. But I still think he's going to get his touches. He's an explosive play way to happen. So for now I'm relaxed and debonn H.

46:18Relaxed or panicked. Quinshaw and judgekins who had seven total points in full point ppr. Panicked. Panicked man. I this team stinks. This offense is in no man's land once again. And he was somewhat utilized in the passing game. Although rocket Sanders got passing work, which was kind of interesting to watch. In terms of running backs, caching the ball. I don't trust this offense as far as I can throw him. And I think they're consistently going to be in a negative game scripts on panic on one. Relaxed or panicked. Omari and Hampton. I'm relaxed. The town is still there for me. I know he had that fumble, but he also scored. One thing I am keyed in on. No catches. That's kind of an issue for me because I thought he'd utilize in the passing game. So monitoring that. But for now I'm relaxed and I'm already in. Relaxed or panicked Drake London. Oh man. For where you drafted him and how things looked.

47:21Not great with four targets. But for now, I am going to say relaxed until I see. I am relaxed. I would say it's a profound comment. Real quarterback comment. It might not look much better. Until I see two or Michael Koenig's junior under center. Then I'll start hitting the panic button. But it was Kupa Rosh again to get Pittsburgh Steelers defense. So I'll say relax for Drake London for now. Okay. How about the only quarterback on this list? Drake may. the past catchers that he has at his disposal don't give me a lot of faith for him being quarterback three four for where you hook him in fantasy football. So I'm a little panic in that capacity for my guy Drake May. I think this team will bounce back, but I think if they're going to have to get creative on offense to win football games and run the football more so and rely on that run game. I think he'll be fine. I don't think he's going to be a latent fantasy

48:22until AJ Brown comes back. I'm pan. Relaxed or panic Terry McClaurin. I'm relaxed. It's a really tough defensive backfields in Philadelphia. Wollin and Konyon Mitchell kind of had their way with him. I think his target share is going to tick up. I think he's going to get the ball. There are now mouths to feed with Stefan Diggs and Antonio Williams got you love looking good, but I think scary Terry's still going to get the ball. So I'm relaxed with scary Terry. Okay. Relaxed or panicked Roma Dunes. I'm a little panicked in the sense that I don't know if he's going to be a viable starter weekend and week out. I think he'll have some good games, but I think he's going to be one of those boomer bus players. I do think Luther Berg's the wide receiver one. I don't know if Cliff Raymond's going to do what he did every Sunday, right? But I'm not sure where Roma Dunes is on the pecking order in terms of offensive playmakers. Now he's a really good blocking wide

49:25receivers for that helps once they get the play action going if they're run games going to be that strong. But in terms of him being a weekend week out starter, I'm a little panic, but I love the player. I love the guys. Awesome. Relaxed or panicked Marvin Harrison Jr. Panicked. I don't know where he is on the pecking order quite frankly. He's not even the wide receiver one. And then if you throw in Tramick, Brody's not the askatcher too. So panicked and Marvin Harrison Jr. Frequent flyer miles on this list for him. Relaxed or panicked Kyle Pits. Yeah, I'm panicked. The tie to position is so singer swim. I think Drake won didn't. I could have honestly said panicked and might be a little weird saying relax for one and panic for the other, but we've seen this from Kyle Pits before. And I'm just worried about him being a starting tight end weekend week out. So I'll say we're all say panic on Kyle Pits. Last one. Another bears player relaxed or panicked, Colston, Lovlin didn't have one catch. I'm relaxed. I think he's

And me taking Drake London where I did hypothetically, I don't feel great about it. But we have seen him have success before at that quarterback play. So I'm not full panic mode, but if you had to ask me to pick one, I'd say panicked. If I'm panicked on Drake London, I'm certainly panicked on Kyle Pits as being a viable tight end starter weekend and we go to pan. Nice. Yeah. Little sausage made for those listening. I yeah, I don't know why I was relaxed. I was because maybe give my previous seconds going and I'm being hyped on him. I was trying to save myself, but I have to be realistic. Well, no, even as good as Michael Pennix is with even as good as Drake London is when Michael Pennix is starting, it's like playing the game of it's Wednesday. And I don't know if Michael Pennix is starting this week. Like it's going to be so annoying and agonizing, you know, yeah, 100%.

I'm going to give you the player and you're going to tell me whether you buy or sell their week one breakout. Buy or sell. Debo Samuel, the returning San Francisco 49ers wide receiver. Buy. Buy, buy, buy, buy. Stribbling now is going to miss time, right? Kittle only going to get more healthy. So he'll be more involved in the offense going forward. But this is an offense that spreads the ball around and Debo Samuel and Brock Pertie have a good rapport. Hey, maybe he returns one for a touchdown too. Sneaks you in extra six points here or there. Yeah, I'm buying Debo Samuel. I think there's I think he's once again going to be one of those safe floor type of players with this 49ers offense. Buy or sell Bryce Young quarterback with Carolina Panthers.

53:40I'm going to buy I think with Bryce, I'm not buying to start him every single week. But I firmly believe there's going to be a four week period where Bryce Young is a top three QB in fantasy. I think we've seen in fantasy play for him that the inconsistency is what's kept him from being a top tier type of guy. And I think we'll probably still have that that same relationship with him from a fantasy standpoint. But if you're uncertain about your starter, say you have Drake May, right? And you hadn't drafted a backup quarterback. And you were kind of just saying, I'll play the waiver wire for the by week. Like I don't mind you buying Bryce Young and stashing him right now and saying, look, two weeks in, three weeks in, if Bryce continues this play, like I'll be comfortable switching to him. And then he might burn me one game. And I might

54:41switch back to Drake at some point if AJ Brown comes back. But like I think that's in the cards. And I think he's one of those guys where, man, fantasy playoff, slate and fantasy season, like if you get hot, sometimes you just got to ride the hot end. And I think Bryce Young is going to have that in him this year. I don't know where he's going to finish long term on the season, but these spike weeks, I think are going to happen. Buy or sell the Bomb Vela, why receive for the New Orleans Saints. While Tyson is out, I'll buy. I'm not always super high on guys that I buy knowing that I'm probably still not going to start or flex. But the fact that they targeted him in the red zone is what really entices me. So I will buy Devon Vela, but it is, it's like a soft buy. Okay. Buy or sell. I think I know where you're going with this one. One of your guys, Jalen Coker, the Carolina Panthers. Buy. I don't have to buy because I have him

55:45in three of my teams. The only team I don't have him in is the one that you and I co-own. So we should buy him. We should buy him immediately. We were projected to be the best team and we had a downbeat. Yeah. Terrible. Terrible. That's why projections are just projections, man. And why you consistently in fantasy have to make adjustments. Cannot be like Christian Parker in the second half against the Giants. You have to make adjustments. Jalen Coker, yeah. Buy. I have AJ Brown in two leagues. Buy had Jalen Coker in both those leagues. I will be starting Jalen Coker going into this next week because AJ Brown's going to the IR spot. So absolute buy. Buy or sell. Khalif Raymond for the Chicago Bears. I'll sell this one. I think if you want him as a bench stash, fine. But I think the leveling is going to have better games ahead of him. I think Adunes A is going to have better games ahead of him. I think Burton still is going to have better

56:47games ahead of him. And I don't think you're going to be getting a reliable week to week starter in Khalif Raymond. Buy or sell. I say it likely the New York Giants. Yeah. Buy. They want to utilize. Can Kate and when he is healthy, they have always done that. So he's a buy. But both these guys can Kate likely. Can Kate maybe less so that's like a matchup dependent thing and kind of feeling out like is he banged up right now? Do I want to go? Do I want to put him out there? If he's 80% right? He's 80% but he's playing like in my sure I want to start him. The difference between can Kate and likely is Josh Allen's going to spread the ball around. Darn will do that a little bit but I think it's very clear that likely in neighbors once he's

57:50fully healthy are going to be his go-to targets. Buy or sell. Truba Hubbard. Buy. Yeah. I mean, I think this is a split backfield that could end up having two guys that are startable from a fantasy standpoint. I think a lot of people felt that way coming in. Then there was a ton of buzz on Brooks. While Chubu was injured, that Brooks was injured right before week one. They both end up playing. I think Chubu is going to be solid. I think they're going to be able to run the football. I think they're going to really make an effort to do that. They were almost a 50-50 split last year of how much they ran the ball versus how much they passed. And I think Chubu is a part of that equation for them offensively. So I'd buy. Buy or sell. Micaseki for the bangles. I'll sell. I think he's prone to having these breakout games here and there in fantasy. He did it sometimes in Miami. He'll do it in Cincinnati a few weeks this year, but I just don't think it's something you can

58:54rely on. Week to week, there was a ton of defensive attention put it on Jamar Chase and T Higgins. So Gaseki was open. He was available. Chase Brown obviously had a good game too. But we know that you can only keep T Higgins and Jamar Chase down for so long. So when that happens and they have their big games, Gaseki is going to be on the opposite side of that. So I'm going to sell. Buy or sell. Move. Pat Fryer. Move. Oh, sell. I don't he's in that same category really where he's been his entire fantasy career as he's been in the NFL, which is like he's a streaming candidate at the tight end position. But he's not who you want. Week in, week out as a starting tight end. And as good as he played in this game, he still didn't have the best play amongst Pittsburgh Steelers tight ends is that stiff arm by Darnell was on real. But I would sell. I mean, like stream him for your buy week, sure. Don't think he's a guy that you're going to be able to rely on as a weekly star. Buy or sell

59:59when you're guys in Tonya Williams for the commanders, the rookie. Buy. When a rookie in week one does what Antonio Williams did when you see how frequently J Daniels was looking for him and how often he was open. Exactly why they drafted him to play out of the slot. He's got real speed where he can make plays after the catch. And I just think that with so much defensive attention that's consistently going to be put on Terry McClure and and Stefan Diggs. Because I think in moments, Stefan Diggs is going to look like the wide receiver one in this offense. Antonio Williams is going to get a really good matchup and he's going to eat consistently. So I would have him, I mean, I'm probably not I'm not starting him next week, but I would roster him immediately. Buy or sell last one Caleb Douglas for the Miami dolphins. I think Douglas is going to have a good year. I just don't trust this passing offense. I just don't trust Malik Willis. Everybody was kind of like,

1:01:03yeah, I don't care that he started six games like they just paid him. He should be a starter. He made a lot of the same mistakes that I that come to mind when I think of why I don't trust Malik Willis as a starting quarterback. And I think they kind of get out there and they're just going to be looking to make plays less so than targeting a receiver who they targeting a receiver who he trusts time and time again. So I think Douglas is going to have some nice moments. I think Chris Bell will have nice moments, but I don't know if there's any reliability with Douglas as a past catcher in this dolphins offense, which I just don't have a ton of faith in. They don't have the pieces yet. They don't have the pieces on the offensive line. They don't have the system in place. Like we're in the baby stages of rebuilding this dolphins team back to being a legitimate NFL roster in a week to week and not being a week to week walk over for whoever they're playing. Nice.
