There we go, saying taping again. Oh man, remember we're hosting the NFL show. Matt, Drew, and Billy, we just finished the braves and the fillies. I was rooting for the fillies so that I wouldn't, I could be off on Thursday. My mom sat from Matt and my arm. My mom said, maybe you shouldn't publicly root to not have to work. I don't know. I feel like they understand. I don't think your listeners would take that personally. Yeah, mine was just high off. I don't want to talk to you all for a day. But they might be one your show that day. So the fair point. But I mean, you know, you get baseball. I, uh, ESPN radio is your home for baseball coverage.

3:02Um, but, uh, but so now I think I have tomorrow afternoon. But, uh, that may just take this tonight. So. Um, looking forward to the next episode. Um, looking forward to it. Drew, good to see you. I, you're, you are a braves fan. I'm a braves fan. So I'm on the kind of blue. Three to one in the eighth inning back to back home runs. Kind of blue, but I'll be honest. As a braves fan, you always expect to lose. What is it? You read me? Yeah, I just, oh, and six in their last six elimination games. Uh, one in 12 in their last 13 elimination games. And three and 17 going back to 1998. That's unbelievable. But not as good as my stat. I saw the Alex Breggman who has played, I guess, for the Astros. I don't know who he plays for now. Maybe the Cubs has played in a 101 playoff games in his career. But the Cincinnati Reds who have existed since 1882 have played in 98. Oh, there's a low one person below one person.

4:02Now there's some caveats that, you know, the playoffs weren't as long back then. Didn't have wild card. I get all that, but it's still pathetic. Yeah, the oldest team in the history of baseball has been out playoff by one person. When you have a hundred year head start, I think you throw the caveats out. I don't think you want to hear the caveats. You had a century to build. And they also were dominant in the 70s. You know, they had a whole decade where they were dominant. And still Alex Breggman's been there more times. That's a lot of playoff games. That's Alex Breggman. Yeah, 100. That stat has to exist somewhere in the NFL too, like Tom Brady versus the Detroit Lions or a franchise. I would bet Tom Brady is more than a bunch of franchises, wouldn't you think? Yeah. But baseball, it feels, but again, the NFL, the Super Bowl era started in 67. Baseball went back to 1882. And there used to be like 18s. And as a player, I mean, you know, a series, you might get a lot of games in one year. As opposed to football, even your best year, you know, and getting through four.

5:02That's exactly right. Yeah, but that is true. You're probably right, Tom Brady. But that'd be interesting to see how many franchises this Tom Brady was. This Tom Brady have more playoff games than they do. It's probably actually a lot. Yeah. Playoff wins. So wins. Winner now question. But I mean, he's played. Yeah, I would bet I'll go so far as sad that there's only like 12 playoff, 12 franchises that have more play. Why don't you just go by and ask your robot? I don't want to ask AI anything after after last year. And I will say, I will say the only franchise to have more of the Montreal Canadian. And play to more and a fail playoff games than Tom Brady. I believe by the way, the Montreal CFL team is the Montreal all alowets. How do you know that? I don't know. But I think that might be right. I'm not going to use this whole show to search things, but I believe that's true. It's week four. Chad, by the way, says Tom Brady has more than several.

6:03This is off the fly. It just said several. I mean, no, I had there's a list. I mean, it's a long list. It's more than double. So a lot of them. Jet, Saints, Falcons, Bingles, Lions, Texans, Panthers, Cardinals, Jaguars. Yeah, that's all there. Has some long paragraphs about others. Okay. Yeah, some of them, some of those are newer franchise. He has 48. Some of them don't have anywhere even while near. Four to that. Forty eights a lot. It's over half to me. The reds half. Well, he's what do we get? What do we got the right comes back? It's a catch the right. Okay. Let's just start before we go into some news. We didn't. We weren't able to talk about the Bears, Big Win, Case Kingdom. He comes out of the old folks home to come in and not just win. Played great. Like, he won't play like that all year. But that was like a top 15 quarterback performance in the NFL for a guy who had played since 2023. I love seeing it.

7:03I'll be honest. I never really had a strong case kingdom thought before that. I mean, I was aware he was amongst us. I knew it existed. Yeah. But I never really had an opinion either way. But just watching him sling it for the Bears, I don't know if I want to be happy for him or is the Bears offense just can we just plug in anybody like? Because we're now see three guys. That was my biggest takeaway is that maybe Ben Johnson is just like the best coach. I mean, so who are the best coaches in the league? If you're just talking right now, who if I had to start a franchise, who would I want? And let's say I get him for a decade. I'm probably going to take Todd. I think the choice is Todd McVeigh. Sean McVeigh? I think I got Todd McShay and Sean McVeigh. I don't know how Todd would do as I'd get. Todd McShay, I don't know. I would not pick. Sean McVeigh, Kyle Shanahan, Mike McDonald, and then I think fourth you might put Ben Johnson. Who would you put ahead of him besides those three?

8:05Ben Johnson's on my list. Other than the shirt he coming off so quickly, I love his fire. I love that it's like an offensive, some fun to watch, scoring a lot of points. He's still young. It's only been, was I should the first year? Yeah. It's the only second year. Yeah. It's could be an overreaction to one good year, but he's high on my list. I'd love to say that is because Caleb Williams had such a huge leap. Tyler Beigeant played well. I think he played two games last year. And then you throw in Case Keenum and then he calls a perfect game for him. I think with Billy, they could at least beat the Titans. I think it's probably, I mean, who else would you read? For the future. For the future. He's clock will be a little. Exactly. I mean, in a one game scenario tomorrow, I might take Andy Reid, but if I was building for the future. Sean Payton. No. Again, career is better, but if you're talking about right now, everybody's focused on Case Keenum and the Bears. But I mean, they fear the Eagles.

9:05How do you lose? I mean, they were only touched down was like a mad scram. I mean, they were a half a second from scoring no points. That's my big takeaway from that is the Eagles this year. Not only it don't look to be a contender, it might not be that good. Part of that is I have as someone that watches every snap of the Titans game, when you've played the Titans and not played well, I see everything. You saw that you said you did not look good. I mean, the Titans had them beat. The Titans led with a minute and a half left. I had to drive the field to win it, but that I did not see a team that look good. Then you turn around and can barely score against the Bears. I'd be very worried if I was a Philly fan. Yeah. I mean, I'm not a Philly fan, but I'd be worried. You know, and people still don't think Jay one hurts is good, but like he's not helping himself right now. No, and because you didn't have a great year last year. And I think well, their offense took a big hit last year. I think they really wanted it to be an AJ Brown problem and AJ Brown's not there and they seem to even be worse. Yeah, but even their defense. I mean, you give up 27 should have been 34. You know, they had that really bad turnover. The Bears did at the end of what was at the end of the first half.

10:07You know, could have been worse. Your bears are good. You just need to accept it. Your bears are good. Well, they have a lot of, they've got a lot of weapons. You know, with burden, um, Doom's A, there was a guy I'd never heard of who made a bunch of plays. I wanted to better tie in. And you got two because you also got caught met and then Lovelin had not done anything the first two weeks. And then they're running back. Swifts good. And they had the other guy who's named a non guy. So they got pretty often. And the offense lines better. Like that was kind of a weakness last year and it's better. And going into the year, this was going to be one of the harder games on your schedule. This was one that everybody had circled as a meaningful game. You know, you handled them with your first drink or back. It was porn rain. It was nine to three. And they were driving to win that game too. And then Caleb, you don't have a devastating injury. People are flags still have a message. I go for him. Have we recovered? Are we guys? The banks back open time getting over that one. I'm telling you, like, that's going to be hard. Like, I hope his friends give all they can do is come back in first game.

11:08Just look great and put a button. I mean, I will say next game, if he takes a hit, I don't care how bad it hurt. You better give it right back. I'm out of your alarm. It's broken in half. You got to tough it out. No matter what, that's right. So we'll big win by the bears and then we'll see what happens with the Eagles. You know, they had a chance. Before the Eagles lost going in that game, I had my whole narrative I was going to say. Okay. My narrative was going to be that last year was like a glitch in the matrix. Right. Because think about what happened last year with like, you know, you had, uh, it was the sea hawks in the chiefs. We had six wins. The chiefs were not good. Hmm. The bills weren't great. The Eagles weren't great. Right. And my, I was just going to say it's a glitch in the matrix. They just for whatever reason. And now we're back to where we should have been last year. Water found its level. Exactly. But then the Eagles kind of screwed that up. I'll lose anything. Dang it, Philly. But that would have been a good narrative. I would have liked where you're going. Yeah. You're narratives.

12:08You have free loaded before the game ends. Last year's script, we dropped in some water and you got messed up. What do you think? You're narratives that you have preloaded before the game starts. Well, that's what you, when you go national, that's what you understand. I understand. You have to, before the game, you just decide what you're going to say. Yeah. And then you hope the game doesn't ruin it. And then root. Sometimes we're right both sides of the argument and you pick which one so you can make both cases. We should do a segment. We all have to give our take that we would say next week. And then we'll go visit them. We'll pick one or two games and we'll just do this is the take depending on who wins. Okay. All right. And I promise you I will use them in all seriousness. All right. So let's get to the news whether what give me some news. Sean McVeigh. He told reporters he expects wide receiver Pukin Akua who had a groin injury to play Sunday versus the Eagles. McVeigh was also told by League of Officials that Josh Wallace should not have been called for DPI on Sunday. Oh, they did. I didn't hear that. Yeah. They did say that was false. Well, I mean, that means you just cost in the game.

13:10You're pretty much admitting. Hey, you're basically saying you would have won but we screwed up. I guess I like the honesty. Yeah, I guess I prefer honesty to not but but also like. I don't know. I don't think I'd want to know. I mean, does it help? No, not at all. Like the Western mission. It's the same thing. It's like, oh, sorry. You should have won. Anyway, loser. But if they don't win this week, that would be the one and two and they're playing at Philadelphia. This game. This will be a game for both those. The Rams are still the favorite for the Super Bowl. The two games that happened, one, the NFL has admitted.

14:13They screwed up. They were in Denver in the altitude and still should have won. And then the Australian thing was a bad decision. They're not playing the Super Bowl in Australia. The Rams drew are still my Super Bowl favorite. Oh, what a take. Are we cheers? You need like a sound. Like a bump, bump, bump, bump. Like a bump, bump, bump, bump. Oh, you need something. Okay. Then what's yours? I'm going to say that if the Eagles lose to the Rams and the offense does not score points, they're one game away from looking for a new head coach. Oh, this offense last year was so you have say, Cawon Barkley still looking like he's in his prime. You have a former Super Bowl champion. A quarterback. You're a former Super Bowl champion yourself. How is this offense so bad it cannot go on? Love it. Love it. Strong take. What about you? What's your take? Rams killed the Eagles and continues to show me that Pukinakua is the best receiver in the national football league. He came back. He came back. They look like a completely different offense. Eagles are still the favorite to win the Super Bowl. So those are three insanely hot takes and we have not even watched the game.

15:17They haven't even kicked it off yet. Okay. Let's flip it real quick. Okay. Eagles win. This has been a disaster of a year for Todd McVeigh. Todd McVeigh. Todd McVeigh. Todd McVeigh. His brother. Todd McVeigh is coaching like Todd McVeigh. He has completely lost his team. His poor decision making from the way they went to Australia to his defense at the end to this terrible performance in Philadelphia makes me question whether he's the genius we thought he was. Boom.
