Motorbike Crash in Lisburn: Witnesses Needed

0:00On April 5, two men in their 30s are fighting for their lives after a motorbike crash in Lisburn. It happened Saturday afternoon around 4.25 p.m. on Pond Park Road East. The bike slammed into a crash barrier in what police are calling a single vehicle incident. Both riders suffered serious injuries and remained in the hospital in critical, but stable condition. Detiss are still coming in, but emergency crews rushed to the scene right after the call came through. No other vehicles were involved, pointing to a possible loss of control on that stretch of road. Folks in the area are shaken up as these kinds of crashes hit close to home and tight-knit communities like Lisburn. The rider's families are no doubt holding out hope while docks keep a close watch. Police are now digging deeper and putting out a strong call for witnesses. They're especially after anyone who saw the bike's movements leading up to the smash or has dash cam footage that could fill in the blanks. If you are around or have video, hit up the cops. Every bit helps get answers and prevent the next one.
