Every manufacturer is deep into prototype testing to adapt quick. KTM kicked things off in a res, late last year Honda hits the pang and Yamaha tested in Japan, all with test riders. They loop back to Horez in March on Pirellis, and now Aprilya and Ducati drop their prototypes this April with riders like Lorenzo Savadori and Nikolo Bulega. Test riders are owning early laps at spots like Magello in early May, Barcelona, Mid-Month and Misano right after. But full-time racers wait till June 22nd after the Czech Grand Prix in Bernal before they hop on and only if they're locked in with that. Manufacturer for 2027.

Quaterraro, Tejonda or Jorge Martin to Yamaha mean no dice till January 1st, just about seven riders qualify now for Berno and Spielberg sessions. Talks are buzzing on an amnesty so everyone tests Avalencia, Postseason finale on November 29th, letting teams grab full feedback before. Concessions end and preseason raps up in late January.
