About this episode

Two Morgan State standouts, Erick Hunter and Elijah Williams, are officially NFL players just before kickoff—Hunter with the Patriots, Williams with the Vikings. Both were game-changers at HBCU, Hunter dominating with All-American honors and a HBCU Legacy Bowl appearance, while Williams racked up over 200 tackles and forced fumbles as an undrafted free agent. Despite setbacks—including Williams’ season-ending injury and Hunter’s initial release by the Lions—their perseverance paid off, proving the depth of talent emerging from historically Black colleges.
