I'm Steve O'Dell with Mission Network News. Members of Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps in Lebanon could soon face arrest and deportation. The move targets the IRGC's partnership with the Lebanese extremist group Hezbollah. At the same time, Israeli strikes have hit Southern Beirut and Israel has warned people to evacuate. John Cernelia, with sat seven USA says, on one hand, their staff in Lebanon are familiar with conflict. Yet that doesn't mean there isn't fear. Pray for Christ's peace in Lebanon. Syria joins perpetrators like Iran and China in a report released this week by the US Commission on International Religious Freedom. Dan O'Lashani of Open Door's International says religious freedom is a right. Wherever it's not protected, Christians face persecution. The US CIRF report helps to inform State Department decisions. Actions can range from individual sanctions to economic pressure. O'Lashani describes three ways to pray at MissionNews.org.
