About this episode

The Mets are shaking things up after a brutal start, firing manager Carlos Mendoza and naming Andy Green as interim skipper. With a dismal 34-47 record and a six-game skid, the team’s leadership admits it’s time for change — even though they still believe in Mendoza’s potential. Now, the hunt is on for a new permanent manager, and David Ross — who led the Cubs to a World Series title — is already in the mix, drawn by the Mets’ roster and the chance to inject fresh energy into a sinking ship.
