Mentalist's Nightmare: Shooting, Swaps & Trump's Fury

0:00It's April 27. From red carpets to breaking stories, this is entertainment and celebrity news, powered by AI. Mentalist Oz Perlman got pulled from Monday's Jimmy Kimmel Live episode right after that wild shooting at the White House correspondence dinner. He was on stage doing his mind reading act when 31-year-old Cole Allen opened fire, getting charged with trying to assassinate President Trump. Perlman was just feet away from the President during the chaos. Trump had heights Proman as a guest last week, but ABC swapped him out quietly for Pots Save America, co-host John Lovehead, and Gronish Star Anthony Anderson. Proman kept performing after they hit the deck, later calling it the scariest moment of his life with eyes locked on Trump. Trump and Melania fired back hard at Kimmel over a pre-dinner joke, roasting her as having a glow like an expectant widow. She posted that enough is enough and ABC needs to act, while Trump demanded on truth social that Disney and ABC fire Kimmel immediately for going to.

1:02Far. No word yet from Kimmel's team on the Switch or the backlash. Perlman made it home safe that night, hugging his kids like never before, and thanking everyone for being okay. This whole mess shows how one bad night flipped the script on late night TV plans and reignited all feuds, leaving us watching what ABC does next.
