0:00It's April 30th. This is Entertainment and Celebrity News today, powered by AI, your front row to the latest buzz. I'm Cory with the story. Meghan Trainor just jumped into the world of women's sports as an investor in Women's Elite Rugby, the top professional league for women in the U.S. She's all in on pushing the future of female athletics, and they've even tapped her track shimmer to hype up the crowds before every game. In her announcement, Trainor shared how pumped she is to back these athletes breaking into a field long run by men. It's a big move for the league, giving them star power and fresh energy as they gear up for a strong season ahead. Fans are buzzing about this crossover, seeing it as a win for visibility in Women's Rugby, which has been growing fast but still fights for the spotlight. Trainor's involvement could draw in new crowds and sponsors, leveling the playing field a bit more. Shifting gears to more music drops, Maroon 5 is teasing their new single, Heroin. Head to hit at midnight on Thursday, with a lyric video in tow.
