Man Breaches Chinese Embassy in Japan, Threatens Staff

0:00It's March 24. I'm Cory with the story, this is Global News, driven by AI and built for a global audience. China has filed a strong protest with Japan after a man broke into its embassy in Tokyo. The incident happened Tuesday morning when the individual scaled the embassy wall and forced his way inside. The man claimed to be an active duty officer from Japan's self-defense forces. He later admitted his actions were illegal during questioning. Chinese officials say he also threatened to kill embassy staff. Assuming it was in the name of God, this is Ray's serious security concerns at the diplomatic site. Beijing's foreign ministry spokesperson, Lynn Jean, made the complaint public during a press briefing. They urged Japanese authorities to launch a full investigation right away. Tensions between the two nations simmer as officials work to prevent any repeat of this breach.
